Is Marriage now unnecessary?

They can do it God’s way and have a more abundant life or they can think they know better than Him and reap the consequences.

Many young adults think it’s a good idea to live together to “test drive” a
potential spouse in order to insure that they are “compatible.” While such logic
may seem practical to some, statistics show that such relationships usually end
in tears and heartache. While some of these couples intend to eventually get
married, the reality is that cohabiting couples break up far more than married
couples, and couples who cohabit before marriage are more likely to get divorced
after marriage. Research conducted by Rutgers University’s National Marriage
Project indicates that couples who live together before marriage are 46 percent
more likely to divorce and significantly more likely to experience domestic
violence within their relationships
