The article below is a very thought provoking article. No rational nation should willfully take this risk and put itself in this position. Be it Hitler, Mao or Chavez the socialists often first get in power through a popular election. After that they change the nation to conform to their own image. Do you really think Obama will not attempt to do that? If so you are naive. He will have the Congress in his pocket and he will appoint to the Supreme Court only those that believe in a living Constitution. That means the end of the America that your forefathers set up.
Why is Obama now in this position? Ask Oprah? Ask the CFR. They think they are “spiritually” enlightened gifts to the world that will bring the world to correct single mindedness through socialist team concepts, group think, and peer pressure (facilitated brainwashing). If you do not go along you will be ostracized or even persecuted.
When Obama talks about more government regulation he is not at all kidding, he is dead serious. He will want to control everything and even at the local level he will set up neighborhood groups to establish control. Obama was created by, promoted by and is a puppet of extreme Far Left radical globalists. Their worldview is certainly not the worldview of most America’s.
If you think government does not listen to the people now just wait until Obama, Reed and Pelosi and a liberal Supreme Court control everything from how much energy you can use, to what you can say in public, to guns.

This further article about the crime of the century should make it abundantly clear that you do not want liberals to gain control over all government. American Thinker: What If Obama Doesn’t Have America’s Best Interests at Heart?
I have known many “players” in my life, notably in big corporations, who might have easily written, as Obama has, that they “serve as a blank screen on which people of vastly different political stripes project their own views.” All of them turned out to be the ones who truly did have malicious intent. They were the ones who were survival-of-the-fittest professionals, ready to adapt to any circumstance and say whatever had to be said in order to win the game. They were the ones who built careers on the backs of people of more substance but less savvy, people who were either forced or were willing to lie face-down and be walked on. They were the ones whose artful dishonesty came with eloquence and a smile, concealing designs that were, in the end, hardly conceivable as virtuous. Often — very often — they were completely unqualified to lead. Always they found majorities who loved them.
The reaction to Obama by the people of America is disturbing, to say the least. I have not seen anything quite like it in America. Ronald Reagan, for example, was also very popular, but his name evoked enthusiasm and, at his death, reverence. But never the sort of idolatry inspired by Obama. Even Obama’s detractors do not seem to loathe him, at least not in the way that they have loathed the Clintons or Gore or Kerry. I have heard more than one Republican say, “Well, if I have to put up with him for four or more years, at least he’s tolerable.” Obama’s mass appeal is uncommon and frightening.
So, I am now imagining a very real scenario — similar to what I have seen on a smaller scale in the corporate world — about to be played out on a national, and possibly global, level. Our country seems to be ready to put into the seat of power a man — good-looking, charismatic, silver-tongued, to be sure — who has almost no experience, has never served in an executive capacity, has barely held a real job, and has no record of success other than his remarkable campaign.
This is a man who in less than two years has arisen as a political messiah. He has mesmerized an emergent block of college-age voters (whose chief sources of information, by the way, are comedians). He has inspired “Obama youth” corps and Maoist-style choirs of praise. He has been dubbed “the One” by his Matrix-saturated worshippers. He has captured the hearts and minds of half of America, nearly all of the media, and most of the world itself.
If Obama is just another bumbling Democrat, who, armed with a lot of really bad policies, simply wants to do America proud, well, then, if elected, he will muddle through the next four to eight years trying to implement change, will be hindered by the American political system, will enervate liberals and thus energize conservatives, and, eventually, the tide will turn. Like the aftermath of a very disagreeable season, we will have weathered the storm, will survey the damage, and will send in the rescue teams to rebuild.
But then again: What if Obama doesn’t have America’s best interest at heart? What if his candidacy has to do with the willful and radical recreation of the country, one that embraces Marxist ideals, i.e., socialism in some form or another? What if the “change we can believe in” — the central theme of his campaign — is directed subversion of the Republic in favor of the sort of Utopian, collectivist state that radicals like Bill Ayers have been dreaming of since the Sixties?
Who needs revolution when one can use evolution? If Congress turns decidedly left, Obama will have a good chance to help the Supreme Court do the same. At that point, the Left’s idea of a “living” Constitution, which allows interpretation to supplant the process of amendment, will be used to make us all believers.

Well, the downfall is imminent if Obama wins, or soon if McCain wins.
I seriously doubt there are enough like-minded Americans who know or understand our republic (as it was created) to be able to avoid our slide into “commufascism.”
(Most) people at this stage of our nation are motivated by their greed, then their perceived safety. In this hierarchy, their personal freedom and individuality ranks very low. The freedom and individuality of others (like Bible-believing Christians) is simply not even a consideration. (That’s why they will think nothing (negative) of re-educating or liquidating “troublemakers.”)
People will have to go through the “hell” of such a government before they will be motivated to change it for the better through a new revolution. This kind of change takes a generation or more to coalesce and then it takes courage and self-sacrifice to effect, so I’m virtually certain, non of us (believers & unbelievers alike) will be around long enough to see this happen;
I’m very sorry to say but despite all my talks about moving to the U.S., I just don’t see the point in moving anymore. America will be dead soon enough. Socialists are going to rule the nation along with Muslim imperialists and illegals that have no principles other than their own self-interest or conquering the world for allah or marxist utopia. No earthly means are ever going to get us rid of these problems. The age of chivalry is long gone; lawlessness today abounds because sin prevails. The day will come when our Lord Himself will make an end to this perpetual mess. That is my hope and gives me strength.
Were all going to move where you are at when there are no more borders in the world
You might just wait until after the revolution or the secession to move here. I am still looking for the right wilderness area. Anyone have any suggestions? But not too cold, to hot, too humid, too buggy, or too expensive.
Don, when you find out where to move, please let me know. I’m looking into Oklahoma.

I live in Australia if you want to move here. Heaps of land in whatever climate you want. I have been watching shows about election. I was suprised to hear supposedly christian churches are going to vote for Obama. How could a christian vote for someone who supports abortion and same sex marriage, plus he’s a socialist. I don’t know much about politics, a bit about my own country. The biggest bumbler got voted in here. Seriously people do love him, which is a bit scary the kind of idol worship they have toward him. Sorta like Hitler. I think the whole world will be watching this election. It just seems to me he is very far removed from anything AMERICAN. (That the only thing I could think of.) I did hear one lady say she will vote for him as, he will pay her mortgage. Well I supposed that is the world’s view of the prosperity gospel.
I hear it is pretty hard to live in Australia. I wished I had moved there when I was young and the nation was asking for people. Of course Australia has also become like Canada and Europe in regard to free Christian expression. The world loves Obama more than Americans so we will be joining the world and even leading the world into new insanities until the next world war and/or the American revolution.
Yes, the saddest part is the churches are probably worse. I went to a Baptist church were I was told that I shouldn’t have said Islam was wrong, as the girl I said it to had an Islamic brother in law. Maybe we are getting the leaders we deserve. What really gets me is the incredible blindness of these people. I really listened to Obama he is not saying anything.! I watched Bruce Springsteen campaigning . He wants his country back. I’m realising more lately the way of life, the Australia I grew up in is gone. It will never come back. I love my country, but I don’t feel a part of it anymore. Maybe this is God’s way, that we are not holding on to anything, that we are completely serving Him.
