Chuck Baldwin for President of the U.S.? The Constitution Party will soon be over.

Chuck Baldwin views are too radical to even win an election to become pastor of most Baptist churches. I respect some of his views but America will not support him. You would think that a national party that exists to bring back government to the intent of its founders could come up with a more qualified and more well known candidate. I think this party will soon be over. Baldwin will have zero impact on this election and he will not start a third party grass roots movement for the future either.

Constitution Party stunner: Chuck Baldwin KOs firebrand Alan Keyes | KansasCity.com Prime Buzz

Convening its national convention in Kansas City today, the Constitution Party picked radio talk-show host Chuck Baldwin over former Ambassador Alan Keyes as its 2008 presidential candidate.

The pick was seen as something of an upset, given Keyes’ higher national profile. Known for his fiery stem-winders, Keyes is a two-time GOP presidential candidate who abandoned the Republican Party this month to join the Constitution Party, which believes in limited government and is committed to ending abortion and bringing American troops home from Iraq.

But Baldwin’s roots in the Constitution Party run deeper. He was the party’s 2004 vice-presidential candidate, and party members said his stands were more in line with party thinking.

Why Does The Establishment Hate Ron Paul?

Chuck Baldwin — Why Does The Establishment Hate Ron Paul?

Maybe Dr. Paul needs to start a third party movement because by the time of the national election the country might be in bad enough shape that it will get off the ground. It certainly would be a feasible third party by the next national election. In any case, a third party President cannot change the establishment in this country by himself. It would take a movement that would also replace most of the Representatives in the House and the Senate.

Ron Paul is not interested in creating a world empire. Neither is he a
warmonger. He would squash the burgeoning New World Order in its tracks–and the globalists ensconced in Washington and New York City know it. There is only one Presidential candidate who would bring a modern-day revolution to Washington, D.C., and it is not Barack Obama or Mike Huckabee. It is Ron Paul. Obama and Huckabee–along with the rest of the Democrat and Republican contenders–are only more of the same. The same Nanny State, the same unconstitutional laws and regulations, the same advances toward global government, the same attacks against individual liberties, the same arrogance, the same hypocrisy, the same social programs, the same back-breaking taxes, the same jack-booted federal police tactics, the same IRS, the same lobbyists, and the same corrupt Washington politics.

Chuck Baldwin — Who Are These Kooks?

Chuck Baldwin — Who Are These Kooks?: “No matter what ultimately happens to Ron Paul’s candidacy, the fight to return America to its roots of freedom and independence has started. The fire is lit. There is no putting it out. There will be other Ron Pauls, other campaigns, other spokesmen, other fundraising. The people supporting Ron Paul will not be silenced; they will not be ignored; they will not be intimidated. In truth, Ron Paul’s campaign may just be the beginning of the end of the elitist, globalist, stranglehold over America.”

Are there more who want a return to America the way it was, or are there now more who want a America that will give them their government handout? We shall see. I think we will go back to our roots but not before a world war, a major depression or a breakup of the Union. Ron Paul is probably a decade ahead of the coming counterrevolution. We could see a new party because of his effort. That grass roots party might be more important than who is President next term because no matter who is elected, disaster is likely to be the end result for the US in the next decade.

Chuck Baldwin — "Pro-Life" Candidates Should Put Up Or Shut Up

No Gravatar

Chuck Baldwin — “Pro-Life” Candidates Should Put Up Or Shut Up: “I say again, it is time for ‘pro-life’ Republicans to put up or shut up! Beyond that, it is time for Christian conservatives to stop being so gullible. We need to start looking beyond eloquent rhetoric and campaign clichés. We need to begin demanding results. Every four years, Republicans trot out a conservative façade during an election season for the purpose of obtaining the votes of susceptible Christians. And every four years, conservative Christians–like starving catfish–take the bait: hook, line, and sinker. ‘Save us from the monster,’ seems to be the cry of well-meaning–but easily manipulated–conservatives. The ‘monster’ is whoever the Democrats nominate, of course. But, ladies and gentlemen, the Republican Party has done absolutely nothing to change the course of the country. Nothing! In fact, it has only gotten worse with Republicans in charge. “

Chuck Baldwin — More Reasons To Beware Of Mike Huckabee

Chuck Baldwin — More Reasons To Beware Of Mike Huckabee: “Let’s say it plainly: Mike Huckabee is just another big-government, establishment politician who will do nothing to stem the tide of socialism or fascism (pick your poison) emanating from Washington, D.C., these days. “

What is it about the South that produces these people? Mike said himself that he did some of the things he did because politics is rough in Arkansas. Why would a minister of the Gospel trade that job in for the affairs of the world and then stoop to their level? It seems to me that Mike Huckabee is in the same mold as Rick Warren, Bill Hybels and Kenneth Copeland. They preach the Kingdom should be established right here right now. The way they intend to bring in this soft dominionism is through social action and legislation and they have no problem uniting with secular humanists and anti Christ religions to establish this end. Where is the great commission in any of this?

An Appeal To My Fellow Pastors

Chuck Baldwin — An Appeal To My Fellow Pastors: “adherence to the Constitution protects our freedom of speech and assembly; our freedom of worship; our right to keep and bear arms; our right to a trial by jury; the right to be secure in our own homes against police overreach; our right to witness for Christ in public, as a Christian; the right to own property; the right to not be deprived of life or property without due process of law; the right to face our accusers, and the right to keep government local and limited. Keeping government local and limited is the cornerstone doctrine of American government. Ron Paul understands this more than any other candidate running today. Most of the problems that we are now dealing with socially, culturally, financially, etc., stem from America abandoning the basic founding principle that ‘the government that governs least governs best.’ “

Baldwin makes a good case.

Chuck Baldwin — Christians Need To Beware Of Mike Huckabee

Chuck Baldwin — Christians Need To Beware Of Mike Huckabee: “With Christian conservatives trying to scramble to find a Republican presidential candidate they can support, some of them seem to be coalescing around former Arkansas governor, Mike Huckabee. Janet Folger, especially, seems to be trumpeting his candidacy. But is Mike Huckabee someone Christian conservatives should be supporting? Not everyone thinks so. “

There is truth in what Chuck Baldwin is saying although I have seen his opposing arguments as well. They answer some of the concerns but not most of them. Mike Huckabee is better than Hillary. So if that is all we can come up with I guess its either Mike or start a third party. Like a said before, Ron Paul is the only real Conservative in the bunch. He would be the ideal candidate to take America back to its roots after a world depression or world war but before that he would simply bring it on us sooner than it would have come. I don’t know if that is good or bad. Perhaps the economic collapse or war will happen before the election and that will solve that problem. However, then most likely there would not be any election and we would all be Bush whacked.

Chuck Baldwin — Christians Should Support Constitutional Government: “When we elect people to public office, we should expect only one thing: that they uphold their contract to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States. Do Christians And Muslims Worship The Same God?

No Gravatar

Chuck Baldwin — Do Christians And Muslims Worship The Same God?: “To anyone who understands the true message of Christ, however, the doctrine of universalism is anathema. Every true believer in Christ understands Him to be the God-Man, the Creator-God become flesh (John 1:1-3, 14). We understand that Jesus is the only way to Heaven (John 14:6). We take Christ at His word, when He told us, ‘I and my Father are one.’ (John 10:30) We believe Him when He said, ‘[H]e that hath seen me hath seen the Father.’ (John 14:9) We understand that Jesus is the ‘fulness of the Godhead bodily.’ (Col. 2:9) No real Christian could say that every religion worships the same God or that everyone is going to Heaven, regardless of who or what they worship. Only a universalist could make such a statement. I say it again, President Bush is a universalist. Furthermore, because President Bush has convinced everyone that he is a Christian, his erroneous remarks portend much evil. Why? Because many professing Christians will take the word of an apostate President over the word of their own pastors or even the very Word of God. “

Bush certainly is not getting his views from Christian teaching. I think Secretary Rice said something the other day that puts her is this camp as well. Makes me wonder if all this “Christianity” in the white house that we hear about is nothing but a logical extension of Bush’s 12 step higher power delusion.

Now we clearly see what dangers 12 step higher power delusions can bring when they only lead to an invented Jesus. We have a supposedly “Christian” President telling the whole world a deadly lie that all religions have the same God. Impossible!

Chuck Baldwin — Bob Jones Dances With The Devil

Chuck Baldwin — Bob Jones Dances With The Devil:
“There is another problem: our so-called Christian “leaders” crave attention. They desire notoriety. They are obsessed with having access to power. They want a seat at the king’s table. As a result, they are willing to believe the lies being told them by shrewd and cunning frauds–as long as they are Republicans, of course. As Doc Holliday said in the movie Tombstone, “My hypocrisy only goes so far.”
Accordingly, our Christian “leaders” will never promote a man’s candidacy on principle alone. They want to pick a “winner.”

“In his endorsement of Mitt Romney, Dr. Bob Jones III also said, ‘This is all about beating Hillary.’ Oh, really? Since when does a preacher of the Gospel and Christian educator put electing charlatans (of any political party) ahead of standing for truth and doing right? And this leads to another problem. Our Christian ‘leaders’ have forgotten what it means to stand on principle. They have gotten so bogged down in politics that they have forsaken the divine call to be watchmen on the wall. If Bob Jones III would be as concerned about standing for truth and principle as he is about ‘beating Hillary,’ many others might be encouraged to do the same–and we preachers might actually be able to have a positive impact upon the direction of our country. As it is, our Christian ‘leaders’ are not only not helping to lead our nation out of its current mess, they are actually contributing to the problem, as Dr. Jones’ endorsement of Mitt Romney illustrates. “

I agree with Chuck Baldwin that it may all be about Christian leaders fear of losing their own position of influence if they should pick a Christian that might lose against Hillary.

At least if someone like Mike Huckabee loses against Hillary we will know the percentage of Christians or people with Christian values in the United States. If we are not the majority then why should we deserve a Christian leader from God?

The distinctions between Hillary and Huckabee are so great that no one should be deceived. But, get one of the other pretenders running against Hillary and many Christians either will not vote or they will vote for what they think is the lessor of the two evils.

The Church In Apostasy

No Gravatar

Chuck Baldwin — The Church In Apostasy“Obviously, George W. Bush is a universalist. His confession is not that of a Christian, but that of a universalist. Any true Christian knows that there is but one mediator between God and man: Christ Jesus. Any true Christian knows that Jesus is the incarnate God–the Creator-God become flesh. Any true Christian knows that Jesus and the Father are one. Any true Christian knows that there is salvation in no other name, no other god. Any true Christian knows that no one has access to God except through Jesus Christ. Any true Christian knows that there is no God other than Jesus: that Jesus is the fullness of the Godhead bodily. That is Christianity 101. With the above understanding and because President Bush claims to be a Christian, his statements should be regarded by Christians everywhere as an admission of apostasy and an attack upon the fundamental doctrine of Christ. Yet, there has been no reaction. No admonishments. No calls for repentance. No warnings to Christians to reject such heresy. No protestations whatsoever. Why? There is only one answer: the church itself is in a state of apostasy! “

Baldwin is correct. With a few exceptions nobody is saying anything about what George Bush has clearly said. What he said is not what true Christians believe. Therefore, unless he repents of his universalist views that Baldwin documented in this article he cannot be considered a true Christian. He is not a true Christian according to any orthodox understanding of the Christian faith. His foreign policy also displays that with Bush opposing Israel to remain in their God given land to appease a cult called Islam overun with terrorists.

Yes, many of the churches are now in apostasy. I do not think it is quite as bad as Chuck Baldwin paints, yet it is bad and it is getting worse all the time. Bible prophecy predicts it would happen. Christian pastors and leaders should be speaking up on this issue since our belief in Jesus as the only way to God is critical to our faith and it is critical to preach the good news of salvation through Jesus to the world. What we see happening with some of the leadership is not exactly apostasy since most know and believe that Jesus is the only way to God. They Just will not preach the gospel of salvation.

The problem really is that they are cowards and they do not want to do battle againt forces of evil. They think by not taking a stand that they won’t cause waves. Meanwhile, like in the ancient city of Laodicea the enemy is climbing the cliff behind the city while the Laodicean leaders idle away their time in leisure and preach the gospel of good times that the Laodicean Christians want to hear.

The true biblical Christianity of the saints that laid the foundation is on the brink of being destroyed on many fronts because most Christians leaders are mainly concerned with their own garden on their own Laodicean hill. The members of their churches seem most concerned about their positions on their pews. They know little about what is going on in the Church and in the world and they care to know even less.

Chuck Baldwin — Can A Christian Pray To Allah?

No Gravatar

Chuck Baldwin — Can A Christian Pray To Allah?: “Every true Christian knows that the Lord Jesus Christ is the only way to God the Father. Jesus is not ‘a’ way of salvation. He is the only way of salvation, and His is the only name whereby we are saved. No man comes unto the Father except through Christ (John 14:6; Acts 4:12). This is Christianity 101. We have pre-kindergarten children in our Sunday School that apparently understand more about Bible truth than our supposed ‘Christian’ President. “

Apparently George Bush skipped Christianity 101 and elected to go to the graduate school of Robert Schuller.

Christian revolt’ against Giuliani brewing, says Baldwin

No Gravatar

WorldNetDaily: ‘Christian revolt’ against Giuliani brewing: “‘A lot of conservative Christians will never vote for Rudy Giuliani,’ says pastor, commentator and radio talk host Chuck Baldwin. “
“Giuliani is unabashedly pro-choice,” Baldwin argued in an interview with WND, “He is the most pro-abortion candidate the Republican Party has.”
Baldwin is the pastor of Crossroad Baptist Church in Pensacola, Fla., a frequent commentator and a prominent member of the Constitution Party.”

Chuck Baldwin is correct about Giuliani but Baldwin does not speak for conservative Christians. He speaks for conspiracy nuts and rebellious people. I have some examples of the pseudo Christian teaching of Chuck Baldwin on this Blog

Dobson Is Right About Giuliani

Chuck Baldwin — Dobson Is Right About Giuliani: “As a conservative Baptist pastor for more than thirty years and a former executive director for the Moral Majority, my roots in the Religious Right run pretty deep. However, over the last several years, I have become a consistent critic of the Religious Right, as faithful readers of this column already know. “

We have a situation here where everyone running who have the support and money to win are not acceptable to Christian conservatives for one good reason or another. I do not believe in voting for the lesser of two evils for various reasons. So what do we do about this situation? The conservative vote is so split right now that a liberal will get elected. It is time for some of the second tier Christian conservatives to get out of the race and to throw their support to one man. Ron Paul is simply not going to get elected the sooner people realize that the better. Ron Paul might be someone people might elect to office after the depression when their eyes are opened, but it will not happen now. It seems to me the only Christian conservative that has the personality to have any chance of winning at all is Mike Huckabee. I am not saying I endorse all his views but there is no one else in the race that is a Christian conservative that can win. I can see Dr. Dobson supporting Mike.

Chuck Baldwin — Giuliani Is Everyone’s Worst Nightmare

Chuck Baldwin — Giuliani Is Everyone’s Worst Nightmare: “That Rudy Giuliani is currently trying to cast himself as a conservative is beyond laughable–it is hilarious. This is a man who is unabashedly pro-abortion. He has been seen walking down Fifth Avenue with thousands of homosexuals demanding ‘gay rights.’ He himself is a cross-dresser. He has had numerous marriages and only God knows how many sexual affairs. He has been one of the country’s most radical proponents of gun control. He made New York a sanctuary city for illegal aliens and is a strong proponent of amnesty for illegal aliens. As a prosecutor, his abuse of power and disregard for law are legendary. [Read] “

“I tell you the truth, Rudy Giuliani scares me far more than Hillary Clinton does. Far more. I’ll say it right here: if the 2008 Presidential election comes down to Hillary vs. Giuliani, Hillary is the “lesser of two evils.” That’s how bad Giuliani is.
Any Christian who would vote for Rudy Giuliani needs to check out his or her salvation. And before a conservative could vote for Giuliani, he would have to surrender every conviction and principle he ever held.”

“A Giuliani Presidency would mean an expansion of military interventionism and preemptive war like you can’t imagine. One can call me what one wants, but I am warning the American people, just as Dietrich Bonhoeffer and Martin Niemoller tried to warn the German people about Hitler: Rudy Giuliani is a monster. Anyone who is paying attention knows this is true.”

I agree with Chuck Baldwin on this one. When he is right he is right. Giuliani is really scary indeed. He knows how to play up to American patriots but he has the values of a slime ball. He is also an egomaniac. Give a man like this unlimited power and you will have the actual dictator and tyrant that the American Patriot movement has been crying wolf about all these years. He is the real deal. He will seek to destroy anyone who opposes any action he takes and he will do it from a platform that plays upon the fears of the American people. You can forget about any constitutional freedoms and he will not give a spit about your religious beliefs.

If I “only” have a choice between Hillary and Giuliani it would not be Giuliani. Hillary will at least have to be more subtle because American patriots already have her number. She is not fooling Christian conservatives. Giuliani on the other hand, is thought of as a right wing patriot by many conservatives but he really is just an opportunist who is riding a hyped 9/11 macho performance into power. He might just fool gullible Christian conservatives to join him on some Crusade.

Frankly, I think Giuliani is betting that another homeland terrorist attack will catapult him into the Presidency and it probably will. I don’t see how he can be defeated if one occurs. Giuliani will then be everyone’s worst nightmare.
