Pennsylvania want to make Interstates toll roads

WPSU: Congressmen come up with plan to nix I-80 tolls (2007-07-31): “Peterson told Public Radio Capitol News’ Jen Rehill, ‘The federal government didn’t intend the interstate system to be tolled; it was built as a free highway to crisscross and connect this country together and allow goods and services to move in an affordable fashion. I think tolling our interstate system is wrong.’”

Lets get this right. The people paid for the Interstate with gas taxes. The gas taxes have been misused and fund other things besides roads so the Legislators now want toll roads to pay for the roads that we are already paying for with our gas taxes? The funds the toll roads will collect will largely be used to pay for the bureaucracy that manages the toll roads and collects the tolls!

These people are nuts and we are nuts if we keep these people in office.
