This will be my last post on this Blog . All further Blog posts of mine will be on my World and Church Trends and Bible Prophecy Blog.

At some point one has to decide if their time is being used most effectively. Two blogs and a website just takes too much of my time.
Many of the over 2300 post on this Blog are about politics and the belief in man caused climate change. The 2008 election is now over and Americans proved that they are demented delusional or dumb by the choices that they made. Liberal humanistic socialists who cause most of the problems in this nation will now finish the destruction of this nation by making America conform to the global governance of the godless socialist elite.
Of course the astute know that we were not given any real choice in the elections, we seldom are. The elections are mostly a sham. The field of prospective candidates are manipulated by the controlled media so that people pick the choice of the elite. No matter who you elect you get the same elitist socialist globalist Council on Foreign relations (CFR) agenda. You can see that by just looking at the CFR membership found at the top echelons of each administration. The Congress is totally controlled by the money of special interest groups. The system is now so corrupt that it is almost impossible to get an incumbent out of office. Frankly, we no longer have a representative constitutional government of the people, by the people and for the people. I guess you can read the topical posts here if you really want to know more information.
Despite plenty of scientific proof to the contrary (which can be found on this Blog) Americans have bought into global warming junk science hype and have been brainwashed into paying the costs of reducing beneficial CO2 gas. All this hype about carbon is about global governance, government control and the biggest backdoor tax in the history of the world, it is not about global warming at all.
Most Americans believe everything that they are told by the global elite that control the educational, political and media systems. There is no hope of educating people who cannot or will not think for themselves. Most Americans have become talking head parrots. They just repeat what they hear from the controlled talking heads on TV. Few people in this nation can critically think for themselves anymore they just go with the flow over the cliff.
This Blog will remain up as long as the search engines keep bringing people to it based on people’s key word searches on the various topics. I would think that means it will be up for at least another year. Comments are now closed.

You’ve done a really splendid job here Don.
Despite the disappointment (or resignation) that I read in your concluding essay, I think this blog has and will continue to bear fruit for our Lord. His Word will accomplish His purposes, and this has been a blog that juxtaposes scripture & sound interpretation with current events & history.
Thank you for allowing me to express myself on a number of topics. Interacting with you and others has been beneficial to my Biblical understanding and critical thinking.
I look forward to reading some of your new work sometime in the future.

Thanks Brett, you have been one of the people that have contributed much to this blog. The blog has many search engine indexed topical subjects so who knows who might still find the posts and find useful information on them in the future. I also will keep a link up to this Blog from my website homepage for as long as I can.
I do not think we will have free speech on the Internet much longer anyway. I believe what I said here about civil unrest and even secession. I think within a few years things are going to change rapidly and radically. The PC web hosts and search engines may give me more leeway on a religious blog like my other blog because it is a religious blog but I think a few complaints here from the degenerates i often speak about would make it very difficult if not impossible to continue to post much longer. Just today I was accused in an email of hate speech against Catholics because I have some issues with their doctrine on my website. All it will take in the future to get someone banned is to hurt someone’s feelings. Also hate speech is in the eye of the beholder and you can be sure subjective hate speech laws will be enacted within two years. Special interest groups and those with money will then go on a crusade to stop all public Christian speech that talks about sin or the consequences of sin.
When I move to the Southwest I might even look for a place off-grid and not be held hostage by power lines and rising electric prices that will certainly come due to the coming collapse of the dollar and environmental carbon laws. If an EMP or biological warfare event happens within the next five years like even top experts suggest it will turn out to be a very wise move.
It would be nice if Jesus would come as soon as you think Brett, but like I implied on the other Blog today, it looks to me like Christians have about two decades yet to endure. Of course the Rapture is always imminent. There could be a longer gap between the Rapture and the second coming then most think. After all, Enoch our prototype was taken over half a generation before the flood.

On a more serious note, I must say this blog has really helped me better understand certain issues and I’ve learned a lot from it. It has also been benificial in many ways to my spiritual life. I have grown more interested in certain biblical topics that I previously knew virutually nothing about, and there’s a lot things that I want to keep learning about. This blog has also urged me to remain faithful and watchful. Though at times it made me weary, I’ve also come to better appreciate the issue of Christ’s 2nd coming. It used to be like something spectacular but not much of a personal thing. Now I’m more conscious about it and it urges me to remain steadfast and not to backslide.
You dared to state your views plain and boldly. I think you did the right thing. Someone had to do this, better sooner than late. It won’t change this wicked world but I’m sure God will use your website and blogs to lead people to Christ. That alone makes it worth the effort.
I can fully understand your motivation to discontinue this blog. All these demented dumbasses out there aren’t worth your time.
There’s no way you can track all the demented things happening on this planet all by yourself. Not even a whole army of watchers like yourself could ever manage to keep track of it.
Only 20 years left? If that’s right then that is verrrry soon from my perspective!

I thank you for your kind remarks and I am glad that this blog has helped you in some way. You also have been a great help to me on this blog. Your comments have all been very well informative and thought provoking. I thank you for the knowledge you brought and your insights.
I would think that I will broaden the topics on my other blog a bit. I often had a difficult time deciding which blog to post on since many end time events on earth are also demented delusional or dumb. I now will not have that problem.
This blog is not exactly being discontinued. I just am not going to make any more posts here. The blog articles and comments will be around for quite a while. There are over 2300 posts on it and over half as many comments. I am sure people will search out the topics for quite some time when they use search engines or the link from my homepage.
One of the problems with keeping tract of all the insanity in the world is that I really would have to document the world. It is now quite insane. So what is the point in documenting the insanity of the last days here? Anything really important probably fits world and church trends and Bible prophecy so I can do that on that blog.

Don, if you find that you need to move your site to a safer hosting space, would you let me know as well. I have a post-rapture space specifically designed to lay low and require little bandwidth. I’m counting on the Spirit to pick those who would be Tribulation Saints with the name of its domain. Because I’ve cast the content into a very low bandwidth form, I’m hoping that it will survive for a few months after the rapture. I pay for this at 12 week intervals, and I’m considering paying ahead for a year. Have you any words of wisdom about this?

Brett, it will lay low all right. Nobody will ever find it. The site is not indexed by the search engines at least not by Google.
You need to submit it for indexing and even if they index it nobody will find it and I will tell you why.
Under the keywords that you use in the title there are thousands of other indexed sites that already use those words in their title. Basically nobody searches beyond the first thirty that come up on a search. In order to get that site into the top thirty you will have to have content that other websites will link to.
I think you need to rethink this. You might try creating a blog on blogger.com or wordpress.com that contains this information. That would be the fast way of getting your information indexed and then you will need to see if you can get it to rank in the top ten using the keywords you think people might type in after the rapture.
In other word if some type in “where did everyone go” your site needs to be up near the top right now or nobody is going to find it after the rapture. For example type in “world trends and prophecy” My blog using Google will come up first.
I was thinking that it might not be wise to index it since I think the ‘net will be “cleansed” that way. I wanted to use a domain name that might be brought to someone’s mind by the Holy Spirit. As much as I like sites like Rapture Ready, I have bad hunch that it will be among the first to be rendered inaccessible. Thoughts on this approach?
Sorry, here’s why I think RR might be eliminated quickly: it appears at or near the top of the typical end-times search.
But Brett how are people going to find your website if it is not in the search engine indexes? They would have to type in your exact URL. That is not going to happen unless you drop business cards with the URL on the way up
Even the name of the Domain name will not bring them to your site because it is not in the Index and even if it were it were in the index those keywords would not bring it near enough to the top to even be found. Why does the Holy Spirit need a middle man anyway? Why don’t the Holy Spirit just reveal the truth to those looking for it? Besides, there are plenty of books that will explain it all to any seeker of the truth. The real problem is that the world will really want to believe an alternate explanation (for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie). I think those who want the truth after the rapture will actually get it from the 144,000 and the 2 witnesses.
I think Rapture Ready is counting on that it will take a little time after the rapture before the Internet censorship gets organized. I don’t really agree with that assumption. I think the Internet filtering out of end time Christian information will be quite complete before the rapture.
Simply typing: “gonewhere.info” as the URL will get you there. That’s what I’m hoping the Spirit will lead people to. Of course, I’m only thinking that He will do so for those He knows to be Tribulation Saints.
I too think that ‘Net censorship will happen before the rapture, that’s why I didn’t index the site. If it helps one person, then it won’t be wasted effort.

I wonder how soon the Bible is it currently exists will be allowed to exist (openly). I think you mentioned that a “PC” version, maybe one that rolls all the “sugar” from all the major religions will be forthcoming and will be the only legal version to own.

I have thouroughly enjoyed your blog, even when I did not always agree with you. I am glad the other blog will remain open since at this point that is truly the most important. You are right that the demented and delusional news just keeps coming, and no one person could possibly keep up with it all. If God opens the time for your book, I will most certainly buy and share.
I will pray for you and your ministry, and that believers as well as unbelievers will be lead to your world trends site and through it see the ‘writing on the wall’.
You have given me much food for thought, and I have appreciated the heads up on false teachings and leaders, and most importantly, who and what I allow to shape my faith. I no longer attend church passively, but continuously pray and read God’s Word as part of my attendance. I also challenge my children to do the same. I have you and your blog to thank for my increased discipline.
