PRESS RELEASE: NLPC Blasts Wal-Mart for Forcing Its “Politics” on Suppliers Through New Environmental Mandates: “Falls Church, Virginia- The National Legal and Policy Center (NLPC) today criticized Wal-Mart for pressuring its suppliers to combat the unproven global warming threat by asking them to disclose their carbon dioxide emissions. Wal-Mart recently announced that it is partnering with the London-based Carbon Disclosure Project, a coalition of 315 institutional investors that purportedly controls $41 trillion in assets, to develop strategies for its suppliers to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Wal-Mart claims it is not trying to force its 60,000 suppliers to cut emissions as a condition for receiving lucrative contracts.
However, previous statements by Wal-Mart officials have made it clear that companies that toe its environmental agenda will get preferential treatment. When Wal-Mart announced in 2005 its so-called sustainability agenda in which it vowed to spend $500 million per year to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions, company CEO Lee Scott said, “Our most direct impact will be on our suppliers.” Likewise, Tim Yatsko, Wal-Mart senior vice president of transportation, stated, “We have made it clear that all things being equal, we’ll give business to operators who show they’re fully engaged” in promoting fuel efficiency and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. One of the goals of Wal-Mart’s sustainability agenda is to establish a program “that would show preference to suppliers who set their own goals and aggressively reduce their own emissions.””
Wal-Mart like most global companies is in bed with the global governors. They will soon buy from only those with RFID chips and those who meet their green standards. What does this mean to you. Higher prices and more products from China and third world countries because they will be exempt.
So, like it or not, you are going to pay for this global warming hype every time you buy something. If you do not take action soon to stop this global warming insanity you are just allowing the global governors and their brainwashed control freaks to rob you blind

Global warming is scientific fact. Obama is not a socialist. Keep up with all your lies. No one in their right mind believes you. You are becoming more and more in the minority on a daily basis. Global warming is not fact up until a decade ago now it actually is cooling. Man made global warming is not fact. It is warming on Mars and other planets. Rather than me repeating the arguments here go to my categories sections in my sidebar and select “Global warming” If you can read many of those articles and still believe in global warming you are seriously beyond help. 31,000 scientists have signed a petition saying that Global warming is not a threat. I suppose they are all out of their mind. Liberal’s arguments never address the facts they just attack the messenger. I see that you are no exception.
Obama is certainly a socialist. His history proves he is a socialist, the church he attended proves that he is socialists his congressional voting record indicates he is a socialist, his agenda is socialistic and he is endorsed by the Communist party.
