The six ministries identified as being under investigation by the committee are led by: Paula White, Joyce Meyer, Creflo Dollar, Eddie Long, Kenneth Copeland and Benny Hinn. Three of the six – Benny Hinn, Kenneth Copeland and Creflo Dollar – also sit on the Board of Regents for the Oral Roberts University. “

To have 61,000 say they don’t follow these televangelists closely and for 64,000 to respond they think negitively is uneducated. How could any of these people know what they think of these people if they don’t examine the facts? How about the fact that Joyce Meyer feeds millions throughout the world. If she is seen with nice things, she is a best selling author. As anyone, she has and retains the right to spend the money she earns anyway she sees fit. So, just get the facts before making judgements.

I don’t know what your reading but it is not my post? I see nothing about 61,000 or 64,000 on my post.

Joyce Meyer might be feeding people but feeding people poison mixed with the Word is deadly.

Nobody cares if she lives like a queen off of her book royalties. What I and the Senate may be concerned with is her tax exempt status.

I just say to all involved please have your facts straight and know that you know that you know these ministers are doing something wrong before demeaning their character and ministries. The bible says touch not my anointed and do my prophet no harm. You could get in some serious trouble with God if you cause unjust trouble for his people. Jesus says the least you do to his little ones you have also done it to him. Also remember the bible says how can you get the mote out of your brother’s eye and you have a beam in your eye. We have all sinned and come short of the glory of God and need to get back to serious prayer.

I am one of the 64,000 that believe these televangelists should be investigated. I have watched some of them (Benny Hinn, for example) and I believe that they pray on the poor and the deperate in the name of religion.

This on going Religious “TAX FREE” blanket business has to be stopped and make them to pay the taxes on their revenue they make. Where as the rest of us “Hardworking American people” trying to meet the ends every month and paying heavy taxes to cover these religious scoundrels abuse of using that “Tax free loop hole”.
Congress should write a constituition to make pay taxes by every religious groups in the UNITED SATES.

I am gald finally “The TRUE GOD” has opened the “EYE” to expose these dishonest people.

What if we know they are doing something wrong like preaching another gospel? She preaches the heretical prosperity Word of Faith heresy. She is a Copeland clone.

The Word Faith leaders love to tell you they are God’s anointed and that is where you learned that verse “touch not my anointed and do my prophet no harm”. She is not a prophet and everyone born of Christ is anointed. The very fact that these people place themselves on another level where you think she gets direct revelation from God should tell you something.

The passage you talk about “as you did to the least of these my brethren” is talking to those who survived the tribulation and His brethren are the Jews who went through the tribulation. This is the sheep and goat judgment to determine what Gentiles alive will be worthy to enter the Kingdom on earth. It is a passage often taken out of context but it has no meaning for the Church age.

That is a prime example of what Word people do. You pick and choose passages like sound bites with no understanding of the proper usage of the passage.

I am not even sure that Joyce is a brother she might be one of them wolves. Being a woman she should not be in her teaching position to start with.

In any case, Paul said there would be false teachers and he made it clear that the Church should judge their teaching. The log and the sliver is not talking about exposing false teachers.

We need to get back to the word of God because too many prayers being said today are selfish, and they conflict with scripture.

Once a person accepts Christ they are not short of the glory of God! That passage was talking about why people need to get saved in the first place.

My suggestion to you is that you stop quoting sound bites that you do not understand and start reading the Bible in context without Word of Faith glasses on.

I think that these ministries should be investigated. If they are doing the right thing and “following the laws of the land” then they have nothing worry about. On the other hand if they are misusing then they need to be brought to justice. there is nothing done in darkness that won’t be brought to light.
