The defense Minister of Japan obviously knows the history of the war while his critics either do not or they are still bitter that the US won. If the bombs had not been dropped the Soviets would have entered the war and there would have been an invasion of Japan that would have killed million. Japan would then have become part of the Soviet Union. Therefore, the Japanese ought to thank the US that they ended the war by the use of the Atomic bomb. Any other end would have been much worse. By the way, many more people were killed by the B-29 incendiary bombing raids that were prior to this. If the atomic weapons had not been used what makes anyone think that these bombing would not have continued destroying all of Japan’s major cities along with the burning of millions of Japanese? If the Japanese had the A-bomb is there any doupt in anyone’s mind that they would have attempted to use it against the US?

It is very convenient for revisionists and hind-sighters to be blind to the events that happened prior to the decision by the US to drop atomic weapons. If Japan was a victim it was a victim of their choice to worship their emperor god who made decisions that brought Japan to its destruction. Japan could have surrender at any time prior to the A-bombs being dropped but like radical Islam the Japenese believed they were fighting for God. They would fight to the end. Even after the burning of most of Tokyo by incendiary bombs the Japanese military said they would fight to its end. They were not kidding.

Certain people argue that the military should not bomb cities in a war but since war making capabilities are located in cities there is no choice. War is hell. It is best not to start one. Especially if you might lose. Let the Atomic weapons be a warning to the world that there are no sanctuaries in war and outcomes can be very tragic. The only sure rule in war is that nations at war will do whatever it takes for their own survival.

I have come to the conclusion that the reason President Bush pushed so hard for this bill is that he promised to deliver this amnesty legislation to the leaders of Mexico. So what else is new?

If we took that same 200 billion each year and bought additional products from Mexico and Central American there would be little immigration to the US coming from those regions. The real answer to the immigration problem is to buy products from our neighbors even if it costs more than buying China’s cheap crap. As Mexico and Central America get richer they will also import more US products and trade would eventually even out. Then everyone would win except for the elite of China.

I did not know about this lawsuit. I also don’t know about the facts in the case but I wish WND well because if Jones wins the lawsuit I suppose it will put WND out of business and then a major source of Christian alternative news will vanish. If you were a true Christian you would try to live by the teachings found in the foundational teachings of that belief. Our foundation is the Bible and the Bible teaches that God’s people do not support the killing of unborn babies nor do we promote homosexuality which God says is an abomination. The bible teaches us to pray always and to believe that God was the intelligent designer.

Face it Obama, Democrat views are very often contrary to God’s teaching, yet you think evangelicals should still believe that those supporting this agenda are people of faith?
