Britain and Argentina both claim sovereignty over the small archipelago, off Argentina’s Atlantic coast. More than 900 soldiers and sailors were killed in a short war over the territory in 1982, sparked when Argentine forces occupied the main islands.”

This is the sleeper story of the decade. Britain is not going to be able to contain Argentine for much longer. The days of the British empire are long over. There will be another Falkland war and Britain will have to withdraw or threaten the use of nuclear weapons. I don’t think they should want to do that. Argentine could develop nukes very quickly. This provocation by Britain is a very stupid step by a increasingly demented nation that still has occasional delusions of grandeur.
