Bank of America has the most arrogant phone staff that I have ever encountered. Once when I noticed that they were charging me large fees for several months on a checking account that I had since changed to a non fee account. I called them trying to correct their error and get back my money.

After playing the phone game with their first line of defense and finding no one who would give me back my money no matter how I explained the issue. I asked to speak to the supervisor of the first line of defense supervisor who told me that it was my fault for not checking the monthly bank statements. After I pointed out to her that their own bank policy allows 60 days for me to inform them of errors. She reluctantly agreed to refund only two months fees. She also sarcastically said she would flag my account (indicating basically to me that I got something that I should not have and that I better not try something like that again). The fees were never refund to me even after her promise! Needless to say I moved my account to another bank and I will never bank with Bank of America again. It is my opinion that this bank is un-American and is out of control.

I also would like you to look closely at the graph in the article. The earth has not warmed anymore at all for the past decade. Now it looks like the solar output of the sun has decreased. Who knows how cold it might get? This data was for last year but we are still having record cold in many places on earth right now. Also sun spot solar activity is almost nil and if solar activity does not increase it will fit theories that indicate that we are heading into a 160 year cooling cycle.

Will people at least tell the legislators to hold off on their CO2 legislation before they cost us many billions of dollars for no reason and stop electric power plants run on coal from being built.

The big future danger to the earth could be global cooling because that effects the growing seasons of crops and if the earth stays this cool it will require more energy to heat our homes.

All four major global temperature tracking outlets (Hadley, NASA’s GISS, UAH, RSS) have released updated data. All show that over the past year, global temperatures have dropped precipitously.A compiled list of all the sources can be seen here. The total amount of cooling ranges from 0.65C up to 0.75C — a value large enough to wipe out nearly all the warming recorded over the past 100 years. All in one year’s time. For all four sources, it’s the single fastest temperature change ever recorded, either up or down.

Scientists quoted in a past DailyTech article link the cooling to reduced solar activity which they claim is a much larger driver of climate change than man-made greenhouse gases. The dramatic cooling seen in just 12 months time seems to bear that out. While the data doesn’t itself disprove that carbon dioxide is acting to warm the planet, it does demonstrate clearly that more powerful factors are now cooling it.

Let’s hope those factors stop fast. Cold is more damaging than heat.

Goldberg’s focus is is perfectly timed. After generations of misappropriating the word “liberal” and thoroughly discrediting a word that classically applies better to George Washington than to George McGovern, the American Left has reclaimed its roots by attempting to resurrect the euphemism of “progressive” to describe itself.This would seem a good public relations move. Everyone is for “progress,” and all anyone remembers about the Progressives from high school history class is that they were for food safety standards, banning child labor, breaking up predatory monopolies and reforming slumlords.

But as Goldberg points out, America’s turn-of-the-century progressives were the direct intellectual forebears of 1930s fascism, and many of those who lived that long actively supported both the Italian and German “experiments.”

The Progressives and fascists both admired Bismarck’s welfare state, though the collapse of Christianity in Europe was replaced by a religion of the state, while the Social Gospel — the means for perfecting the masses — became dominant in America.

The Progressives’ variety, Goldberg writes, was “nice and for your own good … a sort of Christian fascism. … But liberals often forget that the Progressives were also imperialists, at home and abroad. They were the authors of Prohibition, the Palmer Raids, eugenics, loyalty oaths, and, in its modern incarnation, what many would call ’state capitalism.’”

As Goldberg points out, both fascists like Italy’s Benito Mussolini and progressives like Woodrow Wilson claimed the same intellectual forebears, and it is utterly specious to posit that modern conservatives and fascists have any intellectual roots in common. Conservatives simply draw no inspiration from Hegel, Nietzsche or Rousseau; fascists and progressives do — and Wilson and Mussolini expressly did.

Pat sees great danger for those who get in the middle of the new rise of ethnic nationalism in the world. If America wants to be bogged down in one war after the next the best way to do that is to take sides in each ethnic group’s call for their own nation state. But these facts will not stop the politicians from passing carbon legislations that will put new taxes on everything because they see this as a means to an end for global world control. If they really want to free us from foreign oil extortion they would allow the development of the oil and coal we have and break up the illegal OPEC cartel. Add to that the fact that it is not environmentally friendly to use food for fuel and the impact this will have on the cost of everything and it is lunacy.

Corn that traded around $2 a bushel just two years ago is now well over $5 a bushel. The impact ripples through the food chain of milk, butter, eggs, flour, pasta and everything else, because dairy cattle, beef cattle, poultry and swine depend on the corn for their feed. When chicken feed doesn’t cost chicken feed anymore, then neither does anything else.Other grains, like wheat, are also at record highs because farmers are planting less wheat and more corn, thanks to the ethanol incentives. Less supply, plus more world demand, means higher prices for wheat products, too, from flour to bread to pasta.

Full-scale food riots may arise in some parts of the world, as more and more grain is diverted into fuel production.

The Earth Policy Institute reports that ethanol-related food protests occurred last year in Mexico, Italy, Pakistan and Indonesia. A price-driven stampede killed three and injured 31 at a supermarket in China.

“We are witnessing the beginning of one of the great tragedies of history,” the EPI proclaimed in January. “The United States, in a misguided effort to reduce its oil insecurity by converting grain into fuel for cars, is generating global food insecurity on a scale never seen before.”

Professor Nouriel Roubini of New York University’s Stern School of Business, gives one of the most thought out likely scenarios on our financial crises that I have read. After his 12 steps to financial disaster play out and there are $ten-trillion in loses, he says that our government will intervene. He also suggests that if our government does do not keep the trust of foreigners while intervening the end result will be very inflationary.

What Professor Roubini does not address is that the US is already losing trust and more loss of trust is almost certain. He also does not address the issue that the inflation that will come as a result of that loss of trust in the dollar will be much more damaging to our country than the coming recession.

Recently, Professor Roubini’s scenarios have been dire enough to make
the flesh creep. But his thinking deserves to be taken seriously. He
first predicted a US recession in July 2006*. At that time, his view
was extremely controversial. It is so no longer. Now he states that
there is “a rising probability of a ‘catastrophic’ financial and
economic outcome”**. The characteristics of this scenario are, he
argues: “A vicious circle where a deep recession makes the financial
losses more severe and where, in turn, large and growing financial
losses and a financial meltdown make the recession even more severe.”Prof Roubini is even fonder of lists than I am. Here are his 12 - yes, 12 - steps to financial disaster.”

This, he suggests, is the “nightmare scenario” keeping Ben Bernanke
and colleagues at the US Federal Reserve awake. It explains why, having
failed to appreciate the dangers for so long, the Fed has lowered rates
by 200 basis points this year. This is insurance against a financial
meltdown.”
“Is this kind of scenario at least plausible? It is. Furthermore, we
can be confident that it would, if it came to pass, end all stories
about “decoupling”. If it lasts six quarters, as Prof Roubini warns,
offsetting policy action in the rest of the world would be too little,
too late.

When all these things happen just keep thanking yourself that you voted in the Black Messiah that established fascist like socialism in America.

On Sunday, Kosovo declared independence and was recognized by the
European Union and President Bush. But this is not the end of the
story. It is only the preface to a new history of the Balkans, a region
that has known too much history.

By intervening in a civil war to aid the secession of an ancient
province, to create a new nation that has never before existed and, to
erect it along ethnic, religious and tribal lines, we have established
a dangerous precedent. Muslim and Albanian extremists are already
talking of a Greater Albania, consisting of Albania, Kosovo and the
Albanian-Muslim sectors of Serbia, Montenegro and Macedonia.

If these Albanian minorities should demand the right to secede and
join their kinsmen in Kosovo, on what grounds would we oppose them? The
inviolability of borders? What if the Serb majority in the Mitrovica
region of northern Kosovo, who reject Albanian rule, secede and call on
their kinsmen in Serbia to protect them?

The ice caps apparently are net melting and most of the earth is having the coldest winter in decades. The recent melting was just a minor climate abnormality and now ice on the poles is above normal. So are we going to allow the politicians to continue on their path to tax everyone trillions of dollars to stop the melting of the ice caps that are not melting at all?
It is amazing how difficult it is to turn around hyped lies of people with their own global agenda, even with scientific facts.

NEW evidence has cast doubt on claims that the world’s ice-caps are melting, it emerged last night.

Satellite data shows that concerns over the levels of sea ice may have been premature.
It was feared that the polar caps were vanishing because of the effects
of global warming. But figures from the
respected US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration show that
almost all the “lost” ice has come back.
Ice levels which had shrunk from 13million sq km in January 2007 to
just four million in October, are almost back to their original levels.
Figures show that there is nearly a third more ice in Antarctica than
is usual for the time of year.

science curriculum that is relevant and current if it doesn’t deal with
the science behind climate change,” Simitian said. “This is a
phenomenon of global importance and our kids ought to understand the
science behind that phenomenon.” The state Senate approved the
bill, SB 908, Jan. 30 by a 26-13 vote. It heads now to the state
Assembly. Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger has taken numerous actions to
reduce global warming, but he has yet to weigh in on Simitian’s bill.

Other Republicans in the Capitol, however, are not happy about the
proposal.
Some say the science on global warming isn’t clear, while others worry
the bill would inject environmental propaganda into classrooms.
“I find it disturbing that this mandate to teach this theory is not
accompanied by a requirement that the discussion be science-based and
include a critical analysis of all sides of the subject,” said Sen. Tom
McClintock, R-Thousand Oaks, during the Senate debate.

Minnesota District Court, alleging threats and intimidation by Obama’s
staff.
Sinclair, who says he is willing to submit to a polygraph test to validate his claims, will now get his chance – thanks to a website offering $10,000 for the right to record it and $100,000 to Sinclair if he passes.

The real sad thing about this is that any front runner for the President of the United State could even remotely be believed to have done such things. Obama has admitted to cocaine use so all this becomes plausible. Does Obama’s past life display the good moral character we need in the white house? Why would anyone believe he has changed? Russia has stressed its opposition to any decision on Kosovo’s
status that is not accepted by Serbia. It has warned that recognition
of Kosovo by the United States and other nations would encourage
separatists in the former Soviet Union, across Europe and around the world.

Russia is widely expected to block recognition of Kosovo in the United Nations and continue backing traditional ally Serbia.
President Vladimir Putin
said Friday that Russia would not “ape” the West, indicating it would
not immediately recognize long-standing independence claims of
pro-Russian separatist regions in ex-Soviet Georgia.

The Russians are correct this is going to make the whole region unstable. I think NATO is making a huge mistake and also building the foundations for a new cold war. When was the last time US foreign policy make sense in any crises area of the world?. It won’t start here.

Seattle Post-Intelligencer photographer Joshua Trujillo rejected the fake vs. fanatic choice, noting that people often arrive early and unprepared to see their favorite candidate, standing for hours to get the best position. “There are always people that faint. Guaranteed,” Trujillo said. “When somebody has to stand at one spot, at a view up front of their candidate, and they wait hours upon hours with no water, no food, it’s expected and understandable.”

The two party system in America has failed Christian Americans. It is time that we look in a new direction. If this becomes a four man race anything is possible. Remember, nations generally get the leader they deserve. If Christians and Conservatives vote for Obama or McCain and help either one of them to get to be President they will have themselves to blame for the circumstances they will soon find themselves in.

It increasingly appears that the two major parties will force the American people to choose between the fascistic John McCain or the Marxist Barack Obama. Is that really the kind of choice we are willing to accept? Are we really content to continue to vote the “party line,” no matter what damage results?

Let’s face it, folks: the two major parties are strangling the life out of this country. It is indeed a death grip. Something drastic must be done, and it must be done NOW! Since it does not appear that either major party is salvageable (at the national level), it is up to “We the people” to take matters into our own hands. This means bypassing the mainstream press and relying more on the Internet for our news and information. And it means bypassing the two major parties and voting for Independent candidates for President.  

If Michael Bloomberg throws his hat in the Presidential ring, it will already be a three-man race. A strong independent conservative contender would make it a viable four-man race (just like 1860). At that point, anything could happen. But first, we must awaken to the reality of the two-party death grip, and then decide to do something about it. I am ready. How about you?
