Repaying good with evil

FrontPage Magazine: “Altogether these four jihadists collected the equivalent of nearly $400,000 dollars in various forms of government assistance in the years prior to their strike. High as this figure is, it does not include the healthcare and schooling they received over time. Yet all this generosity failed to elicit even the smallest measure of gratitude. Not only that, it provoked in them sentiments diametrically opposite – a hatred so intense that it gave birth to a desire to commit mass murder. As they put on their death-laden backpacks on that morning of July 21, all the free housing, education, healthcare and income support they had received counted for nothing. The only thing on their mind was murder. This was their payback to the country that provided for them so generously in their hour of need. Inspired by the teachings of Islam, they sought to repay great good with great evil.

Their act throws light not only on their own personal depravity, but also on the larger problem of Muslim discontent as their sentiments are shared by scores of their co-religionists across the western world. No matter how much is done for them, far too many despise the societies from which they so willingly draw support and benefits.”

Until the West understands the root causes of the Islamic culture of hate it will keep asking why do these Muslim’s hate us when we did them good? They hate us because they are brought up to hate us, and their religion teaches them to hate us.

Fasting with the enemies of God for the destruction of Israel

FrontPage Magazine: “Muslim Groups in the U.S. have joined with left-wing Protestants and Catholics in planning an “interfaith fast” on the upcoming “day officially known as ‘Columbus Day,’” according to fast organizers. Called “From Conquest to Community, From Violence to Reverence: An Interfaith Fast to End the War in Iraq,” the day of October 8, 2007 will conveniently synchronize with Islam’s “Night of Power” during Ramadan.
The fasters include officials from the Islamic Society of North America, the National Council of Churches, the Council on American Islamic Relations, the Catholic Maryknollers, Sojourners, the United Methodist Board of Church and Society, and the Quaker Fellowship of Reconciliation.
What better way to draw religionists together than to transforming the sinister day of conquest formerly known as Columbus Day into a Ramadan fast devoted to opposing American imperialism?!”

The interfaith out-of-faith lefties think they can end the war in Iraq by not eating for part of a day. I have news. Christians cannot join with Muslim groups and be heard by God. Muslim’s deny the Son of God is God and according to the Christian Bible they therefore cannot know the Father either. You out-of-faith interfaith “Christians” ought to read the Bible for the first time in your life.

If fasting itself actually has the power to change things on the earth why don’t you all get together to fast to cool it. I am going to eat twice as much on that day so all your pseudo Christian and Muslim fasting vibes do not cause a nova on the sun and melt Antarctica, causing the real agenda of Muslims to be fulfilled when Israel is flooded.

The religion of environmentalism

FrontPage Magazine: “The environmentalist canon may be described thusly: 1) Global Warming caused by carbon dioxide emissions is revealed truth. 2) If we don’t repent, mankind will be eternally damned. 3) Doubters are monsters and mental defectives comparable to Holocaust-deniers and members of the Flat Earth Society. And 4) It’s time to purge our SUV sins by abolishing the industrial revolution and turning to pig manure and solar power for energy. The former may in found in abundance among Global-Warming advocates in Congress and the media.

In a 2003 speech to San Francisco’s Commonwealth Club, popular science novelist Michael Crichton described the religion of environmentalism, predecessor to the Church of Global Warming:

‘Today, one of the most powerful religions in the Western World is environmentalism,’ Crichton disclosed. ‘Environmentalism seems to be the religion of choice for urban atheists. . There’s an initial Eden, a paradise, a state of grace and unity with nature, there’s a fall from grace into a state of pollution as a result of eating from the tree of knowledge, and as a result of our actions there is a judgment day coming for us all. We are all energy sinners, doomed to die, unless we seek salvation, which is now called sustainability.’”

This is a darn good article about the global warming hysteria and the belief system that drives it.

The real long war against the oikophobes

American Thinker: The Real Long War: “The ‘oikophobic’ alliance presents a Janus face to the world. It claims to be the very highest and best in human evolution, committed to equality, sharing and caring. In pursuit of this ideal it advocates constantly for inclusiveness and against divisiveness. Yet it conducts its politics according to the crudest techniques of the demagogue, setting worker against boss, renter against owner, woman against man, poor against wealthy, secularist against believer, black against white, gown against town.

And its institutions–the schools, universities, foundations, arts communities, and newsrooms of the world–are the most exclusive and divisive around. Conservatives and Christians need not apply.

But for all their faults you would think that the ‘oikophobes’ would be willing to help conservatives defeat the homophobes, the racists, and the patriarchs of the Middle East.

But they won’t. They are ‘oikophobes’ and they believe in taking the side of ‘them’ against ‘us.’”

Oikophobes are liberals.

Biggest unknown scandals of history

Author reveals ‘biggest unknown scandal of the Clinton years’ (OneNewsNow.com): “The book by Thomas E. Woods, Jr. is called 33 Questions about American History You’re Not Supposed to Ask. The publisher, Crown Forum, describes the book as ‘a provocative look at the hidden truths about our nation’s history — the ones that have been buried because they’re too politically incorrect to discuss.’
Among the topics discussed in the book: The Indians did not save the Pilgrims from starvation by teaching them to grow corn. The ‘Wild’ West was more peaceful and a lot safer than most modern cities. And the biggest scandal during the Clinton years did not involve a blue dress. Regarding the latter, Wood says despite the constant coverage of the Monica Lewinsky affair during the 1990s, the biggest unknown scandal of the Clinton presidency had to do with his foreign policy.”

I thought the Clinton administration foreign policy was to sell out the US to China and to make America look militarily and morally weak. They succeed.

Peace through arms deals

Frank Gaffney: Saudi arms deal rewards terror ‘abetters’ (OneNewsNow.com):
A defense policy expert is expressing concern over a proposed U.S.-Saudi Arabia arms deal that would send the Saudis $20 billion in advanced weaponry over the next decade.
“The deal, announced yesterday in Washington, DC, purportedly will help secure Iraq and the Persian Gulf while at the same time promote stability and U.S. influence in an area of the world threatened by terrorism and rising Iranian ambitions — or so says the Bush administration. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said the proposed package ‘will help bolster forces of moderation’ and support efforts against what she called ‘the negative influences of al-Qaeda, Hezbollah, Syria, and Iran.’ The weapons package for Saudi Arabia reportedly includes advanced satellite-guided bombs, upgrades to its fighter jets, and new naval vessels”

20 billion worth of weapons to Saudi Arabia, 13 billion to Egypt, 30 billion to Israel! All this supposedly to contain Iran? Yet, they know Iran will not be a threat much longer. The government of Iran will either soon be overthrown or most of its military capabilities will be destroyed by air strikes. Its not like they don’t know this, they have plans to carry this out.

The real threat is Islam, yet we are the ones arming Islam in the hope that a few secular leaders will prevail. They will not. It only pushes off the inevitable conflict against world Islamofascism and makes that conflict more deadly.

Sending arms to a majority of people who embrace violent Jihad against Israel and the non Muslim world as if doing this is somehow going to bring stability is nuts. The people suggesting these arm sales need to be locked up in padded rooms. The continual PC denial of Islam’s hatred for the West will prove to be deadly for the West.

You are what you eat

Carnivore sex off the menu - The Press - Get the latest local, national and world news from Christchurch’s daily newspaper: “Vegansexuals are people who do not eat any meat or animal products, and who choose not to be sexually intimate with non-vegan partners whose bodies, they say, are made up of dead animals. Vegansexuals are people who do not eat any meat or animal products, and who choose not to be sexually intimate with non-vegan partners whose bodies, they say, are made up of dead animals. “

One vegan respondent from Christchurch said: “I believe we are what we consume, so I really struggle with bodily fluids, especially sexually.”

If you are what you eat you would be vegetable soup. If you ate only fruits and nuts you would become a homosexual.

If you pot heads had half a brain left you would be dangerous.

Pennsylvania want to make Interstates toll roads

WPSU: Congressmen come up with plan to nix I-80 tolls (2007-07-31): “Peterson told Public Radio Capitol News’ Jen Rehill, ‘The federal government didn’t intend the interstate system to be tolled; it was built as a free highway to crisscross and connect this country together and allow goods and services to move in an affordable fashion. I think tolling our interstate system is wrong.’”

Lets get this right. The people paid for the Interstate with gas taxes. The gas taxes have been misused and fund other things besides roads so the Legislators now want toll roads to pay for the roads that we are already paying for with our gas taxes? The funds the toll roads will collect will largely be used to pay for the bureaucracy that manages the toll roads and collects the tolls!

These people are nuts and we are nuts if we keep these people in office.

Gog wants Sex for the motherland and the Fascist Nashi’s

Sex for the motherland: Russian youths encouraged to procreate at camp the Daily Mail
Attempting to raise Russia’s dismally low birthrate even by eccentric-seeming means might be understandable. Certainly, the country’s demographic outlook is dire. The hard-drinking, hardsmoking and disease-ridden population is set to plunge by a million a year in the next decade.
But the real aim of the youth camp - and the 100,000-strong movement behind it - is not to improve Russia’s demographic profile, but to attack democracy.

Under Mr Putin, Russia is sliding into fascism, with state control of the economy, media, politics and society becoming increasingly heavy-handed. And Nashi, along with other similar youth movements, such as ‘Young Guard’, and ‘Young Russia’, is in the forefront of the charge.

If tens of thousands of uniformed German youngsters were marching across Germany in support of an authoritarian Fuhrer, baiting foreigners and praising Hitler, alarm bells would be jangling all across Europe. So why aren’t they ringing about Nashi?

Everyone but the liberal West which has its head in the sand about many world threats can see that Russia is going Fascist big time and Putin is the one pushing it. Yet we continue to kiss up to him like he was our friend. If we think we had problems with Russia during the cold war just wait another decade. What a wonderful world it will be.

Putin has become as popular in Russia as Hitler was in Germany and he has much the same ideology and personality. He is now in the process of killing and marginalizing his opposition and he is now making land and power grabs for control of the earth’s energy resources. He is also modernizing the military and has announced plans to again become a military superpower. Putin is still fairly young he will not go away. He will be Gog of Ezekiel chapters 38 and 39 or at the very least he is setting the foundation for Gog.

Alert on hate crimes legislation

NPN Email Alert: “Sens. Kennedy and Smith had good reason for trying to attach the hate bill to the military re-appropriations bill several weeks ago: they have the votes to pass it.
A vote on the hate crimes amendment is now postponed until September. That delay can help defeat the bill — only if concerned Americans work hard during the summer recess of Congress. We must guarantee overwhelming protest when Congress reconvenes on September 4.
Otherwise, this delay will actually help the hate bill to pass! With the American military anxiously in need of funding, President Bush will face intense pressure in September to sign the arms bill. The President has indicated he would veto the hate bill. Yet if the Senate attaches it to the arms bill and won’t back down, Bush may feel forced to pass the arms bill and the hate bill together.
If the hate crimes bill becomes law, America will become a virtual police state, with united federal and local police powers. Anyone (including pastors, publishers, talk show hosts, etc.) “

The hate bill could be interpreted anyway any local, state or federal government wanted it to be interpreted. Whatever the prosecutor believes is hate is hate. If Christian teaching is viewed as hate Christians will be prosecuted. If teaching the truth about global warming is view as a danger, it is hate. Saying homosexuality is sinful will be hate. Calling people sinners will be hate. Saying Islam is evil is hate. The list of hate will be as vast as the prejudice within a prosecutor or an accusers mind.

The European Union Deal

Constance Cumbey — The European Union Deal: “When there was obviously popular rejection by the peoples of the affected countries themselves to this acknowledged “democratic deficit” power grab, new scheming began. That culminated in the recent treaty meetings and there seems to be an obvious “the people be damned” approach to it. British elements are trying frantically to force a referendum. Eurocrats and global elitists are frantically trying to stop one from happening.”

Terrorist activety likely within three months in rural America

Family Security Matters
“Counterterrorism expert Juval Aviv met recently with reporters at Fox News and revealed information, which he believes is accurate, concerning an imminent Al Qaeda attack on five to seven American cities simultaneously. ‘I predict, based primarily on information that is floating in Europe and the Middle East, that an event is imminent and around the corner here in the United States. It could happen as soon as tomorrow, or it could happen in the next few months. Ninety days at the most,” said Mr. Aviv.”

Mr. Aviv told Fox that, from what his sources have been relating, sleeper cells that already have been placed inside the continental United States are on the verge of carrying out major attacks.

“What they’re going to do,” he explained, “is hit six, seven or eight cities simultaneously to show sophistication and really hit the public. This time, which is the message of the day, it will not only be big cities. They’re going to try to hit rural America. They want to send a message to rural America: “You’re not protected. If you figured out that if you just move out of New York and move to Montana or to Pittsburgh, you’re not immune. We’re going [to] get you wherever we can and it’s easier there than in New York.”

I certainly would pay heed to this warning. Multiple attacks is exactly what I expect them to do. One of the reason they might hit rural America is that terrorists so far have not been very successful in not getting caught before they carry out their act. They are likely to have much more success in rural areas. They will be going for big numbers of causalities so stay observant at sporting events, state fairs, amusement parks, shopping centers and anywhere else large number gather. If you hear of an attack elsewhere take immediate action where you are at. Be extra cautious around labor day, 9/11 and around Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur especially if there is military action in the Middle-East.

In the Heart of Freedom, in Chains

FrontPage Magazine: “The most positive development I know came when Bill Cosby addressed the NAACP on the 50th anniversary of the Brown v. Board of Education desegregation decision and spoke the truth that people like Jesse Jackson, glaring at him from the next chair, try to suppress and stigmatize as racist. “The lower economic and lower middle economic people are not holding their end in this deal,” Cosby said. “In the neighborhood that most of us grew up in, parenting is not going on. . . . People in jail, and women having children by five, six different men. . . . We’ve got to take the neighborhood back. . . . It’s not what they’re doing to us. It’s what we’re not doing . . . . All of these people . . . they’ve got to be wondering what the hell happened. Brown v. Board of Education—these people who marched and were hit in the face with rocks and punched in the face to get an education, and we got these knuckleheads walking around who don’t want to learn English. . . . Well, Brown v. Board of Education, where are we today? . . . What did we do with it? . . . . Fifty percent drop out—rest of them in prison. . . . You have the pileup of these sweet beautiful things born by nature—raised by no one.”

Blacks need to heed this message, and whites need to stop telling them anything different.”

The four horsemen of the British Methodists

FrontPage Magazine: “Last Easter, the then president of the British Methodist Church preached not about the Resurrection but about the ugly threat of Global Warming, with the United States as the chief climate culprit. Referencing the Garden of Eden, the Rev. Tom Stuckey bemoaned that the world had gone from a “a place of cool shade” to a “polluted paradise lost; a savage wilderness of terror, fear and insecurity,” over which “hangs the threat of further global warming and ecological disaster,” whose “first victims” will again be poor Africans and Asians.

Pastor Stuckey described the four horseman of the apocalypse in stark political terms. The white horse is “imperialism - some would say American globalization,” the fiery red horse is “military invasion and terrorist atrocity” the black horse is plague, and the pale horse is “carbon emissions that will blot out the light of the sun.” “

“The British Methodists have started their own “Operation Noah” to stave off Global Warming. Their churches may be emptying, but at least they might be saved from the apocalyptic white horse of American imperialism and the pale horse of carbon emissions.”

Hahahahahahahaha. I have heard everything now. What a bunch of total loones. Rev Stuckey’s preaching sounds like it is the Bible defined by Homer Simpson. By the way Rev Stuckey, if carbon emissions actually blotted out the light of the sun you would have global cooling not warming. You might stick to preaching what it says in the Bible, then again, with your interpretation of passages in the Bible you might be better off just writing Homer’s Bible Commentary.

Losing Your Home because everyone lives in Fantasyland

RealClearPolitics - Articles - Losing Your Home: “Those unscrupulous lenders love to do their sanctimonious riff and claim that their ‘innovative’ loans provided a public service by enabling previously unqualified buyers to get their families into their own homes.
But they knew those families wouldn’t stay in those homes long.
They knew. They knew. They knew.”

Everyone should have known, including the buyers. Why did it happen? because everyone is living in Fantasyland. The buyers think everything keeps going up and they think they will get raises or equality loans to pay for the house they know they cannot now afford. The lenders think that if these people default property values will have increased and the houses will be worth more than the loan. The stock holders of the loan companies want the lending rules relaxed so they can make more on their investment this quarter.

Don’t be so sure that those who can afford their loans will not also pay for this. If they try to sell their house they will get much less, if they can sell it at all. If things get much worse and real estate collapses countrywide it will impact everyone in this country. There will be a severe recession or even a complete collapse of the economy or else there will be a massive government bail out. In that case the collapse of the economy will come a few year later because of higher taxes, inflation, or default on our national debt.

The demise of America is certain, While Conservatives slept the commies won

OpinionJournal - Outside the Box: “To do that we must build many more nuclear power plants and increase our drilling for oil and gas. The NPC report says it takes 15 to 20 years from exploration until production begins, and it costs $3 billion to build an average 120,000-barrel-a-day oil refinery. That is just the opposite of the current congressional policy of reducing oil use, blocking access to existing domestic oil reserves, not increasing nuclear power generation, and touting ethanol as another subsidy for farmers. “

What you say in this article is correct and it is one more reason that proves that America is doomed. While America slept the socialist globalists have shipped all our manufacturing capabilities overseas and liberal environmentalist’s have hindered any meaningful energy development in the United States for the next two decades. Meanwhile our government has put us so far into debt that it can never be payed off.

They have almost accomplished their main objective and with new carbon laws they will go for the kill. The objective is for America to become a second world insignificant power. America will never again be the biggest CO2 emitter. That privilege has been given to China for whom we have now become dependent on for everything. While Conservatives slept the commies won.

We probably won’t need all these new energy resources now anyway. In the future decades of depression in America we will not be able to afford them. The demise of America is now certain. It is now too late for a cure to the cancer that has been eating away at America for four decades.

The Saudi Connection to terrorism

The Saudi Connection: “ALMOST SIX YEARS after September 11, 2001, and more than four years since the beginning of the U.S.-led intervention in Iraq, the American government and media have begun to admit something every informed and honest Muslim in the world has known all along. That is: the ‘Sunni insurgency’ in Iraq, as well as 9/11 and certain acts of extremist Sunni violence inside Iraq before then, are consequences of the official status of the ultra-fundamentalist Wahhabi sect in Saudi Arabia, Iraq’s southern neighbor. Saudi Wahhabi clerics have preached and recruited for terror in Iraq; Saudi money has sustained it; the largest number of those who have carried out suicide bombings north of the Saudi-Iraqi border have been Saudi citizens.”

Saudi’s have been funding much of the world terrorism. The Saudi government really has no control over the Wahhabi Mob. It is like the Queen of England actually controlling the Anglican Church. The Mob allows the royal families to stay in power so they can continue their Fascist Islamic agenda without any interference from the West. If the Saudi King actually did anything against this Mob he knows his government would be overthrown.

The Hollywood Culture Takes Over Poltitics

The Hollywood Culture Takes Over - HUMAN EVENTS: “When the culture of Hollywood dominates the political discourse you end up having debates that tell the American people nothing of substance.
Politics becomes a spectacle something like the Academy Awards where the participants show up in their most glamorous attire, mutter a lot of meaningless dialogue, celebrate each other’s celebrity, while the media oglesfrom the sidelines.
The Hollywood-ized debates are stupid. The other night, CNN went a step further and made them asinine. “

Instead of candidates taking part in a political debate it looks more like Hollywood squares.

Comedy spoof on the Ten Commandments show how demented Hollywood is

WorldNetDaily: ‘Jesus’ deflowers virgin sexpot in new comedy: “A new comedy spoof on the Ten Commandments portrays Jesus Christ deflowering a sexy virgin, and is raising some eyebrows in the Christian community.”

Films attacking Christianity are now coming out one after another. Why don’t the perverted cowards of Hollywood ever try it with Islam? They think making fun of the ten commandments and God is funny? Not keeping those commandments is why the world is in the state it is in. Then these same demented people will question why God allows suffering in the world. The real question they might ask themselves is how much longer is God going to allow their blaspheming to continue?

Cities sue gangs in bid to stop violence - Yahoo! News

Cities sue gangs in bid to stop violence - Yahoo! News: “FORT WORTH, Texas - Fed up with deadly drive-by shootings, incessant drug dealing and graffiti, cities nationwide are trying a different tactic to combat gangs: They’re suing them. “

The real answer to the gang problems in the cities will only come when each neighborhood gets together adults who will ban together and patrol their own neighborhoods. When Black Moslem’s were doing that in their neighborhoods it stopped crime cold. When the Mob was controlling their city neighborhoods there was little crime committed outside of what they allowed. That should tell people something. There is only lawlessness in the cities because it is tolerated by the adult men in the community.

Mature adult men simply have to take back control of their streets. Adults in neighborhoods will know who is causing the drug and gang problems but they cannot take on these gangs without being given empowerment as local posses or as a reserve neighborhood police forces. That means police will have to give some power back to the neighborhood through local volunteers helping in local enforcements. A responsible paid neighborhood leader needs to be in charge of each local group of volunteers. That leader should give a full report of what is going on in their neighborhoods to a city police team overseeing each neighborhood actions.

Allowing our cites to continue to be run by drug gangs can only happen when real men have abdicated their responsibility to protect their families. Some will say it will bring law suits and some abuses of power. So what! We can bond the men and deal with those situations when it happens but we simply cannot continue to deal with lawless cities.

The Real Reasons Why Gasoline Will Cost More

The Real Reason Why Gasoline Costs More - Alan Caruba - Jul 29, 07
You’re looking at a world that needs new production estimated at four million barrels per day and it’s not going to happen. You don’t just create production or refining capacity overnight. It requires lots of money, something the free market Big Oil companies have been willing to risk up to now. That’s something Communists don’t do.

There are other options, but right now the Democrats that control the U.S. Congress, led by Speaker Pelosi and Sen. Harry Reid, are howling like moon-besotted coyotes that the United States must become “energy independent.”Congress is refusing to allow known, vast oil reserves in Alaska to be extracted, nor facilitating exploration and extraction of other potentially vast reserves of oil and natural gas off the continental shelf of the United States. Indeed, they want to punish Big Oil for whatever profits they may have garnered from their investments in the Gulf of Mexico.

The vast matrix of insane “environmental” laws and regulations has made it impossible, i.e. unprofitable, to build a single new refinery in the United States since the 1970s. The New York Times recently reported that mechanical breakdowns in U.S. refineries “have created a bottleneck in domestic energy supplies”, helping to drive up the cost of gasoline. Even if an oil company was to begin construction tomorrow, you’re still years away from it coming on line. Instead, the Democrats are wailing about “global warming” and “climate change”, demanding the imposition of “cap and trade carbon credits” and, in general, racing toward the worst possible choices for a nation whose energy needs are being ignored in the name of fraudulent science and pure politics. These are things you need to think about as the cost of a gallon of gasoline goes up at your local gas station or the price of heating oil rises as winter closes in on the northeast and elsewhere.

When gas and heating is over the equivalent of 5 dollars a gallon it will become a critical issue. However at that point it will take 10 years to do anything about it. There are only two things that can prevent $5 gas for the next decade. One is a serious world recession and the other is the end of all the issues like terrorism, environmentalism as well as greed from the oil producing nations.

World recession or depression is a real possibility in the new few years and energy prices could help bring it about. If there is a world downturn the consequences for oil prices will be favorable but the economic costs to people on earth will be even greater than high oil prices. The second possibility will not happen soon enough to benefit people in this decade but a successful war against radical Islam might make for lower oil prices in a decade if we can get Iraq and all other oil production up to its full potential. Environmentalism and lack of refinery issues will also need to be fixed and that will also take a decade or so.

Therefore, if there is not a world downturn expect $5 gas in normal times and $10 gas in times of disruptions for at least the next decade. The political consequences will be immense. People who can do so might start considering moving off grid or where they can use public transportation facilities. If there is a world downturn the consequences for oil prices will be favorable but the economic costs to people on earth will be far greater.

Unless there is some magic breakthrough in energy we will have immense problems in the near future. The main focus on all levels should be to find a solution to the upcoming shortage of cheap energy. Some think that solar will provided the answer to cars. It will not. Due to Global warming hype we will soon have much more expensive electricity and a shortage of electricity will develop as well. At that time you may wish to plug your car into your power plug to charge it but your house will have already used your daily ration. If you want more than your ration to charge your car you can do so but it will cost ten times more per KWH.

The sooner we get serious about these problems the better off we will be. Meanwhile, prepare to pay $100 every time you fill up your gas tank and expect to pay $600 a month to heat your homes in cold states in the winter or expect a depression. A Depression or run away inflation is the likely outcome for many other reasons anyway but when the recovery comes we will still be hit be the same old problems if we have not dealt with the energy issues.

Coal doubters block new wave of power plants

The Cincinnati Post - Coal doubters block new wave of power plants: “As recently as May, U.S. power companies had announced intentions to build as many as 150 new generating plants fueled by coal, which currently supplies about half the nation’s electricity. One reason for the surge of interest in coal was concern over the higher price of natural gas, which has driven up electricity prices in many places. Coal appeared capable of softening the impact since the U.S. has deep coal reserves and prices are low.
But as plans for this fleet of new coal-powered plants move forward, an increasing number are being canceled or development slowed. Coal plants have come under fire because coal is a big source of carbon dioxide, the main gas blamed for global warming, in a time when climate change has become a hot-button political issue.”

Think there are no serious consequences because of those politicians and corporate leaders that are now buying into Al Gore’s junk science? When you start paying much more for electricity and have black outs in the coming heat waves and you have no air conditioning on the hottest days of the year or that new nuclear plant will be built in your backyard you might realize the consequences for stupid solutions to fix non existant global problems aren’t pretty.

Evangelicals’ letter backs PA state

Evangelicals’ letter backs PA state Jerusalem Post
“Many evangelical Christians throughout the United States support a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and seek ‘justice’ for both sides, reads an open letter to US President George W. Bush published in Sunday’s New York Times. “

“According to the letter’s authors, both Israel and the Palestinians had rights to the land of Israel that stretched back “millennia.” Both sides, the letter said, had committed acts of violence. Only a lasting peace agreement, the letter exhorted, would end bloodshed and ensure that each side had a “viable” state. To this end, the letter’s authors expressed their support for the road map peace plan, and endorsed former British prime minister Tony Blair’s efforts in his new role as the Quartet’s Middle East envoy.”

The list of the signatories makes it clear that this letter is from a bunch of replacement theology dominionists. They do not represent those who take the Bible literally. The Bible clearly says the land of Israel was given to descendants of Israel forever. Yet, the letter from them says that the “Palestinians” had a right to the “land of Israel”. They contradict themselves in their own letter! They first call it the “land of Israel” and then say the “land of Israel” also belongs to non Israelites. The solution they endorse is not a solution since Islam is violently opposed to Israel and always will be until Jesus returns. There can be no lasting peace in the Middle East before the return of Jesus!

They allegorize Bible prophecy so that what God says about this issue has no meaning for them. Therefore, they think Christianity through human effort will bring peace to the world and therefore it is their reason for this letter. Their theology is heretical so they take these unbiblical positions and prove how foolish Christians can be that fail to understand their own scriptures.

The war on drugs will lead to fascism

‘War on Drugs: Good for Teens?’ - Frosty Wooldridge - Jul 28, 07: “Wooldridge said, “Fortunately, this country has thousands of wonderful citizens who daily go to areas where there are neighborhoods controlled or even terrorized by gangs. They work long hours, encouraging preteens and others to stay in school, not to use drugs and not join gangs. However, they are burdened mightily by the presence of the negative role model of the drug dealer. Who else at 16 has $300 tennis shoes, lots of gold, nice car and a woman on each arm? This image doubles the work of concerned men and women who are helping. “Why should I study hard, go to school so I can make $25,000 as the assistant manager of a Taco Bell when I can make huge money as a drug dealer now?” is a question asked over and over. In a society ever more focusing on the short term, immediate gratification, it is ever tougher to answer such a question.””

Much of what Wooldridge says is true but I really do not see any real solutions offered here. Prohibition of drugs certainly gave the monetary incentive for illegal activity to develop but it is a bit late now to change that mistake. Even after prohibition on alcohol was removed organized crime remained and so will all these gangs remain if you now legalize all drugs.

Drugs come into this country because people are buying them. Until you deal with that problem there is no solution to the Drug problem. Building a fence might slow the drug traffic some but if there remains high demand for the drugs they will find a way to get them here. Many drugs like Meth are home grown anyway.

There are only two real solutions to all this. One is a fascist police state society where government controls everything and everyone and the other is a moral society where almost all people do what is best for themselves and everyone else. Unfortunately we have departed from the moral path and unless there is some great Christian conversion and revival that solution is not in the cards. That leaves only the other option which is fascism. Certainly the police enforcement agencies are helping to bring that about.

Welcome to the future of the World without Christ. If you come up with some other real solution to the drug problem let me know.

WorldNetDaily: Traffic ticket data shipped to Mexico
The Orange County Superior Court in California is outsourcing the processing of traffic tickets to a California company that sends the information through a Nogales, Mexico, subsidiary, raising public concerns of identity theft and complaints of language problems that allegedly lead to months of administrative errors in processing paperwork.

A Green Sings the Renewable Energy Blues

FOXNews.com - Junk Science: A Green Sings the Renewable Energy Blues - Opinion Rockefeller University’s Jesse Ausubel introduced his new article on renewable energy by openly worrying about “hereticide” — the all-to-common historical phenomenon of putting heretics to death.
As a long-time Green, Ausubel has good reason to be concerned given his article condemns renewable energy as “wrecking” the environment.

“Renewables are not green,” is how Ausubel begins the article published in the International Journal of Nuclear Governance, Economy and Ecology. It’s a remarkable statement coming from someone who beat his fellow Greens to global warming alarmism by at least 10 years.

“But the Green’s loss is a big gain for the rest of us — particularly those interested in sensible energy and environmental policy as opposed to ill-considered, pie-in-the-sky hopes for a renewable energy-powered civilization.

Ausubel calculated the amount of energy produced by various renewable energy sources — including hydroelectric, biomass, wind and solar power — in terms of power output per square meter of land disturbed.”

US sinks North Korean ship with nuclear material

July 23, 2007: “After the attack, US warships raced to the spot where the ship went down where they picked up three lifeboats. Most of the North Korean sailors aboard were either injured or dead. Twenty in all died in the attack. They all bore symptoms of contamination. After the episode, the area was cordoned off and underwater equipment dropped to salvage the cargo from the sunken ship.
All the parties to the incident, the United States, North Korea and Iran, have kept the incident under wraps as the situation in and around the Gulf is inflammable enough to explode into a full-blown Iranian-US clash at the slightest provocation.”

This is the first I have heard of this. I Don’t know if it is true. The report claims that The US sunk a North Koran ship on July 12th near Iran that was carrying nuclear materials.

Think No Evil by Janet Levy

FrontPage magazine.com :: Think No Evil by Janet Levy: “In the words of Canadian columnist Lorne Gunter, “Hate-crimes laws are based on the fallacious premise that we may be punished for our thoughts and feelings, not just our actions. And insisting the state has the ability to look into our hearts and minds and adjust the contents is a very dangerous line to cross. It gives legislators, the courts, and human-rights tribunals far too much power to decide what emotions and beliefs are acceptable and, more ominously, which are not. Such power will inevitably be corrupted to the service of keeping legitimate opposition quiet.”[1]

Continuing his argument, Gunter correctly concludes that hate crime legislation may initially be used against selective instances of perceived bigotry but could potentially expand to silence those with views contrary to prevailing special-interest groups and the fashions of political correctness.”

It’s Time to Worry about Global COOLING

It’s Time to Worry about Global COOLING - Kevin Roeten - Jul 27, 07: “Dr. Kukla(Czechoslovakian Academy of Sciences) say he and many others realize that global warming always precedes an ice age. Each lasts about 100,000 years, punctuated by briefer, warmer periods called interglacials. We are in an interglacial now. This ongoing cycle closely matches cyclic variations in Earth’s orbit around the sun. Kukla says “The relationship is just too clear and consistent to allow reasonable doubt. It’s either that, or climate drives orbit, and that just doesn’t make sense.”

No one knows when a ‘crash’ will occur, but scientists expect it soon. Mainly because the sun’s polar field is now at its weakest since measurements began in the 1950’s. A deep crash last occurred in the 17th century—and it was the Little Ice Age, or the Maunder Minimum. “Having a ‘crash’ would certainly allow us to pin down the sun’s true level of influence on the earth’s climate,” concludes Dr. Weiss. “Then we will be able to act on fact, rather than from fear.”

It’s not likely greenhouse ‘gassers’ will be converted in 12 years. They’ll be busy looking for something humans have done to make it so cold.”

Well they won’t be able to tell us to burn more carbon fuels because by that time there will be no question that CO2 does nothing to cause Global Warming. Perhaps the tree huggers answer to global cooling will be cow worship. They will want cows roaming free on every inch of the earth to produce methane.

Al Gores Ethanol creates the new dead sea

Al Gore, Green revolution, evironmental policy, ethanol, corn, fuel alternatives, energy policy, watershed, midwest, inconvenient truth - HUMAN EVENTS: “All in all, it takes 1.597 gallons of diesel and gasoline used in the corn crop growth, harvesting, shipping of corn to ethanol production, and distribution of ethanol to the consumer for every 1 gallon of ethanol that is produced. And, again, that 1 gallon of ethanol is going to be 20-30% less efficient than the gallon of gasoline it is replacing.
Most of the new ethanol production plants (called dry mill operations) are now being built to use coal as their primary source of power, mostly because the natural gas that was initially used has become so expensive. The coal-fired plants produce twice the emissions and essentially cancel out the global warming benefits of the use of ethanol fuel in vehicles. Putting more E85 vehicles on the road will actually increase greenhouse gases, smog, respiratory ailments, etc.

And, it is the sharp increase in nutrient runoff which is magnifying the green “Dead Zone” in the Gulf.

Al Gore, I apologize for all of these facts. Just look at them as another “Inconvenient Truth.””

As you pointed out there are many reasons why corn based ethanol is not the answer. You missed one big point. Ethanol is driving up the cost of corn and the cost of everything that contains and eats corn. Americans have to pay that cost every time we go to the store. For the poor of the world like in Mexico this is a tremendous hardship.

The problem with environmentalists is that their legislations and their solutions are sometimes founded on junk science or a knee-jerk reactions to their radicals. Therefore, we have the DDT ban that resulted in the death of million of people caused by Malaria to save eagles, and DDT was not the issue. We have fuel additives taken away and substituted with worse additives that polluted much of the ground water in the US. They are now pushing Ethanol which does not save energy, costs more and does much more environment and human damage then gas. Oversight of the know-it-alls that force this stuff on us has been lacking because politicians are afraid to take any stance that does not appear green. Therefore, the radicals drive the political action and the consequences is radically predictable. If we allow this with the CO2 reduction hysteria we will rue the day.

EVOLUTION enriches the Popes understanding of life and being

EVOLUTION & GOD DO MIX: POPE By BILL SANDERSON International News Latest World News Current: “July 26, 2007 — Pope Benedict XVI says the theory of evolution is backed by strong scientific proof - but the theory does not answer life’s ‘great philosophical question.’
Benedict told 400 priests at a two-hour event that he’s puzzled by the current debate in the United States and his native Germany over creationism and evolution.
Debaters wrongly present the two sides ‘as if they were alternatives that are exclusive - whoever believes in the creator could not believe in evolution, and whoever asserts belief in evolution would have to disbelieve in God,’ the pontiff said.
‘This contrast is an absurdity, because there are many scientific tests in favor of evolution, which appears as a reality that we must see and enriches our understanding of life and being. “

It might enrich the Pope’s strange understanding of life and being but if the Pope believes that he desended from an ape his Christian understanding certainly does not enriching mine.

Gorbachev says US suffers from a winner complex

Interfax: U.S.-led policy complicating situation worldwide - Gorbachev: “MOSCOW. July 27 (Interfax) - Former USSR President Mikhail
Gorbachev has said that the complicated situation in the world is
largely due to the position of the United States, which suffers from
‘winner complex.’”

I know Gorbachev can’t understand this because of his godless globalist worldview. The US has been trying to stop evil people from obtaining nuclear weapons so that the earth has a chance to deal with its problems before everyone is threatening everyone else with nuclear annihilation. If not the US then who can deal with this real world problem? I am sure you would say the UN but the UN is totally corrupt and it is run by power blocks that can block any action against their own nuclear ambitions. Only the US withing the UN has the military power to enforce UN actions anyway. Take the US out of the equation and I can guarantee several nuclear exchanges against major world cities within a decade.

Threats against those who disagree with climate change hype

Inside the Beltway - Nation/Politics - The Washington Times, America’s Newspaper: “
The head of the Environmental Protection Agency says he will investigate a threatening letter sent by the leader of an EPA-member group, vowing to “destroy” the career of a climate skeptic.

‘It is my intention to destroy your career as a liar,’ Mr. Eckhart wrote. ‘If you produce one more editorial against climate change, I will launch a campaign against your professional integrity. I will call you a liar and charlatan to the Harvard community of which you and I are members. I will call you out as a man who has been bought by Corporate America. Go ahead, guy. Take me on.’”

The truth is that those who disagree with the climate change hysteria are often viciously attacked. Why? The truth is a threat to their gravy train or agenda. The guy is out of control, he should be fired.

Minimum Wage, Maximum Trouble, Minimum common sense, Maximum lack of compassion

FOXNews.com - Minimum Wage, Maximum Trouble - Opinion: “Raising the minimum wage seems an obvious way to help low-income workers. Their wages go up and they earn more money. How could raising the minimum wage possibly hurt them?
Because the workers who will earn the new minimum wage after it rises are not the same workers who earned the old minimum wage before it went up. Since it costs more to hire workers, employers will hire fewer of them. And they will change who they hire for the positions they keep.
If the government forces companies to pay higher wages, more skilled and productive workers will apply for their positions. Given the choice between hiring an unskilled worker and one with more experience, companies virtually always hire the more productive employee. Employers will replace many of the unskilled workers who work for the minimum wage today with more skilled workers who would have earned more than $5.15 an hour regardless.
Many economic studies demonstrate that employers respond in exactly this manner. “

Get real! The workers that you say will be replaced in your article are obviously illegals. So citizens of the US should not make a living wage? You do not replace unskilled workers with skilled ones by increasing the minimum wage by a few bucks over 15 years. What skilled worker is going to work for $5.85 an hour today? You might replace a few illegals with US unskilled workers but what is wrong with that?

We have had minimum wage increases for decades now with no negative impact yet you guys keep coming out with the same tired arguments. Lets face it, some employers will always pay the least they can get away with and they can always get away with doing that because about one fifth of the people in the US have IQ’s of less then 90. So should these Americans who have an IQ in the 80 to 90 range and are not blessed to be in your IQ range of 110 - 130 not make a living wage for their families? Should they only make 10 percent of what you make?

All worth with you guys is based on skill derived from your intelligence that was given to you by God. You did not do a thing to achieve that intelligence. In spite of your gift of intelligence you display that you do not have a lick of common sense or compassion for people less gifted then yourselves. It is the intelligent people that have now brought this nation to the financial and moral state it is now in.

A living minimum wage should really be $10 an hour and then we would not have to help pay for these less gifted people through very humiliating back door welfare programs. Too bad if you will have to pay 25c more for your big mac, you can afford to pay the real costs. Why should government taxpayers subsidise your eating habits by helping to support the people that are making your hamburgers because you will not support a living wage for them?

Reefer madness and junk science conclusions

FOXNews.com - Study: Even Infrequent Use of Marijuana Increases Risk of Psychosis by 40 Percent - Health News Current Health News Medical News

LONDON — Using marijuana seems to increase the chance of becoming psychotic, researchers report in an analysis of past research that reignites the issue of whether pot is dangerous.
The new review suggests that even infrequent use could raise the small but real risk of this serious mental illness by 40 percent.
Doctors have long suspected a connection and say the latest findings underline the need to highlight marijuana’s long-term risks. The research, paid for by the British Health Department, is being published Friday in medical journal The Lancet.
“The available evidence now suggests that cannabis is not as harmless as many people think,” said Dr. Stanley Zammit, one of the studies authors and a lecturer in the department of psychological medicine at Cardiff University.
The researchers said they couldn’t prove that marijuana use itself increases the risk of psychosis, a category of several disorders with schizophrenia being the most commonly known.
There could be something else about marijuana users, “like their tendency to use other drugs or certain personality traits, that could be causing the psychoses,” Zammit said.

I do not know why anyone would jump to the conclusion that marijuana was the cause for the increased psychosis unless they were looking for something to support views against the use of marijuana to begin with. They say in the study that the study does not prove that there is a connection that marijuana in itself brings the increased psychoses. Yet Dr Zammit suggests in this article that the cause of the increased level of psychoses is caused by marijuana?

All the study really proves is that people who are inclined to use marijuana have a higher level of psychoses. I could tell you that without even having a study. Those who do not use marijuana are not going to use any other illegal substances either. Most of these will not abuse themselves with legal substances as well. I bet those who sniff glue have a higher level of psychoses as do those who use tobacco and those who drink to access.

My point is, when one half of the population is using marijuana to one degree or another and still they are arresting them and spending many billions on enforcement you would think they could fund a study proving the dangers for why it is that marijuana is illegal. Instead, we get a study that is about equal to saying that those who eat garlic get higher kissing rejections.

Russia is going back to the future

OpinionJournal - Global View: “It does not matter here, as the Kremlin’s apologists are so fond of pointing out, that Mr. Putin is wildly popular in Russia: Popularity is what competent despots get when they destroy independent media, stoke nationalistic fervor with military buildups and the cunning exploitation of the Church, and ride a wave of petrodollars to pay off the civil service and balance their budgets. Nor does it matter that Mr. Putin hasn’t re-nationalized the ‘means of production’ outright; corporatism was at the heart of Hitler’s economic policy, too.
What matters, rather, is nicely captured in a remark by Russian foreign ministry spokesman Mikhail Kamynin regarding Britain’s decision to expel the four diplomats. ‘I don’t understand the position of the British government,’ Mr. Kamynin said. ‘It is prepared to sacrifice our relations in trade and education for the sake of one man.’”

Putin is taking Russia back to the future.

The real costs of Global warming hype

Carbon cap and trade, carbon tax, china, asia, gore, pelosi, kerry, kyoto, opec - HUMAN EVENTS: “Global warming alarmists are now pushing a scheme that will transfer money to the rich from the poor, dramatically increase energy prices, increase taxes, cause actual harm to the environment, eliminate Americans jobs and assist America’s strategic adversaries to build more energy production facilities. Large investment banks are adopting it. Brokers are seeking to cash in of what some suggest will be a $72 billion market by 2010. “

“The irony is that if the Kyoto treaty was fully implemented, the decline in world temperatures would be less than 2/10ths of one degree over nearly 50 years at a cost, according to one British study, of some $50 trillion in expenditures in the industrialized countries. Setting up C02 capture facilities in just the United States would require an infrastructure some 2-3 times that of the current refinery, distribution and transportation of petroleum products, whether we are speaking of new coal or natural gas fired power plants.”

There is simply no nice way to put this, there is too much at stake to sugar coat this problem. Those pushing the global warming hype and carbon cap and trade agenda have become a grave danger to the world. They will needlessly help bring about poverty and a world depression that could cause the death of millions. They need to be removed from public office at all levels and removed from all corporate boards.

Ted Baehr’s Movieguide

MovieGuide.org - Ted Baehr’s Movieguide: “Oprah Winfrey is touting ‘The Secret,’ a popular video that preaches the empty promise that the power of positive thinking is the new best cure yet for all your problems. Contrary to the tsunami of promotion, the message of “The Secret” is not new but as old as the demonic false promises to mankind in the Garden of Eden.

Once upon a time when I was on the ‘Oprah Winfrey Show,’ she brought onto the program the man she called her guru, Eric Butterworth, Senior Minister of the occult Unity Center of New York City, who explained to the audience that each person is God. I had attended Unity Center with my father and grew up in this “we are all god” community. My parents had immersed themselves in studying the musings of Edgar Cayce, Mary Baker Eddy, Madame Blavatsky, Georg Ivanovitch Gurdjieff, and all the others who espouse that we could think and be rich, and my father’s bed was surrounded by “the secret of all ages” books, many of which I read on my way to Dartmouth College, Cambridge University and NYU School of Law.Oprah Winfrey is touting “

Many people think that Oprah is a Christian but they do not know “The Secret”.

Freedom-snatching Commie-Commissions in Canada

WorldNetDaily: Freedom-snatching Commie-Commissions: “Now, there are many things I’d like to say about the state of free speech in Canada, but Americans really only need to be clear about three central points.
In the first place, so far no Commie-Commission in Canada has ever actually gone after the real hate mongers. You know, the ones who protest Israel’s right to exist, who have threatened to annihilate all Westerners – and have actively participated as enemy combatants against Canadian troops in Afghanistan, only to come back to Canada for ’sanctuary’ and socialized medicine.
Everybody knows they exist in Canada. The CBC even did a news report on one such ‘terrorist’ family, but never once has a commissioner investigated them; there haven’t even been any complaints filed that I know of.
The second point is uniquely ironic. The Commie-Commissions have apparently decided they will defend two groups at the expense of everyone else’s constitutional rights. But the grand irony is these two protected groups actually hate each other.
I’m speaking, of course, of homosexuals and Muslims.”

This is also the enforcement we will get if hate speech laws are passed in the US.

Obama hails a unicorn, Ann Coulter

WorldNetDaily: Obama hails a unicorn: “If three prominent articles in the Treason Times isn’t enough to convince Hillary that Bush won the 2000 election, forget the White House: ABC ought to hire her to replace Rosie O’Donnell on ‘The View.’ I know that’s a big seat to fill, but maybe she can finally convince Elizabeth Hasselbeck that 9/11 was an inside job.”

Out-of-control British teens the worst behaved in Europe

‘Out-of-control’ British teens the worst behaved in Europe the Daily Mail: “British teenagers are the worst behaved in Europe, a report has revealed.
They are more likely to binge-drink, take drugs, have sex at a young age and start fights.
The report, from a think-tank closely linked to Labour, says the collapse of family life is at least partly to blame.
It means youngsters follow the example set by their friends rather than guidance from their parents. “

“The IPPR also says British adults are becoming afraid of trying to curb out-of-control youngsters. We are less likely than our European counterparts to confront teenagers about antisocial behaviour and vandalism.”

You Brits simply do not get it. You make it against the law for adults to physically discipline their children and then you wonder why British adults are afraid to curb out-of-control youngsters. Italian parents still know how to deal with out-of-control kids and the statistics show that their method works. Your stats prove that your methods of child raising do not work. You might try dealing with your out-of-control nanny control freak government that legislates a society that brings about the rebellion you now have.

Is this still America or is it Amerika on its way to becoming Amexicana?

‘Is this still America?’ - Guest - Jul 25, 07: “Now isn’t that interesting, I guess it is all related and since they have called us the wave of hate I will have to assume the hate speech law is aimed at us as well. Now if that does not take the cake, our senators are in Washington trying to figure out a way to take away free speech from their citizens while trying to legalize people who broke into our country and hailing their marches and demands as the next civil rights movement. I have a question, is this still America? Because from where I am sitting it sure as hell does not look like it.”

It certainly is not the America that our grandparents once knew. I think we may have to spell it with a k “Amerika” or maybe we should wait until after the NAU and then we can say we live in Amexicana.
