Who is the fool? fool. We are talking about large scale electric production here. Solar battery storage units? You really think that there are batteries that can store electricity from huge solar farms? You must live in a fantasy world. Even if we could build the battery storage units who is going to pay for them, mine the lead or whatever, manufacture them, ship them, maintain them and recycle them every 3 to 5 years? You just doubled the cost of electricity over the already high solar rate. You might be able to put a roof collector with batteries on every house someday but that is not cost feasible right now. I am not against solar anyway I am against the wind, gas and bull coming out of Pickens. I think solar is a long term solution.

There may come a day when we can store electric on a large scale but it will not be through solar battery storage units and until that day arrives the huge solar farms collectors only have electric available in the day.

Fool, I believe that’s what Solar battery storage units are to store KW’s……..that’s Kilowatt’s, if your Dumb, and/or Dumber! Thanks for pointing this out!

Yeah, he is just the head of a TEN BILLION dollar ongoing windmill project in Northern Texas that is due to come on line in 2011 so if he sells the idea of windmills all over America his stock goes up and guess who has the advantage to develop future windmill farms? Its is not every day that you can sales pitch a trillion dollar industry and act like an American patriot doing it.

He also twists the truth on his commercials. The commercial makes it sound like America’s $700 Billion yearly foreign deficit is all coming from buying foreign oil. That is not true, much of the deficit is because of the crap we buy from China.

Mr. Pickens is playing the market, but he has an advantage that you and I don’t, that’s millions of dollars to place in the market where ever he pleases. Pickens is assuming that the sheeple are falling for the AlGore Globull Warming pyramid scheme. This way he is vested ahead of anyone else. The advertising where Pickens says that we can not drill our way out of foreign oil dependence is another way to try to boost the stock prices of wind turbine and other alternative fuel sources. Like I said Mr. Pickens is playing the market, but he is trying to stack the deck in his favor.
