It’s a position that puts West at odds with nearly every major scientific organization on the planet. “The American Meteorological Society, the American Geophysical Union, and the American Association for the Advancement of Science all have issued statements in recent years concluding that the evidence for human modification of climate is compelling,” Science magazine observes. So has the United Nations’ Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), which shared the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize with Al Gore, for their work on global warming.

West acknowledges that the IPCC and other scientific groups have “conclude[d] that the contribution of solar variability to global warming is negligible.” He argues that these groups have done a poor job modeling the Sun’s impact, however, and that’s why they have “significantly over-estimated” the “anthropogenic contribution to global warming.”

UPDATE: “The Army does not have a position on global warming. Dr. West is an Army chief scientist, and is presenting one alternative theory to the cause of global warming,” Army spokesperson Lindy Dinklage tells Danger Room. “This research is just some amongst thousands of studies being conducted by Army Scientists across the globe.”

Even “gay sex” (male-male anal sodomy) is a crude, man-made imitation of the natural heterosexual reproductive process. Sadly, as millions of homosexuals have had to learn the hard way, this disordered, makeshift simulation of a natural biological process is coldly rejected by the very human biology it mocks.

As the CDC has illustrated time and again, unnatural behaviors beget natural consequences. Homosexual conduct – especially among males – creates an environment ripe for infectious disease and emotional and spiritual injury. This, by definition, is perversion.

The handouts offered by the sponsors of this bill come straight from the pockets of families and workers in the form of lost jobs, higher gas, power and heating bills, and more expensive consumer goods

Let me end with a challenge to my colleagues. Will you dare stand on the Senate floor in these uncertain economic times and vote in favor of significantly increasing the price of gas at the pump, losing millions of American jobs, creating a huge new bureaucracy and raising taxes by record amounts? In a stunning warning to all Americans, the non-partisan English First warned fans of national and local conservative talk show hosts Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Dr. James Dobson, Laurie Roth and other conservative talk shows that a proposed Federal Communications Commission regulation could very well drive their favorite programs off the air.

“This is serious business! The FCC that is part of the executive branch — in essence — is taking control of the airwaves, rather than allowing the US Congress and Senate to propose legislation, openly debate that legislation and then vote on it. One can compare what’s being done in the name of fairness with Stalinism,” warns conservative political strategist Mike Baker.

“If you look at who is pushing this so-called Fairness Doctrine, most likely you’ll find center-left advocates in politics, government, academia, and the press,” adds Baker.

On January 24, 2008, the Federal Communications Commission published a “Notice of Proposed Rulemaking” in the Federal Register which, if ultimately adopted, would impose a back-door version of the discredited “Fairness Doctrine” upon America’s airwaves. The proposal-notice was so obscure that few even knew it existed, according to journalism Professor Jeff Hines of NYCC in Manhattan.

One of the key elements being bandied by the FCC in their plans for information control is “the advisory board system.”

According to FCC officials, these advisory boards “should include representatives of all segments of the community,” a requirement which would empower self-appointed “community leaders,” such as representatives of the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) or the Center for American Islamic Relations (CAIR), to discourage commercial radio stations from airing discussions of controversial matters such as the costs of illegal immigration or the meaning of jihad.

“In other words, it’s a politically-correct scheme to silence dissenters and manipulate information gathering and dissemination,” said Mike Baker.

I wrote my thoughts on this stupid decision of Interior to put polar bears under the threatened species act in a previous post today. I just want to point out that Alaskans are very angry about the Interior Department making the polar bear a threatened species. Who’s know better about what is best for Alaska and their increasing polar bear population then those who live there. Alaska industry and political leaders reacted with disappointment, even vehemence, to the decision Wednesday to protect the polar bear as “threatened,” despite assurances from the Bush administration that the listing would mean no new regulation in Alaska.

Industry officials worried that the listing decision would give environmentalists a new tool for opposing development in the Arctic, especially new offshore oil exploration and development. Politicians attacked the science behind the decision as speculative.

“Reinterpreting the Endangered Species Act in this way is an unequivocal victory for extreme environmentalists who want to block all development in our state,” said Sen. Ted Stevens, R-Alaska.

National conservative groups are already promising to sue over the decision, predicting that Interior Secretary Dirk Kempthorne’s effort to rule out regulation of greenhouse gas emissions would be overturned in court. One group, the Competitive Enterprise Institute, said the barriers erected by Kempthorne “have all the strength of tissue paper

Sen. Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska, made the point more strongly, calling the decision “grossly premature” because climate change models vary so much. She said the decision “opens a Pandora’s Box that the administration will now be unable to close.”

Putting polar bears on the threatened species list was a political move of appeasement. How can a bear that has doubled in population over the years and is allowed to be hunted be a threatened species? They say the ice will melt in the future but they do not have a clue that it actually will. If the bear population actually starts to decline action might need to be taken but not enough ice is going to melt anytime soon to threaten the polar bears.

Interior Secretary Dirk Kempthorne says he will not allow this ruling to set climate policy but he just opened the door to that being done. Whenever anyone wants to build a coal plant or drill for oil in the arctic they will now have to fight the environmentalists in court. If the democrats should take control of government what Kempthorne says will not matter a whit. We know what they will do and that will send the price of energy through the roof.

This ruling needs to be challenged in court. It is good to hear that the Pacific Legal Foundation plans to do just that. While your at it, go to the heart of the issue and challenge the whole CO2 caused global warming myth in court. Make them come up with scientific evidence to prove their case that rising CO2 is the cause for global warming. They cannot.

Reed Hopper, an attorney for the Pacific Legal Foundation, which frequently has challenged the Endangered Species Act in property rights disputes, said he plans to challenge the bear listing as well in court.

The polar bear “already is the most protected (animal) in the world and needs no additional protection,” maintained Hopper. He noted the number of polar bears have more than doubled since the late 1960s from 12,000 to about 25,000 across the Arctic region from Alaska to Greenland.

This is a key argument. Why all of a sudden are all governments taking action on the predictions of wacky environmentalists when they have never done it before? The answer of course is that this is not about global warming at all, it is just a means to an end for global governance. Now you know why all globalists are hyping this bogus threat and why they continue to hype it in spite of all the scientific facts to the contrary.

Here are my questions: In 1970, when environmentalists were making predictions of manmade global cooling and the threat of an ice age and millions of Americans starving to death, what kind of government policy should we have undertaken to prevent such a calamity? When Ehrlich predicted that England would not exist in the year 2000, what steps should the British Parliament have taken in 1970 to prevent such a dire outcome? In 1939, when the U.S. Department of the Interior warned that we only had oil supplies for another 13 years, what actions should President Roosevelt have taken? Finally, what makes us think that environmental alarmism is any more correct now that they have switched their tune to manmade global warming?

Here are a few facts: Over 95 percent of the greenhouse effect is the result of water vapor in Earth’s atmosphere. Without the greenhouse effect, Earth’s average temperature would be zero degrees Fahrenheit. Most climate change is a result of the orbital eccentricities of Earth and variations in the sun’s output. On top of that, natural wetlands produce more greenhouse gas contributions annually than all human sources combined.

“The Deniers” is a book about all the renown scientists that have not joined Al Gore’s Consensus club. The real consensus is with the deniers of Al Gore’s nonsense. However, since they do not belong to the Al Gore club Gore does not acknowledge their expertise. Instead anyone outside his Consenus Club are called “flat earthers” No matter there impeccable credentials.

Meanwhile, the Consensus Club is mostly made up of those who receive funding to support the junk science hypothesis and people who have a political or monetary agenda. Meanwhile, the Consensus club has the money and power to threaten the livelihood of scientists that would like to come out and expose this fraud. But ain’t democracy wonderful today when most government representatives and media are controlled by a few power elite that have their own global governance agenda?

The scientific tipping point has been reached. Either science will now break free from these control freaks or they will just be their pawns for a disinformation campaigns to bring in total government control and regulation over everything that we do.

So my advise to scientists is that you now have the only chance you will have to break free of this power grap and to get back toward unbiased science. You might think you need to watch what you say and stay within what is allowed by the politically correct controllers but if you do that, why was it that you become a scientist in the first place? Did you really want to learn and teach truth or is it just your stairway to becoming a member of the politically correct Consensus Club. If the scientific giants of history took the route that many of our scientists are taking today we would still be in the dark ages.

NASA is now manipulating the data so that it complies with radical global warming theories. With James Hansen running the show I would not believe the revisions that NASA is now reporting. When their temperature data conflicts with the scientific data of others I certainly would not believe NASA. Frankly, when you consider the accuracy of the instruments, the recordings and the measuring station differences from 1889 until now a one degree change is about meaningless. The only reason these people are freaking is because of melting ice, rising CO2 levels and believing bad computer models. These models cannot even model past climate yet future. Higher CO2 levels historically did not mean lower earth temperatures and the ice melt may have nothing to do with overall warming of the earth. It may have more to do with natural cycles and changes in micro climates.

Does ‘climate change’ mean ‘changing data’?

NASA is not the only source of long-term temperature data used to evaluate climate change. Like NASA, the UK Meteorological Office’s Hadley Center for Climate Studies depends on a network of ground-based weather stations using thermometers. Both are limited by their number of stations, the heat-island effects on many of the sites located in urban areas, changes in thermometer types over time and the loss of station sites over the historical periods being measured. Data gathered from these systems often has to be adjusted to remove “noise” caused by the local environment so it can be standardized for analysis.

The University of Alabama at Huntsville and Remote Sensing Systems provide data gathered by Earth-observation satellites. Satellite temperature data has the advantage of being gathered across the entire surface of the Earth, except for regions near the two poles, but it is unavailable for the period prior to 1978.

How do these other data sources compare to NASA?

According to Hadley’s data, worldwide temperatures have declined since 1998 and the Earth is not much warmer now than it was than it was in 1878 or 1941.

Both the UAH and RSS satellite data agree with Hadley and show temperatures declining over the past decade with only a slight increase above the 30-year average between 1978 and 2008.

More recently, NASA temperatures indicated March 2008 was the third-warmest March in history. RSS and UAH showed the same month as only slightly above average globally and the second-coldest ever in the southern hemisphere.

As WND has previously reported James Hansen, head of NASA’s Goddard Institute for Space Studies, warned in 2006 “we have a very brief window of opportunity to deal with climate change … no longer than a decade, at the most” – the same week the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration issued a report saying the U.S.’s hottest year was in the past, 1936.

Very true, a hate speech precedence is being set for global tyranny. Government will then use the same hate speech laws created because of the fear of violent reprisals to end all proselytizing and to stop minority decent against laws of the elite ruling class.

There is no way to stop this because these people do not answer to the people of the world. The only way the U.S. can temporarily not come under what they are setting up is to get out of these world organizations. Fat chance!

And that could be the most serious threat of all to our survival as a free people.

I then recommend that Ben Stein do a sequel documentary called “Still No intelligence allowed” that will take on the man-caused global warming academic tyranny.

Apparently that story you heard on 60 Minutes about the military just producing a non lethal ray gun is disinformation. The weapons were designed to be quite lethal. They were developed five years ago and they could have been used in Iraq to save troops lives. However, some in the administration think it would not be politically correct to use such a powerful weapon against those trying to kill our people. So we get lies about why the weapon were developed and they soft shoe it as a not lethal weapon. So our boys do not get to use it but instead many of them get to die.

I can sleep easy at night because I have always brought out the truth in regards to issues in Iraq. Can Mary Walsh, David Martin (60 Minutes), and the Pentagon officials?

Apparently you can no longer talk about other religions in a critical way in Canada. In other words you cannot talk about cults or Islam or even criticize watered down churches with no gospel message.

If they wrote that maybe, just maybe all these scientists at the March Climate Change meeting in New York were right, it would shatter the use of global warming as a justification for global governance, as former French President, Jacque Chirac proclaimed to the world in 2000 during the Framework Convention on Climate Change’s COP 6 meeting. “For the first time, humanity is instituting a genuine instrument of global governance…to organise our collective sovereignty over this planet.”

Miklós Zágon was a global warming activist and a physicist for NASA. He finds out the 80 year old greenhouse equations used in global warming modeling are totally wrong. So like a good physicist he corrects the equations and gives them to his employer. However, NASA would not release the data. So the scientist had to publish his theory in a peer-reviewed scientific journal in his home country of Hungary.

His data supports that there will be no runaway global warming based on CO2 increases.

This report is being downplayed because there is big money in the global warming business, not to even consider all the egg on the face of the know-it-all all big mouths who have claimed that the scientific discussion is over.

Miskolczi’s story reads like a book. Looking at a series of differential equations for the greenhouse effect, he noticed the solution — originally done in 1922 by Arthur Milne, but still used by climate researchers today — ignored boundary conditions by assuming an “infinitely thick” atmosphere. Similar assumptions are common when solving differential equations; they simplify the calculations and often result in a result that still very closely matches reality. But not always.So Miskolczi re-derived the solution, this time using the proper boundary conditions for an atmosphere that is not infinite. His result included a new term, which acts as a negative feedback to counter the positive forcing. At low levels, the new term means a small difference … but as greenhouse gases rise, the negative feedback predominates, forcing values back down.

NASA refused to release the results. Miskolczi believes their motivation is simple. “Money”, he tells DailyTech. Research that contradicts the view of an impending crisis jeopardizes funding, not only for his own atmosphere-monitoring project, but all climate-change research. Currently, funding for climate research tops $5 billion per year.

Miskolczi resigned in protest, stating in his resignation letter, “Unfortunately my working relationship with my NASA supervisors eroded to a level that I am not able to tolerate. My idea of the freedom of science cannot coexist with the recent NASA practice of handling new climate change related scientific results.”

His theory was eventually published in a peer-reviewed scientific journal in his home country of Hungary.

The Southern Baptist Convention leadership is now supporting global warming hysteria. They say the threat is too grave to wait for perfect knowledge about how people contribute to the warming trend. Apparently they think Baptists need to provide support to this junk science inducted hysteria that will cost the world trillions of dollars and put everyone under the management of the world’s control freaks. They say, “Baptists have a Biblical duty to stop global warming”???? Are they nuts??

I would like to know what is so grave about the warming? The .7 degree rise over the last 100 years that might have been reversed last year? Is that grave?? Or is the grave threat to the planet the junk science computer model horoscopes that cannot even model known past climate, yet predict future climate? Should Baptists consider junk science to be a grave threat?

Here, I thought sin was the grave threat to the earth and that Jesus is the radical answer? No. the Baptist leadership tells us the grave threat to the planet is CO2 levels!

Which all proves to me that the Southern Baptist Convention leadership has little discernment on world issues, yet spiritual issues. No wonder they are buying into postmodern theology. Who asked them to tell Southern Baptists what they should support on environmental issues anyway? Next, they will be telling us like the Pope that there is significant evidence for evolution so we we should believe that as well, as long as it does not conflict with our own version of biblical truth.

While I am on my soap box let me just say that the papacy of Nashville already says way too much about worldly issues. They often put their womanly world views in every quarterly magazine used in almost every Southern Baptist Church. Listen you Southern Baptist pastors, have you ever tried teaching the Bible on Sundays in your church without Lifeway’s input? That link will give you much more about what I have to say on that issue.

My suggestion to the Southern Baptist leadership is to get back to teaching the truths of the Bible and stop spending your time trying to help the dead bury the dead!

Here is a perfect example of demented people running a school. They required children to read a book that obviously violates state obscenity laws. But then the state says they cannot prosecute because state and federal obscenity laws exempt school officials from being prosecuted?

I suspect the officials picked the book because they wanted to be politically correct so they stupidly added a homosexual book without knowing much about it. Not that any homosexual book is not perverted, but that is how far we have come in our schools.

Parents might have a look at those bazaar laws and the bazaar people who run their schools. Parents can and should sue and heads should roll. Parents also need to get the homosexual brainwashing agenda out of our schools.

Where is the outrage against a black presidential candidate who has fiercely supported the systematic extermination of the black unborn his entire career – who in so doing also supports the entity that has built 80 percent of its abortion clinics in low-income minority neighborhoods to specifically target black women? This is the same Planned Parenthood that supports said racist ideology and was recently recorded acknowledging that whites wanting fewer blacks born is understandable.

The potential next president and first lady deserve the harshest ridicule and condemnation – not because they’re black – but because of their over the top extreme liberalism, because they are bad for America, and more specifically, because they are death dealers to unborn blacks.
