Perhaps you do not know what would occur here if Martial Law is Declared. The executive orders are already in place. All the President needs is a good reason to carry them out. A economic collapse or attacks with WMD could bring them about any time. As your read this list of executive orders you might realize just how soon the the U.S. could be a dictatorial police state. Sunday, October 12, 2008After the coming economic financial collapse, a state of world-wide martial law will be declared. Considering the current events which are in direct alignment with documented plans for totalitarian one-world government, (white paper plans published by the Tri-Lateral Commission, Council on Foreign Relations, and Club of Rome), martial law will be imposed without official dissent upon the various countries of the world. Martial law is military rule imposed upon civilian populations in a time of war or during a (sic) “State of Emergency”. The following elements can be expected to occur once the t.v. news anchors tell people not to panic, but that a State of Emergency has been declared due to the crash, and a (sic) temporary state of martial law has been declared, which will be rescinded once the State of Emergency has passed.
What the news people won’t tell you is that given the history of martial law, the suspension of such a draconian state is far more difficult to achieve than its original imposition. Esteemed reader, ask yourself the question, why dictator or group of dictators ever voluntarily relinquished their dictatorial powers? I’m searching really hard through the history files of the world to find out the handful of amazing people who did so. So far, all I can find is George Washington who declined being elected “King”.

Yes, and we’re being told “cooperate with us. you may not like how this impacts you, but we’ll work it out later.” This is much in the same way as the authorities confiscating your car in an emergency — sure, you’ll get compensated, some indeterminate (years possibly) later and at whatever they (the bureaucracy) thinks fair (if they don’t find a loophole for exempting themselves), and (of course) you have not recourse). Except in this case we’re talking about people’s lives; we only get one “spin” on this planet, and they’re playing for keeps and asking us to “chill-out.”
As they are doing with banks. Paulson just decrees that the government will buy major shares in the banks and there is not one thing the banks can do about it. He lied to the people that the $700 Billion bail-out money was going to be used to buy up bad debt because two weeks later he is buying banks with the money. Paulson was given the power to do just about anything he wants in this bail-out bill. It don’t seem Constitutional to me. This is just a foretaste of what they will do when they declare Martial Law.
Evil men do evil things. Should we be surprised?
Actually I am surprised that Congress would give away so much of their own power to someone in the executive branch.
Well, since modern congresses have been making law in their own best interests (most egregiously in the last seven decades or so), then my guess is that as ruling elites, they suppose they will exempted from the impact Martial Law will have on the average citizen.
Our rulers long ago relinquished their mantle of Statesmen, casting it aside to become just politicians (the corruption of which stinks to Heaven).
Actually I was speaking of the power given to the executive branch by Congress for this $700 billion bail-out. You would think that they would not just give a blank check to Paulson. I think it is more likely that he told them exactly what he was going to do. That is, nationalize many of our institutions. I think our mostly socialist globalist Congress just loved the government power grab and we see the same thing now taking place all over the globe. Governments all over the world used a crises that they helped to create to enormously increase their powers over everyone. If the trend continues we will have world fascist socialism. Maybe they really want the Chinese system.
