The initiation of DDT use against malaria was rewarded by a Nobel Prize, and the U.S. National Academy of Sciences estimated that DDT had saved hundreds of millions of lives.

One of the principal political figures who worked to ban DDT was none other than Al Gore.

As a result of the DDT ban, more than 30 million children in Africa and Asia have died from DDT-preventable malaria, and an estimated 500 million adults are today chronically ill from this disease. The ban of DDT was the worst act of technological genocide in human history.

Now, Mr. Gore is the recognized leader of an effort to ban at least 90% of world use of hydrocarbon fuels. Once again, his claims are based upon bogus science and are motivated by personal financial and political self interest.

“The Deniers” is a book about all the renown scientists that have not joined Al Gore’s Consensus club. The real consensus is with the deniers of Al Gore’s nonsense. However, since they do not belong to the Al Gore club Gore does not acknowledge their expertise. Instead anyone outside his Consenus Club are called “flat earthers” No matter there impeccable credentials.

Meanwhile, the Consensus Club is mostly made up of those who receive funding to support the junk science hypothesis and people who have a political or monetary agenda. Meanwhile, the Consensus club has the money and power to threaten the livelihood of scientists that would like to come out and expose this fraud. But ain’t democracy wonderful today when most government representatives and media are controlled by a few power elite that have their own global governance agenda?

The scientific tipping point has been reached. Either science will now break free from these control freaks or they will just be their pawns for a disinformation campaigns to bring in total government control and regulation over everything that we do.

So my advise to scientists is that you now have the only chance you will have to break free of this power grap and to get back toward unbiased science. You might think you need to watch what you say and stay within what is allowed by the politically correct controllers but if you do that, why was it that you become a scientist in the first place? Did you really want to learn and teach truth or is it just your stairway to becoming a member of the politically correct Consensus Club. If the scientific giants of history took the route that many of our scientists are taking today we would still be in the dark ages.

To make a long story short Lord Monckton took the case to court because Al Gore’s unscientific movie was being required in all British public schools. Monckton won his court case. The court decreed that if Al Gore’s Inconvenient Truth is shown, then “The Great Global Swindle” must also be shown.

Not a timid soul, Lord Monckton is also going after NASA’s James Hansen for being in bed with Al Gore both “politically and financially.” Both stand to cash in on their alarmist gospel (someone called it “garbage in and gospel out”), and the present-day Braveheart has written to the administrator of NASA, asking for a full investigation. If he gets the brush-off, he plans to appeal to the Office of the U.S. Attorney General!

Al Gore might think “the debate in the scientific community is over,” but he hasn’t seen anyone like Lord Monckton on this side of the Atlantic. Lord Monckton is presently placing catchy ads in American newspapers, asking Gore to debate him in public. As of this writing, Gore hasn’t responded. If and when he does, he needs to have W in his corner with a towel and a bucket of water. Senator James M. Inhofe will be in Lord Monckton’s corner with crumpets and tea. Stay tuned—this could be a rematch of a Joe Louis—Max Schmeling fight.

This alternative produces less energy per gallon of fuel than gasoline, while driving the price of food upward, causing riots and forcing the cultivation of more land where wildlife can no longer flourish.

Environmental extremists wring their hands and cry crocodile tears at the thought of “ruining” the Alaska National Wildlife Refuge by using only 2,000 of the 18 million acres for oil production. But they seem to have no problems with the idea of covering millions of acres in the southwest with solar panels.

Environmental extremists celebrate their victory in banning DDT to save birds. But they have no problem with miles and miles of wind turbines that slaughter millions of birds every year. Nor do they seem to have any sympathy for the millions of people who have died from malaria as a direct result of the ban on DDT.

Big oil is not to blame for the high price of gasoline; the blame must fall squarely in the lap of the environmental extremists who use propaganda and fear-mongering to block the increases in the production of readily available fossil fuels. There are sufficient reserves of coal to last about 200 years. Despite Jimmy Carter’s 1970s declaration that the world would be out of oil by 2000, and considering the anticipated increase in demand, there are enough known oil reserves to last at least 60 years. This energy should be available now.

Every time a person fills up at the pump, he should visualize the billions of barrels of oil that are waiting in Alaska, and the billions of barrels of oil that are waiting in the Dakotas and Montana, and the billions of barrels of oil that are waiting just off shore – and curse the environmental extremists who are forcing him to pay far more for his transportation than is necessary.

They call this a news worthy study of echinacea and colds? 58 people over 8 weeks! Give me a break!

Lets see, I would think that over 8 weeks about 20 of the 58 people would normally be expected to get a cold. Then of the 29 who took the echinacea (ten of these might get a cold in this period ) had 5 fewer sick days than the other 29 that took a placebo? Seems to me that your study supports that those who took echinacea had five fewer sick days and thus probably had fewer colds.

If you are going to publish studies on echinacea publish a study that actually proves something. A study needs to be done on hundreds or thousands of people over a whole season in the way that people are directed to take echinacea. You are not supposed to take echinacea everyday for colds. You only take it when you are exposed to colds or when you are already coming down with a cold to lessen the duration. We already have studies that prove if you take echinacea every day it becomes less effective and might even be worse then taking nothing at all. However, if you take it as directed studies prove it will help prevent colds and lessen the duration of colds.

So what was the name of the drug manufacturer that sponsored the farce?

The cover of the April 21 issue of Time took the famous Iwo Jima photograph by Joe Rosenthal of the Marines raising the American flag and replaced the flag with a tree. The cover story by Bryan Walsh calls green “the new red, white and blue.”

Donald Mates, an Iwo Jima veteran, told the Business & Media Institute on April 17 that using that photograph for that cause was a “disgrace.”

People are about to reap what they let the eco-nitwits start. Food riots also broke out in Egypt, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Senegal and Ethiopia. The military is being deployed in Pakistan and Thailand to protect fields and warehouses. Higher energy costs and policies promoting the use of biofuels such as ethanol are being blamed.

“When millions of people are going hungry, it’s a crime against humanity that food should be diverted to biofuels,” an Indian government official told the Wall Street Journal. Turkey’s finance minister labeled the use of biofuels as “appalling,” according to the paper.

Biofuels have turned out to be a lose-lose-lose proposition. Once touted by the greens and the biofuel industry as being able to reduce the demand for oil and lower greenhouse gas emissions, biofuels have accomplished neither goal and have no prospect for accomplishing either in the foreseeable future.

The world has an ever-growing population that needs more and more energy, but the greens are doing everything they can to constrict the world’s energy supply.

As the Sierra Club campaigns to shut down our coal-fired electricity capabilities, the Natural Resources Defense Council campaigns to prevent nuclear power from taking its place. The demise of coal-fired power and the blockage of increased nuclear power will increase the demand for supply constraints on, and the prices for, natural gas.

But then again, environmental advocacy group Earth First perhaps is helping to alleviate the looming natural gas crisis by campaigning against power plants that use the fuel. In a recent campaign against a South Florida power plant, an Earth First campaigner stated that the environment ought not be threatened “so that people can fuel their greedy energy desires.” “Just say ‘no’ to electricity,” seems to be the bottom line of eco-think.

notes, “no major scientist with any long record in this field” accepts
Gore’s claim that global warming spreads mosquito-borne diseases.

Dr. Zbigniew Jaworowski, a
world-renowned expert on the ancient ice cores used in historical
climate research. He says the U.N. “based its global-warming hypothesis
on arbitrary assumptions and these assumptions, it is now clear, are

Al Gore apparently lost his marbles after his loss to George Bush in the Presidential election. I hear he then went into his basement and found some old slides and found a purpose for his life putting together this junk science snake oil presentation. For that effort he got awarded the Nobel Peace prize that has a history of going to snake oil salesmen.

The main thing it will actually accomplish is to give power over our lives to the looniest, faithless control freaks on our planet.

I hear people say that the science that is coming out will expose Al Gore and the rest of his loons and stop this multi trillion dollar carbon tax scheme. The only solution is to to immediately find some big money to counter these ads and we need money to fund science that debunks their huge global warming paid staff. For that to happen we need some wealthy people and foundations to start putting up money to stop them. I met many of them up-close-and-personal last week at a major Wall Street Journal conference at which I was an invited speaker. My fellow speakers included many CEOs (from General Electric, Wal-Mart, Duke Energy and Dow Chemical, to name just a few), California’s Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and the heads of several environmental activist groups.

The audience — a sold-out crowd of hundreds who had to apply to be admitted and pay a $3,500 fee — consisted of representatives of the myriad businesses that seek to make a financial killing from climate alarmism.

There were representatives of the solar, wind and biofuel industries that profit from taxpayer mandates and subsidies, representatives from financial services companies that want to trade permits to emit CO2, and public relations and strategic consultants to all of the above.

We libertarians would call such an event a rent-seekers ball — the vast majority of the audience was there to plot how they could lock in profits from government mandates on taxpayers and consumers. It was an amazing collection of pseudo-entrepreneurs who were absolutely impervious to the scientific and economic facts that ought to deflate the global warming bubble.

What the 3000 ocean robots are telling us is that there has not been any global warming this decade. This confirms what other data also says. Contrary to what this article suggests air temperatures have not been going up this decade.

There is some known bias toward warming in the placement of NOAA weather measuring stations. For example, many are located in urban heat islands but space based measurements also indicate that there has been no global warming increases this decade. In fact there has been a slight cooling even though CO2 levels continue to rise. Proving that the CO2 green house effect climate models are wrong. We even have a good idea why they are wrong. They have been using mathematical equations based on wrong greenhouse effect physics.

Some scientists have been pointing out for years that the earth’s geological record shows no correlation to increased CO2 and future warming. It shows that global warming periods were followed by rises in CO2 and not preceded by it. In other words, when the earth warms due to more solar output more CO2 is released from the oceans. Historical CO2 increases were not followed by a warmer earth.

So man caused global warming is not taking a week off as this author suggests. Laws of physics do not just take time outs. Climate change on the earth is cyclical and related to the sun but now there are indications of less output from the sun and that is the reason why there has been no further warming. We may even be starting a cooling trend.

So are you really going to let the politicians pass laws that will cost trillions of dollars to stop CO2 caused warming that no one has ever proved exists?

That could mean global warming has taken a breather. Or it could mean scientists aren’t quite understanding what their robots are telling them.This is puzzling in part because here on the surface of the Earth, the years since 2003 have been some of the hottest on record. But Josh Willis at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory says the oceans are what really matter when it comes to global warming.

In fact, 80 percent to 90 percent of global warming involves heating up ocean waters. They hold much more heat than the atmosphere can. So Willis has been studying the ocean with a fleet of robotic instruments called the Argo system. The buoys can dive 3,000 feet down and measure ocean temperature. Since the system was fully deployed in 2003, it has recorded no warming of the global oceans.

This report shows why the IPCC did a very sloppy unscientific job. For that they share the Nobel Peace Prize with Al Gore who really should be sued for fraud.

Facts proving that man is behind the very mild global warming we experienced do not exist. There is no reason to believe that CO2 causes global warming and any projected future warming if it occurs is a threat from man.

The IPCC members should be dismissed and a new IPCC make up of scientists that are truly independent and that are true experts in the necessary fields of science should investigate the real facts and publish it to the world before the world takes the insane course to spends trillions on nothing but foolishness.

The huge corporate American farmers are making a killing (literally) from the huge run up in the price of grain products due to corn based Ethanol production. This Ethanol hoax on the American people is running up the cost of most food products we buy and the farm products are even still being subsidized by your own tax dollars.

Corn Ethanol certainly is not going to lower your gas prices or solve any energy crises. Your politicians have no guts to bring about any real solution to the energy problem so they try to appease gullible American people with junk science nonsense of an Ethanol solution while they fill their own pockets with contributions from special interest groups. Never mind that their ethanol polices will bring hunger and starvation to people in third world countries that depend on low cost grains for their very survival. Food stocks are now so low worldwide that any major crop failure could bring about famine. Should the American people allow these insane polices to continue?

Ethanol production has driven up the prices of corn-fed livestock, such as beef, chicken and dairy products, and products made from corn, such as cereals. As a result of higher demand for corn, other grain prices, such as soybean and wheat, have risen dramatically. The fact that the U.S. is the world’s largest grain producer and exporter means that the ethanol-induced higher grain prices will have a worldwide impact on food prices.

It’s easy to understand how the public, looking for cheaper gasoline, can be taken in by the call for increased ethanol usage. But politicians, corn farmers and ethanol producers know they are running a cruel hoax on the American consumer. They are in it for the money. The top leader in the ethanol hoax is Archer Daniels Midland, the country’s largest producer of ethanol. Ethanol producers and the farm lobby have pressured farm-state congressmen into believing that it would be political suicide if they didn’t support subsidized ethanol production. That’s the stick. Campaign contributions play the role of the carrot.

Lets face it, the US is run by morons only because dumbed down idiots elect their American Idol. Now you know why the founders of this country did not want everyone to have a vote. There is not going to be a pleasant outcome to this. We are witnessing the beginning of the end of a superpower.

They say, “Baptists have a Biblical duty to stop global warming”???? Are they nuts??

I would like to know what is so grave about the warming? The .7 degree rise over the last 100 years that might have been reversed last year? Is that grave?? Or is the grave threat to the planet the junk science computer model horoscopes that cannot even model known past climate, yet predict future climate? Should Baptists consider junk science to be a grave threat?

Here, I thought sin was the grave threat to the earth and that Jesus is the radical answer? No. the Baptist leadership tells us the grave threat to the planet is CO2 levels!

Which all proves to me that the Southern Baptist Convention leadership has little discernment on world issues, yet spiritual issues. No wonder they are buying into postmodern theology. Who asked them to tell Southern Baptists what they should support on environmental issues anyway? They often put their womanly world views in every quarterly magazine used in almost every Southern Baptist Church. The ruling that made CO2 a toxic waste will come true if they carry out what they are planning. In air CO2 is harmless but if you start pumping CO2 in pipes around the country your going to cause environmental problems.
