Presidential candidates bailing out the pork

Did you know the $700 billion bail out bill was really about $850 billion after all the pork was added? That is how they changed votes. They bribed each vote with pork. We are seeing today how good the bailout did, as of this writing the stock market is down about 10 percent since the great rescue bill was signed a few days ago. Guess what? Our champions of fiscal responsibility running for President signed the bill with $112 billion of pork added. In the last debate they were arguing about saving some of the $16 billion in earmark spending. However, they just signed a bill that contained $112 Billion in pork in one shot and our dumb president signed it without even reading it. Someone might think that they all need to take some Zanax or were being blackmailed. Who knows, those who hold our dollars like China and the oil rich states may have given them an ultimatum. Pass the bail-out bill or the dollar goes down the toilet. That’s about the only thing that explains the panic.

If McCain or Obama still have the gall to lie in our face about cutting pork everyone should turn off their TV’s or walk out of there rallies. Why enable liars? What good will it be to try to save me a pork chop in the future when you just proved to America that you will vote for a huge pork feast.

Believe me, the bail-outs are not over. The FDIC will now need $200 billion to bail out the failing banks, State governments will need bailing out, Unemployment insurance will need bailing out and many more taxpayer bailouts will come in the future. Tax revenues will also fall and taxes are likely to be cut to stimulate the economy. By the time we get through this crises (if we do) we could easily be $15 trillion in debt. Those nations who are bailing us out now with low interest rate loans are not likely to do so after this crises is past for the world. But we will still have $15 trillion of debt to service at a interest rate given to a nation that spends way beyond its means. Think about what that means to this nation in the future.

The bail-a-holics

The truth is most lawmakers voted to pass the bill but don’t have a clue what is in this 500-plus page legislation, which was birthed in the White House just two weeks ago as an infant of only three pages. It was then voted down at the Capitol a week later in its adolescent-sized 100 pages. And of course, in good bureaucratic fashion, it passed mature criteria when it was more than five times the size and packed with governmental goodies. And the president signed it just an hour after receiving it from Capitol Hill on Friday – I guess that speed reading course paid off.

In the fine print, inserted between the lines of that 500-plus page bill, are loads of fiscal additives and more financial toxic relief. Yes, the rumors are true. H.R. 1424 – Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008, which has now been signed into law, officially includes more than $112 billion in political hors d’oeuvres and pork barrel additives that have absolutely no direct relation to the Wall Street bailout. Among them are:

* $6 million in tax breaks for wooden arrow manufacturers in Oregon;
* $148 million in tax breaks for wool-producing companies,
* $128 million in tax breaks for the manufacturers of car racing tracks;
* $10 million in tax breaks to small television and film producers;
* $223 million in tax breaks for Alaskan fisherman;
* $33 million for corporations operating in American Samoa;
* $192 million in tax breaks for rum producers in the Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.

What the &^%$#@?! And that’s just a drop in the bailout bucket. And We the Taxpayers are just supposed to sit back and take it in the arrears?

All is not lost, yet. We still have a voice in this bailout – it’s in the ballot box in November’s elections. The remedy for our country is clear: Congress doesn’t need another bailout, but a roundhouse kick right out the door. I plead with you to join me and millions of others in a voter revolution – to oust political and congressional corruption and stalemate. If representatives from your state and districts voted to pass this bailout bill and gamble nearly $1 trillion of our children’s and grandchildren’s taxpaying money, in addition to showing the reckless fiscal behavior of stuffing such a bill with perks and pork, you must not re-elect any such wayward incumbent.

FP: What inspired you to write this book?

Anderson: A sense of growing concern that the Left—with some help from a handful of Republicans—is keen on shushing right-of-center political speech. America in 2008 enjoys a remarkable, historically unprecedented abundance of new and old media outlets for obtaining news, information, and entertainment—something we celebrate as “the media cornucopia.” Think about it: newspapers (still) and magazines (more in existence than ever before); radio and television both broadcast and cable and satellite; DVDs; and of course the wild, dazzling, endlessly mutating Internet. As I argued in an earlier book, South Park Conservatives, this cornucopia has allowed viewpoints long downplayed or excluded in the mainstream, including conservative and libertarian ideas, to get a much wider public hearing, especially via political talk radio and the blogosphere.

Many people—incumbent politicians in general, but above all the political Left—hate this profusion and are keen to contain it, pare it back, get rid of it. Our book documents the most dangerous regulatory measures being brewed up in Washington, or already in place, to do this: a new Fairness Doctrine, or regulatory analogue; “network neutrality”; and the extension of campaign finance restrictions to cover media. The book tries to alert Americans to a danger to their political liberties and explain, in a clear a way as possible, the way complex media regulations work in practice in ways that have profound political implications.

FP: Overall, what do you think is new and fresh about your book and what do you hope it will achieve?

Anderson: I think our book is the first to explain, in as clear and systematic a way as possible, the extent of the threat to political speech being cooked up in Washington as we do this interview—and with the prospect of an Obama presidency and a Democratic Congress, the time is now to understand what’s at stake and fight back. It is also encourages conservatives to embrace media freedom rather than pursue their own regulatory crusades on things like cleaning up cable television. The Right has benefited hugely from the proliferation of outlets and media in recent years and should recognize that fact.

Chuck Norris book outlines the problems in America and gives solution

Joe Farah gives a book review in this article on “Black Belt Patriotism: How to Reawaken America”, by Chuck Norris. It sounds like a greatly needed and timely book by a very astute Christian champion. I hope many will read it, get educated and join the cultural revolution to reawaken America. Then in 2012 maybe we need to put an American patriot like Chuck Norris in the White House instead of the usual politician.

Don’t even think for a moment you won’t learn anything in a book by “an actor” or a “martial arts master.”

He sets out with a clear vision of the problems besetting us:

* Americans have forgotten their heritage, their history, the uniqueness of the founding documents that set the country apart;

* Americans have lost their sense of fiscal responsibility, resulting in mountains of debt – both public and private; (What a timely lesson this is!)

* Americans have permitted their borders to get out of control, allowed their elected officials to get away with non-enforcement of immigration laws, and tolerated a breakdown in national sovereignty that is leading to “the possible creation of a North American Union”;

* Americans have lost their moral compass;

* Americans no longer believe in the sanctity of human life;

* Americans are robbing their children of their innocence and their futures;

* Americans have participated in the destruction of the family;

* Americans are getting fat and lazy.

Chuck Norris also recognizes the solutions to these problems and restoration of America’s greatness will not come in the political arena alone – not by a long shot. It won’t come because we elect the right politician to be president. It won’t even come by electing a good Congress.

He sees a long battle ahead – a cultural revolution.

Governor Blunt accuses Obama of using Missouri Law Enforcement for intimidation of critics.

This accusation is being made by a governor of a soverign U.S. state. It is not being made by some obscure figure. Just think of what Obama’s people will do if he ever gets into the Presidency. If you think it will not happen you do not understand the fascist Far Left that is once again taking control of many nations of the world including ours. If you think you can get the Far Left out of power once they control everything you are very naive. We know the Left media will not report this but where is the Attorney General of the U.S. ?

A slave nation once known as America now needs bailouts

The government is about to let the taxpayer bailout all the greedy gamblers that have been gambling with your investment money for many years and have now run out of luck. Don’t just blame the gamblers and the corporation heads that hired them either. They were hired because people who had stock in these companies expected unrealistic returns year after year. If you expected ten percent on your investments each year or if you bought a house that you knew you could not afford on the speculation that it would go up in value then look in the mirror the government is actually attempting to bail you out

It is going to be much like the saving and loans bailout of yesteryear magnified to a much larger scale. In fact no one knows how much this is going to cost the American taxpayer. It will probably cost trillions. The power brokers say they have to do this or the whole system will collapse. That is correct, but maybe it should collapse because the national debt will soon bring the living standards of everyone in the United States to that of a second world nation anyway. Who gave the federal government such powers and why was the American system allowed to become a Federal Reserve Bank protectorate?

The government now realizes that it cannot keep bailing out one company at a time or the stock market will crash and the whole house of cards will come down and many will lose most of their investments. That is politically not acceptable so they are going to create an agency that bails out all the bad debt.

The joke is that Congress and the President have been trying to save a billion here and a billion there for years in order to keep the budget deficit as low as possible but in one huge bailout they will add more to the national debt then they saved by their budget cuts over a lifetime. Most of these same jokers will then come back next year and play the same game again by talking about reducing the budget deficit while the bailout will cause the deficits in the next few years to far exceed any in American history. It is simply nuts.

In order to appease you in this downturn they will add more tax cuts and give us another stimulus package that will add even more hundreds of billions to next year’s deficit. It is like giving everyone on government assistance food stamps to keep them in T-bones.

They will also put all these failed corporations under government control and bring in control boards to manage them. So we will have free enterprise replaced with socialist bureaucratic decree. Those restructured bureaucratic controlled corporations will be a disaster in the making and the taxpayer will keep paying more billions for their continued losses.

Don’t worry be happy, your not going to have to pay this debt burden just yet because we can’t. So it will all be financed. That means we will have to acquire more loans from foreign nations to finance our increasing national debt. That also means the U.S. will become more dependent on countries like China and the oil rich nations that acually hate us. Anytime they wish to force us to do their bidding they will have a huge debt club to pound us over the head with.

The Bible says the borrower becomes the slave of the leader. The U.S. is becoming a slave nation because it will be totally dependent on other nations that will not allow us to be free.

So add a trillion here and a trillion there and pretty soon we are borrowing more than the loan sharks wish to lend us. Then we will have to promise them higher and higher interest on our debt in order to get the loans. We are about $10 trillion in debt right now and this bailout and the economic downturn will cost us at least two trillion more debt within two years. That means we will be paying interest on over $12 trillion every single year. Even at 5 percent interest the cost will be $600 billion a year and I doubt if interest rates will remain that low.

Add the fifty trillion dollar entitlement bill that is coming due in the future and there is simply no way that the U.S. can go on without doing one of two things and either one will bring this nation to poverty. The first is to default on our debt to other nations and the second is to print more money and cause the dollar to be worth far less. We cannot really default or we are finished in this world so be prepared for double digit inflation for decades to come and do not expect your earnings to keep up. In fact, expect a standard of living in a decade that is about half of what you have today. The government printing more and more dollars will weaken the dollar bringing hyperinflation so then the outstanding debt will either become a smaller part of the GNP or the lenders will stop lending. If they stop lending we are also finished in the world. So the future for the U.S. is hyperinflation or isolationism and depression that will make the 1930’s look like the good times.

The government may have bailed out the economic crises this year but doing so will just make a much worse economic crises in the near future. I think all the greedy pigs in the banks and brokerage markets and all the fools in government and all the people who elected them deserve the Demented Delusional and Dumb Club award. The greedy slobs and their bought and paid for representatives in government deserve this award for killing a once prosperous free nation and making it a socialist slave nation. Congratulations!

So how do we go back to free America? We cannot, unless the slaves escape the nation  controlled by the globalist elite.

Chuck Norris fights for America in “Black Belt Patriotism”

This article reviews a book that Chuck Norris wrote about American patriotism and Christian values. Norris is now becoming a major champion of American patriotism and religious freedoms. We need to get back to the root values and Judeo-Christian principles of the founders of our nation. Chuck Norris is now obviously a champion fighting for America.

Book Review: Chuck Norris’ ‘Black Belt Patriotism’ - HUMAN EVENTS

Whether discussing the war on terrorism, fiscal discipline or the removal of God from the public square, Norris makes it clear that re-embracing, promoting and and respecting the Judeo-Christian principles that guided our founders is indispensable to America becoming as great as she can be. Far from advocating any sort of theocracy, Norris asserts that the very Constitution we now adhere to functions best when the moral foundations of our republic are championed. In defense of that position, he quotes Thomas Paine, who said, “Spiritual freedom is the root of political freedom…As the union between spiritual freedom and political liberty seems nearly inseparable, it is our duty to defend both.” John Adams added, “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to to the government of any other.” Norris also cites George Washington, who argued against the notion that a nation can remain moral “in exclusion of religious principle”.

He also fights back against the argument that Thomas Jefferson argued for the “separation of church and state,” by using the very letter of Jefferson’s to the Danbury Baptists that contains that phrase. In context, Norris observes that Jefferson’s point was not to slam the door on religious expression “but to prohibit the domination and even legislation of religious sectarianism.” He also adds that Jefferson attended church services at the U.S. Capitol just two days after writing the letter — hardly a sign he wanted no intermingling of government and religion. In another nice touch, Norris prints the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution and the Ten Commandments at the end of the book, just to remind readers what each of them contains.

Norris quotes The Founders not only with respect to the key social issues of the day but also with respect to our nation’s mounting debt. He blasts the government for its wasteful ways, pointing out that the cost of minting pennies and nickels exceeds the values of those coins. The IRS is also a major target of his when it comes to the nation’s taxes. Norris says our Founders would be “horrified” to see the bloated bureaucracies and heavy tax burdens — which were, after all, one of the major reasons for the revolution. He pounds home the point with the words of Patrick Henry, who asserted that unless properly restricted, tax collectors will “go into your cellars and rooms and search, ransack, and measure, everything you eat, drink, and wear.”

Jonathan Freedland says the world will not like us if we do not elect their Obama.

Awwwww! Maybe you Europeans ought to get it into your socialist godless heads that Americans don’t want your stinking system. If the rest of the world does not like us for rejecting a mouth with no judgment and his Far Left socialist programs they do not have to come here to live. Obama’s programs will cost us a trillion dollars in new taxes. We don’t want them. Keep your fifty percent tax rates over there.

Maybe you should take something for that sinking feeling that you British liberals get in your stomach when America elects a conservative. May I suggest taking a biblical course and a course on the U.S. Constitution as a remedy. We are not like you and we will never be like you unless we start to elect people like Obama.

My golly! A woman who mentions that God blesses a state and nation when there heart is right with God is just too much for Jonathan. We can’t have that kind of narrow minded Christian thinking in godless Europe can we? Gee Jonathan, where did your name come from? Was it the Bible? Maybe you should change your name like Obama did. “Obedient Slavedland” seems about appropriate to me.

In America someone is going to lose the election sure enough, so if those in the blue states want to whine about losing all the time they might try putting up a candidate that does not always come from the Far Left reaches of their party. You know, that part of the Democratic Party that mostly appeals to elite control freaks and their brainwashed subjects. The subjects that tend to be mostly government welfare lazies and kids in rebellion that will not even get off their butt to vote.

The American election is not a global ballet, Jonathan. We don’t tell you how to vote so don’t presume you know what is best for Americans. We could care less what persons around the world would vote for because they are not voting for our leader. We are! I am sure all the leftist dictators around the world will be jumping for glee if Obama wins, we would expect nothing less. If America really was so out of touch with what is right in the world, the world would not need us to keep bailing their butt out of the fire all the time. You ought to thank the God you do not believe in that there has been a America with good judgment.

Now you know why the majority of us in the U.S. will not vote for that leftist media promotion called Obama and if we do you better run for your life because the world is suddenly going to become a very unstable place.

What you do not get is that the dispute with you Europeans has always been with the Americans themselves and not with our ruling clique. Our government is a government of the people, by the people, and for the people. We are not a government of the elite like Europe. We want so little to do with Europe that most of our ancestors departed from it because of your evil. If it were not for the fifth column of Leftists that have taken over the American media and educational system you would find out just how conservative the heartland of America really is.

Stick that thought in your pipe and suck on it. It should soon give you such a deep sinking feeling in your stomach that maybe you will want to give up writing stupid commentaries about some great black socialist hope for America and the world. You also might realize that the EU is not in the free world.

An America that disdains Obama for his global support risks turning current anti-Bush feeling into something far worse

The feeling is familiar. I had it four years ago and four years before that: a sinking feeling in the stomach. It’s a kind of physical pessimism which says: “It’s happening again. The Democrats are about to lose an election they should win - and it could not matter more.”

Remember, this is a woman who once addressed a church congregation, saying of her work as governor - transport, policing and education - “really all of that stuff doesn’t do any good if the people of Alaska’s heart isn’t right with God”.

If Sarah Palin defies the conventional wisdom that says elections are determined by the top of the ticket, and somehow wins this for McCain, what will be the reaction? Yes, blue-state America will go into mourning once again, feeling estranged in its own country. A generation of young Americans - who back Obama in big numbers - will turn cynical, concluding that politics doesn’t work after all. And, most depressing, many African-Americans will decide that if even Barack Obama - with all his conspicuous gifts - could not win, then no black man can ever be elected president.

But what of the rest of the world? This is the reaction I fear most. For Obama has stirred an excitement around the globe unmatched by any American politician in living memory. Polling in Germany, France, Britain and Russia shows that Obama would win by whopping majorities, with the pattern repeated in Africa, Asia, the Middle East and Latin America. If November 4 were a global ballot, Obama would win it handsomely. If the free world could choose its leader, it would be Barack Obama.

If Americans choose McCain, they will be turning their back on the rest of the world, choosing to show us four more years of the Bush-Cheney finger. And I predict a deeply unpleasant shift.

Until now, anti-Americanism has been exaggerated and much misunderstood: outside a leftist hardcore, it has mostly been anti-Bushism, opposition to this specific administration. But if McCain wins in November, that might well change. Suddenly Europeans and others will conclude that their dispute is with not only one ruling clique, but Americans themselves. For it will have been the American people, not the politicians, who will have passed up a once-in-a-generation chance for a fresh start - a fresh start the world is yearning for.

Law suit filed against Obama and the DNC on the validity of his natural born U.S. citizenship

Good start, but even if this goes to Jury trial he could be out of office before it is heard or we could end up with a Joe Biden slap in the face. There should be a way of forcing candidates to reveal their citizenship before then are nominated and elected. Somebody in the legal system needs to figure out how we do that.

Why a vote for a Democrat in our national government might be a vote to end our Republic.

A Democratic Party President, a Democratic House and a filibuster proof Democratic Senate would be the end of this nation as we know it. When are people going to realize that this secular humanist amoral Democratic party is not the Democratic party of our fathers? The national party is now controlled by radical left wing elitist power brokers. It is a fifth column of elite that wants to force the U.S. to conform to the socialist globalist rules of the UN and the EU.

We would be a Left wing Fascist socialist nation in no time. Within a year or two they would have a liberal Supreme Court to uphold their unconstitutional laws and anything Obama, Harry and Nanny wanted they would get. The whole U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights would be redefined by godless socialists. By the end of term they will have changed media laws, they will have put into effect anti Christian hate speech laws and they will have made broad political changes that will insure that they stay in power. Somewhat like Putin and his Fascist people are now doing in Russia.

Even if they do not get their filibuster proof majority in the Senate it does not mean that we are out of the woods. If there is a Democratic President the scum suckers will try to change the Senate rules and stop filibusters all together and they will probably succeed. The only reason these bottom feeding scum suckers have not attempted to do that already is that they know that a Senate rules change now would not help them with a Republican President in office who would veto their bills.

So gee…nothing less then our Republic is on the line during the next election. So if you want to live under left wing Fascism you know how to vote. I find it simply unbelievable that so many people in this nation continue to vote for a national party that has not taken a correct moral stand on any significant issue in decades. Don’t you people even believe what your religion teaches? If not quit pretending! Admit you believe in nothing but how the government can give you a free handout.

Don’t count on being able to remove these bottom feeders in four years like some say will happen either. By then the rules of the political game will have changed and they will have muzzled free speech. We could even be under Marshall law. You will need a military coup to get the scum suckers out of office if that happens.

Don’t also count on the U.S becoming some Christian socialist paradise through the liberals passing huge give away programs and bailouts that this nation cannot afford. The failed economic polices of socialism will put us in the worse economic times in the history of this nation. We are in trouble already because of a democrat controlled House and Senate. Just one example is the cost of gas. Why do you think gas is four dollars a gallon? It is because liberals would not let people drill where there is significant oil or build refineries for twenty years.

Left wing naive wishful thinking will bring foreign policy miscalculation against Iran, Russia, and others that will probably put us in the third world war. So vote for a Democrat and also sign up for the draft.

You cannot say you were not warned when you still go ahead and vote for that Democrat.

Here’s an intriguing thought: The John McCain-Barack Obama fight isn’t this season’s biggest political story. That honor should be reserved for the intense Democratic push to win a filibuster-proof Senate majority.

Democrats know this is a huge prize, and they are throwing at least as much money and sweat into that effort as they are into electing Mr. Obama. What isn’t clear is that voters are as aware of the stakes. An unstoppable Democratic Senate has the potential to alter the balance of power in Washington in ways not yet seen.

Mr. Reid won’t necessarily need 60 votes to hold Washington’s whip hand. With a contingent of blue-state Republicans (think Maine’s Olympia Snowe), Mr. Reid could peel off votes and have an “effective” filibuster with just 57 or 58 seats. That may not be enough to accomplish every last item on his wish list, but close.

That wish list? Take a look at what House Democrats (who aren’t burdened with a filibuster) unilaterally passed last year: The biggest tax increase in history; card check, which eliminates secret ballots in union organizing elections; an “energy” bill that lacks drilling; vastly expanded government health insurance; new powers to restrict pharmaceutical prices. Add to this a global warming program, new trade restrictions (certainly no new trade deals) and fewer private options in Medicare.

Mychal Massie sums up in seven very short paragraphs why America is not the nation it was and is not the nation it could be and what he says is totally contrary to what Obama stands for.

Asked in Elkhart, Ind., by a 7-year-old little girl, why he wanted to be president, Barack Obama answered: “Because I don’t believe that America is what it could be [or] what it once was – and I don’t want that for my little girls.”

Parsing his statement, “He doesn’t want our America for [his] little girls,” because he doesn’t “believe [it is] what it once was.” On that point, I agree with him, albeit for completely different reasons.

So here you have it. Polosi and Obama plan to legalize homosexual marriage nationwide by repealing the Defense of Marriage Act. Do not be deceived, the only thing you can do to stop it is to not vote for a Democrat for president and do not vote for a Democrat for the House or Senate. Do not count on a constitutional amendment to change this. It would take years to pass and at the rate this country is going downhill and being brainwashed they will have the votes to stop any constitutional amendment long before it gets ratified by the required number of states.

Obama for President? You have got to be kidding!

Here are two pretty good articles on Obama. I think they peg him about right. He is a arrogant black liberation Marxist. If American is fooled by this half black arrogance they will see him rule over the demise of America.

How did America come to the place where they might even elect to President someone that was a drug abuser, a man with no national experience, a man that has known association with criminals and terrorists, a man that joined with a black theology religious cult for twenty years, a man who grew up among Islam and was highly influenced by Marxism who will not even show normal American patriotism in public. a man who confesses Christianity but denies it by every amoral stand he takes, a self professed pluralistic univeralist who believes that all religious lead to the same god, a man that will pass hate speech laws that will muzzle Christian free speech, a man we know will appoint people to the Supreme Court that will redefine our Constitution and Our Bill of Rights to mean what they want it to mean, and so forth?

Is is just because he can say “yes we can“? Well up to recently on oil he has said no we cannot and has shown himself to be an Olympic flip flopper on many issues. Or perhaps it is because he can say “change“? So is this the loose change that you want in the White House? If anyone remembers Jimmy Carter’s presidency, Obama’s will even make him look Presidential. Think of Obama, Reed, Pelosi, and a liberal Supreme Court running this country and you might think the U.S. became the first state of Cuba.

Obama thinks he’s better than you

The more I observe the great illusionist Barack Obama, the more I am convinced that if he is able to dupe enough voters into putting him in charge it will be the most entertaining presidency in the history of the office. Is there really any sane person who believes this guy would make a good president?

Forget for a moment the people with whom he associates. Look past the bomber, mad preacher, angry wife and crooked slumlord. They are merely distractions. Forget the lack of experience or substantive legislation during his short stint in the Senate. Just focus on his current actions.

When he takes the stage, there is an air of arrogance I have never sensed from anyone else in a similar situation. There is a tone of pompousness and entitlement. One gets the sense that Obama feels he is doing his attendees a favor for allowing them in his presence. His body language screams, “I am better than you.” His confidence is not quiet. His soaring rhetoric is accompanied by the dropping of the final syllable or vowel. His almost preacher-like twang is devoid of even the slightest shred of modesty.

Properly inflating our tires and keeping our cars tuned are not the answer to the energy crunch. Sending a $1,000 check to every American and sending the bill to Exxon is not an energy policy. Printing money to bail out banks and stop foreclosures is not the answer to bad decisions.

Government is not the answer to our problems; government is the problem. The sooner an honest politician declares so and puts forth legislation to shrink government, the better off we will all be.

Obama’s hissing

One of many sayings I remember from my grandmother is, “If the hiss doesn’t tell you it’s a snake, then the fact that it slithers on its belly in the dirt should.” And to that point, if the company Barack Obama has kept (read the dirt he has aligned himself with) doesn’t tell you he is a Marxist reparationist, then the words from his mouth, i.e., his hiss, certainly should.

Obama repeatedly told the NAACP, “I’ve been working my entire adult life to help build an America where ‘economic justice’ is being served. And as president, we’ll ensure that ‘economic justice’ is served. That’s what this election is about.” (”Barack Obama’s Stealth Socialism,” Investor’s Business Daily, July 28, 2008.)

“Economic justice” is just an oblique euphemism for wealth redistribution, i.e., Marxism – “from each according to their ability, to each according to their need.” IBD theorizes Obama’s intent is a massive transfer of wealth from those who have money to those whom he defines as poor. Worse, he views it as a global obligation.

PBS is going on the attack against the fundamental beliefs of two major religions with your tax dollars. If you keep voting in Liberals they will continue to fund these these attacks on the fundamentals of Christianity and Judaism. The truth is that your government funded station is promoting an attack against two major religions in favor of the religion of secular humanism. That is unconstitutional.  Don’t you think it is time for us to do away with this Secular Humanism brainwashing platform?

PBS promotes official state religion

Coming this November from PBS’ “Nova” series is a “documentary” suggesting the following:

* Abraham and Sara, the patriarchal couple of Judaism and Christianity, didn’t really exist.

* The Exodus of the children of Israel from Egypt never really happened.

* The Hebrew Tanach, what Christians call the Old Testament, was mostly written just six centuries before the time of Jesus.

Now keep in mind who is funding this program and the network that will air it – you, the American taxpayer.

It would be insulting enough to Christians and Jews in America if a private corporation were producing this kind of attack on the foundation of the two faiths. But this is an assault made possible by government – the same government, by the way, that is flirting with reinstituting the so-called “Fairness Doctrine” to limit free expression by private broadcasters.

I don’t know about you, but this makes me angry.

That is an outrage.

It’s more than an outrage. It is unconstitutional and un-American.

It is, in fact, just the kind of thing the Founding Father had in mind when they wrote the First Amendment prohibiting the establishment of a state religion.

That is precisely what is happening when the U.S. government funds propaganda promoting what has become, de facto, the official state church in America – secular humanism.

It’s way past time to pull the plug on PBS and National Public Radio and all the other propaganda arms of the federal government’s promotion of socialism and secular humanism and every other imaginable failed idea.

It will be interesting to see how the liberal socialists will get by the First Amendment to the U.S constitution when they pass their hate speech laws that they are all but certain to pass under the next administration.

Ultimately the hate speech laws will be tested and decided by the Supreme Court on its constitutionality. The court by this point will be Liberal. The judges will then just redefine the Bill of Rights in the Constitution to what they want it to say rather than what it clearly says. Its already happened in the Supreme Court of California.

Once the Constitution can be redefined by a few people in black robes it will have lost its meaning and will be subverted. Then we will see tyranny right here in the good old U.S.A.

After those laws are passed and upheld you can be certain that the special interest groups will be monitoring everything that is said anywhere and turning anything that hurts their feelings over to the thought police for enforcement and punishment.

Then it will be time for the oppressed to overthrow this government tyranny or start a new free union of states that abides by the Constitution of the U.S.

As everyone who ever served in the military, government and police forces knows, you have already sworn to uphold the Constitution of the United States against all enemies foreign and domestic. We can read for ourselves what the Bill of Rights says and no redefining of the Bill of Rights is going to change the self-evident truths of the wording within those bills passed by U.S. constitutional amendment.

If the liberal progressives want to do away with our rights they need to do it by passing a constitutional amendment to do that but they know it will never pass. So, the domestic enemies of our system will try legislating unconstitutional laws and then stacking the justice system with like minded people.

Perhaps the most important basis for a free society is the right of free political and religious speech. In every totalitarian society there is an oppression of these two foundations of freedom. Why? The answer is simple. Those in power who have a tyrannical motivation are afraid the masses may be swayed by ideas that are contrary to their indoctrination. Thus any opposing ideas become the weapon of freedom that must be stopped. The basic understanding of the power of free speech was recognized by our founding fathers as a deterrent to tyrannical government.

Due to this relativistic thinking problem the society is bending concerning these rights. That is a fact that should scare anyone who holds “these truths to be self evident.” The abridging of free religious and political speech is an affront against the liberty of all. Why is it a problem for all? It is a problem for all because once the freedom is gone it is gone for everyone. When a system turns to tyranny, all people are caught in its grip and become part of the totalitarian system.

Due to the insanity of the left, liberals, homosexual activists, and rabid race baiters, it has now become more acceptable to limit the freedom of political and religious speech. The idea that the government should have the right to punish people simply based on their thoughts and ideas is a complete abandonment of the Constitutional principles this nation was founded on.

Those who want the so called “hate speech” legislation are directly attacking one of the most sacred freedoms we have. The truth is that you have a right to hate me but you do not have a right to act out on that hate in any way that violates my person, property, or rights. You see, we must not legislate thoughts or we are destined to have all free thoughts at risk.

Those of you who are reading this who believe in “hate speech legislation” need to rethink your position. Who gets to decide what “hate” is? Do you want the government running around punishing people for what they say and think? What happens when someone decides that your speech is hateful? Are you ready for them to limit your thinking and expression? In order for freedom to work, there must be the right to speak unpopular positions without threats and intimidation from the government.

The first amendment of the Constitution says “Congress shall make no law.” How is it that Congress is attempting to make a law limiting the speech of Americans? How is it that so many people seem to think that this is a good idea? Why is there no outrage from the masses about this blatant attack on our foundational liberties? Why? Because most people have no idea what the Constitution says or why it says it. Most Americans have been dumbed down to the point where they simply do not grasp the principles of liberty that America was founded on.

It is clear what is really going on in the push for “hate speech” legislation. The left wants to stop preachers from preaching against homosexuality. There is also a Gestapo like insanity against anyone who would dare to criticize a racial minority. If for example a person is speaking out against affirmative action racial preferences, who’s to say that is not hateful? If my speech offends you, that is the price of freedom. If you do not wish to pay that price, I suggest you move to one of the many totalitarian states where your every word and movement are controlled.

Since Americans depend on government more each day the war against our liberty has begun. Some of us are fighting against the powers of tyranny. I hope you join us in the fight for the heart and soul of our country before the powers of socialism and liberal social decay completely overtake us. Wake up and smell the truth. The time to fight is now!

Unlimited judiciary powers are not the law of the land

Paul Weyrich makes an interesting and a strong point in this article. The courts do not have the power to make law or to enforce law. They are advisory and just decide their opinion of laws. The legislative branch of government does not have to take their advice to make laws that the people that they represent do not want. The Executive branch of government likewise does not have to enforce laws it does not agree with. If these branches do not abide by judiciary decisions they have only the people to answer to. Otherwise, those in the judiciary make the law of the land and all government is then ruled by judges. We then no longer have a constitutional republic.

Having said that, do legislators and government executives have the guts to say we are not going to abide by demented rulings of federal judges? Since we know that they are all cowed our representative form of government is as good as dead. So, welcome to the government of the Judges, by the Judges and for the lawyers and judiciary tyrants.

However, also be aware that “we the people” can restore the checks and balances established in the Constitution whenever we want. How we achieved that is really up to the people.

The grand formalities of American election rituals hide a glaring fact: Americans can no longer claim that we are our own rulers in every circumstance in which we are empowered to be. Regardless of our votes, the defining judgments in our collective and personal destinies often are made by persons whom the American people have not elected to rule.

We gave judges their robes and gavels so that they might resolve specific disputes between specific plaintiffs and defendants. We never gave them authority to issue commands to our elected lawmakers, forcing us down roads which we have not chosen to travel. Judges have no constitutional authority to make laws or to amend our national and state constitutions. They have no authority to redefine words and concepts in our laws to mean what they and their ideological partisans wish for them to mean.

Not a single signer of the Constitution (or of the Declaration of Independence) would have taken seriously the purportedly “conservative” view today that to restrain judges we need to replace them through attrition over decades. That view, in my opinion, guarantees a victory of the far left because it implies that the judicial branch is the final authority on the law.

For the sake of this republic I urge my friends, fellow leaders and Americans emphatically to repudiate the devastating myth that judges have the power to make and redefine our laws. We should do so rapidly and forcefully before our republic is replaced by the irresistible tyranny of men and women who believe that nihilist elites should make the rules and pass them to judges for formal announcement when the time is ripe for the latest step into the post-rule of law, post-moral abyss. Otherwise our “conservatism” will continue to be merely the rearguard for subtle left-wing revolution.

The tragedy of how we have reached this point: in our desire for social acceptance and respectability among the anti-constitutional, anti-rule of law, anti-Christian, anti-family nihilist left, “conservative” elites have abandoned the core principles of our Constitution.

To consider the judges as the ultimate arbiters of all constitutional questions [is] a very dangerous doctrine indeed, and one which would place us under the despotism of an oligarchy. …The Constitution has erected no such single tribunal, knowing that to whatever hands confided, with the corruptions of time and party, its members would become despots.

Alexander Hamilton was perhaps the strongest advocate of “judicial review” – the right of judges to opine on our Constitution. But an opinion on the meaning of the Constitution is merely an advisory opinion to the legislative and executive branches of government. Not even Hamilton imagined that the right to opine is a power to rule. Courts, he pointed out, intentionally have been given no means of enforcing their opinions, noting that the executive and legislative branches are not compelled to obey false or dubious opinions.

…If the policy of the government, upon vital questions, affecting the whole people, is to be irrevocably fixed by decisions of the Supreme Court, the instant they are made, in ordinary litigation between parties, in personal actions, the people will have ceased, to be their own rulers, having, to that extent, practically resigned their government, into the hands of that eminent tribunal.

In the last century cultural elites created an illusion of judicial power that would be unrecognizable to earlier Americans, lawyers and laymen. After the American Revolution, the framers of the Constitution rejected any judicial authority over the other branches of government.

Many of those with whom I have worked for years unwittingly are aiding the far left in the destruction of America. It is time for our presidents, governors, legislatures and prominent citizens to call the bluff of impotent judges as Jefferson did and to ask them, as President Andrew Jackson did, how they will enforce their impotent opinions. The myth of judicial supremacy cannot justify governors violating state and federal constitutions, their oaths of office and the sovereignty of the American people. Look at the way so-called gay marriage has been imposed by judicial fiat, running ruthlessly over elected legislatures and the will of the people.

San Francisco: A city in rebellion against God

San Francisco is a city in open rebellion against God. They say the Catholic Church is hateful, defamatory, insensitive and ignorant but those terms actually applies to the city and county board and those who elect them. Any look at health records would prove that those who practice homosexual perversion have brought increased disease and death. This is what the Bible said would happen and it is also why God forbids the practice.

We have freedom of speech in this country but apparently not in San Francisco. Assemblyman Mark Leno told those who express their views on Homosexuality to get out of San Francisco. There is no question in my mind that San Francisco will receive due judgment from God sooner rather than later for its rebellion.

It is also obvious that there is a demented segment of our society that intends to make Christian religious expression and certain passages of the Bible hate speech in this nation. If the make up of the U.S. Senate becomes more Liberal these laws will pass and these laws will be signed by the next President.

Major U.S. city officially condemns Catholic Church

A San Francisco city and county board resolution that officially labeled the Catholic church’s moral teachings on homosexuality as “insulting to all San Franciscans,” “hateful,” “defamatory,” “insensitive” and “ignorant” will be challenged tomorrow in court for violating the Constitution’s prohibition of government hostility toward religion.

Resolution 168-08, passed unanimously by the City and County of San Francisco Board of Supervisors two years ago, also accused the Vatican of being a “foreign country” meddling with and attempting to “negatively influence (San Francisco’s) existing and established customs.”

It said of the church’s teaching on homosexuality, “Such hateful and discriminatory rhetoric is both insulting and callous, and shows a level of insensitivity and ignorance which has seldom been encountered by this Board of Supervisors.”

Thomas More attorney Robert Muise will present oral arguments in the case tomorrow morning in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. “Our Constitution plainly forbids hostility toward any religion, including the Catholic faith,” he said in a news release.

“In total disregard for the Constitution, homosexual activists in positions of authority in San Francisco have abused their authority as government officials and misused the instruments of the government to attack the Catholic Church. Their egregious abuse of power has now the backing of a lower federal court. … Unfortunately, all too often we see a double standard being applied in Establishment Clause cases,” Muise said.

Openly gay California Assemblyman Mark Leno told protesters of the teen rally that though such religious people may be few, “they’re loud, they’re obnoxious, they’re disgusting, and they should get out of San Francisco.”

Currently, as WND has reported, the states of Colorado and Michigan are tackling the question of whether the Bible itself can be vilified as “hate speech” for it’s condemnation of homosexuality, and Canada has developed human rights commissions, which have decided people cannot express opposition to homosexuality without fear of government reprisal.

Civics 101. We do not need one House of Representatives member from each state but we do need election reform.

Well Chuck Norris, I usually agree with you and I see the problem but your solution is not at all logical and it would not bring good government. We already have two separate branches in the legislator branch of government to deal with the representation problem. What you are proposing would effectively do away with the role of the House of Representatives. The Senate has two representatives from each state because that government body is meant to give equal representation to each state in the Union. However the House of Representatives is supposed to represent the population of the nation. The point of this is not to have a bunch of low population states dictating law to high population states at the national level. If you reduced the House to one member from each state as you suggest you would just have a second Senate. So the states would be doubly represented but the people of this nation would not have equal representation at the nation level.

If we were to do what you suggest we might as well become 50 independent nations or go under a unified treaty like what the EU is proposing and let unelected bureaucrats be appointed by the Senate to dictate federal governance over all the states (of course if we did that we would soon be under tyranny)

The problem is not the number of representatives in the House of Representatives the 9 percent approval rate reflects that these people are not representing the people or more likely that the nation is so divided that they can accomplish nothing.

We need to start electing representatives to the House that represent the common people. That means the make up of the House should not all be professional politicians and lawyers. That would take care of part of the problem but like I said, much of the reason the House and Senate can do nothing is because the people in this nation are deeply divided. That problem cannot be resolved in a Republican without a majority vision or compromise.

One thing we can do is to have major election reform. Incumbents have a huge fund raising advantage and media coverage advantage. Money should not be a factor in national elections but it is now the major factor. If it were not, the make up of the House would change overnight.

Mad as h— and not going to take it anymore!

I don’t only think there are too many cooks in Congress’ kitchen nowadays, but the numbers are stacked in discriminatory ways. For example, if California represents a larger liberal voice with its 53 representatives, what chance or how fair is it for smaller more conservative states who have between one and five representatives and votes in the House? The U.S. doesn’t need a new reapportionment act to raise the number of representatives, but a return to the Constitution to reduce the number of representatives in pursuit of creating more equitable regions or districts. Personally, I believe, just as we have one governor per state, we should consider reducing Congress to one representative and two senators per state (the minimal by constitutional requirements). If one representative works for Alaska, Delaware, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Vermont and Wyoming, why can’t it work for all the rest of the states? Here’s a movie we all can star in: “Honey, I shrunk the Congress!”

Obama’s government controlled faith-based secular socialism

Do not be deceived here is the heart of Obama’s Faith-Based Initiatives. It allows no expression of faith at all and will control those in it. Obama wants to use Federal tax payer money to help secularize and control faith-based groups. These proposals actually show that Obama is a radical socialist who wants government control over religion contrary to the U.S. Constitution that says, “congress should pass no law that prohibits its free exercise“.

This is also a deception to deceive naive people on the religious right. Be aware that Obama is not for faith in God changing society he really is proposing government controlled religion that is practicing socialism. This is not faith-based Initiatives.

1) In an Obama administration, the federal government would supervise the hiring process of faith-based groups to make sure they do not give preference to employees who share the faith of the organization.

2) In an Obama administration, the federal government would only give money to “secular programs” of faith-based groups.

In his own words, Senator Obama explains and justifies his reforms in this way:

“Now, make no mistake, as someone who used to teach constitutional law, I believe deeply in the separation of church and state, but I don’t believe this partnership will endanger that idea - so long as we follow a few basic principles. First, if you get a federal grant, you can’t use that grant money to proselytize to the people you help and you can’t discriminate against them - or against the people you hire - on the basis of their religion. Second, federal dollars that go directly to churches, temples, and mosques can only be used on secular programs.”

As a former professor of constitutional law, Senator Obama surely knows the Constitution says only two things about the federal government’s relation to religion: 1) it should not establish one religion over another 2) congress should pass no law that prohibits its free exercise.

But in the ubiquitous spirit of that phantom Constitutional wall of separation of church and state, Senator Obama promises his administration will discriminate against all faiths, as a way to respect the faith of all. In fact, his plan would whitewash faith-based groups of faith. Imagine what would happen to an after-school program run by an Orthodox Jewish temple that cannot give preference to hiring Orthodox Jewish teachers. The program would cease to exist. Or imagine an Evangelical ministry that helps prisoners reintegrate into society forced to “secularize” its programs in order to receive financial aid.

McCain or Obama, does it really matter?

Dennis Prager makes some excellent points why conservative Christians should vote for John McCain.

I am not sure Prager is right about McCain if the governor of California supports him he can’t be as good as he thinks. Even on the Supreme Court issue McCain is not likely to appoint someone to the Supreme Court that will vote with the conservatives. Even George Bush who is much more conservative than John McCain appointed Justice Kennedy who rather than define the meaning of the Constitution just votes the way he thinks things ought to be in this country. I think McCain will pick similar justices and the Supreme Court is going to be stacked with liberal social engineers no matter if it is Obama or McCain. Also keep in mind that when you have a liberal Senate your not going to get a true conservative confirmed by the Senate.

I think one important issue is who will McCain pick for Vice President? After all McCain has a moderately high risk of dying in office at his age and with his health history.

Having said that, any Christian who votes for Obama has redefined Christianity and they need to find out if they are what they say they are.

It seems to me that Americans are about to get what they deserve and what they asked for and there is no way around that reality outside of national repentance. It is also obvious that repentance is not going to happen in this nation before any major judgment.

Why I support John McCain

Conservatives who will not vote for McCain are well-intentioned utopians. They are comparing McCain to a consistently conservative candidate. The reality, however, is that McCain is not running against a consistently conservative candidate. He is running against a consistently left-wing candidate. And America cannot afford to have its first leftist president ever. It can afford liberal presidents – such as Bill Clinton, or Jimmy Carter (who governed as a liberal but became a leftist after leaving the White House), or John F. Kennedy, or Lyndon Johnson, or Harry Truman – i.e., all the Democrats who have been president since World War II. But the Democratic Party has moved well to the left of liberalism. And Barack Obama is at the left of that left-wing party.

Furthermore, given the strong possibility of a Democratic House, a Democratic Senate and a liberal Supreme Court for decades to come, given the number of Supreme Court appointments a Democratic president will be able to make, an Obama victory will move America more radically leftward than ever in its history.

That is why the argument that an Obama administration will be so destructive that Americans will reject the left and then elect a real conservative to undo the damage done in an Obama presidency is deeply flawed.

First of all, other than impeachment, there is no way to undo Supreme Court appointments, two or three of which a President Obama would likely make. And given how active most liberal judges are, it won’t matter much if the country has some conservative epiphany and then elects a Republican president and Congress. Because even if the Congress and the president will not pass liberal legislation, a liberal Supreme Court will. On almost any social issue that matters – the right to bear arms, late-term abortion, the definition of marriage, capital punishment and many others – a liberal Supreme Court will rule on these issues, and there will be nothing that a post-Obama Republican president, even with a Republican Congress, will be able to do about them.

Dire global warning on global warming

This is one great article about all the different aspects of global warming and it has the very latest information. This one article alone should make you question the sanity or honesty of many well known people promoting carbon legislation.

One demented preacher in the news today said that man caused global warming deniers are like child molesters. I want to reply to him that those who promote this carbon hoax on the world are murders! They are causing legislation and unnecessary burdens that will bring untold misery and death to many of the poor of the world. It will even cause famine and revolutions. But what do they care, many leading this facade think that poor people are useless eaters that the world would be better off without anyway.

If that is not enough carbon legislation will bring in world fascist where everything everyone does in the world will be controlled by carbon bean counters controlled by unelected elitist global governors.

The scientific consensus today is slowly beginning to shift away from the catastrophism of Gore, Suzuki and the United Nations IPCC’s Fourth Assessment Report, to suggest that the human contribution to global warming is far less than originally assumed and that a meteorological calamity is highly unlikely. (The IPCC, which certified and entrenched the so-called “scientific consensus,” is essentially a political body with an agenda of its own.) Other reports conclude that “solar variability” is the major component in climate change and will run its course regardless of human intervention. As David Douglass writes in the International Journal of Climatology of the Royal Meteorological Society (December 2007), in a peer-reviewed article co-authored with several prominent scientists, “The observed pattern of warming . . . does not show the characteristic fingerprint associated with greenhouse warming. The inescapable conclusion is that the human contribution is not significant and that observed increases in carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases make only a negligible contribution to climate warming.”

The most sophisticated climate models indicate an undeniable discrepancy between surface and tropospheric temperature changes, which points to the sun as the primary agent in the long-term, fluctuating temperature curve. John Coleman, founder of the Weather Channel, patiently explains that the sun, which contains 99.8% of the mass of the solar system, in its hydrogen-fueled atomic fusion process, “consumes more mass in a second than all the fossil fuel ever burned on Earth,” the terrestrial impact of which reduces the human input to global warming to a level of insignificance. Though Coleman doesn’t cite actual figures, the fact is that the sun pours in excess of a million billion megawatt-hours annually on the earth. But he does quote the highly respected Australian mathematician and former carbon consultant for the Australian government, David Evans, who argues that “carbon emissions don’t cause global warming.” According to Evans, the IPCC models are wrong and the mathematics show that the human signature in the atmosphere is missing (KUSI News online, November 8, 2007).
