Sovereign states taking victory from the coming federal tyranny

An Obama Victory in 2012 is very likely for the reasons stated in this article. The solution to constitutional abuses by the federal government is also the one stated. States and local governments simply do not have to go along with unconstitutional federal decrees because each State in this Union has sovereignty to decide its own fate. Sure, that means that the federal government will attempt to blackmail and intimidate local governments by cutting off federal funding but States can also withhold taxes to the federal government and secede from the Union if necessary. When that happens federal government will obviously use federal forces and expose themselves to all American patriots as the out of control central government that they will have become. When Heartland America wakes up some States will get victory from federal tyranny.

American Thinker: How Barack Obama Will Ensure His Victory in 2012

The coup de grace Obama will use against rightist opposition is mostly embodied in one word: Amnesty. This, along with some other measures, will both grow the Hispanic voting block and ingratiate Obama to it. This will enable him to create a powerful coalition of blacks, young voters and Hispanics that, along with the older whites he will be able to retain, will constitute an insurmountable electoral force. And this is why amnesty has long been a dream of the Democrats. Even easier than brainwashing new voters (which the media and academia specialize in) is importing them.

But having a water-carrying mainstream media isn’t enough — the left will also try to stifle voices that would report the truth. To this end, they will attempt to reinstitute the Fairness Doctrine. And although it may be ruled unconstitutional by the Supreme Court of two years hence, this may not be the case once Obama has the opportunity to appoint two or three justices. Also lying further down the road may be hate-speech laws, which target “hate” about as much as legislation that would destroy talk radio ensures fairness. They already exist in most of the western world and, incredibly, some judges actually view this as precedent. Ruth Bader-Ginsberg, that affirmative-action appointee, said herself that the Internet makes other nations’ court rulings readily available and that we should learn from them. Said she, “[As judges and lawyers] we must look beyond our borders, to the laws and constitutions of other nations.” By the way, some people call this a judicial philosophy. I call it malfeasance and treason.

So this is our probable dystopian reality. Yet we do have some recourse. And here is what I recommend for now.

The Founding Fathers meant for us to be a nation of states, not a nation state; they intended for most power to rest on the state level and for localities to largely shape their own destinies. We must embrace this model with boldness and vigor. Huge swaths of our nation are now in the pocket of the left, but there are yet bastions of light wherein traditionalists can hold sway. In these places, campaign hard and seize control of the local governments. Then, resist any and every unconstitutional mandate.

We must win the war against drug cartels in Mexico and our inner cities

No Gravatar

If Mexico does not win this battle on drug trafficking we will end up with a hostile nation on our south border. Then we will be forced to send our military to defend our south border. The first thing we need to do is to start posting that anyone crossing into the U.S. illegally from Mexico is subject to deadly force and give our border patrol the weapons, technology and the backing to carry out that policy.

I don’t care what some are saying about the danger this would bring to the innocent illegals that are only coming across to make a living. They are only coming across now because they know they can. Besides, they are already in great danger by those who smuggle them like cattle along with their drugs – hundreds die each year. Common people in Mexico will soon get the message that you do not cross into the U.S illegally if we truly enforce our borders.

How do Liberal “compassionate” supporters of illegal entry rationalize that this policy is causing thousands of deaths and lawlessness in Mexico? Not to mention that drug running across our south border helps to kill many thousands of Americans and ruin the lives of millions through drug addiction. Is that compassion? Sometimes you need tough laws to protect people from the greedy predators of the world.

They say if we tighten up enforcement of our borders some poor workers might get killed but they totally ignore the fact that many thousands are being killed and that whole nations are being subverted by drug cartels.

Sometimes you have to fight to protect a civil society. Do sane people want drug cartels running Mexico? I assure you it will not have a good outcome. Now is the time to put pressure on our own government to join forces with President Calderon to ruthlessly crush the drug cartels. We also need to crush drug gangs in our own nation that have virtually taken over our inner cities. Now please don’t talk to me about the gang’s civil rights when the civil rights of millions of city dwellers have already been taken away by the gangs.

New Mexican ‘revolución’ crosses border, infects U.S.

In the 18 months since President Felipe Calderon took office vowing to defeat the cartels, the Mexican army, increasingly equipped with modern American-made arms, vehicles and communication, has been deployed across the country in a running battle against the cartels. The death toll is rising. The cartels have executed more than 4,000 people: judges, police chiefs and officers, mayors, military commanders and rival gang members, in a continuing battle over control of territory, particularly in the states of Chihuahua, Sinaloa and Durango. Portions of the Mexican army have been compromised, and many Mexican soldiers are now cartel enforcers.

The danger now is that revenue from smuggling is so great that cartels can not only bribe officials to get their way, but they can permanently buy off (or kill off) key army, government, political and media figures, rendering Mexico a state dominated by the cartels. Things can get much worse in Mexico than they are today. And that means, things can get much worse for America, too. President Calderon deserves U.S. support as he fights the smuggling cartels for control of Mexico

The deadly domestic war

No Gravatar

Those who rant about the war in Iraq might consider the domestic war in the U.S. It is far more destructive.

War on 2 fronts: Abroad … and at home

Eminent historians Will and Ariel Durant said, “The family is the nucleus of civilization.” As bad as the Iraq war and its costs are, the battles here on our own soil are worse. And costlier.

We’d better call for an all-out “surge” in this domestic war, while we still have the resources, courage – and liberty – to do it.

The Area 51 solution to illegal border crossings.

No Gravatar

If Chuck Norris were the head of Homeland Security we would really have homeland security. The Area 51 solution would punch the lights out of the drug runners and terrorists coming across our borders.

Border fence fiasco

If these solutions don’t stop the tides of illegal flow in and out of our borders, a friend of mine has a Texas-tough alternative and answer to replace the government’s virtual fence failure. In fact, he says, we don’t need a security fence at all. All we need to do is to post signs and position manned trucks at key points, just like our government does at Area 51, the top secret military airfield in remote central Nevada, around which there are no fences or walls. There is never a breach or unwanted border crossing there, at least that we hear about! And why? Because the boundary sign reads and is never questioned, “Warning: Use of deadly force authorized.”

We will show them, let’s just build a border fence that will not work

No Gravatar

The Federal government could have built a double wired patrolled fence like patriot groups suggested. Now those who supported a fence that they knew could not work are saying we told you so. Some of us are not total idiots. If government knows how to build fences to keep people in they can also build fences to keep people out.

FOXNews.com – Feds Frustrated by Illegal Immigrants Passing Through Holes in New Border Fence – Local News | News Articles | National News | US News

Illegal immigrants armed with torches, hacksaws, ladders and even bungee cords are making it around a section of the border fence hailed as the most efficient way to stop them.

The border fence farce.

No Gravatar

Wake up America, nobody in the front running or in office have any intentions to finish the fence. When you get the next socialist administration the amnesty bill will sail through so fast that no one will be able to coordinate an opposition. After that national socialist laws will be passed to pay the social costs of all these new American citizens.

So much for the will of the people. Politicians simply do not give a damn about what the people in this country want and most people are too stupid to know or care about the impact this will have on America. Then all the recent state laws will be circumvented and we will will get what so many people fought to stop last year.

When they find themselves fighting for jobs in America with the new immigrants they may figure it all out but it will be a little too late to do anything about it.

When you elect a President that you know will not enforce the borders, uphold the constitution, and that will create a welfare state on the backs of hard working tax paying citizens you can just blame yourself.

Katrina Nation

Let it be said: Our border can be secured; the illegal aliens can be sent home; the magnets that draw them here can be turned off. This crisis can be resolved if the courage and will are there. Unfortunately, we have a government that does not seem to care and probable nominees neither of whom is committed in his heart to doing it.Given the manifest will of the people that this invasion from the south be halted and rolled back, the 2008 election is shaping up as yet further confirmation that American democracy is a fraud.

Ann Coulter implies that John McCain is Bob Dole without Dole’s good qualities.

I think Ann Colter has McCain figured out. I wonder why many conservative Republicans have not caught on?

clipped from www.worldnetdaily.com
John McCain is Bob Dole minus the charm, conservatism and youth. Like McCain,
pollsters assured us that Dole was the most “electable” Republican. Unlike
McCain, Dole didn’t lie all the time while claiming to engage in Straight Talk.Of course, I might lie constantly too, if I were seeking the Republican
presidential nomination after enthusiastically promoting amnesty for illegal
aliens, Social Security credit for illegal aliens, criminal trials for
terrorists, stem-cell research on human embryos, crackpot global warming
legislation and free speech-crushing campaign-finance laws.

I might lie too, if I had opposed the Bush tax cuts, a marriage amendment to
the Constitution, waterboarding terrorists and drilling in Alaska.

Another step to totalitarianism

No Gravatar

The control freaks of this nation want to tag, monitor, and track us like animals. They will accomplish this one step at a time until they achieve their goals. If people in this country allow these big Brother controls over themselves they will only have themselves to blame.

In the second half of the article it gives a good list of what can be done to stop illegals and terrorists in this country without this databasing of all Americans.

“In this age of terrorism and out-of-control illegal immigration, it is a
growing belief by many Americans that we must all be regulated, restricted, licensed, registered, directed, checked, inspected, measured, numbered, counted, stamped, authorized, fined, harassed, disarmed, exploited and taxed in the name of protection. Trouble is, that outlook is just plain wrong, and it isn’t freedom.”

Liberals sing ‘Huckelujah’

No Gravatar

Ann Coulter makes a pretty good case why no conservative would be singing the same tune as the Huckster

“Huckabee is a compassionate conservative” only in the sense that calling him a conservative is being compassionate.”

“He supports a nationwide smoking ban anyplace where people work,
constitutional protection for sodomy, big government, higher taxes and
government benefits for illegal aliens. According to my calculations, that
puts him about three earmarks away from being Nancy Pelosi

The Incredible Disappearing Border Fence

No Gravatar

The Incredible Disappearing Border Fence – HUMAN EVENTS: “More than a year after the law’s passage, the citizen watchdog group Grassfire reports that just five miles of double-layer fencing has been built in the first 12 months of implementation of the act. Five lousy miles. The Government Accountability Office claims 70 miles were erected — but most of that fencing failed to meet the specifications of the law.

Is Congress up in arms? Will there be accountability? Don’t make me snort. Instead of demanding that the law be enforced, the pols are sabotaging the law. As part of the omnibus spending package passed this week, House Democrats incorporated Senate Republicans’ provisions to remove the two-layer fencing requirements and the specific target list of fencing locations.”

They had no intentions of building the border security fence. It was all a sham for appeasement. They knew they would not fund the actual building of the fence that was required. They were just waiting for Americans to fall asleep like usual. If they really wanted a fence it would be built by now. Once the elections are over you can be sure there will be an amnesty bill that will get passed attached to some other bill over the wishes of the American people. The fact of the matter is that on every front the people have now lost control of government.

Bill guts border fence requirement

No Gravatar

WorldNetDaily: Bill guts border fence requirement: “‘Pulling back from the double-fence mandate is a prescription for failure that will only allow more smugglers, criminals and illegal aliens to enter the United States through our land border with Mexico,’ the California congressman added.
‘If enacted,’ Hunter concluded, ‘this legislation would represent a significant step backwards in the effort to secure our borders.’”

“I find it odd that such an important amendment which releases DHS from specific requirements of an existing law would be passed by a simple voice vote in the Senate and then buried in the massive omnibus bill,” Elliott said.
“The American people reasonably expect that a double-layer fence will be built, but Congress has always had other plans,” he argued. “This amendment should be stripped from the bill.”
Hunter agreed.

Border Patrol Agents Fire Tear Gas Over Border at Mexican Attackers

No Gravatar

FOXNews.com – Border Patrol Agents Fire Tear Gas Over Border at Mexican Attackers – Local News News Articles National News US News: “The agency’s top official in San Diego, Mike Fisher, said agents are taking action because Mexican authorities have been slow to respond. When an attack happens, he said, American authorities often wait hours for them to come, and help usually never arrives.”

With houses right on the border innocent people are getting in the crossfire. Nevertheless, it is up to Mexico to establish order in their own country. So those who live on the border should ask thier own government why they are doing nothing to stop the civil violence. Another solution would be to move because you really cannot expect American border patrol agents to be attacked daily without responding to protect themselves.

Wrong Information May Lead to Passage of Very Bad Immigration Bill! – CWN: “Some of our allies in the fight to stop illegal immigration are circulating alerts asking you to support the SAVE Act (H.R. 4088). This bill, otherwise known as the ‘Secure America Through Verification and Enforcement Act of 2007′ is said to have strong bi-partisan support and is on a fast track for passage. The American Policy Center has read this legislation and is issuing this alert AGAINST the SAVE Act. Here’s why:”

Illegals only do jobs Americans won’t do?

No Gravatar

‘Jobs Americans Won’t Do?’ – Dave Gibson – Nov 24, 07: “The greedy Peabody family has been able to pocket $7 million over the last few years because they have imported Third World slaves to work on their boats. They have basically eliminated their payroll. Unfortunately, they are not alone. Greedy employers all across this nation are hiring Latin American invaders to provide them with the kind of dirt cheap labor on which Americans simply cannot support their families. It is impossible for American workers to compete with Third World labor. Just as the White House and Congress have betrayed us, far too many U.S. businesses have done the same thing. The next time you hear someone (like John McCain) repeating the tired old line that ‘illegal immigrants only do the jobs that Americans won’t do’…Tell them that smells fishy!”

Feds to hold ’sanctuaries’ accountable

WorldNetDaily: Feds to hold ’sanctuaries’ accountable: “‘we’re not going to tolerate people blatantly disregarding our laws. It’s a disservice to our nation to have people turn a blind eye to our laws.’ She said such cases won’t all be identical, and probably won’t be handled identically. ‘I think what we have is fundamentally, our state and local governments are trying to impede the department and the federal government’s responsibility to enforce our laws to the point that it’s a concern,’ she told WND. ‘The secretary has made it clear we’re not going to lay back. We will vigorously fight whatever [impedes] federal law.’ “
