The shotgun wedding to China was arranged by idealists

The people of the U.S. are not in love with China. The people have blindly allowed its globalist government and business leaders to export all their manufacturing jobs so they can import products back to the U.S. using cheap labor. The globalists goal of this transfer of wealth is to made more profit for their Corporations and/or to put all the peons on the earth on the same level.

They believe that a prosperous China would no longer be a threat to the West because they believe it would then no longer be in China’s best interests to upset the economic apple cart. Those like Bill Clinton that pushed this policy have a socialist Utopian idealism that is grounded in humanistic fantasy-land.

The Chinese leaders are realists. They are quite aware that they are heading for a war with the U.S. and all this capitalism is the means to the end to build up their military capabilities. There is no evidence that the leaders of China actually care about the living conditions of their own peons. “Face” is all important with the leaders of China. China must be respected as the greatest nation on earth or else. Globalists do not understand this because they are blinded by their humanistic idealism. They do not understand oriental fascism and that is why their short sighted idealism will help bring the world to its destruction.
