Chavez and Obama real socialist parallels

Even though voters turned down these socialist “reforms” socialists like Hugo Chavez cannot take no for an answer. They know what is best for everyone including what is best to keep themselves in power. I notice that Hugo Chavez is going to create a civilian militia so he can control any dissension. Obama also talked about creating a civilian force that would be as powerful as our military. Do you see the parallel here between Chavez and Obama?

Obama is also a socialist who has views much like those of Hugo Chavez. Just watch Venezuela if you want to know what will happen in the U.S. under the Obama administration. It all starts with a national civilian police force and the state taking control of private business and establishing price controls. Then before you know it you are living in a state much like the old USSR or Cuba.

My Way News - Venezuelans protest Chavez’s new socialist push

CARACAS, Venezuela (AP) - Riot police used tear gas Wednesday to block hundreds of Venezuelans protesting the latest moves by President Hugo Chavez to concentrate his power. The demonstrators said a blacklist of opposition candidates and a series of socialist decrees are destroying what’s left of their democracy.

Though the protest of about 1,000 people chanting “freedom!” was small compared to past marches, there is a growing public outcry over the sidelining of key government opponents ahead of state and local elections in November.

Chavez opponents also are outraged by 26 laws the president just decreed, some of them mirroring the socialist measures voters rejected in a December referendum.

Chavez issued the decrees just before the expiration of special legislative powers that allowed him to make laws without National Assembly approval for the past 18 month

One decree establishes a civilian militia that critics warn could emulate the citizen groups that control many aspects of community life in Cuba. Another gives Chavez the ability to designate regional authorities who critics say could undermine the power of locally elected officials.

Other decrees empower Chavez to expropriate goods from private businesses and increase state control over food, punishing business owners who fail to comply with price controls with fines, closure and even 10-year prison terms.

As I have stated earlier, I believe that the Western world has not learned anything from history at all. We fought Nazism, Fascism and later Communism. But did we really defeat them? No, we didn’t. We are now reintroducing the very evils we fought against albeit under some devious form of Democracy and so-called “progressivism.” The Western world is poisoning itself with its lawlessness and collective thinking. They want the individual to submit to their outrageous fantasies and glorify gods of flesh and blood, wood, and stone. Giving up your talents, hard work, faith and tradition - all for some utopian “greater good.”

They establish paramilitary organizations like the Nazis did (Sturmabteilung, anyone?) and still they refuse to acknowledge that Communism, Social Democracy and National Socialism/Fascism are rooted in the same way of thinking. Marxism. Abstract ideals. Rebellion against God’s natural order. Envy and greediness. They all base their views around theories of social classes and a supposed need for economic [in]equality. All of them support economic intervention and a limited right to private property or even the abolishment of the latter. Hard work, success and achievement remain unrewarded, unless you are a Party member and submit yourself to their ideology. The greater good, society, the environment, “equality” - all of that comes before the family and the individual.

The Bible tells us to work, to provide for and defend our families, to respect the nation we belong to and to be dutiful citizens, not to be envious of others’ property, and to love God above all and keep His commands. Christ was not a pinko commie, a hippy or an egalitarianist. He doesn’t expects us to blindly follow and submit to the folly of some self-proclaimed saviors of the world and disregard our duties toward our people, our families and God.

America, take heed! Watch the world, study the Book of books and don’t choose the broad gate that leads to serfdom and slavery to sin.

Want to see true socialism check out an ant colony. Is that how humans want to live?

    Yes, good point.

Men are individuals. We have a soul. We were given the ability to reason in order to govern God’s creation. Each of us is a unique person. God made us to please Him; not as robots but as free men. We’re not brainless animals without a soul that do whatever their instinct tells them to do. Ants are wonderful creatures that are good at what they do simply because they do what their God-given instinct tells them to.

Yet God gave man His Word (out of mercy) to guide us - not mere instinct - because we are worth far more to Him than animals. Not only that but He became Flesh and died on the cross to atone for our sins and to offer us true freedom. Then why would we want to follow the godless teachings of men, if not doctrines of demons? How foolish of man to deny God and to put his own reasoning at the center of the universe!
