well, I won’t hold you up

I will say that if we liquidate our 401K, we might be able to afford those $15 lightbulbs which will increase our energy efficiency in our home, and may very well give us better financial return over the next 5-10 years than our current investments, LOL.

I cannot advise on that. I personally think there will be big rises and falls in the stock market for the next six months and it will fluctuate between 6000 and 10000 depending on the news. A further decline will come when we actually go into a depression or an inflationary depression but that is a couple of years off. I am writing information on that now.

my gut tells me that the economy will stabilize, if only to further cement the leftist agenda, as they take credit for the improved economy. But the upcoming tax ideas that are circulating: ie, cap and trade, removal of tax credits for retirement accounts, a stimulus we cannot afford as a nation, could potentially cost us any gain we may see. As the value of the dollar drops further and further, and it becomes more difficult to make ends meet, I can’t help but wonder if we are making the best decision in leaving money in our retirement accounts.

I pray for clear direction, and perhaps a mattress where we can keep our money “safe”.

I didn’t either, I am beginning to wonder if we shouldn’t liquidate and take our losses. We (my husband and I) are pretty diverse, but have seen a loss of almost 30%, alot at the level we currently have invested. We currently have left what we would have netted after taxes and penalties if we had pulled our monies 4 months ago.

Even I did not expect that. That means those invested in stocks have lost about 50 percent of their wealth in less than 6 months.

Sorry I didn’t hang out last night, was tired. I am afraid you are right that a majority of the country has bought into the hype and the lies: this election proved that. I was helping my daughter research a paper about the Nuremberg trials, and we were reviewing the history leading to the rise of power of Hitler and the Nazi Party. My 14 year old was able to discern the similarities between a charismatic leader raised to power under social, economic and political upheaval, and the possible implications this blind “faith” has for our country. But I digress.

The tax increases are coming, and a majority of the people, as you said, will blindly follow only God knows where…I am able to rest in the knowledge that God is in control no matter how bad things get.

BTW, I wanted to let you know I have shared your page and blog with several people who are unsaved, and your message is being received by many who are spiritually but not intellectually blind. I pray for you and that your site will reach many others for Christ through its clear discernment of biblical prophecy as it unfolds.

Thank you Betty. You are correct about the crop based fuels and I would not doubt that this is the intent of some radicals. Now to make bio-fuels to continue to stress the food supply they will have to get oil prices back up. Therefore, look for Democrats to pass large tax increases on oil as well as cap and trade fees on the oil companies. They will do this claiming the taxes are necessary to save the world and over half the people in this nation will believe them.
