Joe Farah gives a book review in this article on “Black Belt Patriotism: How to Reawaken America”, by Chuck Norris. It sounds like a greatly needed and timely book by a very astute Christian champion. I hope many will read it, get educated and join the cultural revolution to reawaken America. Then in 2012 maybe we need to put an American patriot like Chuck Norris in the White House instead of the usual politician.

Don’t even think for a moment you won’t learn anything in a book by “an actor” or a “martial arts master.”

He sets out with a clear vision of the problems besetting us:

* Americans have forgotten their heritage, their history, the uniqueness of the founding documents that set the country apart;

* Americans have lost their sense of fiscal responsibility, resulting in mountains of debt – both public and private; (What a timely lesson this is!)

* Americans have permitted their borders to get out of control, allowed their elected officials to get away with non-enforcement of immigration laws, and tolerated a breakdown in national sovereignty that is leading to “the possible creation of a North American Union”;

* Americans have lost their moral compass;

* Americans no longer believe in the sanctity of human life;

* Americans are robbing their children of their innocence and their futures;

* Americans have participated in the destruction of the family;

* Americans are getting fat and lazy.

Chuck Norris also recognizes the solutions to these problems and restoration of America’s greatness will not come in the political arena alone – not by a long shot. It won’t come because we elect the right politician to be president. It won’t even come by electing a good Congress.

He sees a long battle ahead – a cultural revolution.

Not to be outdone by Oregon, California not only has physician assisted suicide they now have nurse-assisted suicide and apparently these physician assistants and nurses without sufficient diagnoses training can decide when you are terminal and pressure depressed people to be drugged into unconsciousness where they will be denied basic life-sustaining necessities such as food and water and die.

Just when you think California can not get any more demented they always prove you wrong. The California government does not want to pay for their medical care. California approves nurse-assisted suicide

SACRAMENTO – California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger has officially approved an assisted suicide measure allowing nurses to sedate, dehydrate and starve depressed or confused individuals they consider to be “terminally ill.”

“AB 2747 pushes suicide through the back door at the hands of non-physicians taking advantage of depressed patients,” he said in a statement. “AB 2747 cheapens the value of human life by endorsing suicide as an option.”

The measure allows physician assistants and nurses to decide whether a person is “terminally ill” and deprive them of basic life-sustaining necessities such as food and water.

“Depressed patients who succumb to this pressure will be drugged unconscious and die from dehydration, usually within five to 10 days,” Thomasson said. “Nothing in the bill prohibits this horror.”

Thomasson said Berg “deceptively changed” the bill to appear that “voluntarily stopping of eating and drinking” and “palliative sedation” no longer were on a list of “symptom management” options.

“The bill does not otherwise attempt to expressly define terminal illness that each of these health care professionals would have to diagnose to trigger the offer of counseling end of life option,” Tran said. “It is not clear why nurse practitioners and physician assistants could make such a significant diagnosis. It is further not clear from the bill how making such significant diagnoses on a case-by-case basis can be done by such practitioners and assistants based on so-called ’standardized procedures and protocols’ not further defined by the bill. The potential effect of AB 2747 is extremely broad and could cause irrevocable harm.”

He said the legislation was sponsored by a group called Compassion and Choices, which formerly was known as the Hemlock Society and has advocated for physician-assisted suicide legislation in the past. A founder of the group has praised Dr. Jack Kevorkian for helping more than 100 people die.

Dozens of individuals and groups representing cancer patients, minority rights groups, members of religious communities and hospitals spoke before the Senate Health Committee in opposition to the idea. Also, numerous hospitals and other organizations opposed the measure, includeing California Disability Alliance, California Family Council, California Nurses for Ethical Standards, Mercy San Juan Medical Center, Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital and St. Mary’s Medical Center in San Francisco.

“Religulous,” comedian Bill Maher’s new movie attacking Christianity and religion, is full of lies, half-truths, false assumptions, logical contradictions and fallacies, distortions, intolerance, prejudice, bigotry, arrogance, ignorance, and hypocrisy. Opening Oct. 3, the movie is a pathetic propaganda piece that will warp the hearts and minds of the gullible and the ignorant. It is also very poorly researched and argued.

At the end, Maher launches into a diatribe comparing all religious leaders and believers, including President George Bush, to evil and ignorant Muslim terrorists. After making that overbroad generalization, Maher angrily denounces people of faith for being too certain and too judgmental. He then tells them that it is actually more “humble” to acknowledge doubts and belief in God and religion, like he does.

It is telling that none of the Christians Maher talks to in “Religulous,” not even Father Coyne, actually makes their living as professional biblical scholars or history scholars, much less as professional Christian debaters. Thus, all the alleged evidence that Maher summons against Christianity and religious faith in his movie is about as empirically and logically one-sided and invalid as you can possible get!

Of course, at the same time Maher accuses his opponents of these nasty things, he is doing the same things that he just accused them of doing. Maher’s tirade is not only logically self-contradictory, and, hence, irrational, it is also hypocritical. Instead of pointing fingers at religious people, especially Christians, Maher needs to look at himself in the mirror!

I suppose you have heard about the trillion dollar bailout of bad debt and now hear the politicians on TV telling people that lack of government oversight and greed is to blame for the problem and how we now need bailouts and more federal government regulation to cure the problem.

Most of the same politicians talking today are the same politicians that supported the oversight conditions that created this crises in the first place. They were the ones who put the pressure on lending institutions to ease their rules so that just about any bad risk could get a loan.

They put great pressure on the mortgage lenders to establish easy lending programs for the poor and for  poor risks. But they are now passing the buck and saying the lenders were irresponsible and greedy. Sure, there was fraud and greed by the leaders but when you have government officials who are supposed to be in a position of oversight being the enablers of the greedy and making their practices the norm what should we expect?

It was government that eased the regulations on banks and brokers so that would not have to keep funds in reserve to weather a storm such as this and government allowed them to take those funds to the derivative casinos thanks to the policies of former Fed Chairman Greenspan.

These falsely optimistic idealistic liberals thought everything would just keep getting better and that there would be no more major downturns. These are the same people in government and business who never plan for recessions in their out year budgets. They live in some fantasyland or else they want to deceive the public that the out years will be better than any person living in reality could expect.

Some fools even thought we were post recessions because they thought the government now knew how to keep the economy expanding indefinitely. Ha ha. Nevertheless, we always had recessions and will again. These “financial wizards” are a good part of the reason why we always have budget deficits because they never plan for future economic downturns in their long term budgets. Most multinational corporations and local governments are doing the same thing and that is why when a down cycle comes they are in crises and need taxpayer bailouts.

After you read this article you will not only know everything you need to know about derivatives. You will also know why everyone in the know is turning white with fear long before Halloween.

There simply is no reason why a sub-prime crises would cause all these investment bank failures unless they have been doing something with your money that is very risky. Turns out they have. Instead of making sound investments with your money they have been gambling at the Derivatives Casinos. All these firms are now so leveraged on their next bet that any loss at the wheel of fortune makes them unable to pay their bills and if they cannot pay their bills other banks that are levered to the teeth because of their own gambling habits also cannot pay their bills and if they cannot pay their bills none of the others can pay their bills either and if none of the others can pay their bills there is no money to borrow for anyone in the nation.

Read about it for yourself but anyone who thinks the crises is over is not paying attention. Also take note that the following article was written before the announcement of the really frighting government bailout that was announced today to bail out all the derivative gamblers bad debts. Yeah, the government has to do this taxpayer bailout because all the gamblers were not gambling with their own money they were gambling with your retirement, insurance and investment incomes and everything else.

Until recently, most people had never even heard of derivatives; but in terms of money traded, these investments represent the biggest financial market in the world. Derivatives are financial instruments that have no intrinsic value but derive their value from something else. Basically, they are just bets. You can “hedge your bet” that something you own will go up by placing a side bet that it will go down. “Hedge funds” hedge bets in the derivatives market. Bets can be placed on anything, from the price of tea in China to the movements of specific markets.

“The point everyone misses,” wrote economist Robert Chapman a decade ago, “is that buying derivatives is not investing. It is gambling, insurance and high stakes bookmaking. Derivatives create nothing.”1 They not only create nothing, but they serve to enrich non-producers at the expense of the people who do create real goods and services. In congressional hearings in the early 1990s, derivatives trading was challenged as being an illegal form of gambling. But the practice was legitimized by Fed Chairman Alan Greenspan, who not only lent legal and regulatory support to the trade but actively promoted derivatives as a way to improve “risk management.” Partly, this was to boost the flagging profits of the banks; and at the larger banks and dealers, it worked. But the cost was an increase in risk to the financial system as a whole.2

Since then, derivative trades have grown exponentially, until now they are larger than the entire global economy. The Bank for International Settlements recently reported that total derivatives trades exceeded one quadrillion dollars – that’s 1,000 trillion dollars.3 How is that figure even possible? The gross domestic product of all the countries in the world is only about 60 trillion dollars. The answer is that gamblers can bet as much as they want. They can bet money they don’t have, and that is where the huge increase in risk comes in.

Credit default swaps (CDS) are the most widely traded form of credit derivative. CDS are bets between two parties on whether or not a company will default on its bonds. In a typical default swap, the “protection buyer” gets a large payoff from the “protection seller” if the company defaults within a certain period of time, while the “protection seller” collects periodic payments from the “protection buyer” for assuming the risk of default. CDS thus resemble insurance policies, but there is no requirement to actually hold any asset or suffer any loss, so CDS are widely used just to increase profits by gambling on market changes. In one blogger’s example, a hedge fund could sit back and collect $320,000 a year in premiums just for selling “protection” on a risky BBB junk bond. The premiums are “free” money – free until the bond actually goes into default, when the hedge fund could be on the hook for $100 million in claims.

And there’s the catch: what if the hedge fund doesn’t have the $100 million? The fund’s corporate shell or limited partnership is put into bankruptcy; but both parties are claiming the derivative as an asset on their books, which they now have to write down. Players who have “hedged their bets” by betting both ways cannot collect on their winning bets; and that means they cannot afford to pay their losing bets, causing other players to also default on their bets.

The dominos go down in a cascade of cross-defaults that infects the whole banking industry and jeopardizes the global pyramid scheme. The potential for this sort of nuclear reaction was what prompted billionaire investor Warren Buffett to call derivatives “weapons of financial mass destruction.” It is also why the banking system cannot let a major derivatives player go down, and it is the banking system that calls the shots. The Federal Reserve is literally owned by a conglomerate of banks; and Hank Paulson, who heads the U.S. Treasury, entered that position through the revolving door of investment bank Goldman Sachs, where he was formerly CEO.

A Democratic Party President, a Democratic House and a filibuster proof Democratic Senate would be the end of this nation as we know it. Even if they do not get their filibuster proof majority in the Senate it does not mean that we are out of the woods. If there is a Democratic President the scum suckers will try to change the Senate rules and stop filibusters all together and they will probably succeed. The only reason these bottom feeding scum suckers have not attempted to do that already is that they know that a Senate rules change now would not help them with a Republican President in office who would veto their bills.

So gee…nothing less then our Republic is on the line during the next election. So if you want to live under left wing Fascism you know how to vote. I find it simply unbelievable that so many people in this nation continue to vote for a national party that has not taken a correct moral stand on any significant issue in decades. Don’t you people even believe what your religion teaches? If not quit pretending! Admit you believe in nothing but how the government can give you a free handout.

Don’t count on being able to remove these bottom feeders in four years like some say will happen either. By then the rules of the political game will have changed and they will have muzzled free speech. We could even be under Marshall law. You will need a military coup to get the scum suckers out of office if that happens.

Don’t also count on the U.S becoming some Christian socialist paradise through the liberals passing huge give away programs and bailouts that this nation cannot afford. The failed economic polices of socialism will put us in the worse economic times in the history of this nation. We are in trouble already because of a democrat controlled House and Senate. Just one example is the cost of gas. Why do you think gas is four dollars a gallon? It is because liberals would not let people drill where there is significant oil or build refineries for twenty years.

Here’s an intriguing thought: The John McCain-Barack Obama fight isn’t this season’s biggest political story. That honor should be reserved for the intense Democratic push to win a filibuster-proof Senate majority.

Democrats know this is a huge prize, and they are throwing at least as much money and sweat into that effort as they are into electing Mr. Obama. What isn’t clear is that voters are as aware of the stakes. An unstoppable Democratic Senate has the potential to alter the balance of power in Washington in ways not yet seen.

Mr. Reid won’t necessarily need 60 votes to hold Washington’s whip hand. With a contingent of blue-state Republicans (think Maine’s Olympia Snowe), Mr. Reid could peel off votes and have an “effective” filibuster with just 57 or 58 seats. That may not be enough to accomplish every last item on his wish list, but close.

That wish list? Take a look at what House Democrats (who aren’t burdened with a filibuster) unilaterally passed last year: The biggest tax increase in history; card check, which eliminates secret ballots in union organizing elections; an “energy” bill that lacks drilling; vastly expanded government health insurance; new powers to restrict pharmaceutical prices. Add to this a global warming program, new trade restrictions (certainly no new trade deals) and fewer private options in Medicare.

Planned Parenthood promotes casual sex to kids on website

A website sponsored by Planned Parenthood, the biggest player in America’s billion dollar abortion industry, is promoting oral sex and casual encounters in the name of encouraging the prevention of sexually transmitted diseases, critics say.

“This website is engineered to reach the youth of America and undoubtedly will be featured in their health curriculum that is in many of our public school systems,” warned Rev. Clenard H. Childress Jr., of the Life Education And Resource Network.

The organization specifically cited a video that appears to have a black youth performing oral sex on a white youth, under the supervision of a white guidance counselor.

“It is obvious the deliberate depravation and systemic racism of Planned Parenthood continues to reach new levels of disgust,” he said.

Critics said it is time that the corporation is held accountable for the videos.

“This can’t go on,” added Damon Owens, founder of Joy Filled Marriage in West Orange, N.J.

The Planned Parenthood website is called “Take Care Down There.”

Childress said his organization also is calling on the Rainbow Coalition, led by Jesse Jackson, to demand a national boycott of Planned Parenthood and an apology for its practices.

Our nation faces two enormous threats, one externally and one from within, and we do so without a proper understanding of why we should be fighting them both with every fiber of our collective being.

The sex perverted city of San Francisco is at it once again. The majority of residents will soon not allow enforcement of laws related to prostitution and sex workers. When looking at what they are actually approving you will see that they are voting for a city where anything goes including abetting pedophiles and human traffickers. There is no end to San Francisco’s sex perversion. Now the innocent will be further preyed upon by inhuman predators. There is nothing that brings judgment from God quicker than the harming of innocent children. How can this city not soon be judged? Measure would protect pimps, not prostitutes

the average age of entry into prostitution is 12 to 14. The office of San Francisco District Attorney Kamala Harris, who opposes the initiative, has encountered prostituted children as young as 9.

Yet the San Francisco ballot measure completely ignores the prostitution of children. The measure simply states, “Law enforcement agencies shall not allocate any resources for the investigation and prosecution of prostitutes for prostitution.” Astonishingly, there’s no exemption that encourages police to enforce the law for minors.

If the measure passes, the city is likely to become an international haven for pimps who peddle girls and boys, and perverts seeking sex with minors.

And where does that leave Bay Area youth?

“They want new and young,” Jasmine, a former teen prostitute from Oakland who now volunteers for the nonprofit Sage Project, which fights sexual exploitation, explained to me.

The other big problem: The measure prohibits city law enforcement from applying for grants to prosecute human traffickers. That’s right, this measure gives a free pass to the human sex-slave trade - in a city that is a central stop for international sex-trade rings.

A proponent of the measure told Fox News that she believes that it will pass with 75 percent of the vote because the city is “sex-positive.”

Violence and pain are the inevitable outcome for those steeped in this dehumanizing way of life. Young women wooed into the life quickly age to the point where they cannot net the high-incomes their pimps demand. They become addicted to drugs. They learn to commit new crimes. Until the day they find they are disposable.

Or as Wilson noted, “We treat animals better.”

So do not tell Jasmine that if San Francisco decriminalizes prostitution, it will do so because the city cares about prostitutes. This measure really is a gift, not so much to so-called sex workers, as to pimps, pedophiles and human traffickers. As Jasmine sees it, if the ballot initiative passes, “That’s basically saying the city does not care.”

Magazine cleared of ‘bigotry,’ now facing 2nd hearing

A Christian publication already cleared by the Canadian Human Rights Commission on claims its reporting on issues involving homosexuality stem from “bigotry, discrimination and hate” will have to defend itself – again – from the same charges.

De Valk, the editor, said earlier, “It is chilling to think that a publication can be hauled before a government tribunal simply for reporting to interested citizens developments in these [homosexual rights] areas of controversy.”

WND reported earlier on the Canadian procedures that give human rights commissions virtually unlimited power to “hear” allegations of “hate crimes” and issue orders in those cases.

Already, a Knights of Columbus council was fined more than $1,000 for refusing to allow its facility to be used for a lesbian “wedding,” and before that printer Scott Brockie was fined $5,000 for declining to print homosexual-themed stationery. In another case Hugh Owens was fined thousands of dollars for quoting Bible verses in a newspaper and London, Ontario, mayor Diane Haskett was fined $10,000 for refusing to proclaim a homosexual pride day.

Officials noted the United States is not immune to such cases, either, after a New Mexico photographer was fined $6,600 for refusing to meet the demands of a lesbian to take pictures at a “wedding.”

Canada Family Action Coalition has blamed the situation on “bastardized courts” because activists who claim “hurt feelings” are demanding and getting penalties imposed against those who oppose homosexuality.

Wells has alleged he was offended by the Catholic Insight. Its editor, de Valk, said the claims are unfounded and the publication simply follows the teaching of the Catholic Church on homosexuality.

Catholic Insight reported that Wells’ attack on the publication is not his first. In 2006 he tried to close down several websites including concernedchristians.ca because of their Christian content, and he targeted Ron Gray and the Christian Heritage party because the political entity posted articles “motivated by hate” of homosexuals.

Most people in California obviously want this or they would not be electing into office liberal “progressive” representatives that keep passing amoral laws like this. This bill passed by 2/3rds majority in both houses. Anyone who thinks the “progressive” governor Schwarzenegger will not sign this bill is delusional and Californians put him in office. So what can you do if you disagree with celebrating homosexuality in your schools? You can let your kids be brainwashed, put them in private schools, home school them, convert many in California to true Christianity or move to a state where the people are not so “progressively” perverted. Legislators tell school kids to celebrate homosexuality

Only a year after banning all negative messages about homosexuality in
public schools throughout the state, the California Legislature now is
ordering school children to celebrate “gay” lifestyle choices.

“If signed into law, AB 2567 will mean an official day commemorating
homosexuality, bisexuality and transsexuality in California government
schools,” said Randy Thomasson, president of the Campaign for Children
and Families.

Thomasson said the passage by lawmakers of AB 2567 will require all California
public schools to “conduct suitable commemorative exercises” in honor
of the anti-religious, sexual-anarchy agenda of Harvey Milk, the late
San Francisco supervisor who was a homosexual activist.

The California Assembly approved the plan 43-26 and the Senate 22-13, with
both votes along party lines of Democrats supporting the homosexual
agenda.

The plan comes on the heels of last year’s school sexual indoctrination
laws, Thomasson said. “When fully implemented, SB 777 and AB 394 will
teach children in California government schools to support
homosexuality, bisexuality and transsexuality via instructional
materials, programs and activities, and school ’safety’ guidelines,” he
said. “In addition, the California State School Board this year
implemented SB 71 requiring public schools that provide sex education
to promote unmarried sexual activity with no restraints other than
mutual consent.”

The CCF announcement noted some of Milk’s statements included a blanket
condemnation of religion, which he described as “true perversion;” a
mandate to “declare yourself gay or lesbian,” and promotion of same-sex
marriages, which were created by the California Supreme Court in May
but are being challenged in the November election.

“This bad bill will teach impressionable schoolchildren the anti-religious,
homosexual-bisexual-transsexual agenda of Harvey Milk,” said Thomasson.
“For the love of God, parents and their children, we implore Gov.
Schwarzenegger to veto AB 2567.”

I for one have not been in a McDonald’s since I was made aware of there pro homosexual agenda and I will never go in McDonald’s again if they do not change their policy.

Notice that McDonald’s spokesman Bill Whitman even told the Washington Post people,
including Christians, who oppose homosexual marriage are motivated by
“hate.”

No Mr. Whitman, we are not we are motivated by hate. We are motivated by love for our neighbor. The homosexual lifestyle is killing people and it is spreading disease. Also, those who take part in these homosexual pride parades are in open rebellion against biblical Christianity and some are openly mocking Jesus Christ in these parades. This nation will reap the consequences. It is not hate to warn the nation of impending judgment if perverted rebels are allowed to continue to help corrupt a nation.

McDonald’s you also make a mockery out of the majority in this nation that believes marriage is a covenant between a man and a woman. You can promote the two percent that want to destroy the definition of marriage that has stood since Adam and Eve in every nation of the world throughout history but lets see you try running a business when the 98 percent stop buying your products.

If I owned a McDonald franchise I would be furious with the arrogant corporation headquarters people who are screwing over their investment and their livelihood in order to promote a radical and unpopular agenda.

Corporations are going to have to be responsive to their customer base or they will not survive. Let other Corporations watch and learn. The majority is not going to be dictated to by corporations that we empower with our money.

McDonald’s, home of the Big Mac and Happy Meals, has sponsored a homosexual festival featuring public nudity for both men and women, according to the American Family Association.

The AFA is ramping up the pressure on McDonald’s for its decision to fully promote the homosexual lifestyle and condemn people who object on moral and religious grounds as haters.

In a new alert to its millions of supporters, the AFA confirmed McDonald’s was a sponsor of the 2007 San Francisco “Gay” Pride parade with a television commercial.

“In the ad, a McDonald’s official (Darwin Choy) brags that it is ‘a company that actively demonstrates its commitment to the gay and lesbian community,’” the AFA said.

The parade itself was broadcast on San Francisco Channel KORN-TV, and the AFA has posted photographs documenting the explicit nudity.

The American Family Association asked McDonald’s to remain neutral in the culture war. The company refused, “stating they will continue to support the gay agenda including same-sex marriage,” the AFA said.

McDonald’s spokesman Bill Whitman even told the Washington Post people, including Christians, who oppose homosexual marriage are motivated by “hate.”

Mathew Staver, chief of Liberty Counsel, said the corporation should focus on quality food and safety issues instead of attacking values held by most people in the world.

“Marriage between a man and a woman is the norm throughout the world. McDonalds’ personal attack against those who support the traditional definition of marriage, while siding with a narrow group that promotes a radical redefinition, shows that company executives are out to lunch. McDonalds might as well change their signs to read ‘billions and billions insulted,’” he said.

AFA Chairman Don Wildmon said, “It’s a shame that McDonald’s would tarnish their family-friendly image. But the company has ramped up its support of the gay agenda and it leaves us no option but to call for a boycott.”

People like Nancy Pelosi, T. Boone Pickens and Al gore are telling lies that could have a catastrophic negative impact on this nations for decades. At some point the people of the United States are going to have to say we have had enough of people with special interests buying time to give out irresponsible disinformation or the conservatives are going to have to do something about the imbalanced message themselves.

There is something wrong when billionaires like Pickens with a ten billion dollar venture in windmills can buy time on all major national medias to misinformed the public on a national security issue in order to sell the windmill industry that he leads.

There is something wrong when Al Gore’s group can spend 300 million to give global warming disinformation on media to sell a carbon cap and trade industry that he leads.

There is something wrong when the Speaker of the House will not even let the oil drilling issue come up for vote when 3/4 of the people of the U.S. want off shore drilling.

There is something wrong when all these people can get invited over and over again to appear on public media shows to give their nutty unrealistic views on energy but little or nothing is said by people who know the truth. There is a term for this, it is called brainwashing the American public.

A biased mass media run by the elite has changed America from a Republic to an Oligarchy. It used to be that representatives voted what the local people wanted but with mass media those that control the media first brainwash the public to believe a lie and then when they have enough convinced that lies are truth they pass loony laws that negatively impact Americans.

As I speak their is a bill sponsored by Obama going through Congress that will simply give away almost one percent of America’s Gross national product each year to the UN to give to other nations. Do you even know that this wealth transfer will soon be law? Why would they tell you? Government and media is not serving Americans anymore it is serving world governance through world elitists. As long as this continues we do not have a Republic we have a Oligarchy.

We need more than election reform, we also need brainwashing reform and we need to get rid of the undue influence of elitists that are brainwashing everyone. These power brokers are trying to manage everyone as they see fit but in reality they are about to screw up the whole world.

Major media is so influential and so controlled by just a few people that it needs to be made to report all the facts. It must not be allowed to just push the agendas of special interest groups.

I also would like to know why the Right is not making an equal effort in the major medias to inform the people of the truth as the Left is in giving disinformation? Is it only Homosexuals, environmentalists and big government socialists who have money to buy media in this country? Why is the conservative Right not buying just as much time to debunk the lies coming from the Left? We are not going to restore a government elected by people who have the facts if we allow the Left to have all the control over information to the people.

So I ask you conservative people who have the money, why are you not using your money to make a difference? Why is the conservative Right not also controlling major national medias? Is everyone on the Right broke? If conservative talk can draw the audience in talk radio why are conservatives not establishing their own TV programs to get out the truth?

If you are going to just give the Left the only voice that matters why would you expect anything other than more amoral laws and socialism in America?

Nancy Pelosi is playing God

There is a big disconnect between the rush to convert automobiles to batteries and the reality that the electricity to recharge those batteries would require a massive new generating capacity. The same flawed excuse of “protecting the environment” has also blocked the expansion of electricity generating capacity. If the self-appointed gods of environmental protection won’t allow the expansion of electricity generation, how are the batteries of all these new electric vehicles going to be recharged every night?

Another major disconnect between the rush to replace oil with renewable sources such as wind and solar is the negative environmental impact of these renewable technologies. For example, to replace a single 50-megawatt coal-fired generating plant, which may occupy as much as 20 acres of land, approximately 3,000 acres of land would have to be occupied by wind turbines. To produce 50-megawatts of electricity from solar panels would cover even more land. How can these protectors of the environment justify blanketing the land with whirling bird-killers and solar panels that block the sun from all forms of life beneath them?

Some environmental purists genuinely want America and the world to return to the Stone Age. Nancy Pelosi is no environmental purist. She is a political creature, which is a person so intoxicated by power that the instinct to retain and expand it overwhelms common sense, logic, ethics, morality, or anything else that might get in the way.

By her refusal even to allow debate on proposals to expand oil development – where oil is known to exist – she stands like a barricade between thirsty consumers and a new mountain stream. She apparently sees herself as a self-appointed savior; she is, in truth, acting as judge and jury, condemning a nation desperate for more energy to spiraling energy costs for possibly another generation.

This is not a new posture for Democrat leadership. Democrats in the House, the Senate and the White House have blocked expansion of oil supplies for more than a decade. Had Bill Clinton not vetoed the bill that would have opened the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge more than a decade ago, gas prices would not be as high as they are today. Millions of jobs would have been created, and every American could have saved the money needlessly paid to foreign sources for oil, simply because one man played God and defied the express will of the people.

Nancy Pelosi is now playing God, standing where Bill Clinton stood more than a decade ago, defying the expressed will of the people by blocking access to the known oil reserves that are so desperately needed by the entire nation.

Well you knew it had to come to this. Just wait until the liberals pass their hate speech laws. I guarantee the time will come when certain passages in the Bible will be censored and it won’t just be homosexual passages. All sin passages will be censored and anything else that might offend someone and it won’t just be book publishers that are sued and arrested.

‘Gay’ man sues Bible publishers

A homosexual man who has a blog on Sen. Barack Obama’s campaign website is suing two major Christian publishers for violating his constitutional rights and causing emotional pain, because the Bible versions they publish refer to homosexuality as a sin.

Bradley LaShawn Fowler, 39, of Canton, Mich., is seeking $60 million from Zondervan and another $10 million from Thomas Nelson Publishing in lawsuits filed in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, the Grand Rapids Press reported.

Fowler filed his claim against Grand Rapids-based Zondervan Monday, alleging its Bibles’ references to homosexuality as a sin have made him an outcast from his family and contributed to physical discomfort and periods of “demoralization, chaos and bewilderment,” the paper said.

He filed suit against Tennessee publisher Thomas Nelson in June.

we must get the word out about what an Obama administration would mean for our country. One of the best ways I’ve seen is the new Nobama Girl video on YouTube. Have you seen it? The “Nobama Girl” music video released last week has already been called “the best video on YouTube,” by viewers.

The Nobama Girl, Jannique Stewart, provides an answer to the Obama Girl’s “crush,” with a call to “crush” Obama’s campaign with the truth.

“Many Americans are buying empty rhetoric of ‘change,’ without knowing the horrific policies behind that change that their vote would establish,” said Stewart in a recent press release. “This video is intended to bring the hidden things to light.”

It exposes the facts of Obama’s policies of:

* abortion on demand and infanticide
* his “respect” and support of the California Supreme Court decision to abolish marriage between one man and one woman
* amnesty
* gun control
* support for “hate crime” legislation that would criminalize Christian and pro-family views

Unlike the sleazy counterpart, the Nobama Girl video is one the whole family can watch and become informed. I give it two thumbs up. Rarely is exposing the evil positions of a candidate this much fun.

Dennis Prager makes some excellent points why conservative Christians should vote for John McCain.

I am not sure Prager is right about McCain if the governor of California supports him he can’t be as good as he thinks. Even on the Supreme Court issue McCain is not likely to appoint someone to the Supreme Court that will vote with the conservatives. Even George Bush who is much more conservative than John McCain appointed Justice Kennedy who rather than define the meaning of the Constitution just votes the way he thinks things ought to be in this country. I think McCain will pick similar justices and the Supreme Court is going to be stacked with liberal social engineers no matter if it is Obama or McCain. Also keep in mind that when you have a liberal Senate your not going to get a true conservative confirmed by the Senate.

I think one important issue is who will McCain pick for Vice President? After all McCain has a moderately high risk of dying in office at his age and with his health history.

Having said that, any Christian who votes for Obama has redefined Christianity and they need to find out if they are what they say they are.

It seems to me that Americans are about to get what they deserve and what they asked for and there is no way around that reality outside of national repentance. It is also obvious that repentance is not going to happen in this nation before any major judgment.

Why I support John McCain

Conservatives who will not vote for McCain are well-intentioned utopians. They are comparing McCain to a consistently conservative candidate. The reality, however, is that McCain is not running against a consistently conservative candidate. He is running against a consistently left-wing candidate. And America cannot afford to have its first leftist president ever. It can afford liberal presidents – such as Bill Clinton, or Jimmy Carter (who governed as a liberal but became a leftist after leaving the White House), or John F. Kennedy, or Lyndon Johnson, or Harry Truman – i.e., all the Democrats who have been president since World War II. But the Democratic Party has moved well to the left of liberalism. And Barack Obama is at the left of that left-wing party.

Furthermore, given the strong possibility of a Democratic House, a Democratic Senate and a liberal Supreme Court for decades to come, given the number of Supreme Court appointments a Democratic president will be able to make, an Obama victory will move America more radically leftward than ever in its history.

That is why the argument that an Obama administration will be so destructive that Americans will reject the left and then elect a real conservative to undo the damage done in an Obama presidency is deeply flawed.

First of all, other than impeachment, there is no way to undo Supreme Court appointments, two or three of which a President Obama would likely make. And given how active most liberal judges are, it won’t matter much if the country has some conservative epiphany and then elects a Republican president and Congress. Because even if the Congress and the president will not pass liberal legislation, a liberal Supreme Court will. On almost any social issue that matters – the right to bear arms, late-term abortion, the definition of marriage, capital punishment and many others – a liberal Supreme Court will rule on these issues, and there will be nothing that a post-Obama Republican president, even with a Republican Congress, will be able to do about them.

Everything is spinning out of control because the world will become increasingly out of control without God. At the rate that the world is departing from God and His moral laws it is going to get much much worse. By the way, there are no Polar bears adrift unless they want to be. A leading legal journalist believes that if Barack Obama wins the presidency in 2008, he might appoint Hillary Clinton to the U.S. Supreme Court – much to the chagrin of at least one pro-family legal expert. (see related story)

Tony Mauro, Supreme Court correspondent for Legal Times and American Lawyer Media, penned a column for USA Today suggesting the possibility that Obama might put Clinton on the nation’s high court. Mat Staver, founder of Liberty Counsel, quips that if Senator Clinton (D-New York) were to be appointed, he would have to clear his throat just to say “Justice Clinton.”

“… [T]his particular notion of Hillary Clinton being a justice on the United States Supreme Court is absolutely scary because we know, indeed, that she’s not going to follow the rule of law,” says Staver. “She’s going to be ideologically driven — and we know which way her ideology leans.”

Oregonian Barbara Wagner is dying of lung Cancer. Oregon’s Health Services Commission has said it will not pay for more treatment, but will provide $50 in lethal drugs so she can kill herself.

Stevens believes that is a conflict of interest for the state because it controls the medical funds. “End-of-life chemotherapy can cost thousands of dollars a month, and bureaucrats — in an attempt to save money — are telling patients [they] can’t provide money for … chemotherapy, but here take these pills and they will comfort you [and] end your stress.”
