“Christian” bird brains

No Gravatar

I guess it should not surprise us that birds of a feather flock together. Just don’t confuse yourself or anyone else by calling yourself an Evangelical Christian. Christians should know what heretical bird brains these people really are, if not they will soon find out.

Brian McLaren: Emissary for Barack Obama to Evangelicals - CWN

I am not a Republican. I am a Christian, and no Republican or Democrat who wars against God’s moral law and defends gay marriage, child killing or using human embryos for experimentation will get my vote. You can take that to the bank. McLaren has no moral compass because he rejects God’s Word as his only standard. You will notice a distinct correlation between those who reject God’s Word and their support for pro-death, pro-gay marriage candidates, and every other cause that is a revolt against heaven. That’s why the emerging church leaders and followers are up to their armpits in Obama campaign materials. When God’s Word gets thrown out, it affects every aspect of our lives and ethics. Ideas have practical consequences for men and nations.

Jimmy Carter always takes the side of evil

No Gravatar

At what point in his life did Jimmy Carter sell out to the Devil? Every wonder why Billy Carter drank himself to death. He knew his brother.

Jimmy Carter: Emissary of evil

Jimmy Carter is all about Jimmy Carter. During his presidency, he gave up the Panama Canal and allowed the Ayatollahs to take power in Iran – all for the praise of the international community. In 1980, he asked the Soviet Union to release Jewish emigrants, hoping that such action would soften American feeling against the USSR and thereby swing the presidential election to him. In 1984, he told the Russians that if Reagan were re-elected, there would not “be a single agreement on arms control, especially on nuclear arms, as long as Reagan remained in power.” In 2002, Carter accepted the Nobel Peace Prize, despite a clear indication by Nobel Committee members that the prize was meant as a rebuke to President Bush.

Does all this make Carter evil, or just a useful idiot? By all accounts, Carter is highly intelligent – perhaps the most intelligent president of the last 50 years. It would be foolish to write him off as simply naive. He is quite willing to be used by dictators from Venezuela to Cuba to North Korea, so long as helping them polishes his legacy. For almost three decades, Carter has pandered to enemies of Western Civilization, shielding his treasonous behavior with the title of “ex-president.” His Hamas-hugging is just the latest entry in a political diary that would make Osama bin Laden proud.

Obama, the unworthy black Messiah

No Gravatar

Obama has no distinguished record or no experience to be elected President. His drug record would disqualify him from any job in national defense requiring a high level security clearance. He presents no real plan for the future. All he has to offer is a winning smile.  People are hell bent into making him into something he is not. You have New Age/New Spirituality pushers and Idol’s like Oprah promoting him like he was their black Messiah. People are just dumping money at his feet.

We have famous evangelical religious leaders allowing him to speak from their pulpit like he had a Christian message. Meanwhile, he supports policies that are biblically evil. Obama speaks messages in Christian garb but they really are a social gospel of universalism.

It seems that all the undiscerning and gullible people in the nation have boarded Obama’s train to  disaster. They will only have themselves to blame when he cannot deliver them the promised land.

I have to conclude that half the nation is now beyond any spiritual help. They simply have made the choice to worship idols that they create in their own mind. We no longer elect national leaders in this nation. We elect American Idols.

I therefore fear for the future of America.

But Obama is part politician, part cult. Supporters wearing T-shirts with an Andy Warhol like pop-art image of his face testify to that. But then they - him - were once easy to dismiss until people realised Obama’s charisma was being matched by one of the most sophisticated ground operations ever seen. It is one that is outsmarting the Clinton machine. He’s marrying inspiration and cult with old-fashioned political grunt.

One would have to have a heart of stone not to be moved by Obama on the stump. It’s not so much by what he says but it’s the way the crowds respond to his words. When 16,000 people, without prompting, start shouting some of his keynote phrases as he delivers them, you know something special is going on.

The atmosphere at his events is such that one wonders if Obama is about to walk out with a basket with some loaves and fishes to feed the thousands.

And therein lays the danger for Obama. The Obama shuttle has made it into orbit but at some point he’s going to have to land this thing back on Earth.

Baptist of the Year: Al Gore

No Gravatar

Al Gore is EthicsDaily.com’s pick as Baptist of the Year for 2007. He has pressed for the global good with a compelling message about the danger of climate change and a clear call for moral responsibility, knitting together science and faith, reason and passion. He has refused to be distracted by the character-assassins, the fear-mongers, the science-deniers and the merchants of short-term gain. He has remained faithful to his mission of protecting the earth and its inhabitants.
In the opening paragraphs of his Nobel Peace Prize lecture, Gore said, “I have a purpose here today. It is a purpose I have tried to serve for many years. I have prayed that God would show me a way to accomplish it.”

With an acknowledgment of Providence, Gore tethered his speech to his moral vision. He quoted the Bible, refused to make God responsible for human inaction, called squarely for an ethic of love for neighbor, confessed human failure and placed moral authority at the tip of the needed plan for planetary redemption. His address was profoundly Christian without being offensively so.

I got news for you ethicsdaily.com Satan quotes the Bible as well. Is it no wonder that people do not want to belong to any sort of church denomination? If Al Gore is the Baptist (I use the term tongue in cheek) of the year then that must make me as a Baptist preacher of the Gospel emperor of the year, right?

I have seen in the news over much of 2007 good Bible believing denominations, compromising and giving in to political correctness and embracing secular humanism, and liberalism. Do you still believe that we are not in the last days?

America moving away from God

No Gravatar

I agree with what Jan Markell has to say in this excellent article. It is amazing how far the US has moved from God in 2007 alone.

It gives me no joy to report on what I think is one of the most prominent
stories of 2007. America is the most blessed, prosperous nation on earth. God
raised this young nation up for several reasons.
We have been a gospel light
to the world and that remains. We have been Israel’s “off-and-on” ally. Our
Christian heritage has made us a compassionate nation.
But I
see a nation pulling away from the one true God and giving a voice to those who
hate God or who have a skewed view of Him. This was personified in 2007.

The Creed of the National Council of Churches (NCC)

No Gravatar

I am sure you always wanted to know how the Nation Council of Churches stays so far off track. Well it probably starts with their Creed. You wont find anything about teaching the gospel here. Ever wonder why your church would send money to support a globalist socialist Christless agenda?

FrontPage Magazine:

The Creed itself demands “employment for all at a family-sustaining living wage, full “economic rights” that are “protected by new governance structures,” greater emphasis on public education, a “de-racialized” criminal justice system,
“universal healthcare,” more effective social security, “tax and budget policies that reduce disparities between rich and poor,” “equitable global trade,” “sustainable” and “alternative” energy sources, “mutual security rather than unilateral force,” a “strengthened United Nations, and a “redirection of
military spending to more peaceful and productive uses.”

The role of church, family, cultural traditions, and other mediating institutions in creating a more just society are likewise and revealingly unmentioned.Even more lost upon the clueless NCC is the disastrous impact on mainline churches by the Social Gospel, as embodied by the 1908 Creed, upon mainline churches. Setting aside the transcendent truths of Christianity, the Social Gospel’s proponents shrank and enervated America ’s once leading religious bodies by promoting materialistic and statist solutions to what are ultimately spiritual problems.

Where have all the anarchists gone?

No Gravatar

FrontPage Magazine: “Red Emma’s, an anarchist bookstore and café in Baltimore, has come to the rescue of struggling St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, whose originally female pastor now claims to be a man.

The Baltimore Sun published an entertaining piece on November 27 about the new anarcho-Methodist partnership, though it omitted the transsexual angle. ‘Anarchists and Methodists may seem like unlikely business partners,’ the Sun reported understatedly. But this ‘quirky venture’ has brought ‘new energy’ to the small congregation, whose doors might otherwise shut without the infusion of anarchist funds.”

Just when you thought you heard it all.

The Common Ground of Rick Warren & Mitt Romney

No Gravatar

The Common Ground of Rick Warren & Mitt Romney - CWN: “It is a fact that the ‘40 Days of Purpose’ and other church growth and leadership materials produced by Rick Warren are aggressively marketed to Mormons and others outside Christian orthodoxy. When asked why Mormon leaders are involved in his pastoral training programs Rick Warren told USA Today: ‘I’m not going to get into a debate over the non-essentials. I won’t try to change other denominations. Why be divisive?’ (http://www.usatoday.com/life/2003-07-21-rick-warren_x.htm) Say WHAT? Mormonism…a ‘denomination’ and “non-essentials” such as the identity of Jesus Christ, godhood for mankind or the route to eternal salvation??? Clearly, Warren doesn’t KNOW or doesn’t WANT to identify Mormonism as non-Christian. Either way, what USA Today didn’t report is that Rick Warren is helping train Mormon leaders to more effectively present a false religion to the world - a false religion that has led millions of lost souls to an eternal Hell.”

Read the last post and then tell me that Mormon’s are Christian.

Huckabee fears we may lose the republic

No Gravatar

Arkansas Online : Previous Features / Investigations
“Government knows it does not have the answer, but it’s arrogant and acts as though it does,” Huckabee said. “Church does have the answer but will cowardly deny that it does and wonder when the world will be changed.” The shootings were just one more wake-up call to the nation, he said. “I fear we will turn and hit the snooze button one more time and lose this great republic of ours.”

Huckabee has that right. I hope if he gets into office he will remember what he said.

Paul Proctor — Christian leaders betray Christ for world peace

No Gravatar

Paul Proctor — Christian leaders betray Christ for world peace: “How then can Christians join Muslims to love God together and not be an abomination before Him? We’re talking about two entirely different ‘Gods’ here - not the same God with differing names. And that’s the big lie hidden in this global agenda. By swapping love letters with Muslims, these ‘Christian leaders’ endeavor to legitimize the illegitimate by setting aside the whole counsel of God for Results & Relationships. Jesus Christ is not the Son of Allah; and to even imply that He is by claiming to love the same ‘God’ as Muslims is not only being dangerously deceitful - it’s blasphemy! “

“And that’s what this is really all about - systematically merging the two faiths into one through the dialectic process - not merely finding “common ground” or “reflecting” a “common love for God,” but actually creating a common god for the common good.
Who stands to benefit from this?
The coming antichrist, of course.
Kind of gives a whole new meaning to the term “church growth movement,” doesn’t it?”

Well said. These new Evangelicals are emerging into universalism. They know the buzz words to say when they are speaking to Christians but there agenda is not the agenda of Jesus Christ it is the agenda of the world and the Antichrist.

How deceptively they did all this. Pastors wants church growth so they developed a methodology to bring in unbelievers into the church and develop a big following. Now these Gurus will take the dumbed down Christians that remain down emerging paths of apostasy to a universal belief that demotes the Son as just another way of many ways to God.

‘Is This Really Thanksgiving?’

No Gravatar

‘Is This Really Thanksgiving?’ - Guest - Nov 24, 07: “if people act like this just to gain entry into a shopping mall to spend their money on bargains in times of plenty, how will they behave when the stock market plummets to near half its value, banks close their doors for days or weeks at a time and the U.S. dollar collapses on world markets – when food, water, shelter and the bare necessities of life suddenly become scarce, unavailable or just unaffordable? Are we ready for that? Are you ready for that?”

“Because this video was shot in the heart of the Bible belt, I suspect many, if not most of the shoppers captured on tape attend churches each and every Sunday – but probably not with the same kind of fervor.”

America does not have what it takes to face an economic collapse - and that is only a matter of when, not if. They will riot in the streets and loot everything and it will take the whole US army to restore any kind of order. The fact that these same people go to church tells you the condition of Christianity in America and why this judgment will come.

Integrity, Accountability and the Grassley Investigation

No Gravatar

Integrity, Accountability and the Grassley Investigation: “What is unfortunate about this investigation is that it had to be initiated by someone in the federal government. The Christian public should have demanded a higher level of accountability a long time ago. Why have we been silent when we know certain ministries are operating without a proper board of directors or without any accountability?”

All of the people being investigated by Senator Grassley teach a prosperity gospel. Why would anyone think that they would believe anything else for themselves? The root of the problem is the heresy that is being taught. The failure of Christians to discern biblical truths and biblical teachers is the real problem. The Word Faith people love teachers who will tickle their ears with new revelations that appeal to their flesh, rather than teachers who will teach them to mature in Christ through proper understanding of the scriptures.

What common ground between Islam and Christianity?

No Gravatar

Yale Center for Faith and Culture - About Us “Let this common ground” – the dual common ground of love of God and of neighbor – “be the basis of all future interfaith dialogue between us,” your courageous letter urges. Indeed, in the generosity with which the letter is written you embody what you call for. We most heartily agree. Abandoning all “hatred and strife,” we must engage in interfaith dialogue as those who seek each other’s good, for the one God unceasingly seeks our good. Indeed, together with you we believe that we need to move beyond “a polite ecumenical dialogue between selected religious leaders” and work diligently together to reshape relations between our communities and our nations so that they genuinely reflect our common love for God and for one another. Given the deep fissures in the relations between Christians and Muslims today, the task before us is daunting. And the stakes are great. The future of the world depends on our ability as Christians and Muslims to live together in peace. If we fail to make every effort to make peace and come together in harmony you correctly remind us that “our eternal souls” are at stake as well. We are persuaded that our next step should be for our leaders at every level to meet together and begin the earnest work of determining how God would have us fulfill the requirement that we love God and one another. It is with humility and hope that we receive your generous letter, and we commit ourselves to labor together in heart, soul, mind and strength for the objectives you so appropriately propose.

Take a look at the signatories on this letter. Among them are Rick Warren, Bill Hybels and Robert Schuller. God did not call Christians to establish common ground with unbelievers. He told us to preach the good new of salvation through Jesus Christ.

Does it not matter to these “Christian” leaders that Islam rejects Jesus Christ as the Savior of mankind and the Son of God? I also find it unbelievable that Christians would call Mohammad a prophet. This demonic man got nothing from God, but instead he established a religion that would be in direct opposition to God’s people.

I also have news for all of you. The future of the world does not depend on Muslims and Christians living in peace together. The future of the world depends on everyone submitting to the Lord Jesus.

There is no common love of God between Muslims and Christians. Muslims cannot know the Father because they deny His Son. They also have no love for Christians. So believing a lie does not make it true.

Your eternal souls don’t depend on Muslims and Christians coming together in peace and harmony. Your eternal soul depends upon your belief in Jesus Christ.

There are many more things that can be said about this “Christian” response to the Muslims but just from the points I made on the above posted paragraph it should be obvious that no Christian with any understanding of the Christian faith could sign such a letter. This tells me that some of the biggest Evangelical leaders in Christianity do not believe the teachings in the Bible. Anyone following the leaders on this list should ask themselves why they are submitting themselves to a person who believes in anti-Christ Universalism.

All the leaders who signed this list deserve the Demented Delusional or Dumb Club of the week award because they could not sign this if they were not demented delusional or dumb. Well there is one other possibility. They are truly anti-Christ.

Huckabee Stands By Kenneth Copeland

No Gravatar

Huckabee Stands By a Televangelist - TIME: “Presidential campaigns love to put their candidates in the company of influential evangelists. And the advertisement on page 44 of the December issue of the religious magazine Charisma was probably planned with that in mind. It shows Republican hopeful Mike Huckabee, sitting at a table with Texas-based Kenneth Copeland on the Believers Voice of Victory set, next to a bowl of fruit and an open Bible. The ad invites viewers to ‘tune in as’ the two men ’sit down for six days of frank discussion on the biblical perspective of character.’ The ad quotes Huckabee: ‘Character is who we are when nobody’s looking but God.’ “

“In the meantime, Huckabee is standing by the Copelands. In an e-mail message to TIME, Huckabee maintained, “Kenneth and Gloria Copeland are about the most gracious, authentic, and humble people I know and I consider them dear friends. They have brought hope to millions and have operated with the utmost integrity as far as I know. I have found them to be as warm and genuine in their private moments as they are in their public moments.”

This is too much! All Christian leaders are going insane. Huckabee, a baptist preacher is standing by the chief guru of the name-it-and-claim-it Word of Faith heresy. Mike Huckabee says that the Copeland’s have brought hope to millions of people. I guess the hope he is talking about is “Hope Arkansas” where Huckabee came from, because the Copeland’s have brought nothing but delusion and heretical teachings to millions of people.

If Mike Huckabee does not have the Christian understanding to judge major heresy how in the world can he lead this nation? I had some problems with Mike Huckabee to start with but this latest revelation is the end of my support for him. Unbelievable! Mike Huckabee gets my Demented Delusional or Dumb Club of the week award for standing with heretics and expecting true Christians to vote for him . Congradulations Mike!

An Evangelical Rethink on Divorce?

No Gravatar

An Evangelical Rethink on Divorce? - Yahoo! News: “Still, the controversy suggests that even the country’s most rule-bound Christians will search for a fresh understanding of scripture when it seems unjust to them. The implications? Flexibility on divorce may mean that evangelicals could also rethink their position on such things as gay marriage, as a generation of Christians far more accepting of homosexuality begins to move into power. (The ever-active Barna folks have found that 57% of ‘born-again’ Christians age 16-29 criticize their own church for being ‘anti-homosexual.’) It could also give heart to a certain twice-divorced former New York mayor who is running for President and seeking the conservative vote. But that may be pushing things a bit. “

The new Evangelicals might “rethink” everything and allow sin in the church but it won’t change what God said, nor the consequences that leaven will have on the whole loaf. The new Evangelicals leaders are now rapidly moving toward apostasy from the faith in all areas and they are doing it in the guise of relativism and enlightenment.

Pat Robertson Endorses Giuliani

No Gravatar

Pat Robertson Endorses Giuliani - The Fix: “Pat Robertson Endorses Giuliani Pat Robertson, one of the most influential figures in the social conservative movement, announced his support for Rudy Giuliani’s presidential bid this morning at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. Robertson’s endorsement of Giuliani is a significant blow to Mitt Romney, who has worked hard to court evangelical leaders. Above, Robertson speaks to the Christian Coalition in 1999. Robertson’s support was coveted by several of the leading Republican candidates and provides Giuliani with a major boost as the former New York City mayor seeks to convince social conservatives that, despite his positions on abortion and gay rights, he is an acceptable choice as the GOP nominee.”

How can a leader of Christian social conservatives endorse a social liberal? What Christ do those who endorse abortion and sexual immorality follow? Most in the national leadership of Evangelicals no longer speaks for true Bible believers. They need to be replaced, they are an embarrassment to the Church. Does anyone think that true Christians will be influenced by the views of Pat Robertson anymore? The man claims to hear many things from God and he tells the world things he heard from God that have not come true. Now he also shows the Church that in addition to having no vision from God he leads Christians astray.

The Bible, global warming and the dominionists

No Gravatar

WorldNetDaily: The Bible and ‘global warming’
“I can certainly understand why neo-pagans like Al Gore believe, despite overwhelming scientific evidence to the contrary, man-made, catastrophic global warming is the gravest threat to the planet. What I can’t understand is why people who claim to believe in the Bible as the inerrant, inspired Word of God do so. Even more difficult to comprehend is why some evangelical Christians are caught up in the notion that government and international action are the proper methods to fight this phantom threat. “

“It is sheer folly and ego for man to believe he controls the destiny of God’s creation. But it is even more disgraceful when those who claim to believe His Word preach a false gospel of global warming that directly contradicts the entire body of scripture.”

I think Evangelicals are caught up into this global warming hype because they believe in Dominion Theology. They actually think that they are in the Kingdom on earth and that they have the mandate to manage from God to make it a paradise. They unite with the world on this cause even if it takes going to the lowest common denominator to find unity with them. To do this they discount absolute truth and evil.

This is why we are now seeing leading Evangelicals standing on platforms with and spouting the same drivel as pagans, the rich and famous, elite atheistic globalists and world religious figures. There are many things these neo “Christian leaders” do not understand. One thing is that the Bible does not teach dominionism anytime before the physical return of the King. They know nothing of Bible prophecy because it does not fit their Replacement Theology dominionist agenda, and they fail to grasp that the world is not going to become Christianized by the church playing the Harlot with the unregenerate world.

David Jeremiah Proposes "Major Paradigm Shift" for His Church

No Gravatar

David Jeremiah Proposes “Major Paradigm Shift” for His Church: “David Jeremiah’s 2003 book, Life Wide Open, has a subtitle of ‘Unleashing the Power of a Passionate Life.’ In the introduction of the book, Jeremiah tells readers that ‘A Small handful among us have discovered what the rest of us would pay dearly to know: How can we bring real, living excitement into this life?’ Jeremiah goes on to tell readers that ‘This book is a map to the life of passion and purpose, the life wide open…’ Who are these small handful of people who have discovered the secret? Well according to Jeremiah’s book, his list includes Rick Warren, contemplative, feminine spiritualist Sue Monk Kidd ( When the Heart Waits), contemplative Calvin Miller (Into the Depths of God), Buddhist sympathizer Peter Senge (The Fifth Discipline), emerging church leader Erwin McManus, contemplative Michael Card, and Brother Lawrence (Practicing the Presence of God). “

I think we are seeing the domino effect of the apostasy of the seeker, prosperity and emergent churches. This is a paradigm shift all right. In one generation much of “Christianity” has gone from biblical doctrine into pagan mysticism.

Shamanism in the Church

No Gravatar

Shamanism in the Church The Berean Call: A number of prominent ministries use the eagle as a corporate symbol, and most of these do so quite innocently. But research into the testimony of a young prophetess associated with C. Peter Wagner’s self-titled New Apostolic Reformation (NAR) raises great concern. (The NAR, a blended resurrection of several modern heresies-kingom-dominionism, manifest sons of God, new breed, et al.-is spreading like wildfire through a growing number of charismatic and evangelical churches.) Here is just one example of cause for alarm:

“why do the neo-prophets and apostles of today use the eagle as a symbol of choice? Many ‘prophetic’ ministries associate eagles with tremendous natural vision and observable qualities of ‘rising above;’ but like shamans and seers-ancient and modern-they err in assigning to eagles spiritual qualities. An occult website declares the eagle’s role is that of an ‘illuminating force’ that rises on the east wind, whose gift is that of ’seeing hidden spiritual truths’ and ‘whose strength is by its connection to spirit guides.’ The website advises: ‘One who flies with the Eagle has a responsibility…to operate from Higher Intent, to develop the latent abilities of Illumination, and then freely share this Illumination with Others.’ In other words, a seer who channels the eagle is to ‘impart’ this knowledge and ‘gifting’ to others.”

“apostolic-prophetic” leaders who often teach with or promote Bob Jones also use the symbol of an eagle in their ministry logo: Paul Keith Davis, Rick Joyner, Bobby Conner, Cindy Jacobs, and others. Does this mean they also have the spirit of Swift to help them “carry out the purposes of God?” Not necessarily-but the connection between “eagle spirits,” shamans, and today’s neo-prophetic seers is unmistakable. This is the New Spirituality.”

Is anyone connecting the dots between this and my previous posts? They are all just different paths to the same end. Rick Warren’s “Peace Plan”, the Emergent Church, Willow Creek’s “Shift”, charismatic Kingdom/Now theology, Schuller’s rethinking conference, Oprah’s Secret etc.. is about dominionism and bringing pagan theology into the church in the name of unity and world peace.

The Latest "P" of Rick Warren’s Peace Plan is Promote Reconciliation

No Gravatar

The Latest “P” - Reconciliation: “Put this quotation on a global scale and apply it to tribes and warring factions, people groups and nations, and you can see how grandiose this thinking becomes. It is tantamount to a revolutionary new gospel. In fact, Brian McLaren includes a quotation in his 2006 book The Secret Message of Jesus (W Publishing Group) which seems to tie all of this together:

‘The radical revolutionary empire of God is here, advancing by reconciliation and peace, expanding by faith, hope, and love–beginning with the poorest, the weakest, the meekest, and the least. It’s time to change your thinking. Everything is about to change. It’s time for a new way of life. Believe me. Follow me. Believe this good news to you so you can learn to live by it and be part of the revolution.’ (pp. 32-33) [emphasis added]“

So now is there any doubt why Rick Warren has changed planting churches to “promote reconciliation” in the P of his PEACE plan acronym? Rick Warren obviously has bought into Dominion Theology and Brian McLaren’s heresy. Willow Creek’s seeker churches have as well. If nobody sees the setting up of the world harlot who rides the Beast of Revelation taking place here they have little understanding of Bible prophecy. Not to mention the scriptures that warn us that this end time apostasy would come from among those who call themselves “Christians”.
