There is some wisdom in waiting, as Bauer and Perkins are doing, to let the process work. But the Romney supporters, I fear, will be judged by history as having sold-out their Christian birthright for a mess of Mormon porridge.
And all of them have to answer this question: If all they do is follow, then what makes them leaders?

Gee, I think I said the same thing over a week ago. They want to pick what they think will be a winner so it makes them look good rather then to back one of their own who is Christian Conservative because he might not win.

If Mike Huckabee starts looking like a winner watch how they all of a sudden get enlightened about him. What makes these people “leaders” is the secular media. If I was Mike Huckabee these “Christian leaders” that would not support a true Chrisitan for office would never be on my team.

I think he just about addressed the issue from a Far Right/American Patriot point of view. Many people in the heartland of America think like him. Of course for the most part what he says is correct. Still I do not know how we go from here back to there without great upheaval. It is not as simple as he makes it sound. How do you go back to US constitutional rule and 18th century morality when the nation has already bought into godless socialism and globalism? We are now dependent on other nations for almost everything we buy? How do you suddenly change that without causing a massive depression, a civil war and the rise of despicable despots?

The main reason I present this article is to show people the views of many in the heartland of America. I know what is going to happen if the elitists who control the Far Left push the heartland people too far. These people are not wrong, what happened in America should never have happened, but it is very difficult to get 10,000 wildcats back in the cage once they have been let out and are roaming in the cities and coast-lands.

The truth is that all this happened because Americans let it happen. How they can now be convinced that global elitism is enslaving them and how to do that without starting a civil war is beyond me. However, that is the sorry future for America if the amoral Far left succeeds in pushing all the debauchery it desires on the people in the heartland that still believe in truth, justice and the American way.

The American engineers say the dam could collapse at any moment and the Iraqi’s say the dam is still safe. Any other dam in the world in this condition would have the lake drawn down. I am sure if the Iraqi’s lose their bet and the dam fails they will just blame it all on the United States.

Its time for some conservatives to get a reality check. The type candidate they want is not electable since most of the country and most Christians are not as far right as them. All a third party candidate as far right as they want would do is split the conservative vote so Hillary would be a shoe in. They then can look forward to a socialist anti Christian administration controlling all bodies of the government. That is a recipe for the break up of the Union. Maybe that’s what they really want. Mike Huckabee or Fred Thompson are the only chance Christians have of not living under socialism and thought police tyranny in the short term and civil insurrection in the long term.

Its not a either or situation. I want a politician that does not use illegal drugs and that makes good decisions. A politician who makes bad personal decisions and breaks the laws of the country will not make good decisions for others while in public office. Schwarzenegger has proved that with the bills he recently signed. Why should you care that someone is in office who abuses drugs? Because he or she will not have normal reasoning abilities. For example, the politician might say Marijuana is not a drug but the laws of the state He governs says it is a drug and prosecutes people who use and traffic it.

Then they will tend to congregate with like minded people. We see this is already happening to some degree in city versus rural populations and coastal populations verses heartland. How this will ultimately break into separate American Unions is very speculative but it will happen or else you will have the perception if not the actuality of tyranny of one America over the other.

You miss the obvious in your article. You say the economy has expanded at an average rate of 2.7 percent for the last 6 years but what you do not say is that inflation has been running higher than that. Therefore, the average standard of living has gone down. This is especially true for working class people and those on fixed incomes where inflation due to home costs, food, energy prices, medical, local taxes and insurance have been rising at least 4 times higher than the economy has been expanding.

When you write articles on the economy try being a little less myopic. Things are not getting better for most Americans. Technically it might not be called a recession but for all practical purposes most Americans have been living in a real depression for years.

Though there is no obvious relationship between global temperature and drought in southern California, the alarmists nevertheless advocate the quixotic task of preventing drought and wildfires by controlling greenhouse-gas emissions.
Global warming, it seems, also makes a good excuse for federal and state bureaucrats and politicians who have failed to properly manage high-risk areas, at least in part because of pressure from anti-logging and anti-development environmental groups.

Drought and forest fires happen. We have no reason to think that we can do anything to prevent the former, but we know that can do a lot about preventing and controlling the latter — if only the environmentalists will let us.

There has always been climatic events but now global warming hysterics use each natural weather event as proof that there is global warming. The dog is wagging the tail. The cause for these fires is arson, two much dried vegetation and wind, If people are not going to allow controlled burning in the valleys they should not be building houses on top of ridges that are filled with dried brush. Duh! They know the brush dries out every year! Under these conditions it was not a matter of if it would happen, it is just a matter of where and when. These fires are nothing new in California and it has absolutely nothing to do with any global warming. People claiming this need a reality check or they are deliberately pushing a fraud.

Even if man was causing the earth to warm at best man’s conservation activities could only cool the earth .2 degrees in the next 100 years. So people need to get that hard fact in their head. Man cannot do anything significant to cool the earth. Global warming legislation is not going to change anything for anyone except make everyone but the elite broke and enslaved to global governance.

Why the fires happened this year probably has more to do with the abominations taking place in California. Remember Job’s house? Who had the control of the wind and who allowed it? When California gets its earthquakes are they going to blame that on global warming as well? I have news, earthquakes are coming because people in California live near active fault lines but they choose to live in a place of high risks. So when the earthquakes occur as they must, they should blame themselves.
