Obama says that tiny Iran is no treat to the U.S.? What Senator! Did you sleep through your EMP briefing or did you just not show up? One nuke at the right altitude and location could reduce this nation to third world status. Iran certainly will have that capability in a few years. In addition, Iran is not a tiny nation. When was the last time Senator Obama looked at a world map or read any demographics. Can the Senator even locate Iran on a map? Iran unchecked has the population and the power to take over much of the Middle East. If you think we have oil problems now what would it be like if Iran’s version of Islamofascism controlled the entire region?
There is also the fact about the existence of Israel or perhaps Israel does not matter to the Senator, like many have said? So is Obama really saying that Iran is not a threat to Israel or is he saying that he would not defend our ally if she was attacked by Iran? The answer is, he would not be there to defend Israel.
Further, Venezuela and Cuba are threats to other nations in Central and South America even to Mexico and thus they are a threat to us. Does Obama think that it is fine if Mexico goes Communist like Venezuela and Cuba and becomes anti-American. What kind of foreign policy is this loon proposing?

Obama pooh-poohs danger from ‘tiny’ Iran
Leading Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama pooh-poohed the idea that Iran or any of a few other “tiny” nations around the world offer a serious potential threat to the United States or the free world.
“Iran, Cuba, Venezuela? These countries are tiny compared to the Soviet Union. They don’t pose any serious threat to us,” he told a crowd at a campaign stop over the weekend, prompting the probable Republican opponent for the White House to respond that Iran already is attacking the U.S.

Reality check, 1.. 2.. 1.. 2… Obama is a complete liar and a fool. Last time I checked he was saying that it is thanks to Bush’s policies that Iran is now the biggest threat to the U.S. in a generation, in response to Bush comparing those who seek dialog with Iran to pre-WW II appeasers of the Nazis.
Iran happens to be about as large as Alaska and it is slightly larger than Mongolia. It has a population of 70 million people – three times as much as Middle Eastern nation have on average. It has fertile lands, rivers, mountains, dry deserts,several large and modern cities with well educated people and natural resources like oil and gas. Hence it is well located strategically. It assists and openly supports Hizbullah and Hamas. It disrupts stability in Iraq and Lebanon by causing sectarian violence. Its influence is spreading like a cancer throughout the region and extending to the east in Afghanistan as well. And it has long-range series of missiles (Shahab) based on North Korean No-Dong and Taepodong missiles and has nuclear technology – also thanks to the North Koreans and the Russian post-Soviet era Fascists – which is inevitably leading towards an arms race in the region.
But I’m sure that’s all to be resolved through chatting over a cup of coffee and coockies which this lunatic dares to call “diplomacy.” This guy probably even thinks he can put a halt to Shari’ah law through “diplomacy”. Yes, but Obama would be nothing if it weren’t for the foolishness of much of the American electorate. Why do so many Americans trust this man and similar candidates? Why do they seem to be wanting to turn the U.S. A. into a European-style nation so desperately? More than Obama’s views it’s his success, that is what is puzzling me.
Many Americans do not believe in right and wrong anymore they are postmodern. They have been totally brainwashed by media and the socialist education system. They also want a Santa Clause figure who will promise them freebies at the expense of others. Americans are also very dumbed down. I doubt if Obama supporters could tell you where he stands on the issues. They just want a yes we can man because they do not live in reality and have never had an original thought in there lives. What they will get is screwed.
Others have given up on politics altogether and do not think it matters who is elected. They do not vote. If they had a real choice they would vote but they are correct any of the choices offered will screw America. They are aware that all the major candidates are controlled by elitist power brokers with the same socialist globalist worldview. The candidates just have slightly different approaches to the same end
America will get the leader it deserves.
