The theories about where oil came from are probably wrong

It is starting to look like oil is produced by the earth. That allows for a young earth theory as well. If the abiotic theory is correct there will continually be new oil finds.

A study published in Science Magazine today presents new evidence supporting the
abiotic theory for the origin of oil, which asserts oil is a natural product the
Earth generates constantly rather than a “fossil fuel” derived from decaying
ancient forests and dead dinosaurs.
