At some point one has to decide if their time is being used most effectively. Two blogs and a website just takes too much of my time.

Many of the over 2300 post on this Blog are about politics and the belief in man caused climate change. The 2008 election is now over and Americans proved that they are demented delusional or dumb by the choices that they made. Liberal humanistic socialists who cause most of the problems in this nation will now finish the destruction of this nation by making America conform to the global governance of the godless socialist elite.

Of course the astute know that we were not given any real choice in the elections, we seldom are. The elections are mostly a sham. The field of prospective candidates are manipulated by the controlled media so that people pick the choice of the elite. No matter who you elect you get the same elitist socialist globalist Council on Foreign relations (CFR) agenda. You can see that by just looking at the CFR membership found at the top echelons of each administration. The Congress is totally controlled by the money of special interest groups. The system is now so corrupt that it is almost impossible to get an incumbent out of office. Frankly, we no longer have a representative constitutional government of the people, by the people and for the people. I guess you can read the topical posts here if you really want to know more information.

Despite plenty of scientific proof to the contrary (which can be found on this Blog) Americans have bought into global warming junk science hype and have been brainwashed into paying the costs of reducing beneficial CO2 gas. All this hype about carbon is about global governance, government control and the biggest backdoor tax in the history of the world, it is not about global warming at all.

Most Americans believe everything that they are told by the global elite that control the educational, political and media systems. There is no hope of educating people who cannot or will not think for themselves. Most Americans have become talking head parrots. They just repeat what they hear from the controlled talking heads on TV. Few people in this nation can critically think for themselves anymore they just go with the flow over the cliff.

This Blog will remain up as long as the search engines keep bringing people to it based on people’s key word searches on the various topics. I would think that means it will be up for at least another year. Comments are now closed.

I thought I would comment on this Russian analyst prediction since it is all over the Internet news. He claims that the USA will break up. As some of you know I have been saying in my posts that the break up of the union is a possibility by 2013. However, I say that for different reasons than this moron does. The breakup will not be due to an economic collapse and dissatisfaction although that could add fuel to the fire. If the USA breaks up it will be because of two different ideologies in America that cannot be reconciled.

One ideology is based on biblical principles of morality, constitutional limited federal government, and on self responsibility and the other is based on liberal relativism, big federal government, and a socialist nanny state. If there is a break up of the American union it will be due to the heartland conservative states breaking away from the liberal states. It will come only after one ideology tries to force its will on the other.

I also find the breakdown of the regions by this Russian analyst to be rather bazaar. What he said makes me wonder if he knows anything at all about the demographics of the United States.

The Pacific Coast Chinese minority are not going to be a major factor for separation. The South is not Hispanic other than south Florida so Hispanics would not be a factor in the South. The South is the Bible Belt and that is why they might decide to separate. Texas could survive as a country by itself so I can see them seceding and if there is any breakup of the U.S. it will start in Texas.

After that the Russian analyst mentions five poor central states with large native populations. Huh? What states might they be? None of them are poor and the only state that has a significant enough native population to actually influence the state is Oklahoma but they would still go with Texas. He also thinks Canada has strong influence on the northern states? I suppose they do if you are only talking about beer.

This Russian even suggests that Russia could claim Alaska. I am sure Russia could claim Alaska. I believe some Russians already have claimed Alaska. But, Alaska would never claim Russia. Only a moron could think that Russia could take Alaska. Russia has a problem keeping the Eastern part of their own nation in Russia now. Russians need to keep their own country together before they claim a state that will stuff and mount any platoon of Russian invaders stupid enough to try invading Alaska on their dog sleds.

Lastly, he says it will be clear by spring that Obama will not have any economic miracles. Obama takes office in January. I do not think anything will be clear by this spring. Bottom line is that this guy does not know what he is talking about and I haven’t a clue why he even made the national news.

DRUDGE REPORT: RUSSIAN ANALYST PREDICTS DECLINE AND BREAKUP OF USA 2008®

A leading Russian political analyst has said the economic turmoil in the United States has confirmed his long-held view that the country is heading for collapse, and will divide into separate parts.

Professor Igor Panarin said in an interview with the respected daily IZVESTIA published on Monday: “The dollar is not secured by anything. The country’s foreign debt has grown like an avalanche, even though in the early 1980s there was no debt. By 1998, when I first made my prediction, it had exceeded $2 trillion. Now it is more than 11 trillion. This is a pyramid that can only collapse.”

Asked why he expected the U.S. to break up into separate parts, he said: “A whole range of reasons. Firstly, the financial problems in the U.S. will get worse. Millions of citizens there have lost their savings. Prices and unemployment are on the rise. General Motors and Ford are on the verge of collapse, and this means that whole cities will be left without work. Governors are already insistently demanding money from the federal center. Dissatisfaction is growing, and at the moment it is only being held back by the elections and the hope that Obama can work miracles. But by spring, it will be clear that there are no miracles.”

He predicted that the U.S. will break up into six parts – the Pacific coast, with its growing Chinese population; the South, with its Hispanics; Texas, where independence movements are on the rise; the Atlantic coast, with its distinct and separate mentality; five of the poorer central states with their large Native American populations; and the northern states, where the influence from Canada is strong.

Here are two articles that document just how dumb Americans have become. Americans cannot even pass a basic civics test and the people they elect are worse educated than they are. Perhaps you should have to get a minimum grade on a civics test to prove that you have some knowledge of how our system operates before a person should be allow to vote. The second article just reaffirms the dumbing down of America that explains why Americans elect fools to lead them. What does that say about our failed public education system? *Fully 71 percent of Americans flunked a 33-question civic-literacy survey conducted by the Intercollegiate Studies Institute. Among 2,508 respondents ISI randomly selected, 1,791 failed this test of U.S. historical, political, and economic basics. The average score was just 49 out of 100 — a solid F. While just 2.6 percent scored Bs on this quiz,

*Just 49 percent of rank-and-file Americans can identify the legislature, executive, and judiciary as our three branches of government.

*Forty percent of college graduates have no idea that corporate profits equal revenues minus expenses. (Thus, congressional demagoguery about “windfall profits” falls on sympathetic ears.) Only 24 percent of college grads realize that the First Amendment forbids the establishment of an official U.S. religion.

*Amazingly enough, this sample’s 164 self-identified elected officials know even less than laymen. They averaged only 44, as the blind lead the bland. Among office holders, 30 percent did not know that the Declaration of Independence heralds “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.”

Obama-King of Fools – HUMAN EVENTS

Trying to explain how our economy works and why lowering taxes is always better for them and their country, than imposing higher taxes is an economic bridge too far for many of the Obama sheep. Unfortunately there is no “See Spot & the Economy Run” book for the hooked on phonics crowd. Many of these numbskulls can’t balance a check book or spell “e-c-o-n-o-m-i-c-s” but they sure know who will give them stuff. The lie is impossible.

Expecting these idiotscitizens to have analyzed the tax positions of Obama and McCain and arrive at a decision that truly benefits them and America is wishful thinking. The reason is that they know zilch about how the economy operates and worse, don’t care. Bama will take care of us. Four very scary things-a sow grizzly with cubs at closerange, a coiled rattlesnake in striking distance, me in a rental car in the left lane, and dunces with credit cards.

And indeed they are dunces, products of a tax burning, failed public education system. That is, if they even bothered to complete high school. They don’t read newspapers or books, and even if they did, I got twenty bucks that says they couldn’t comprehend what they read. They are morons in the first degree. And clearly, they vote.

If and when President Obama attempts to impose his wrong-headed, punitive tax structure, their stupidity is going to come back to thump them upside their vacuous heads with a very painful crowbar of reality. The economy works in strange and wondrous ways and has a unique way of severely punishing fools. Rare justice is a beautiful thing.

These dunderheads have no clue how the economic mess was largely caused by Democrats, including Obama. But Obama, recognizing how gullible, naive and dumb many of his supporters are, drummed it into them that the economic mess was caused by President Bush and the Republicans and that he is going to give 95% of Americans a tax cut when 40% of Americans don’t even pay any federal taxes. Investing deception capital in the stupidity of his supporters was a very wise move on Obama’s part. That is if you don’t really care about anything except getting elected.

Obama’s stated agenda will bring carbon cap and trade taxes on us and hinder the use of fuels that produce CO2. Those like him who believe rising CO2 is causing global warming are either very ignorant of the latest facts or they are purposely being deceptive in order to expand global governance over everyone. “We urge the United States government to reject the global warming agreement that was written in Kyoto, Japan in December, 1997, and any other similar proposals. The proposed limits on greenhouse gases would harm the environment, hinder the advance of science and technology, and damage the health and welfare of mankind.

“There is no convincing scientific evidence that human release of carbon dioxide, methane, or other greenhouse gasses is causing or will, in the foreseeable future, cause catastrophic heating of the Earth’s atmosphere and disruption of the Earth’s climate. Moreover, there is substantial scientific evidence that increases in atmospheric carbon dioxide produce many beneficial effects upon the natural plant and animal environments of the Earth.”

Let me assure you that we’re not in good humor, nor take it kindly to be slurred and ridiculed by taking the other side in this debate. And our numbers are still growing. Indeed, we’re angry that the vast majority of American Scientists will not be heard by the media. We’re dismayed over the fact that the Global Warming fiasco has become politically popular and expedient to those left-wing politicians and power-brokers whose sole aim is to literally tax everything with a carbon footprint and give them control over all life, hidden within their PC guileful pretence to save the planet. They wish to save no one but themselves.

And the tide turns further. Of the 2500 originally aligned scientists and putative authors of the UN’s IPCC report some 500 are no longer faithful to Big Al’s errand. Many of these scientists discovered that their individual findings and comments were willfully misrepresented. All participant conclusions were unilaterally changed to adhere strictly to the United Nations objective of building support for world taxation and rationing of industrially useful energy. Since the original IPCC report (and there have been some 4 others now formally issued), the defecting 500 scientists have issued public statements challenging global warming. Approximately 100 of these scientists are now open defectors. Others are currently suing the UN for the misuse of their good names and research. It is difficult to see why a thinking person would even consider the IPCC report as legitimate.

The entire IPCC process is but obfuscation by the secular and atheist Left. It has allowed the Left to conflate the vanity of secular opinion with scientific and/or moral truth. There is an easy and immediate remedy for their debacle. Will Rogers stated it simply: “When you are in a hole … stop digging…. Please!”

President Bush, Obama and McCain and most of the Congress and the Senate all sang the Hank Paulson blues to America. The 700 Billion figure was just a figure pulled out of thin air because they did not think they could sell over a trillion dollars to the American people. At first they did not have the votes but then they added $150 billion in pork to buy the votes they needed. Now Paulson is taking the money and doing the exact oppose that he said he was going to do with it. Much of the money was given to a few bank who did not need it but had no choice but to take it. On the one hand they are telling these banks that they forced to take money to tighten up there lending requirements and on the other hand they are saying they need to lend out more money. The 46 Billion loan to AIG is now up to $150 Billion. The Fanny May Freddie Mac bailout is going to cost much more than they ever let on.

There will be hundreds of hands out for the remaining piece of the money pie. Taxpayers will be given the choice to make more money pies or lose their jobs. The bill to the taxpayers in any case will probably exceed two trillions dollars and that will not include the cost of falling government revenues in a recession. Then the government thinks they can finance trillions of dollars in additional debt to world suckers at less than the world inflation rate? More likely the government will be forced to just print additional dollars to pay the debt which will make the dollar crash like a rock bringing the U.S. a much greater financial disaster.

This is what happens when Americans let government morons try to manage things like they actually know what they are doing. If these people had any brains to start with they would not be working for the government. Now Americans will put a President in place who wants the government to manage just about everything ranging from health care, to energy, to climate. It seems to me the American people deserve the Demented Delusional or Dumb Club Award for knowing nothing, being the most gullible people on earth and trusting their own future to these morons running the Federal government.

The White House says: “We’ll just trust our treasury secretary to implement the program.” President Bush insists “government’s role will be limited and temporary.” Meanwhile, Democratic Rep. Barney Frank is shrugging off the lack of bailout disclosure by both the Federal Reserve and Treasury. But as I reminded readers before this latest bait-and-switch admission, Hank Paulson is not to be trusted. I repeat:

This is the man who proclaimed the subprime crisis “largely contained” in April 2007; “near the bottom” in May 2007; and “largely contained” again in August 2007. This is the man who pledged that he had “no interest in bailing out lenders or property speculators” in October 2007 and couldn’t “think of any situation where the backdrop of the global economy was as healthy as it is today.”

This is the man who patted himself on the back for refusing to “put taxpayer money on the line” to rescue Lehman Brothers on Sept. 15 — and then turned around the next day and engineered the $85 billion taxpayer-funded bailout of AIG. This is the man who vowed he had “no plans to insert money” into Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac — and then turned around and committed $200 billion in capital and credit lines to those corrupt, bloated, crumbling institutions.

This is the man who declared that “the worst is likely to be behind us” in May 2008.

I honestly don’t hold a lot of hope in this upcoming presidential election. I have a sinking feeling that Obama is going to win. Perhaps not by the landslide he hopes, but a miss is as good as a mile (as they say), so we’re faced with the prospect of “change” being forced on us in the next four years whether we like it or not.

How could this happen? How did America, the land of the free and the home of the brave, get to this point? It’s because we have become dogs. We sit on command. We stay. We roll over. We beg. Oh boy do we beg.

Obama’s platform – and yes, to a lesser extent McCain’s – is based in socialism, pure and simple. Our wealth will be spread around, our housing and medical care will be taken out of the private sector and nationalized, thus becoming (ahem) “free.” Our right to bear arms will be severely infringed, and in all other respects our constitutionally guaranteed American rights will go to hell in a handbasket.

Throughout history, people have spent lifetimes trying to break free from the chains of bondage. Here in the U.S., for the first time in the course of human events, our Founding Fathers achieved that concept – first through the Declaration of Independence, later supplemented with the 13th Amendment. And now, 232 years later, we are happily and voluntarily fettering ourselves with chains much thicker, heavier and oppressive than England ever imposed upon us in the height of King George’s insanity.

All because we’ve become dogs. We roll over in submission for someone to scratch our bellies. We cower when we’re smacked with a newspaper. We beg for treats. Our world implodes when our masters are angry with us.

Pastor charged with felony for spanking son

A Wisconsin pastor has been charged with felony physical abuse of a child after he spanked his 12-year-old son for lying and a teacher notified social services.

Barry W. Barnett Jr., 43, of Poynette, Wis., is free on a $10,000 bond, but he could face up to three years in prison and fines for disciplining his son, the local Portage Daily Register reported.

At the pastor’s hearing, Barnett’s son said his father was right to spank him .

“He gave me a chance to tell him the truth, and I just kept lying to him,” the boy said.

The boy said his father gave him two “swats” that “hurt a little” on his rear end in June. He told authorities both he and his dad cried while he was disciplined.

The 12-year-old said he was warned he might receive a spanking if he continued to act up and that he understands what he did was wrong.

“You should not lie to your parents and you should not go to places (where you are not allowed),” he said.

One of his siblings mentioned the spanking to a teacher, who called social services, according to the report.

The insane foreign policy of Clinton and Bush toward North Korea just might cause the rise of another major nuclear power in the world. Japan could be a nuclear superpower in a few years after they make a decision to go nuclear. Japan has a large amount of plutonium, they have the rockets and they know how to build nukes.

North Korea has been playing us the fool for decades and our leadership will do anything to be in the good graces of the “Dear Leader” of North Korea even though allowing North Korea to retain nuclear weapons threatens our friends. This sham operation on their reactor does not reduce N. Korea’s nuclear capabilities one bit yet we took them off the state terrorist list even though they recently gave nuclear material to Syria and who knows who else.

Now it appears that we will treat them like friends until the next time they stab us in the back. Their murderous human rights abuses alone should keep them right on top of the list of terrorists nations. This is more of the same liberal postmodernism that believes that there are no evil people we just need to talk to them and find common ground and they will come around and see the light. We have a State Department full of nincompoops who have drunk the Kool-Aid of the “Dear Leaders” cult nation!

Allowing a nuclear North Korea puts us under constant danger of an EMP attack ourselves and the threat of North Korea exporting their nuclear material to other terrorist nations or groups. People who put Japan and ourselves under this risk should be locked up in a rubber room where they cannot harm anyone. If our loony foreign policies decisions result in a nuclear Japan we might as will give up on nuclear non-proliferation. Then each nation can prepare its own nukes for the certain doomsday that will come.

Far Eastern Economic Review | Will Japan Go Nuclear?

Japan is furious because the Bush administration, in its dying days, has done exactly what it accused the Clintonites of doing—rewarding North Korea for bad behavior. Why? Because the North Koreans are masters of brinkmanship, blackmail and extortion. They have exploited Bush’s need for a foreign policy “legacy.”

We have seen this movie before. North Korea has just “sold” its nuclear reactor at Yongbyon for the third time since 1994, and for an even higher price. In return for the usual promises that North Korea will dismantle Yongbyon, the United States will provide even more fuel aid than under the 1994 and 2007 agreements.

With North Korea now removed from the State department’s list of states that sponsor terrorism, it will be eligible for direct U.S. aid, as well as international loans and other benefits. The United States also expects Japan to help pay for this new agreement.

But Japan is balking. Indeed, it has reason to fear that the North Koreans, once they have pocketed these concessions, will present other demands. These might include a “nonaggression pact” with America and a “peace treaty” that will include the removal of remaining U.S. forces from South Korea.

And what of America’s previous insistence that North Korean “denuclearization” be complete, verifiable and irreversible? Gone, but covered by a fig leaf. North Korea will not be required to own up to its uranium-enrichment program, hidden underground. Nor will it be required to give up the six to a dozen nuclear weapons that it has already built. And North Korea won’t be held to account for its proliferation of fissile material to places such as Syria and Iran.

The article below is a very thought provoking article. No rational nation should willfully take this risk and put itself in this position. Be it Hitler, Mao or Chavez the socialists often first get in power through a popular election. After that they change the nation to conform to their own image. Do you really think Obama will not attempt to do that? If so you are naive. He will have the Congress in his pocket and he will appoint to the Supreme Court only those that believe in a living Constitution. That means the end of the America that your forefathers set up.

Why is Obama now in this position? Ask Oprah? Ask the CFR. When Obama talks about more government regulation he is not at all kidding, he is dead serious. He will want to control everything and even at the local level he will set up neighborhood groups to establish control. Obama was created by, promoted by and is a puppet of extreme Far Left radical globalists. Their worldview is certainly not the worldview of most America’s.

If you think government does not listen to the people now just wait until Obama, Reed and Pelosi and a liberal Supreme Court control everything from how much energy you can use, to what you can say in public, to guns.

American Thinker: What If Obama Doesn’t Have America’s Best Interests at Heart?

I have known many “players” in my life, notably in big corporations, who might have easily written, as Obama has, that they “serve as a blank screen on which people of vastly different political stripes project their own views.” All of them turned out to be the ones who truly did have malicious intent. They were the ones who were survival-of-the-fittest professionals, ready to adapt to any circumstance and say whatever had to be said in order to win the game. They were the ones who built careers on the backs of people of more substance but less savvy, people who were either forced or were willing to lie face-down and be walked on. They were the ones whose artful dishonesty came with eloquence and a smile, concealing designs that were, in the end, hardly conceivable as virtuous. Often — very often — they were completely unqualified to lead. Always they found majorities who loved them.

The reaction to Obama by the people of America is disturbing, to say the least. I have not seen anything quite like it in America. Ronald Reagan, for example, was also very popular, but his name evoked enthusiasm and, at his death, reverence. But never the sort of idolatry inspired by Obama. Even Obama’s detractors do not seem to loathe him, at least not in the way that they have loathed the Clintons or Gore or Kerry. I have heard more than one Republican say, “Well, if I have to put up with him for four or more years, at least he’s tolerable.” Obama’s mass appeal is uncommon and frightening.

So, I am now imagining a very real scenario — similar to what I have seen on a smaller scale in the corporate world — about to be played out on a national, and possibly global, level. Our country seems to be ready to put into the seat of power a man — good-looking, charismatic, silver-tongued, to be sure — who has almost no experience, has never served in an executive capacity, has barely held a real job, and has no record of success other than his remarkable campaign.

This is a man who in less than two years has arisen as a political messiah. He has mesmerized an emergent block of college-age voters (whose chief sources of information, by the way, are comedians). He has inspired “Obama youth” corps and Maoist-style choirs of praise. He has been dubbed “the One” by his Matrix-saturated worshippers. He has captured the hearts and minds of half of America, nearly all of the media, and most of the world itself.

If Obama is just another bumbling Democrat, who, armed with a lot of really bad policies, simply wants to do America proud, well, then, if elected, he will muddle through the next four to eight years trying to implement change, will be hindered by the American political system, will enervate liberals and thus energize conservatives, and, eventually, the tide will turn. Like the aftermath of a very disagreeable season, we will have weathered the storm, will survey the damage, and will send in the rescue teams to rebuild.

But then again: What if Obama doesn’t have America’s best interest at heart? What if his candidacy has to do with the willful and radical recreation of the country, one that embraces Marxist ideals, i.e., socialism in some form or another? What if the “change we can believe in” — the central theme of his campaign — is directed subversion of the Republic in favor of the sort of Utopian, collectivist state that radicals like Bill Ayers have been dreaming of since the Sixties?

Who needs revolution when one can use evolution? If Congress turns decidedly left, Obama will have a good chance to help the Supreme Court do the same. At that point, the Left’s idea of a “living” Constitution, which allows interpretation to supplant the process of amendment, will be used to make us all believers.

Did you know the $700 billion bail out bill was really about $850 billion after all the pork was added? That is how they changed votes. They bribed each vote with pork. We are seeing today how good the bailout did, as of this writing the stock market is down about 10 percent since the great rescue bill was signed a few days ago. Guess what? Our champions of fiscal responsibility running for President signed the bill with $112 billion of pork added. In the last debate they were arguing about saving some of the $16 billion in earmark spending. However, they just signed a bill that contained $112 Billion in pork in one shot and our dumb president signed it without even reading it. Someone might think that they all need to take some Zanax or were being blackmailed. Who knows, those who hold our dollars like China and the oil rich states may have given them an ultimatum. Pass the bail-out bill or the dollar goes down the toilet. That’s about the only thing that explains the panic.

If McCain or Obama still have the gall to lie in our face about cutting pork everyone should turn off their TV’s or walk out of there rallies. Why enable liars? What good will it be to try to save me a pork chop in the future when you just proved to America that you will vote for a huge pork feast.

Believe me, the bail-outs are not over. The FDIC will now need $200 billion to bail out the failing banks, State governments will need bailing out, Unemployment insurance will need bailing out and many more taxpayer bailouts will come in the future. Tax revenues will also fall and taxes are likely to be cut to stimulate the economy. By the time we get through this crises (if we do) we could easily be $15 trillion in debt. Those nations who are bailing us out now with low interest rate loans are not likely to do so after this crises is past for the world. But we will still have $15 trillion of debt to service at a interest rate given to a nation that spends way beyond its means. Think about what that means to this nation in the future.

The bail-a-holics

The truth is most lawmakers voted to pass the bill but don’t have a clue what is in this 500-plus page legislation, which was birthed in the White House just two weeks ago as an infant of only three pages. It was then voted down at the Capitol a week later in its adolescent-sized 100 pages. And of course, in good bureaucratic fashion, it passed mature criteria when it was more than five times the size and packed with governmental goodies. And the president signed it just an hour after receiving it from Capitol Hill on Friday – I guess that speed reading course paid off.

In the fine print, inserted between the lines of that 500-plus page bill, are loads of fiscal additives and more financial toxic relief. Yes, the rumors are true. H.R. 1424 – Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008, which has now been signed into law, officially includes more than $112 billion in political hors d’oeuvres and pork barrel additives that have absolutely no direct relation to the Wall Street bailout. Among them are:

* $6 million in tax breaks for wooden arrow manufacturers in Oregon;
* $148 million in tax breaks for wool-producing companies,
* $128 million in tax breaks for the manufacturers of car racing tracks;
* $10 million in tax breaks to small television and film producers;
* $223 million in tax breaks for Alaskan fisherman;
* $33 million for corporations operating in American Samoa;
* $192 million in tax breaks for rum producers in the Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.

What the &^%$#@?! And that’s just a drop in the bailout bucket. And We the Taxpayers are just supposed to sit back and take it in the arrears?

All is not lost, yet. We still have a voice in this bailout – it’s in the ballot box in November’s elections. The remedy for our country is clear: Congress doesn’t need another bailout, but a roundhouse kick right out the door. I plead with you to join me and millions of others in a voter revolution – to oust political and congressional corruption and stalemate. If representatives from your state and districts voted to pass this bailout bill and gamble nearly $1 trillion of our children’s and grandchildren’s taxpaying money, in addition to showing the reckless fiscal behavior of stuffing such a bill with perks and pork, you must not re-elect any such wayward incumbent.

Not only do ignoramuses like Joe Biden and Katie Couric not even know that FDR was not President in 1929 they fail to understand that the Great depression did not end anywhere near 1929. In fact, it started in the 1930’s and it lasted for over a decade through most of FDR’s Presidency, It took the military expansion for World War II to get us out of the great depression. Also Joe Biden said FDR went on TV in 1929. There was no TV in those days.

In another article, 14 lies or wrong statements were documented from Joe Biden in his Vice Presidential debate with Sarah Palin. He seems to either have no clue on the facts or he is purposely deceptive.

This article also points out the fact that Joe Biden was only one of five senators who voted against the Alaskan pipeline. Think of the situation we would be in now had that pipeline not been built. Can you imagine Joe Biden sitting and advising the President and constantly getting the facts he tells him wrong.

Other than that, the statement holds up pretty well. At least Biden managed to avoid mentioning any “clean” Negroes he had met.

Couric was nearly moved to tears by the brilliance of Biden’s brain-damaged remark. She was especially intrigued by Biden’s claim that FDR had said the new iPhone was the bomb!

Why would anyone think a demented mind mocker like Maher could know anything about Christianity or religion? Bill Maher is a prime example of a demonic person full of their own self enlightenment. The only thing this move will prove is that some people will watch anything in the theaters these days. “Religulous,” comedian Bill Maher’s new movie attacking Christianity and religion, is full of lies, half-truths, false assumptions, logical contradictions and fallacies, distortions, intolerance, prejudice, bigotry, arrogance, ignorance, and hypocrisy. Opening Oct. 3, the movie is a pathetic propaganda piece that will warp the hearts and minds of the gullible and the ignorant. It is also very poorly researched and argued.

At the end, Maher launches into a diatribe comparing all religious leaders and believers, including President George Bush, to evil and ignorant Muslim terrorists. After making that overbroad generalization, Maher angrily denounces people of faith for being too certain and too judgmental. He then tells them that it is actually more “humble” to acknowledge doubts and belief in God and religion, like he does.

It is telling that none of the Christians Maher talks to in “Religulous,” not even Father Coyne, actually makes their living as professional biblical scholars or history scholars, much less as professional Christian debaters. Thus, all the alleged evidence that Maher summons against Christianity and religious faith in his movie is about as empirically and logically one-sided and invalid as you can possible get!

Of course, at the same time Maher accuses his opponents of these nasty things, he is doing the same things that he just accused them of doing. Maher’s tirade is not only logically self-contradictory, and, hence, irrational, it is also hypocritical. Instead of pointing fingers at religious people, especially Christians, Maher needs to look at himself in the mirror!

The unexpected happened today the 700 billion dollar bailout plan failed in the House. The main reason it failed is Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s big mouth. She knew they had a close vote in the House but she just could not resist the temptation to use the biggest financial crises in modern times to rail in front of the whole House against the Bush administration and the Republicans just before the all important vote. Thus she lost the vote from some republicans. Leaders should know when to speak and when to keep their mouths shut but not Nancy “I am trying to save the world” Pelosi. She is not even in control of herself.

So a bill that would have brought us on a path to state socialism failed today but you can be certain they will try to bring it back by the end of the week. Now we will probably see a huge sell off in the markets and that will be all that it takes to get the votes. Nevertheless, in the next few days firms are going to fail and many are likely to lose entire fortunes.

A rescue of some sort is probably necessary or the whole world will go into a great depression very quickly but I will tell you why I think any short delay is good.

Everything has been way overvalued for quite some time now. The Stock Market is still almost double where it should be. People say we lost over a trillion dollars in the stock market today and while that is true on paper the wealth really was never there to start with. Overvalued paper is not wealth. So yeah, the government could have propped up the overvalued paper for awhile but that is only a short term fix. The only real fix is to let the overvalued paper go to the value it is really worth. Sure, that will take away over half of peoples retirement savings etc. but I am telling you much of your wealth was an illusion to start with, you never really had it. You cannot get double digit returns for decades when the economy is going nowhere and not expect a crash to come eventually.

A nation cannot keep spending much more than they have anymore than you can. Lets face it Ron Paul was right on our economic situation. The wealth they claimed was there was never there. It was a con game and a pyramid scheme that they they used to gamble with. So the more things drop to the real value of all that paper we are holding before the government steps in the sooner we can return to anything close to fiscal sanity. A prop up by the government at artificially high levels will only work until the next financial shock. This crises will not be over even with a massive bailout.

It is not all about the United States either. Global markets are also in panic and not just because of what is happening in the United States. Britain is entering a housing crises similar to ours and Spain’s housing and debt situation is even worse. Inflation is high in most countries of the world and a world recession is almost a certainty. That will bring rapidly falling oil prices and the oil rich nations that were buying debt will get very tight very quickly. That means interest rates will soar to service our debt before long and that is another crises coming for us. Russia’s economy is based almost entirely on energy exports and Europe is dependent on Russia’s energy so what blackmail will they try to pull on Europe this winter?

In any case, welcomed to the worst economic collapse of our time and it really does not matter much in the long term what our government does to try to shore up the dike. It can be a slow collapse or a fast collapse but things here are going to collapse much like in the old Soviet Union. And that’s probably the good news. Stay tuned for the bad news.

I just read two articles today Sept 30th by Jimmy De Young and Garry Kah that make a lot of sense and add to what I said here yesterday. De Young points out that many bankers are Jewish and this could bring Jewish persecution. I basically said the same thing on a comment on another blog because guess who economic losers always blame in the final analysis?

Garry Kah’s article makes several good points about our banking crises and where it might lead and I agree with most of his points. He also said the world finnancal crises is likely to help bring persecution to the Jews they have a history of becoming the scapegoats. I think Ann Coulter, Pat Buchanan and Harry Lamb wrote a couple of good articles that might tell you a few things about the root cause of the day of reckoning that is upon America and how it will also bring the next day of reckoning due to our massive deficit spending. I am not saying there were not other factors. This day would have come anyway due to the greed of many and the socialism of others but what Coulter, Buchanan and Lamb write about is a good part of the reason why this economic shock is now playing out before your very eyes.

They Gave Your Mortgage to a Less Qualified Minority, by Ann Coulter

Under Clinton, the entire federal government put massive pressure on banks to grant more mortgages to the poor and minorities. Clinton’s secretary of Housing and Urban Development, Andrew Cuomo, investigated Fannie Mae for racial discrimination and proposed that 50 percent of Fannie Mae’s and Freddie Mac’s portfolio be made up of loans to low- to moderate-income borrowers by the year 2001.

Instead of looking at “outdated criteria,” such as the mortgage applicant’s credit history and ability to make a down payment, banks were encouraged to consider nontraditional measures of credit-worthiness, such as having a good jump shot or having a missing child named “Caylee.”

Threatening lawsuits, Clinton’s Federal Reserve demanded that banks treat welfare payments and unemployment benefits as valid income sources to qualify for a mortgage. That isn’t a joke — it’s a fact.

In 1999, liberals were bragging about extending affirmative action to the financial sector. Los Angeles Times reporter Ron Brownstein hailed the Clinton administration’s affirmative action lending policies as one of the “hidden success stories” of the Clinton administration, saying that “black and Latino homeownership has surged to the highest level ever recorded.”

Meanwhile, economists were screaming from the rooftops that the Democrats were forcing mortgage lenders to issue loans that would fail the moment the housing market slowed and deadbeat borrowers couldn’t get out of their loans by selling their houses.

Now, at a cost of hundreds of billions of dollars, middle-class taxpayers are going to be forced to bail out the Democrats’ two most important constituent groups: rich Wall Street bankers and welfare recipients.

Political correctness had already ruined education, sports, science and entertainment. But it took a Democratic president with a Democratic congress for political correctness to wreck the financial industry.

So it was not all about greedy lenders it is about Democratic Party socialist liberals pushing affirmative action lending plans and regulations that forced the lenders to make them lend to the unqualified.

Day of Reckoning, by Pat Buchanan

Here is a bit of what Pat Buchanan has to say on this issue and some of it is the same except Pat blames the liberal in both parties:

Had there not been a steady and constant infusion of easy money and credit into the U.S. economy by the Fed, for years on end, a housing bubble of the magnitude of the one that has just exploded could never have been created.

Had the politicians of both parties not coerced and pressured banks, S&Ls, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to make all those sub-prime mortgages, then to tie this rotten paper to good paper, convert it into securities and sell to banks all over the world, there would have been no global financial crisis.

Had they seen this coming and acted sooner, the Federal Reserve and U.S. Treasury would not today, like Henny Penny, be crying, “The sky is falling!” and the end times are at hand, unless we give them 5 percent of our gross domestic product to buy up suspect securities backed by sub-prime mortgages.

Looking at all the money being ladled out by the U.S. government to prevent a collapse, and the diminished revenue coming in, it is hard to see how America avoids future deficits that reach $1 trillion a year. These will imperil both the dollar itself and the ability of the United States, which saves nothing, to borrow from the rest of the world. The downsizing of America is at hand.

Yes, indeed, we have arrived at the Day of Reckoning for Uncle Sam.

The meltdown in the financial markets has caused the finger of blame to spin like a weathervane in a hurricane. The underlying cause of the debacle, however, has been largely ignored. Driven by “progressive” Democrats and Republicans, the cause is the relentless shift from a free market economy to a socialist economy.

The piper must be paid. The question is whether to do it now – and let the chips fall where they may, or, to kick the can down the road and pay the piper later. The answer, of course, is to kick the can into the next generation, with another leap toward socialism. The bailout plan – whatever the particulars – is nothing short of a government takeover of the financial industry. The next president will have to sort it out and build the road toward future recovery or final disaster.

Barack Obama’s incessant drumbeat about the failure of the economic policies of the last eight years is either gross ignorance or, more likely, political blame shifting. The cause of the current meltdown is clearly the Democrat’s insistence upon giving federally guaranteed mortgages to people who could not afford them. Even now, Democrats insist, not on the minimum government involvement possible, but on adding all sorts of give-away ornaments on the bailout Christmas tree. Obama is also promising to take over the energy industry, the health industry, and to give tax credits and even refunds to some people with money he shamelessly takes from others. This is redistribution of wealth – pure socialism.

McCain may be only marginally better, but any deterrent to the Democrats’ determined transformation of America to unabashed socialism should be welcomed. Despite the U.N.’s declaration to the contrary, no person has a “right” to housing. If Democrats prevail and continue their pursuit of the U.N’.s goal of universal socialism, America can expect to experience the same total collapse experienced by the Soviet Union.

I said in a prior post that future budget deficits were going to go way up and It matters not who becomes President, the deficits will happen as sure as night follows day and if foreigners ever stop buying our debt this present crises will be nothing compared to the time when we can no longer sell our debt to the world. In the future we will have to do the bidding of the lenders (China & Oil rich nations) or face complete economic collapse.

In spite of what you have been told the U.S. has the largest oil potential than any other known area in the world. We have enough oil in shale to last for hundreds of years. If we actually went all out to produce these resources we could be a oil exporter in a few decades. By the way, Shale oil can be recovered with present technology with little environmental impact and produce gasoline for less than $2 a gallon but since it is on federal land congress has put it off limits for energy development.

So frankly the energy shortage has more to do with politics than anything else. When you have two trillion barrels of oil in reserve and 1/4 of the coal deposits on earth you do not have a energy shortage unless certain people want you to have an energy shortage.

American Thinker: The Myth of No Oil

Predictions of nationwide oil supply exhaustion soon became regular occurrences, with seven made prior to 1950[2], even though the United States was the world’s largest crude oil producer until 1973. Indeed, through the mid-1980’s, most oil consumed in the country was of domestic origin. Today, however, the United States imports the majority of its oil and, due to environmental regulations, has not authorized the construction of new refineries since the mid-1970s.

Yet, our country does not lack adequate oil resources. Rather, supply estimate methodologies seriously undercount our true oil resources. This and our lack of political will to use advanced recovery technologies contribute to the myth of no oil. This myth hobbles our ability to draw on our own existing resources and keeps us in a dependent posture, looking to others to provide for us.

A potentially significant supply of oil is trapped in shale in the American West. Rocks in Colorado, Utah and Wyoming alone are believed to contain over 1,500 billion barrels of oil. Previous government experiments with shale oil production were labor and energy intensive and environmentally disruptive, producing little oil. But efforts by private companies have revolutionized the extraction technology with development of an in situ process of heating rocks, trapping oil and extracting it profitably at oil prices of just over $30 a barrel. Shell Oil, the leader in this new technology, estimates that it will be able to produce one million barrels of oil per acre.

Meanwhile, it is estimated that oil production from tar sands in Canada and South America would add an additional 600 billion barrels to the world’s supply.[5] Canada, which does not segregate conventional oil from tar sands, is currently the largest U.S. oil supplier with about half of Canadian crude derived from oil sands. This oil is forecast to reach 3 million barrels per day in 2015. The Economist[6] recently noted that there exist “174 billion barrels of proven reserves in the oil sands of Alberta” alone.

Another technology, coal liquefaction to produce oil, becomes competitive when the price of conventional oil is higher than $30 per barrel, according to U.S. Energy Department estimates. The coal-to-oil process produces natural gas and removes pollutants that are released when coal is burned to produce electricity. With the United States possessing 27% of the world’s coal supply, U.S. coal-to-oil production could be substantial. South Africa has been producing petrol and diesel from coal since 1955 and currently produces 40% of the country’s oil from this source.
