Joe Farah gives a book review in this article on “Black Belt Patriotism: How to Reawaken America”, by Chuck Norris. It sounds like a greatly needed and timely book by a very astute Christian champion. I hope many will read it, get educated and join the cultural revolution to reawaken America. Then in 2012 maybe we need to put an American patriot like Chuck Norris in the White House instead of the usual politician.

Don’t even think for a moment you won’t learn anything in a book by “an actor” or a “martial arts master.”

He sets out with a clear vision of the problems besetting us:

* Americans have forgotten their heritage, their history, the uniqueness of the founding documents that set the country apart;

* Americans have lost their sense of fiscal responsibility, resulting in mountains of debt – both public and private; (What a timely lesson this is!)

* Americans have permitted their borders to get out of control, allowed their elected officials to get away with non-enforcement of immigration laws, and tolerated a breakdown in national sovereignty that is leading to “the possible creation of a North American Union”;

* Americans have lost their moral compass;

* Americans no longer believe in the sanctity of human life;

* Americans are robbing their children of their innocence and their futures;

* Americans have participated in the destruction of the family;

* Americans are getting fat and lazy.

Chuck Norris also recognizes the solutions to these problems and restoration of America’s greatness will not come in the political arena alone – not by a long shot. It won’t come because we elect the right politician to be president. It won’t even come by electing a good Congress.

He sees a long battle ahead – a cultural revolution.

Whether discussing the war on terrorism, fiscal discipline or the removal of God from the public square, Norris makes it clear that re-embracing, promoting and and respecting the Judeo-Christian principles that guided our founders is indispensable to America becoming as great as she can be. Far from advocating any sort of theocracy, Norris asserts that the very Constitution we now adhere to functions best when the moral foundations of our republic are championed. In defense of that position, he quotes Thomas Paine, who said, “Spiritual freedom is the root of political freedom…As the union between spiritual freedom and political liberty seems nearly inseparable, it is our duty to defend both.” John Adams added, “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to to the government of any other.” Norris also cites George Washington, who argued against the notion that a nation can remain moral “in exclusion of religious principle”.

He also fights back against the argument that Thomas Jefferson argued for the “separation of church and state,” by using the very letter of Jefferson’s to the Danbury Baptists that contains that phrase. In context, Norris observes that Jefferson’s point was not to slam the door on religious expression “but to prohibit the domination and even legislation of religious sectarianism.” He also adds that Jefferson attended church services at the U.S. Capitol just two days after writing the letter — hardly a sign he wanted no intermingling of government and religion. In another nice touch, Norris prints the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution and the Ten Commandments at the end of the book, just to remind readers what each of them contains.

Norris quotes The Founders not only with respect to the key social issues of the day but also with respect to our nation’s mounting debt. He blasts the government for its wasteful ways, pointing out that the cost of minting pennies and nickels exceeds the values of those coins. The IRS is also a major target of his when it comes to the nation’s taxes. Norris says our Founders would be “horrified” to see the bloated bureaucracies and heavy tax burdens — which were, after all, one of the major reasons for the revolution. He pounds home the point with the words of Patrick Henry, who asserted that unless properly restricted, tax collectors will “go into your cellars and rooms and search, ransack, and measure, everything you eat, drink, and wear.”

The sex perverted city of San Francisco is at it once again. The majority of residents will soon not allow enforcement of laws related to prostitution and sex workers. When looking at what they are actually approving you will see that they are voting for a city where anything goes including abetting pedophiles and human traffickers. There is no end to San Francisco’s sex perversion. Now the innocent will be further preyed upon by inhuman predators. There is nothing that brings judgment from God quicker than the harming of innocent children. How can this city not soon be judged? If you are wise you will get yourself and your family out of this city.

Measure would protect pimps, not prostitutes

the average age of entry into prostitution is 12 to 14. The office of San Francisco District Attorney Kamala Harris, who opposes the initiative, has encountered prostituted children as young as 9.

Yet the San Francisco ballot measure completely ignores the prostitution of children. The measure simply states, “Law enforcement agencies shall not allocate any resources for the investigation and prosecution of prostitutes for prostitution.” Astonishingly, there’s no exemption that encourages police to enforce the law for minors.

If the measure passes, the city is likely to become an international haven for pimps who peddle girls and boys, and perverts seeking sex with minors.

And where does that leave Bay Area youth?

“They want new and young,” Jasmine, a former teen prostitute from Oakland who now volunteers for the nonprofit Sage Project, which fights sexual exploitation, explained to me.

The other big problem: The measure prohibits city law enforcement from applying for grants to prosecute human traffickers. That’s right, this measure gives a free pass to the human sex-slave trade - in a city that is a central stop for international sex-trade rings.

A proponent of the measure told Fox News that she believes that it will pass with 75 percent of the vote because the city is “sex-positive.”

Violence and pain are the inevitable outcome for those steeped in this dehumanizing way of life. Young women wooed into the life quickly age to the point where they cannot net the high-incomes their pimps demand. They become addicted to drugs. They learn to commit new crimes. Until the day they find they are disposable.

Or as Wilson noted, “We treat animals better.”

So do not tell Jasmine that if San Francisco decriminalizes prostitution, it will do so because the city cares about prostitutes. This measure really is a gift, not so much to so-called sex workers, as to pimps, pedophiles and human traffickers. As Jasmine sees it, if the ballot initiative passes, “That’s basically saying the city does not care.”

Police officer on the streets, but apparently told not to enforce publicly nudity or indecency rules, during the recent “Up Your Alley” homosexual festival

Nude men engaged in multiple instances of public sex on a municipal street while police officers, on foot and bicycle, congregated nearby making no attempt to enforce public indecency regulations, according to a report on the latest homosexual-fest in San Francisco.

The behavior was documented in photographs of an event called “Up Your Alley,” which is sponsored by the same group that organizes the city’s fall “gay”-fest, the Folsom Street Fair, on which WND has reported.

LaBarbera, who had to edit photos to conceal full nudity in images from the public street festival before he could post them as part of his report, said there were exhibitionists who “walked around baring their genitals, with no fear of being arrested.” Other websites, to which WND is unable to link because of their graphic content, published fully explicit photographs of various public acts of sex and nudity. They featured explicit photographs of oral and anal sex between men and men urinating on each other, among other activities.

The Americans for Truth report follows the July 27 event, “one of the city’s two open-air celebrations of sadomasochism (euphemistically called the ‘leather’ lifestyle by practitioners),” AFT said. “It is telling to us that the same city whose mayor, Gavin Newsom (D), ignited the ’same-sex marriage’ crusade in California by illegally issuing ‘gay marriage’ licenses – openly tolerates and celebrates gross perversions, nudity and sexual lawlessness on its streets.”

The images captured in the photos were described by one WND reader as “vomit-inducing.”

“This is what the gay agenda is all about,” the reader said. “I’ll go even further and call [the images] depraved and disgusting.

“Remember, this is on the public streets of San Francisco,” the reader said.

“One San Francisco policeman told our volunteers that the police were instructed not to make arrests for indecency on the city streets at “Up Your Alley” – but merely to ‘contain’ the activity to the street fair, which encompassed several city blocks,” Americans for Truth reported.

“San Francisco’s extreme political correctness has turned cops into impotent Perversion Protectors,” the group said.

The organization said the events included whippings, public sex between men, and even advocacy for slavery, with one man wearing nothing but cuffs and chains.

“Homosexual activists mock and deride Americans For Truth relentlessly for exposing sordid realities like ‘Up Your Alley’ – and showing you what happens when sexual radicals come to dominate a major city,” LaBarbera said.

“They don’t want Americans to see this side of their agenda … But we must face reality and come to grips with the truth that ‘rights’ based on aberrant sex are not genuine civil rights,” he said.

“Like the pantless perverts wandering around in sneakers-only at ‘Up Your Alley,’ the liberals’ pro-homosexual ‘tolerance and diversity’ program is now fully exposed as a soulless and bankrupt ideology,” LaBarbera said. “According to its precepts, nothing can be judged as wrong (sexually-speaking) – except, of course, normal, historic Judeo-Christian mores.”

I guess it should not surprise us that birds of a feather flock together. Just don’t confuse yourself or anyone else by calling yourself an Evangelical Christian. Christians should know what heretical bird brains these people really are, if not they will soon find out.

I am not a Republican. I am a Christian, and no Republican or Democrat who wars against God’s moral law and defends gay marriage, child killing or using human embryos for experimentation will get my vote. You can take that to the bank. McLaren has no moral compass because he rejects God’s Word as his only standard. You will notice a distinct correlation between those who reject God’s Word and their support for pro-death, pro-gay marriage candidates, and every other cause that is a revolt against heaven. That’s why the emerging church leaders and followers are up to their armpits in Obama campaign materials. When God’s Word gets thrown out, it affects every aspect of our lives and ethics. Ideas have practical consequences for men and nations.

I have to agree with Paul Proctor. Can you see Paul asking the elders to gather for a reading of heretical books so that they can teach against them? If I recall correctly early Christians burned such books. Yet, here in this on-line Christian bookstore they just offer any heresy for anyone to read and they justify it by using the disclaimer “read with discernment” or “check everything out with the Bible”

Well, looking at the state of the church today, isn’t it quite obvious that discernment is lacking in most of the church? Have you taken a survey of how many people in Christian churches have even read the Bible? I have news, it is not the majority. So can these biblically illiterate people discern what is truth from lies when the author offers 90 percent truth mixed with 10 percent deadly deception?

Perhaps they are buying the book to get some understanding on a current new popular teaching but if they are they really ought to read the writings of Christian scholars who are informed, have checked out the teaching with the Bible and can speak on that issue biblically. Instead, the Christian book stores make it very easy for the uneducated, undiscerning and the gullible to get a one sided heretical view directly from the horse’s-behind.

Often pastors are influenced by these heresies and spread them and even if they have the wisdom to reject the teachings the book usually still ends up in the church library for others to read.

Granted, some scholars will need to read these books to critique the book but they do not need to go to a Christian book store to get the book.

I guess some bookstores see no problem in making money off of deceptive heretical garbage and that is one reason why one deceptive book after another becomes a church small group study. After all, the group leader found this interesting sounding book in a Christian bookstore and it does quote Bible verses. Just ask the Oprah clones where they get their books?

The bottom-line is that this is all about the bottom-line. You are certainly free to run your book store anyway you want but if you are knowingly selling heresy maybe you should not call your business a Christian book store.

Paul Proctor — LifeWay says: Read With Discernment

Apparently, this is what they came up with to justify offering their third-party distributor’s problematic products through their search engine - just claim they are “relevant,” “of value” and “strictly” for the benefit of pastors, seminary students and ministry leaders doing “critical study or research.”

Since when are pastors, seminary students and ministry leaders immune to the seductive and intoxicating words of false teachers? If swayed with unbiblical instruction, worldly philosophies and pragmatic principles, will they not pass them along to their unsuspecting brothers and sisters in Christ who trust them for solid scriptural guidance?

Then what do you suppose happens when a concerned church member speaks up and challenges the erroneous teachings that are brought in from said leadership? Well, I can tell you that all too often they’re accused of causing division and disunity in the fellowship by questioning the leadership’s authority and wisdom and are promptly shown the door.

What a great way to undermine the Gospel and initiate a paradigm shift in the overall direction and purpose of the church, wouldn’t you say? And to think it can all be carried out under the radar because the instigator pulls it off with a book he or she writes that makes it into a church they never even have to visit to persuade.

Or is LifeWay just postulating these excuses because it’s easier and cheaper than having to perpetually police their third-party distributor’s offerings for the protection of customers?

Moreover, where did Jesus, Paul or any of those from the early church tell us in scripture that it was permissible to reward the enemies of Christ with our patronage for purposes of “scholarly study?” Seeing as that money goes to help support their causes, enhance their lifestyles, advance their agendas and further spread their erroneous teachings, wouldn’t that make gullible customers not only “partakers” of their “evil deeds” but also cosponsors of their erroneous endeavors as well?

But, if this is to be LifeWay’s template for handling controversial publications, then why not offer the works of Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin, Alice Bailey, Anton LaVay, Helena Petrovna Blavatsky and Larry Flynt for “scholarly study?” Just imagine the list of infamous names and titles that could be assembled under this stated rationale.

Better yet, why not just take the word “Christian” out of LifeWay’s name altogether? That would free them up to “be all things to all people” and spare those who don’t shop secular bookstores a lot of confusion and calamity.

You see, the heart of the problem is this:

Many of today’s Christian bookstores, like the countless crowd-pleasing churches and ministries out there, unequally yoked themselves long ago to gurus, groups, businesses and organizations that do not share their values and convictions to get the numbers up. Try as they may to justify it with pragmatic reasoning and evangelistic goals, it is still in direct opposition to the Word and Will of God. And until they recognize this and repent of it, the situation will not improve.

Communism is a God-less system of government where absolute Truth does not exist. Right and wrong was no longer defined by the God of the Bible, but by public opinion, or worse yet, the university-trained terrorists in black robes.

These race baiting leaders love putting down people with different skin colors. It puts them in the limelight. You can always find a following if you speak hate to those with bigoted ears. Obama should know the spiritual source of hate but obviously he has a spiritual discernment problem and really wanted that radical support base to help launch his political career?

How can Obama lead the free world if after twenty year he still cannot lead himself out of a church that dwells on a gospel of hate.

Guns, God and gays

I was also saddened this past week to read about the comic in the University of Virginia’s pre-Holy Week, school-sanctioned student paper. The Cavalier Daily published a cartoon that pictured a naked man smoking a cigarette in bed with a woman in her underwear who asks, “Come on God, be honest – did you really get a vasectomy? I can’t let Joseph find out about this.” The man, who is now revealed as God, replies, “Well, Mary, you’re f—ed.”How abhorring it is when the freedom of the press is abused to demean the biblical God and the most sacred couple in Christendom, especially right before Easter. If the cartoon depicted Allah or Muhammad, there undoubtedly would have been a national decry of bigotry. Yet it seems in vogue to disgrace Christianity, and so it was brushed under the rug of contempt and barely highlighted by any news agency.

There are only three possibilities:

Obama did not attend that church enough to know what the church was preaching (hardly a picture of a mature Christian).

Obama agreed with what the church was preaching (hardly a picture of a person with Christian discernment or with mainstream American views).

Or Obama only joined that church because it had the influence to give him political power (Hardly a reason for any true Christian to join a radical racist church).

Lets get real. We know what Obama is. His wife reflects his views. His amoral social positions reflect his views. There are millions of people in this nation of many different shades who blame others for their own moral problems. How many blacks today are in leadership because they use black’s hate of others for their own political ends? I could make a list of them. You know who they are, they are talking head media stars.

Does America really want to have a doubled mouthed smooth talking con man, with his shady past and socialist views running our country? I just explained in a previous post why illegal drug users are guilty of murder. Obama was a drug user. Considering all these things that we know about Obama, are Americans that incredibly naive to make him President because He can chant slogans like “yes we can” or “change”?

Having said that, Hillary has her own issues.

There also is nothing obscure about that passage in Romans and similar words about homosexuals are found in other places in scripture. The scriptures clearly indicate that those who continue flaunting these sins showing that they will not repent of them will not inherit the kingdom of heaven.

Obama has no distinguished record or no experience to be elected President. His drug record would disqualify him from any job in national defense requiring a high level security clearance. He presents no real plan for the future. All he has to offer is a winning smile.  People are hell bent into making him into something he is not. You have New Age/New Spirituality pushers and Idol’s like Oprah promoting him like he was their black Messiah. People are just dumping money at his feet.

We have famous evangelical religious leaders allowing him to speak from their pulpit like he had a Christian message. Meanwhile, he supports policies that are biblically evil. Obama speaks messages in Christian garb but they really are a social gospel of universalism.

It seems that all the undiscerning and gullible people in the nation have boarded Obama’s train to  disaster. They will only have themselves to blame when he cannot deliver them the promised land.

I have to conclude that half the nation is now beyond any spiritual help. They simply have made the choice to worship idols that they create in their own mind. We no longer elect national leaders in this nation. We elect American Idols.

I therefore fear for the future of America.

But Obama is part politician, part cult. Supporters wearing T-shirts with an Andy Warhol like pop-art image of his face testify to that. But then they - him - were once easy to dismiss until people realised Obama’s charisma was being matched by one of the most sophisticated ground operations ever seen. It is one that is outsmarting the Clinton machine. He’s marrying inspiration and cult with old-fashioned political grunt.

One would have to have a heart of stone not to be moved by Obama on the stump. It’s not so much by what he says but it’s the way the crowds respond to his words. When 16,000 people, without prompting, start shouting some of his keynote phrases as he delivers them, you know something special is going on.

The atmosphere at his events is such that one wonders if Obama is about to walk out with a basket with some loaves and fishes to feed the thousands.

And therein lays the danger for Obama. The Obama shuttle has made it into orbit but at some point he’s going to have to land this thing back on Earth.

I just want to document this nonsense to prove that those claiming to be in the “Prophetic Ministry” are in self delusion and that they actually are false prophets. They get visions or dreams that come from their own mind and then presume it came from God. Some of what is said in these prophecies is so nonsensical that one has to wonder if these airheads know anything about capabilities of nuclear weapons at all.
One or two nukes in the city of Phoenix could not destroy Phoenix at all. Do these people have a clue about how large Phoenix is? It would take tens of hydrogen bombs to destroy Phoenix and no one with a mind believes that terrorists have hydrogen weapons. A nuclear device set off in Phoenix would kill 10,000 to 100,000 people not millions.

I should ignore this prophecy but people are being deceived. Time after time there are prophecies from self proclaimed prophets that claim something that never comes true. The Prophetic Ministry has been part of the Charismatic movement for decades. These self anointed prophets have always been wrong about any verifiable prediction! These people are never held accountable for their lies and they are continually paraded on Charismatic TV and Radio shows and on the INTERNET as if they have a direct link to God.

Those who follow what they say have itching ears and seem to be looking for news to fret about to bring some excitement to their own lives. They then pass on the garbage to anyone else who will listen to them.

I have warned “Christians” who post this stuff on their websites to no avail. they simply what to help spread lies on their websites either because it is sensational or because they themselves are gullible and deceived.

Do not be deceived by these people the neighborhood crystal ball reader receives the same level of divine truth and is probably more sensible. These presumptuous prophets speaking for God might receive glory from men for an hour on earth but I would not want to be in their shoes at the judgment.
