Shaping A New Civilization, Part 1

Berit Kjos — Shaping A New Civilization, Part 1: “Everything must be changed — especially the way we think of ourselves in relationship to the ‘greater whole.’ When applied to religion, the ‘new ways of thinking’ means setting aside ‘narrow’ or inflexible beliefs for the sake of unity, universalism and ‘common good.‘ Christianity must either bend or break. Or, as Leonard Sweet wrote in Soul Tsunami (endorsed by Rick Warren): ‘Postmodern culture is a change-or-be-changed world. The word is out: Reinvent yourself for the 21st century or die.’[11] “

Berit Kjos — The Upside-Down World of Pullman’s “Golden Compass”
“Flying witches, evil specters, talking bears and evolving “Dust” abound in The Dark Materials, Philip Pullman’s popular fantasy series for children. In this confusing cosmos of multiple universes, humans are linked to a personal demons, and telepathic seekers find answers to life’s mysteries through divination, Eastern meditation, ancient “wisdom” and ritual magic. These occult practices are essential to the battle for the “free” Republic — against the despised old Church.”

Bush, Beliefs, and Elusive Bonesmen

Berit Kjos — Bush, Beliefs, and Elusive Bonesmen: “Considering the evidence, I tend to believe that President Bush and the S&B share a common interest in mysticism, political power, pragmatic elitism, and dialectic compromise. Today’s postmodern times fit their aims. Certainty is out (banned by the dialectic process); but social and spiritual evolution are in. During the Christian era, many Bonesmen had to show outward conformity to Christian values to maintain their influence. But now, anything goes — except Christian absolutes. “

Berit Kjos is at least partly right. I can’t get in Bush’s mind and know if he actively trying to follow the occult Bonesmen doctrines but his statements leave no question that he is a Universalist and a Arianist. These heresies disqualify him from representing Christianity. Those that identify with these beliefs and still call themelves Christians would be more appropriately identified with Mystery Babylon the Harlot of Revelation. Is it any wonder why Bush’s foreign policy is a disaster when he believes that Islam is on earth for peace? Islam exists to bring legalistic law and war on the earth from self rightious control freaks.

Berit Kjos — Shaping the Global ‘Christian’ Youth

Berit Kjos — Shaping the Global ‘Christian’ Youth: “Like our secular guides, today’s postmodern, purpose-driven church guides keep sounding the call for continual change. And their restless audience — dulled by decades of ‘progressive education’ and corrupt entertainment — are fast falling in line behind the most popular pied pipers. There’s little to hold them back from the tempting snares that tug at their hearts these days. The greatest obstacle to deception has always been God’s unchanging Word. But that wall of resistance is crumbling fast. “

Rick Warren assures his followers that “fundamentalism, of all varieties, will be ‘one of the big enemies of the 21st century.’”[12] He may be right! His worldwide influence will surely speed the rising hostility toward the fundamental Truths of God — a major obstacle to global solidarity.[13]

Like usual Berit Kjos gives too many good points in her well documented articles to do justification in a clip or two. I hope you will read the article. Berit has a very good handle on what is happening in the world and the church of today. It is not a pretty picture.

Public Schools - Pagan Religion Indoctrination Centers

Joel Turtel — Public Schools - Pagan Religion Indoctrination Centers: “Many public schools have become pagan religion indoctrination centers. These schools now teach children anti-Judeo-Christian beliefs and pagan religions, and try to mold children’s minds through the latest techniques in behavioral psychology. Here are two examples of how schools now use spirit religions as brainwashing techniques in classrooms across America, from Berit Kjos’s book, “Brave New Schools:” “Come to the medicine wheel!” the teacher’s cheery voice beckoned the Iowa fourth graders to a fun Native American ritual. “And wear your medicine bags.” “
