The Unification Church claims Sun Myung Moon is the savior of the world

The Unification Church was founded by Sun Myung Moon, who claims he got direct revelation from God that he, Sun Myung Moon will be the savior of the world.

What the Moonies teach

(most of the following bullet statements are excerpts from the Kingdom of the Cults, by Dr. Walter Martin)

• The Unification Church teaches that man is the visible form of God, and God is the invisible form of man -- God and man are one -- man is incarnate God
• Sun Myung Moon teaches that Jesus on earth, was a man no different from us except for the fact that he was without original sin
• Sun Myung Moon says that Jesus appeared to Him and asked Him to fulfill the mission that He did not complete
• The Unification Church teaches that Jesus did not have a bodily resurrection from the dead they teach He was raised a spirit
• The Unification Church teaches that Jesus and God lost everything at the cross and there was no salvation given. The world will be saved through the new Christ, "Sun Myung Moon"
• The Unification Church teaches that salvation is not by grace and the atonement at the cross. Salvation can only be achieved by human works and by the teachings, revelations, and the requirements of Sun Myung Moon.
• The Unification Church teaches the Bible cannot be understood except through the teaching of God's prophet, Mr. Moon

Sun Myung Moon's Unification church is a classic mind control cult and fulfillment of the scripture that says, "many will come in my name saying I am Christ" and will lead many to destruction. This religion appeals to those who need a father figure dictator in their life. They choose to be told what to believe no matter how illogical or foolish. There is no semblance of Christianity in the Unification Church. It is a demonic cult founded on a con man who is now quite dead and cannot even save his own soul.
