Legislators tell school kids to celebrate homosexuality

Only a year after banning all negative messages about homosexuality in
public schools throughout the state, the California Legislature now is
ordering school children to celebrate “gay” lifestyle choices.

“If signed into law, AB 2567 will mean an official day commemorating
homosexuality, bisexuality and transsexuality in California government
schools,” said Randy Thomasson, president of the Campaign for Children
and Families.

Thomasson said the passage by lawmakers of AB 2567 will require all California
public schools to “conduct suitable commemorative exercises” in honor
of the anti-religious, sexual-anarchy agenda of Harvey Milk, the late
San Francisco supervisor who was a homosexual activist.

The California Assembly approved the plan 43-26 and the Senate 22-13, with
both votes along party lines of Democrats supporting the homosexual
agenda.

The plan comes on the heels of last year’s school sexual indoctrination
laws, Thomasson said. “When fully implemented, SB 777 and AB 394 will
teach children in California government schools to support
homosexuality, bisexuality and transsexuality via instructional
materials, programs and activities, and school ’safety’ guidelines,” he
said. “In addition, the California State School Board this year
implemented SB 71 requiring public schools that provide sex education
to promote unmarried sexual activity with no restraints other than
mutual consent.”

The CCF announcement noted some of Milk’s statements included a blanket
condemnation of religion, which he described as “true perversion;” a
mandate to “declare yourself gay or lesbian,” and promotion of same-sex
marriages, which were created by the California Supreme Court in May
but are being challenged in the November election.

“This bad bill will teach impressionable schoolchildren the anti-religious,
homosexual-bisexual-transsexual agenda of Harvey Milk,” said Thomasson.
“For the love of God, parents and their children, we implore Gov.
Schwarzenegger to veto AB 2567.”

Housing in California is years away from a bottom. Let me make that clear and if you have any doubts, after reading this essay you will have a better understanding as to how I arrived at that conclusion. This article is longer since it will try to answer many of the arguments from those calling for a real estate bottom here in California. After looking at multiple sources of information like income, demographics, sales, psychology, and the economy there is no logical evidence for a housing bottom in California. Both Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac announce earnings this week and the news isn’t going to be good. Freddie Mac lost $821 million in the second quarter and announced that they will be slashing their dividend from 25 cents to 5 cents to conserve capital. This wouldn’t be such a big deal except the U.S. taxpayer is now on the hook and a loss for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac leads us one step closer to a bailout.

The second reason for the upsurge in bottom talk at least for California is the massive price drop we’ve seen this past year. A drop in the median sales price statewide by 38.38% is bound to get the attention of anyone. Yet simply because prices have fallen steeply in one year does not signal that now is a good time to buy. Nude men engaged in multiple instances of public sex on a municipal street while police officers, on foot and bicycle, congregated nearby making no attempt to enforce public indecency regulations, according to a report on the latest homosexual-fest in San Francisco.

The behavior was documented in photographs of an event called “Up Your Alley,” which is sponsored by the same group that organizes the city’s fall “gay”-fest, the Folsom Street Fair, on which WND has reported.

LaBarbera, who had to edit photos to conceal full nudity in images from the public street festival before he could post them as part of his report, said there were exhibitionists who “walked around baring their genitals, with no fear of being arrested.” Other websites, to which WND is unable to link because of their graphic content, published fully explicit photographs of various public acts of sex and nudity. They featured explicit photographs of oral and anal sex between men and men urinating on each other, among other activities.

The Americans for Truth report follows the July 27 event, “one of the city’s two open-air celebrations of sadomasochism (euphemistically called the ‘leather’ lifestyle by practitioners),” AFT said. “It is telling to us that the same city whose mayor, Gavin Newsom (D), ignited the ’same-sex marriage’ crusade in California by illegally issuing ‘gay marriage’ licenses – openly tolerates and celebrates gross perversions, nudity and sexual lawlessness on its streets.”

The images captured in the photos were described by one WND reader as “vomit-inducing.”

“This is what the gay agenda is all about,” the reader said. “I’ll go even further and call [the images] depraved and disgusting.

“Remember, this is on the public streets of San Francisco,” the reader said.

“One San Francisco policeman told our volunteers that the police were instructed not to make arrests for indecency on the city streets at “Up Your Alley” – but merely to ‘contain’ the activity to the street fair, which encompassed several city blocks,” Americans for Truth reported.

“San Francisco’s extreme political correctness has turned cops into impotent Perversion Protectors,” the group said.

The organization said the events included whippings, public sex between men, and even advocacy for slavery, with one man wearing nothing but cuffs and chains.

“Homosexual activists mock and deride Americans For Truth relentlessly for exposing sordid realities like ‘Up Your Alley’ – and showing you what happens when sexual radicals come to dominate a major city,” LaBarbera said.

“They don’t want Americans to see this side of their agenda … But we must face reality and come to grips with the truth that ‘rights’ based on aberrant sex are not genuine civil rights,” he said.

“Like the pantless perverts wandering around in sneakers-only at ‘Up Your Alley,’ the liberals’ pro-homosexual ‘tolerance and diversity’ program is now fully exposed as a soulless and bankrupt ideology,” LaBarbera said. “According to its precepts, nothing can be judged as wrong (sexually-speaking) – except, of course, normal, historic Judeo-Christian mores.”

It will be interesting to see how the liberal socialists will get by the First Amendment to the U.S constitution when they pass their hate speech laws that they are all but certain to pass under the next administration.

Ultimately the hate speech laws will be tested and decided by the Supreme Court on its constitutionality. The court by this point will be Liberal. The judges will then just redefine the Bill of Rights in the Constitution to what they want it to say rather than what it clearly says. Its already happened in the Supreme Court of California.

Once the Constitution can be redefined by a few people in black robes it will have lost its meaning and will be subverted. Then we will see tyranny right here in the good old U.S.A.

After those laws are passed and upheld you can be certain that the special interest groups will be monitoring everything that is said anywhere and turning anything that hurts their feelings over to the thought police for enforcement and punishment.

Then it will be time for the oppressed to overthrow this government tyranny or start a new free union of states that abides by the Constitution of the U.S.

As everyone who ever served in the military, government and police forces knows, you have already sworn to uphold the Constitution of the United States against all enemies foreign and domestic. Thus any opposing ideas become the weapon of freedom that must be stopped. The basic understanding of the power of free speech was recognized by our founding fathers as a deterrent to tyrannical government.

Due to this relativistic thinking problem the society is bending concerning these rights. That is a fact that should scare anyone who holds “these truths to be self evident.” The abridging of free religious and political speech is an affront against the liberty of all. Why is it a problem for all? It is a problem for all because once the freedom is gone it is gone for everyone. When a system turns to tyranny, all people are caught in its grip and become part of the totalitarian system.

It is clear what is really going on in the push for “hate speech” legislation. The left wants to stop preachers from preaching against homosexuality. There is also a Gestapo like insanity against anyone who would dare to criticize a racial minority. If for example a person is speaking out against affirmative action racial preferences, who’s to say that is not hateful? If my speech offends you, that is the price of freedom. If you do not wish to pay that price, I suggest you move to one of the many totalitarian states where your every word and movement are controlled.

Since Americans depend on government more each day the war against our liberty has begun. Some of us are fighting against the powers of tyranny. San Francisco is a city in open rebellion against God. Major U.S. city officially condemns Catholic Church

A San Francisco city and county board resolution that officially labeled the Catholic church’s moral teachings on homosexuality as “insulting to all San Franciscans,” “hateful,” “defamatory,” “insensitive” and “ignorant” will be challenged tomorrow in court for violating the Constitution’s prohibition of government hostility toward religion.

Resolution 168-08, passed unanimously by the City and County of San Francisco Board of Supervisors two years ago, also accused the Vatican of being a “foreign country” meddling with and attempting to “negatively influence (San Francisco’s) existing and established customs.”

It said of the church’s teaching on homosexuality, “Such hateful and discriminatory rhetoric is both insulting and callous, and shows a level of insensitivity and ignorance which has seldom been encountered by this Board of Supervisors.”

Thomas More attorney Robert Muise will present oral arguments in the case tomorrow morning in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. “Our Constitution plainly forbids hostility toward any religion, including the Catholic faith,” he said in a news release.

“In total disregard for the Constitution, homosexual activists in positions of authority in San Francisco have abused their authority as government officials and misused the instruments of the government to attack the Catholic Church. Their egregious abuse of power has now the backing of a lower federal court. … Unfortunately, all too often we see a double standard being applied in Establishment Clause cases,” Muise said.

Openly gay California Assemblyman Mark Leno told protesters of the teen rally that though such religious people may be few, “they’re loud, they’re obnoxious, they’re disgusting, and they should get out of San Francisco.”

Currently, as WND has reported, the states of Colorado and Michigan are tackling the question of whether the Bible itself can be vilified as “hate speech” for it’s condemnation of homosexuality, and Canada has developed human rights commissions, which have decided people cannot express opposition to homosexuality without fear of government reprisal.

When same-sex friendships are twisted and sexualized, practitioners of “the sin that dare not speak its name” are forced, at every level, to merely mimic the genuine article. They jump through a series of inelegant hoops to create a fantasy world wherein two people of the same gender clumsily imitate natural heterosexual pairings properly designed for procreation and the healthy rearing of children.

Even “gay sex” (male-male anal sodomy) is a crude, man-made imitation of the natural heterosexual reproductive process. Sadly, as millions of homosexuals have had to learn the hard way, this disordered, makeshift simulation of a natural biological process is coldly rejected by the very human biology it mocks.

California Supreme Court overturns gay marriage ban

California’s supreme court ruled that a ban on gay marriage was unlawful Thursday, effectively leaving same-sex couples in America’s most populous state free to tie the knot in a landmark ruling.

In an opinion that analysts say could have nationwide implications for the issue, the seven-member panel voted 4-3 in favor of plaintiffs who argued that restricting marriage to men and women was discriminatory.

“… limiting the designation of marriage to a union ‘between a man and a woman’ is unconstitutional and must be stricken from the statute,” California Chief Justice Ron George said in the written opinion.

They call this a news worthy study of echinacea and colds? 58 people over 8 weeks! Give me a break!

Lets see, I would think that over 8 weeks about 20 of the 58 people would normally be expected to get a cold. Then of the 29 who took the echinacea (ten of these might get a cold in this period ) had 5 fewer sick days than the other 29 that took a placebo? Seems to me that your study supports that those who took echinacea had five fewer sick days and thus probably had fewer colds.

If you are going to publish studies on echinacea publish a study that actually proves something. A study needs to be done on hundreds or thousands of people over a whole season in the way that people are directed to take echinacea. You are not supposed to take echinacea everyday for colds. You only take it when you are exposed to colds or when you are already coming down with a cold to lessen the duration. We already have studies that prove if you take echinacea every day it becomes less effective and might even be worse then taking nothing at all. However, if you take it as directed studies prove it will help prevent colds and lessen the duration of colds.

The other day I got a computer magazine all talking about global warming and what we all need to do about it. So why would a computer magazine jump on the global warming bandwagon? I can’t really see it selling more issues, it might even make a few people like me angry enough to cancel their subscription. The only answer is that the editors of the magazine like so many others have been been successfully brainwashed.

No matter how much science is published discrediting man caused global warming we cannot reach the masses with the truth. That is because certain high level people in government, education and media are actively continuing the brainwashing. They simply have too much money and power to lose to ever admit that there is no true scientific facts backing their claims. It is just like trying to preach salvation in Jesus to those blinded by the world. They simply choose not to see and be saved.

The only way this socialist tax transfer scheme is going to be stopped is if God puts us into a ice age. People now only believe what they are told by their media masters and gurus. They have been so dumbed down in their schools that they cannot think for themselves. They just sit in front of the liberal media propaganda program for their daily feeding.

Think I am wrong? How else would you explain the current socialist nominations for president? The formation of the godless EUSR? The rise of the new fascist Russia? The rise of godless communist China? How do explain the voters in our own country thinking a Marxist with a social gospel contrary to the Bible will solve our foreign and domestic problems? How do you explain how any of this will solve the certain Western economic collapse caused by everyone spending beyond their means for decades? The world has obviously entered into a time of global brainwashing on many fronts.The whole world is being set up for a fascist socialist hybrid.

I have to tell you, the way this country is going it simply has no future. It will not exist as the United States by next decade. We do not have to wait for the fall of the United States, it is is already happening so fast that in a few years most of the country will be dwelling in a depressed socialist police state that might as well then be named the USS of A.

I simply do not see the majority of American people doing anything to stop this slide into Marxism and its brainwashing. Prove me wrong! Please!

Sacrificing many trillions of dollars of GDP for a trivial, 45-year-delayed and merely hypothetical reduction in average global temperature must be considered as exponentially more asinine than the dot-bombs of the late-1990s and the NINJA subprime loans that we now look upon scornfully.So who in their right mind would push for this?

I met many of them up-close-and-personal last week at a major Wall Street Journal conference at which I was an invited speaker. My fellow speakers included many CEOs (from General Electric, Wal-Mart, Duke Energy and Dow Chemical, to name just a few), California’s Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and the heads of several environmental activist groups.

The audience — a sold-out crowd of hundreds who had to apply to be admitted and pay a $3,500 fee — consisted of representatives of the myriad businesses that seek to make a financial killing from climate alarmism.

There were representatives of the solar, wind and biofuel industries that profit from taxpayer mandates and subsidies, representatives from financial services companies that want to trade permits to emit CO2, and public relations and strategic consultants to all of the above.

We libertarians would call such an event a rent-seekers ball — the vast majority of the audience was there to plot how they could lock in profits from government mandates on taxpayers and consumers. It was an amazing collection of pseudo-entrepreneurs who were absolutely impervious to the scientific and economic facts that ought to deflate the global warming bubble.

I do not agree with everything Frosty writes but I do see the hypocrisy in our marijuana laws. The same people who are busting people for marijuana are just as likely to be using it themselves in their own recreation time.

The costs to the nation of trying to enforce something that is not enforceable is huge. After over forty years of the DEA’s war on marijuana still over half the population of this nation uses it on one or more occasions and a significant population uses it regularly.

Millions have been imprisoned for doing nothing more than using a herb that is not anymore dangerous then many other herbs and substances that are perfectly legal. Certain people go to prison because they got caught while many high government officials and the rich and famous admit to the use of marijuana and are winked at.

It is police actions like this that fosters paranoia toward government enforcement agencies. The lucrative money in marijuana establishes illegal networks and gang wars over turf that get many people killed. These same networks then bring in harder drugs.

Marijuana laws are illogical. States cannot even agree on its enforcement. In one state it is a slap on the wrist to be in position of Marijuana and in another state it is a felony with a prison term that will ruin a persons life forever. It makes no sense.

The reason government courts are nationally cracking down on private instruction has more to do with suppressing alternative education than assuring educational standards.The rationale is quite simple, though rarely if ever stated. If one wants to control the future ebbs and flows of a country, one must have command over future generations. This is done by seizing parental and educational power, legislating preferred educational materials and limiting private educational options. It is so simple any socialist can understand it. As Joseph Stalin once stated, “Education is a weapon whose effects depend on who holds it in his hands and at whom it is aimed.”

Is it merely coincidental that homeschooling was outlawed by the Soviet State in 1919, by Hitler and Nazi Germany in 1938 and by Communist China in 1949? Will California be next? America? Will we yield control and our educational rights as parents? Such would not only be an American travesty but a human disgrace.

I have said that when people start taking kids out of public schools in California that they will start outlawing home schooling like they do in Germany. The court basically said that parents or even Christian homeschooling programs are not state approved programs. The court has declared that home schooling does not promote social interaction outside the family, it does not allow state social nanny police to determine if the child is brought up properly and they say that home schooling will be emotionally damaging. In other words parent home teaching will be outlawed by these socialist Nazis.

When the next administration takes over you can be sure that this will be the law nationwide. I think it is time for parents in the US to say enough is enough. We are not going to allow government to teach their perverted crap to our kids. If they try to force it on us they should know that they will reap whatever consequences are necessary. If that means constitutional amendments or secession form the State or Union so be it.

Judge orders homeschoolers
into government education

Specifically, the appeals court said, the trial court had found that “keeping the children at home deprived them of situations where (1) they could interact with people outside the family, (2) there are people who could provide help if something is amiss in the children’s lives, and (3) they could develop emotionally in a broader world than the parents’ ‘cloistered’ setting.”The appeals ruling said California law requires “persons between the ages of six and 18″ to be in school, “the public full-time day school,” with exemptions being allowed for those in a “private full-time day school” or those “instructed by a tutor who holds a valid state teaching credential for the grade being taught.”

The judges ruled in the case involving the Longs the family failed to demonstrate “that mother has a teaching credential such that the children can be said to be receiving an education from a credentialed tutor,” and that their involvement and supervision by Sunland Christian School’s independent study programs was of no value.

Assembly. Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger has taken numerous actions to
reduce global warming, but he has yet to weigh in on Simitian’s bill.

Other Republicans in the Capitol, however, are not happy about the
proposal.
Some say the science on global warming isn’t clear, while others worry
the bill would inject environmental propaganda into classrooms.
“I find it disturbing that this mandate to teach this theory is not
accompanied by a requirement that the discussion be science-based and
include a critical analysis of all sides of the subject,” said Sen. Tom
McClintock, R-Thousand Oaks, during the Senate debate.

Thus the money you think you raise in taxes by passing this law will not bring in the revenue that you expect, and it will often impact the innocent.
