At some point the U.S. debt is going to need bailing out and nobody is going to be bailing unless interest rates rise dramatically. It will make the stagflation of the Jimmy Carter years look mild. Of course it does not matter if we produce the energy, foreign corporations will buy them and the profits will leave and go into other nations. Already a large percentage of New Jerseys water rights are owned by a company named American Water owned by German corporation. At least the jobs and resource is used state wide.
