Jimmy Carter entertains himself with his delusions of self importance

No Gravatar

Either Jimmy Carter should be locked up in a loony bin or he should be put in jail for breaking our laws. The man has delusions of self importance. He does not speak for the U.S. or Israel. He was not elected or appointed to do anything and he was told by both governments not to butt in. Anyone who now would even consider anything that takes place in his demented delusional and dumb meetings with known terrorist murders should be locked up with him. Jimmy Carter never met criminal minds that he could not deal with. Once again Jimmy Carter richly deserves the Demented Delusional or Dumb Club of the week award.

FOXNews.com - Carter, Hamas Meetings Produce 3-Point Peace Proposal - Politics | Republican Party | Democratic Party | Political Spectrum

Former President Jimmy Carter’s controversial meetings with Hamas leaders have produced a draft of a three-point peace agreement that includes a ceasefire with Israel, Hamas officials tell FOX News, but it isn’t clear whether such a proposal would have any standing in the peace process.

Carter met again on Saturday with the exiled leader of the militant Hamas group and his deputy, without backing from the Bush administration and against the wishes of Israeli leaders. The two Palestinians are considered terrorists by the U.S. government and Israel accuses them of masterminding attacks that have killed hundreds of civilians.

The U.S. State Department twice advised Carter against meeting Hamas leaders before he left on his Mideast trip earlier this week. More than 50 members of Congress also urged Carter not to go, saying it would confer legitimacy on the group behind some 250 homicide bombings that have killed numerous Israelis.

Jimmy Carter the peanut traitor

No Gravatar

Here is another view on Jimmy Carter our traitorous ex-president.

Carter to Hamas’ rescue

You might think a former president best known for pulling the Persian rug out from under the shah of Iran and rolling out the red carpet for the takeover of that country by Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini might be more circumspect about embracing anti-Jewish, anti-American, anti-Christian and anti-Western Middle East terrorists 30 years later.

But that kind of expectation would only be appropriate if Jimmy Carter were a lucid, rational, moral agent. He has proven once again he is not.

Carter, instead, like so many of his fellow Democratic Party leaders, only seems comfortable when he is undercutting his own country’s national security, demeaning America’s role in the world and, particularly, blaming the Jewish state for all of the problems in the Middle East.

It’s an amazing and mortifying spectacle to behold.

In another era, a former president who acted so recklessly might face treason charges when he returned. Indeed, he should. But, of course, he won’t. His treacherous actions won’t be punished at all – paving the way for more outrageous behavior in the future by him, other ex-presidents and other private citizens who have no business meddling in America’s foreign affairs.

At some point, we have to recognize the obvious: Jimmy Carter hates Israel, he hates America and he is still pursuing some kind of payoff from the oil powers of the Middle East for doing their dirty work for them.

McCain rightly calls Hamas and Hizbullah terrorists.

McCain in the only Presidential candidate who gets this issue correct.

McCain: Terrorism threatens all we hold dear | Jerusalem Post

“If Hamas/Hizbullah succeeds here, they are going to succeed everywhere, not only in the Middle East, but everywhere. Israel isn’t the only enemy,” Arizona Sen. McCain said, in the only interview he is giving to the Israeli media during his visit here.”They are dedicated to the extinction of everything that the US, Israel and the West believe and stand for. So America does have an interest in what happens here, far above and beyond our alliance with the State of Israel.”

They must be planning a Bam Ki-boom display. So knowing all this, does anyone really think that Israel can make peace with Hezbollah? Is everyone that stupid?

Israel says Hezbollah has 30,000 rockets - Yahoo! News

UNITED NATIONS - Israel has said Hezbollah is rearming and has an arsenal that includes 10,000 long-range rockets and 20,000 short-range rockets in southern Lebanon, according to a report from Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.

Olmart needs to take his act on the road

No Gravatar

Olmart of Israel needs to take his dumb act on the road. He has perfected the role of the clueless liberal leader.  Olmart must have studied under Jimmy Carter.

For Olmart’s continuing performence as outlinded in this article by Caroline Glick, Olmart of Israel wins my Demented Delusion or Dumb Club of the week award. Congradulations!

Israel changes its mode of contending with Gaza on a near-daily basis. Sometimes it threatens to launch a ground campaign in Gaza to end the Palestinians’ mortar and rocket campaign against its citizens. Sometimes it attacks from the air and declares victory. Sometimes it threatens to stop supplying electricity and fuel to Gaza. Sometimes it threatens to stop its support for Gazan banks.

Then again, sometimes it renews its fuel and electricity supply to Gaza, lets trucks full of cash to enter Gaza from Israel, allows Gazans to receive free medical treatment in Israeli hospitals and permits them to work in Israel.

Internationally, sometimes Israel threatens to retake control over Gaza’s border with Egypt. And sometimes it asks Egypt or the UN to take control of the border. Sometimes it criticizes Egypt for enabling weapons and terrorists to move into Gaza. Sometimes it praises Egypt for being a force of stability.

Sometimes the Olmert-Livni-Barak government supports Fatah’s reassertion of control over the border between Gaza and Egypt. Sometimes it admits that Fatah terrorists are full partners in the rocket and mortar campaign against Israel from Gaza; that Fatah security forces willingly integrated into Hamas’s army after Hamas seized power; and that anyway, Fatah has neither the will nor the means to defeat Hamas in Gaza or anywhere else.

In Gaza today as in Lebanon during 2006, the Olmert government’s strategic incoherence has led to public relations disasters. Today in Gaza, as in Lebanon in 2006, Israel’s inability to define its goals has made it unable to defend its actions. And so it is stands condemned as its citizens are held hostage to the vagaries of Palestinian mortars and rockets.

The Winograd commission properly noted the government’s failure to define what it was doing in Lebanon. But it did not explain the why the government failed. The source of the government’s failure in Lebanon 18 months ago and of its failure in Gaza today is its political commitment to the strategy of unilateral withdrawal from territory. Olmert’s Kadima party and Barak’s Labor party both have embraced this strategy. It is the centerpiece of their governing rationale.

Iran says Israel is too weak to confront them.

No Gravatar

This statement by the Iran Foreign Minister is dumb and delusional. Why in the world would Israel use nukes against a rag tag army that was not a strategic  threat to Israel? If Israel takes out Iran’s nuclear facilities and Iran and Syria take military action against Israel it is a whole different ball game.

One has to wonder why Iran is again spouting this rhetoric each day. They either must believe what they say - that would make them delusional, or else they think they can scare Israel off by their belligerent words. But all their words against Israel’s right to exist just makes an attack on their nuclear facilities more likely.

Iran: Israel too weak to confront us

Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki says Jewish state’s ballistic missile capability won’t help it in confrontations with Islamic republic; meanwhile, Iranian-Egyptian rapprochement in the works
Dudi Cohen

“Israel is too weak to confront Iran. The leaders of this illegitimate fake regime know well would happen in the region in response to an attack (against us),” Iran’s Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki said on Monday in response to a successful Israeli ballistic missile test.

In a press conference in Tehran, Mottaki said that “If Israel’s nuclear missile warheads could have helped, she would have won the (Second) Lebanon War.”

Jew self hatred

No Gravatar

One of the great mysteries of the world is why many Jews love to hate themselves. Some like those spoken of in this article actually encourage antisemitism. The truth is that just like many of the Jews in Jesus time these are not true Jews they are of the synagogue of Satan. They are secular atheists who hate the God of Israel. Is it any wonder that the Bible says that two-thirds of those who call themselves Jews will be cut-off.

The War on Zionism

No Gravatar

The War on Zionism - Guest - Dec 19, 07: “Post Annapolis, the Palestinian Authority made it crystal clear that it will never recognize Israel as a “Jewish state”. Furthermore, it made it crystal clear that it will not compromise on Jerusalem making it a capital offense to do so. Yet negotiations continue. Either Olmert doesn’t believe the PA or what is more likely, he will still cut a deal where Israel is denied that recognition and will divide Jerusalem according to Arab demands.

Do not think for a moment that these entrenched Arab positions are negotiable. They aren’t and never have been.

Ever since Theodor Herzl wrote The Jewish State in 1896, the Arabs, with one exception, Faisal ibn Hussein, have opposed it”

From Basra to Bethlehem to Beit El

Our World: From Basra to Bethlehem to Beit El Jerusalem Post

BRITAIN’S foolish and dangerous actions in Basra are strikingly similar to the international community’s policies regarding the Palestinian Authority generally and the PA’s security services specifically. And whereas in Iraq there is some chance that the wreck the British have made of Basra can be fixed by the Iraqi military and the US forces in the country, there is no countervailing force to curb the adverse impacts of the international community’s treatment of the corrupt, terror supporting, jihadist Palestinian security forces. This is the case because the Israeli government, which is the only countervailing force that could repair the damage, is exacerbating the problem.

Since the PA and its security forces were formed in 1994, they have never once taken serious action against the terror infrastructure in either Judea and Samaria or Gaza. Indeed, the PA and its security services played a central role in building those infrastructures of terror. Beyond that, since 1996, every single time that the PA’s security services have been forced to choose between Israel and the terrorists, they have joined ranks with the terrorists to attack Israel.
In spite of this fact, yesterday representatives of 90 states and organizations convened in Paris and pledged to give the PA $5.6 billion over the next three years. The PA will receive some $1.7 billion next year - $1.2 billion of which will go to funding the PA budget. Most of that money will be spent paying the salaries, arming and training the PA security forces.

Quiet D.C. coup spells big trouble, in the War on Terror — not only for America, but Israel, too

Quiet D.C. coup spells big trouble, in the War on Terror — not only for America, but Israel, too: “Sadly, Washington now seems all too ready to yield on matters of principle. Or, as former US ambassador to the UN John Bolton told the German magazine Der Spiegel this week, American foreign policy ‘is in free fall. The president is acting against his own judgment and instincts under the influence of Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.’

The result has effectively been a quiet coup, as George W. Clinton replaces Bush. And that spells trouble, big trouble, in the War on Terror — not only for Israel, but for America too.”

Bush has been cowed. Exactly who got to him is open for speculation. Obvious those who think Islamics can be assimilated into the elitist planned global community have taken control. Since they are practical atheists they underestimate the power that Religion has to control nations and people. They think all problems can be solved by dialog, compromise and bribery. They are wrong. America and the world will reap the inevitable consequences.

Dershowitz on Carter

American Thinker Blog: Dershowitz on Carter: “at the University of California, Irvine which is a “hotbed” of anti-Israeli agitation:

“He [Dershowitz ] spoke to a large crowd, and first asked those who considered themselves pro-Israel to raise their hands. About 250 hands were raised. He then asked them if they would accept a Palestinian state, side by side, living in peace with Israel. Every hand went up.

Then he asked how many considered themselves pro-Palestinian. About 150 hands were raised. Finally, he asked this group whether they would accept a Jewish state of Israel, living side by side in peace with a new Palestinian state. Not a single hand went up.”

‘Iranian threat not understood’

‘Iranian threat not understood’ Jerusalem Post: “Despite international efforts to impose sanctions on Iran, the world does not yet appreciate the gravity of the Iranian nuclear threat, and ‘one miss’ in its assessment has the potential to alter the international community’s course of action and enable Iran to turn nuclear, Maj.-Gen. Benny Gantz, the IDF’s incoming military attaché to the United States, has told The Jerusalem Post.”

Who is rational in Israel?

No Gravatar

Column One: Who’s being rational Jerusalem Post: “Life in southern Israel is unbearable. Since last January, on average, 6.3 mortars and rockets have been fired from Gaza on southern Israel every day.”

Livni warned her colleagues that securing southern Israel will destroy the peace process. If Israel secures the south, the Arabs and the Bush administration will get really mad. And “moderate” Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas will turn his back on the peace process and reunite his US-trained Fatah forces with the Iranian-trained Hamas forces. Livni’s message was clear: The government must choose between security and the peace process.
Livni won the argument. The peace process won out against the security of southern Israel.”

What peace process? The people who think Israel can make peace with terrorists that hate Israel are total loons. Every time Israel gives up land they use that land to attack Israel. You would think that people would learn but history says otherwise. Now Israel is being rocketed daily from the South. Last year they were being rocketed from the North and if they give up the West Bank it will soon be from the East. Perhaps they ought to give their enemies some ships so that can rocket them from the West as well. Israel really needs a leader that has a sound mind.

Dichter: NIE proves that Israel failed

Dichter: NIE proves that Israel failed Jerusalem Post: “Washington’s stance on the Iranian nuclear threat in the wake of the National Intelligence Estimate will lead to a ‘regional Yom Kippur,’ in which other states besides Israel will be seriously threatened, Public Security Minister Avi Dichter said Saturday.”

“The softened intelligence report proves that Israel failed to provide the Americans with the whole picture concerning the Iranian nuclear threat,” Dichter said during a speech at a ‘Cultural Shabbat‘ event in Holon

They are not stupid they know the threat. Those that accomplished this coup d’état think the bombing of Iran is worse than having a nuclear Iran. The NIE report was drafted in such a way as to prevent George Bush from taking military action against Iran. Israel is now going to have to deal with the next US administration.

DEBKAfile - DEBKAfile Reports: Most members of Israeli defense cabinet favor independent action against nuclearized Iran - despite US intelligence reassessment: “The special defense and foreign affairs cabinet meeting of Dec. 9 did not linger on the dispute between Israel and the US over its last National Intelligence Estimate, which absolves Iran from running a nuclear weapons program from 2003. After briefings from intelligence chiefs, the ministers focused on what to do next. Most objected to letting Israel’s hands be tied by the Bush administration’s apparent waiver of its military option against Iran. “

Evangelical Leaders Reiterate Call for Two-State Solution for Israel and Palestine Christianity Today A Magazine of Evangelical Conviction: “over 80 evangelical leaders have signed a statement indicating their belief ‘that the way forward is for the Israelis and Palestinians to negotiate a fair, two-state solution.’ These leaders—including Christian college and seminary presidents, denominational heads, and other ministry leaders—pledge their ‘ongoing support for the security of Israel,’ and state that ‘unless the situation between Israel and Palestine improves quickly, the consequences will be devastating’ for Israel. Palestinians with little economic opportunity ‘are increasingly sympathetic to radical solutions.’”

Israel PM warns Iran can develop nuclear bomb by 2010

No Gravatar

Israel PM warns Iran can develop nuclear bomb by 2010: “Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert warned on Tuesday that Iran is likely to develop an atomic bomb by 2010 if it is allowed to continue its controversial nuclear programme. He said a report by the National Intelligence Estimate — the consensus view of all 16 US intelligence agencies — saying Iran had ended its nuclear weapons programme in 2003 should not stop international pressure on Tehran to stop uranium enrichment. ‘Iran continues its activities to enrich uranium, and even according to the NIE report, it is likely to accumulate sufficient amounts to create a nuclear weapon by 2010,’ Olmert told the Institute for National Security Studies. ‘Iran continues its activities to attain two vital components to create nuclear weapons — the development of a sophisticated electrical system and ballistic missiles, while at the same time producing enriched uranium. “

You might figure out how world sanctions will stop Iran when you already lost Russia and China due to the NIE report? Not that there was any chance of them working anyway. Does any sane person really think that Iran is just going to stop its nuclear program?

‘France worried by Iran-Israel tension’

‘France worried by Iran-Israel tension’ Jerusalem Post: “In the interview, Sarkozy said, ‘Everyone agrees that what the Iranians are doing has no civilian explanation. The only debate is whether they will have military capability in one year or in five years.’ “

A military attack on Iran is now more likely

No Gravatar

FrontPage Magazine: “Other analysts – John Bolton, Patrick Clawson, Valerie Lincy and Gary Milhollin, Caroline Glick, Claudia Rossett, Michael Rubin, and Gerald Steinberg – have skillfully dissected and refuted this shoddy, politicized, outrageous parody of a piece of propaganda, so I need not dwell on that here. Further, leading members of Congress are ‘not convinced’ of the NIE’s conclusions. French and German leaders snubbed it, as did the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, and even the International Atomic Energy Agency expressed doubts. British intelligence believe its American counterparts were hoodwinked, while Israeli intelligence responded with shock and disappointment. “

“The debate most assuredly will continue to evolve and the influence of this NIE will fade and become just one of many appraisals, technical and non-technical, official and unofficial, American and non-American.
In short, with Option #1 undermined and Option #3 unacceptable, Option #2 – war carried out by either U.S. or Israeli forces – becomes the more probable. Thus have short-sighted, small-minded, blatantly partisan intelligence bureaucrats, trying to hide unpleasant realities, helped engineer their own nightmare.”

His assessment is probably correct. The main difference is the attack will now be delayed about two or three years after it should have taken place. At that time Iran will be in a better position and any attack on Iran could be far more deadly and it could lead to World War III. Also, the person in the White House at that time might be wearing a skirt or ought to be wearing a skirt. Israel is now also forced to do what it thinks is necessary for her survival even if she has to do it alone and that also can start World War III. This NIE report is the dumbest action since just prior to world II. In fact it probably trumps the miscalculations made at that time and it can have a more deadly outcome.

Shas minister: Americans’ attitude to report reminiscent of Auschwitz

Shas minister: Americans’ attitude to report reminiscent of Auschwitz - Israel News, Ynetnews
“It can not be that (US President George W.) Bush is committed to peace as was declared at Annapolis, and then the Americans propagate such an intelligence report which contradicts the information we have proving Iran intends to obtain nuclear weapons,” Cohen said. “How can we rely on the Americans if they publish this report that emasculates what the world explicitly knows regarding Iran, and renders impotent the entire struggle against the Iranians?”

Minister Cohen asserted that the report must have been “ordered by someone who wants dialogue with Tehran” and formulated an historical analogy to express just how serious the situation is: “In the middle of the previous century the Americans received intelligence reports from Auschwitz on the packed trains going to the extermination camps. They claimed then that the railways were industrial. Their attitude today to the information coming out of Iran on the Iranians’ intention to produce a nuclear bomb reminds one of their attitude during the holocaust.” “Minister Cohen asserted that the report must have been “ordered by someone who wants dialogue with Tehran”

You think this demented NIA report has not made Israel mad?
