This report on the terrorist threat in Britain is grave. They admit that are some 200 terrorist networks functioning in Britain that are aligned with al-Qaeda today and that there are now at least 30 active plots in the works. They also say that more domestic terrorists are being recruited on campuses and in prisons.

This of course is not limited to Britain. It is going on all over the West to some extent. Anyone who thinks these people can be appeased by pretending that they are not a threat needs serious help. Also, how can 200 terrorist networks exist in Britain if many more so called “moderate” Muslims are not aiding and abetting them, or at the very least turning a blind eye to their activities? Let’s face it, there is a civil war brewing between the Muslim immigrants and the natives of European countries and the sooner Europeans realize it the better off Europe will be.

I believe the government knows this and fears this and that is why they want natives to have endless tolerance and Muslims to be endlessly appeased. The unrealistic liberal idealists think they can appease their way out of the problem. They will find too late that al-Qaeda is not going to be appeased until either the whole world is under the control of al-Qaeda or all al-Qaeda are dead. How many attacks do they think the European natives will put up with before they take matters into their own hands and replace the “progressives” in government with right wing popularists who will lead them against the Islamic threat? And what danger should that bring to mind to Europe?

The main recruiting and terrorist training grounds are in Afghanistan and Pakistan but there are others  areas as well. We had better take the sanctuary States away from the terrorists before we see blood running in our own streets. Also consider this article, Bin Laden plans new attack on US.  The West needs to take off the kid gloves when dealing with domestic Islamic terrorists and the only way I know to do that is to force relocation of those who are not willing to assimilate into Western society. That means no special laws, judges, police, schools, forced marriages, dress or large ethic enclaves for Muslims. It also means that prisons become prisons and not recruitment ground social clubs. The alternative of not dealing with the problem is not Islam as some believe. Europe will never become Islamic. The people would rather become Fascist and they will become Fascist if people running western nations do not get a reality check and deal with the Islamic problem while it can still be dealt with. Report identifies UK terrorist enclaves – Telegraph

Secret enclaves of al-Qaeda extremists based in London, Birmingham and Luton are planning mass-casualty attacks in Britain, according to a leaked Government intelligence report.

The document, which was drawn up by the intelligence branch of the Ministry of Defence, MI5 and Special Branch, states that “some thousands” of extremists are active in the UK. They are predominantly UK-born and aged between 18 and 30, and many are believed to have been trained in overseas terrorist camps.

Under the heading “International Terrorism”, the report, which is marked “restricted” states: “For the foreseeable future the UK will continue to be a high-priority target for international terrorists aligned with al-Qaeda. It will face a threat from British nationals, including Muslim converts, and UK-based foreign terrorists, as well as terrorists planning attacks from abroad.”

The document also reveals that many of the terror networks operating in the UK include extremists who have been trained in terrorist camps overseas and have “some ability to construct improvised explosive devices, incorporating home-made explosives”.

It adds: “The availability of training/guidance and the necessary components to build improvised explosive devices (IED), allied with extremists’ known targeting preferences, mean that IED attacks against crowded places, intended to cause mass casualties, are the most likely form of attack in the UK.”

It is also made clear in the report that al-Qaeda cells are planning further attacks in UK with the so-called Government Security Zone (GSZ), an area which covers the Houses of Parliament, Whitehall, Buckingham and St James’ Palaces, as a possible target. The threat level in the GSZ is described in the report as “severe”.

Security officials are convinced that UK-based al-Qaeda cells will attempt to carry out another “spectacular” inside the UK with major transport termini, such as airports and train stations, being the most likely targets.

He added: “We know that subversion and support for al-Qaeda is taking place in campuses and prisons all over the UK. The fact that we have not been attacked for over two years should not be taken by anyone as evidence that the threat has gone away, in fact it is just the contrary.”

This article fully explains why Obama is a narcissist, why people follow them, and what that could mean to America. I suggest that you read the full article since there is much more explanation than what I quoted. I think there is more going on here with Barak Obama than just a narcissist personality disorder. When people are elevated to this status without cause there probably is some supernatural presence behind it. Even some of his spiritualist promoters like Oprah would agree. With the checks and balances of our government a narcissist under normal circumstances could be contained but that will not likely be the case under Obama since there probably will be total control of our government under one party. In addition, that party has other narcissists in top positions.

For sure if Obama wins the presidency the nation will now get to see the fool headed rule of the Far Left. The question is will Americans then see the Democrat party for what it really is and vote it out or will it just refuse to see and look for scapegoats to persecute, tax, regulate, and blame? I suggest many of these co-dependents will never admit they were wrong. The author suggest that almost all blacks will never give up on their black Messiah and that this will bring a white backlash led by white supremacists that will set back race relations back to that of the 60’s. It will be worse than that. If Obama turns out to be anywhere near as dangerous as this man suggests, it is not just blacks that will not give up their unfounded co-dependent hopes in Obama. Understanding Obama: The Making of a Fuehrer

It is amazing to see to what extent people are willing to go to eulogize another human being. It is this excess that constitutes the cult of personality. The difference between admiration and cult of personality is in the degree of adulation. Is it not fair to say that Obama has the same effect on his fans that Hitler, Khomeini or other famous demagogues such as Joseph Stalin or Mao Ze Dong had? I am not equating Obama to those mass murderers. Obama has not killed anyone (at least not yet). I am only comparing their effects on their audience, particularly prior to their rise to power. Obama’s speeches are unlike any political speech we have heard in American history. Never a politician in this land had such a quasi “religious” impact on so many people. The fact that Obama is a total incognito with zero accomplishment, makes this inexplicable infatuation alarming. Obama’s speeches are grandiose. They are other worldly. He may talk about the war in Iraq, taxes or social security. It does not matter how mundane is the subject, he makes them sound transcendental and his audience is moved to tears. His worshippers do not go to listen to his plans. He has yet to offer any that is workable and different. They go to bask in his glory, to get high. Obama presents himself as someone with a unique vision and grasp of the entire problems affecting, not just the nation but the world, a pretense that is incomensurate with his track record. When in a meeting with House Democrats waxing lyrical about his trip to Europe, he concluded, “this is the moment, as Nancy [Pelosi] noted, that the world is waiting for.” The world is waiting for Obama, according to Obama. In one of his rallies he reiterated this delusion of grandiosity and said, “We are the ones we’ve been waiting for.” This sentence is logically absurd. What actually Obama wanted to say, which he masked with fake modesty is “I am the one the world has been waiting for.” When you fall for someone to the extent that Obama’s followers have fallen for him, you surrender your reason and individuality to him willingly. When millions of people surrender their hearts and their minds to one person the result can be catastrophic. This is what happened in Germany with Hitler, in China with Mao, in the Soviet Union with Stalin, in Cuba with Castro, in Iran with Khomeini, and so on and so forth. Today, we think these men were monsters, but that was not what millions of their worshipers thought. Those people loved them. Dictators can’t dictate, unless peole are willing to be dictated. Cults of personality are often found in dictatorships but can be found in some democracies.

Who is Obama? Obama is not an ordinary man. He is not a genius. In fact he is quite ignorant on most important subjects. Barack Obama is a narcissist. Dr. Sam Vaknin, the author of the Malignant Self Love, also believes, “Barack Obama appears to be a narcissist.” Vaknin is a world authority on narcissism. He understands narcissism and describes the inner mind of a narcissist like no other person. When he talks about narcissism everyone listens. Vaknin says that Obama’s language, posture and demeanor, and the testimonies of his closest, dearest and nearest suggest that the Senator is either a narcissist or he may have narcissistic personality disorder (NPD). Vaknin explains: “Narcissistic leaders are nefarious and their effects pernicious. They are subtle, refined, socially-adept, manipulative, possessed of thespian skills, and convincing. Both types [cerebral and somatic] equally lack empathy and are ruthless and relentless or driven.” These were the very traits that distinguished Hitler and Khomeini. Many of these traits can be seen in Obama. As for his ruthlessness, perhaps his support of legislation to let babies die if they survive abortion, gives a glimps into his soul, that he may lacks empathy, does not value life, and if in the position of power can be ruthless. Narcissists need power to show their ruthlessness. Considering the fact that Obama neglected his own half brother, George Hussein Obama, who lives on one dollar per month in Kenya, we can’t vouch for Obama’s empathy or say he is a caring person.

Narcissists seek power. That is the whole purpose of their existence. Power for them is the elixir of life. Those who know about NPD can’t help but notice it in Obama’s posture, the tone of his voice, his demeanor and particularly his grandiose claims and unscripted adlibs. Narcissim has degrees. When it is extreme it shows in the posture and the way the narcissist walks and talks. Obama’s posture, exudes haughtiness. He is all puffery. Compare his posture to those of Hitler, Stalin and Saddam. According to Vaknin, Obama displays the following behaviors, which are among the hallmarks of pathological narcissism: – Subtly misrepresents facts and expediently and opportunistically shifts positions, views, opinions, and “ideals” (e.g., about campaign finance, re-districting). These flip-flops do not cause him overt distress and are ego-syntonic (he feels justified in acting this way). Alternatively, refuses to commit to a standpoint and, in the process, evidences a lack of empathy. – Ignores data that conflict with his fantasy world, or with his inflated and grandiose self-image. This has to do with magical thinking. Obama already sees himself as president because he is firmly convinced that his dreams, thoughts, and wishes affect reality. Additionally, he denies the gap between his fantasies and his modest or limited real-life achievements (for instance, in 12 years of academic career, he didn’t publish a single scholarly paper or book). – Feels that he is above the law. – Talks about himself in the 3rd person singluar or uses the regal “we” and craves to be the exclusive center of attention, even adulation – Has a messianic-cosmic vision of himself and his life and his “mission”. – Sets ever more complex rules in a convoluted world of grandiose fantasies with its own language (jargon) – Displays false modesty and unctuous “folksiness” but is unable to sustain these behaviors (the persona, or mask) for long. It slips and the true Obama is revealed: haughty, aloof, distant, and disdainful of simple folk and their lives. – Sublimates aggression and holds grudges. – Behaves as an eternal adolescent (e.g., his choice of language, youthful image he projects, demands indulgence and feels entitled to special treatment, even though his objective accomplishments do not justify it). Narcissists project a grandiose but false image of themselves. Jim Jones, the charismatic leader of People’s Temple, the man who led over 900 of his followers to cheerfully commit mass suicide and even murder their own children was also a narcissist. David Koresh, Charles Manson, Joseph Koni, Shoko Asahara, Stalin, Saddam, Mao, Kim Jong Ill and Adolph Hitler are a few examples of narcissists of our time. All these men had a tremendous influence over their fanciers. They created a personality cult around themselves and with their blazing speeches elevated their admirers’ souls, filled their hearts with enthusiasm and instilled in their minds a new zest for life. They gave them hope! They promised them the moon, but alas, invariably they brought them to their doom. When you are a victim of a cult of personality, you don’t know it until it it too late.

Narcissists are manipulative and extremely resourceful. They know how to the play their game, and how to get what they want, by using others. Obama is the least experienced senator among the Democrats. His political views are the most foolish of them all. He opposed the surge in Iraq saying it will make the situation worse and he was wrong. He thinks the solution to terrorism is to sit with terrorist states without precondition and negotiate with them. When Russia invaded Georgia, all this genius did was to urge both sides to “exert restraint”. Everything this man has said so far reveals his ignorance in economical, political and military matters. Despite that, this junior senator has managed to rally the seasoned senators of the Democratic Party around himself and, not withstanding his ineptitude, he has emerged as the leader de facto of his party and their presidential candidate. This is a remarkable feat. One must never underestimate the manipulative genius of pathological narcissists. They project such an imposing personality that it overwhelms those around them. Charmed by the charisma of the narcissist, people become like clay in his hands. They cheerfully do his bidding and delight to be at his service. The narcissist shapes the world around himself and reduces others in his own inverted image. He creates a cult of personality. His admirers become his co-dependents.

Could all this phenomenal support and unbounded adulation erupt into violence? All the abuses and killings in Nazi Germany were done by the Germans, ordinary people who loved Hitler and believed in the glorious tomorrow that he was promising them. Hitler was insane, but those who did his bidding were not. Despite being smart, they did not hesitate to fulfill their fuehrer’s wishes and commit the most heinous crimes. The same thing happened in Iran. Ordinary people, once under the spell of Khomeini, acted like beasts. This is what happens when sane people follow insane people. Could the same happen in America? Why not? Look how millions of people literally worship Obama. With some people I cannot even talk about Obama. They cannot tolerate any criticism of him. They get angry and, not only they want to end the conversation but threaten to end the friendship. I am familiar with this kind of religious devotion to a person. The reaction that I get from Obama worshippers is similar to that of Muslims when their prophet is criticized. They are even prone to insult you. See how they overlook Obama’s blatant lies and are willing to forgive his major sins such as racism. Note how the mainstream media bends the rules, twists the facts, exaggerates Obama’s little virtues, absolves his sins, and even lies to sell him to the public.

The narcissist’s anger and intolerance is projected on his servile followers who also become angry and intolerant of criticism of their leader. Remember the sick symbiosis between the narcissist and his codependents? The followers get their narcissistic supply by elevating the status of their leader. The greater he looks, the better they feel. They see their glory is his glory. Conversely, when the narcissist is criticized, his followers become offended. They take those criticisms personally and their instinct of self defense is triggered. They will become vigilantes and will silence their critics through intimidation, bullying, mocking, threats and violence (like calling those who disagree with Obama, racists). This paragraph is a later addition. About a week after I wrote the above, Missouri sheriffs and top prosecutors formed Obama “Truth Squads” and threatened libel charges against Obama critics. I am no prophet, but see how my predictions are coming to pass. This is only the begining. Narcissists are intolerant of criticism and create a reign of terror to silence their critics. Please someone invite this Obama’s “Truth Squad” to respond to his article and silence me.

Vaknin writes: “Narcissists use anything they can lay their hands on in the pursuit of narcissistic supply. If God, creed, church, faith, and institutionalized religion can provide them with narcissistic supply, they will become devout. They will abandon religion if it can’t.” Therefore, the question whether Obama is a Muslim or a Christian, whether he is pro Palestine, as he has been all his life or whether he is pro Israel, whether he is a black supremacist or an agent of racial harmony, are moot. Obama is anything you want him to be and situation dictates. He takes the side that is more expedient to his cause. To communists he is a comrade, to Islamists he is their man, to Palestinian fighters he is their hope and to the Jews he is a staunch Zionist. The narcissist’s creed is himself. Everything else is negotiable. Obama will do and say anything as long as it suits him. He will embrace any cause, will align himself with anyone, and will shift his position wherever the wind blows. Narcissists are chameleons.

Obama’s election as the first black president of the Harvard Law Review led to a contract and advance to write a book about race relations. The University of Chicago Law School provided him with a fellowship and an office to work on his book. The book took him a lot longer than expected and at the end it devolved into…, guess what? His own autobiography! Instead of writing a scholarly paper focusing on race relations, for which, he had been paid, Obama could not resist writing about his most sublime self. He entitled the book Dreams from My Father . Not surprisingly, Adolph Hitler also wrote his own autobiography when he was still nobody. So did Stalin. For a narcissist no subject is as important as his own self. Why would he waste his precious time and genius writing about insignificant things when he can write about such an august being as himself?

Narcissists are often callous and even ruthless. As the norm, they lack conscience. This is evident from Obama’s lack of interest in his own brother who lives on only one dollar per month. A man who lives in luxury, who takes a private jet to vacation in Hawaii, and who has raised nearly half a billion dollars for his campaign (something unprecedented in history) has no interest in the plight of his own brother. Why? Because, his brother cannot be used for his ascent to power. A narcissist cares for no one but himself.

Narcissists can be very generous, but never without an ulterior motive. They are generous when their display of generosity is noticed and elevates them in the eyes of others. Obama donated $20,000 to his racist and anti-Semitic church, but neglected his brother who could get some education and live a lot better if only he had one dollar per day. Narcissism is all about image. Vaknin says, “The narcissist is shallow, a pond pretending to be an ocean. He likes to think of himself as a Renaissance man, a Jack of all trades. The narcissist never admits to ignorance in any field – yet, typically, he is ignorant of them all. It is surprisingly easy to penetrate the gloss and the veneer of the narcissist’s self-proclaimed omniscience.” Obama’s gaffes in history and world affairs are proof of that. This man does not even know the number of states in the USA, or that Canada does not have a president. That is why Vaknin says a narcissist is a shallow pond that pretends to be an ocean. Obama’s ignorance about what should be common knowledge is mind boggling.

Hitler was smart, and so is Obama. Hitler would not have become the monster he became had he not risen to power and had he not received so much narcissistic fodder to feed on. One man who saw Khomeini prior to rising to power recalled he would gently push flies out of his window, but would not kill them. The same man massacred tens of thousands of Iranians. It is power that brings madness out of the narcissist. America is at a crucial moment in its history. I cannot think of any disaster greater than putting a pathological narcissist in control of the world’s most powerful military machine. Narcissists are empty in substance but full on promises. Obama has not proposed a single concrete workable plan, but he has raised the hopes and expectations of millions of people with his promises. The glorious tomorrow that he offers is no more real than the Styrofoam Greek columns that adorned his image during his acceptance speech.

Today the Democrats have placed all their hopes in Obama. But this man could put an end to their party. The great majority of blacks have also decided to vote for Obama. Only a fool does not know that their support for him is racially driven. Brendan Farrington, reported, evidence indicates that some black Republicans are switching parties to vote for Obama. He wrote, “Florida has 81,512 more black Democrats compared to a loss of 784 black Republicans; Louisiana has 34,325 more black Democrats, while the number of black Republicans dropped by 907; North Carolina has 92,356 more black Democrats and 2,850 fewer black Republicans. The only three states that track voting registration by party and race show black Republican registration dropping slightly since the beginning of the year.” Let us call a spade a spade. This is racism, pure and simple. The truth is that while everyone carries a misconceived collective guilt towards the blacks for wrongs done centuries ago by a bygone people to a bygone people, the blacks carry a collective rancor, enmity or vendetta towards non-blacks and to this day want to “stand up” to the whiteman. They seem to be stuck in 19th century. The downside of this is that if Obama turns out to be the disaster I predict, he will cause widespread resentment among the whites. The blacks are unlikely to give up their support of their man. Cultic mentality is pernicious and unrelenting. They will dig their heads deeper in the sand and blame Obama’s detractors of racism. This will cause a backlash among the whites. The white supremacists will take advantage of the discontent and they will receive widespread support. I predict that in less than four years, racial tensions will increase to levels never seen since the turbulent 1960s. Obama will set the clock back decades. America is the bastion of freedom. The peace of the world depends on the strength of America, and its weakness translates into the triumph of terrorism and victory of rogue nations. It is no wonder that Ahmadinejad, Hugo Chavez, the Castrists, the Hezbollah, the Hamas, the lawyers of the Guantanamo terrorists and virtually all sworn enemies of America are so thrilled by the prospect of their man in the White House. More and more countries have laws saying you must remember and describe this or that historical event in a certain way, sometimes on pain of criminal prosecution if you give the wrong answer. What the wrong answer is depends on where you are. In Switzerland, you get prosecuted for saying that the terrible thing that happened to the Armenians in the last years of the Ottoman empire was not a genocide. In Turkey, you get prosecuted for saying it was. What is state-ordained truth in the Alps is state-ordained falsehood in Anatolia.

Let me be clear. I believe it is very important that nations, states, peoples and other groups (not to mention individuals) should face up, solemnly and publicly, to the bad things done by them or in their name. The West German leader Willy Brandt falling silently to his knees in Warsaw before a monument to the victims and heroes of the Warsaw Ghetto is, for me, one of the noblest images of postwar European history. For people to face up to these things, they have to know about them in the first place. So these subjects must be taught in schools as well as publicly commemorated.

After the coming economic financial collapse, a state of world-wide martial law will be declared. Considering the current events which are in direct alignment with documented plans for totalitarian one-world government, (white paper plans published by the Tri-Lateral Commission, Council on Foreign Relations, and Club of Rome), martial law will be imposed without official dissent upon the various countries of the world. Martial law is military rule imposed upon civilian populations in a time of war or during a (sic) “State of Emergency”. The following elements can be expected to occur once the t.v. news anchors tell people not to panic, but that a State of Emergency has been declared due to the crash, and a (sic) temporary state of martial law has been declared, which will be rescinded once the State of Emergency has passed.

What the news people won’t tell you is that given the history of martial law, the suspension of such a draconian state is far more difficult to achieve than its original imposition. Esteemed reader, ask yourself the question, why dictator or group of dictators ever voluntarily relinquished their dictatorial powers? I’m searching really hard through the history files of the world to find out the handful of amazing people who did so. So far, all I can find is George Washington who declined being elected “King”.

The article below is a very thought provoking article. No rational nation should willfully take this risk and put itself in this position. Be it Hitler, Mao or Chavez the socialists often first get in power through a popular election. After that they change the nation to conform to their own image. Do you really think Obama will not attempt to do that? If so you are naive. They were the ones who were survival-of-the-fittest professionals, ready to adapt to any circumstance and say whatever had to be said in order to win the game. They were the ones who built careers on the backs of people of more substance but less savvy, people who were either forced or were willing to lie face-down and be walked on. They were the ones whose artful dishonesty came with eloquence and a smile, concealing designs that were, in the end, hardly conceivable as virtuous. Often — very often — they were completely unqualified to lead. Always they found majorities who loved them.

The reaction to Obama by the people of America is disturbing, to say the least. I have not seen anything quite like it in America. Ronald Reagan, for example, was also very popular, but his name evoked enthusiasm and, at his death, reverence. But never the sort of idolatry inspired by Obama. Even Obama’s detractors do not seem to loathe him, at least not in the way that they have loathed the Clintons or Gore or Kerry. I have heard more than one Republican say, “Well, if I have to put up with him for four or more years, at least he’s tolerable.” Obama’s mass appeal is uncommon and frightening.

So, I am now imagining a very real scenario — similar to what I have seen on a smaller scale in the corporate world — about to be played out on a national, and possibly global, level. Our country seems to be ready to put into the seat of power a man — good-looking, charismatic, silver-tongued, to be sure — who has almost no experience, has never served in an executive capacity, has barely held a real job, and has no record of success other than his remarkable campaign.

This is a man who in less than two years has arisen as a political messiah. He has mesmerized an emergent block of college-age voters (whose chief sources of information, by the way, are comedians). He has inspired “Obama youth” corps and Maoist-style choirs of praise. He has been dubbed “the One” by his Matrix-saturated worshippers. He has captured the hearts and minds of half of America, nearly all of the media, and most of the world itself.

If Obama is just another bumbling Democrat, who, armed with a lot of really bad policies, simply wants to do America proud, well, then, if elected, he will muddle through the next four to eight years trying to implement change, will be hindered by the American political system, will enervate liberals and thus energize conservatives, and, eventually, the tide will turn. Like the aftermath of a very disagreeable season, we will have weathered the storm, will survey the damage, and will send in the rescue teams to rebuild.

But then again: What if Obama doesn’t have America’s best interest at heart? What if his candidacy has to do with the willful and radical recreation of the country, one that embraces Marxist ideals, i.e., socialism in some form or another? What if the “change we can believe in” — the central theme of his campaign — is directed subversion of the Republic in favor of the sort of Utopian, collectivist state that radicals like Bill Ayers have been dreaming of since the Sixties?

Who needs revolution when one can use evolution? If Congress turns decidedly left, Obama will have a good chance to help the Supreme Court do the same. At that point, the Left’s idea of a “living” Constitution, which allows interpretation to supplant the process of amendment, will be used to make us all believers.

California approves nurse-assisted suicide

SACRAMENTO – California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger has officially approved an assisted suicide measure allowing nurses to sedate, dehydrate and starve depressed or confused individuals they consider to be “terminally ill.”

“AB 2747 pushes suicide through the back door at the hands of non-physicians taking advantage of depressed patients,” he said in a statement. “AB 2747 cheapens the value of human life by endorsing suicide as an option.”

The measure allows physician assistants and nurses to decide whether a person is “terminally ill” and deprive them of basic life-sustaining necessities such as food and water.

“Depressed patients who succumb to this pressure will be drugged unconscious and die from dehydration, usually within five to 10 days,” Thomasson said. “Nothing in the bill prohibits this horror.”

Thomasson said Berg “deceptively changed” the bill to appear that “voluntarily stopping of eating and drinking” and “palliative sedation” no longer were on a list of “symptom management” options.

“The bill does not otherwise attempt to expressly define terminal illness that each of these health care professionals would have to diagnose to trigger the offer of counseling end of life option,” Tran said. “It is not clear why nurse practitioners and physician assistants could make such a significant diagnosis. It is further not clear from the bill how making such significant diagnoses on a case-by-case basis can be done by such practitioners and assistants based on so-called ’standardized procedures and protocols’ not further defined by the bill. The potential effect of AB 2747 is extremely broad and could cause irrevocable harm.”

He said the legislation was sponsored by a group called Compassion and Choices, which formerly was known as the Hemlock Society and has advocated for physician-assisted suicide legislation in the past. A founder of the group has praised Dr. Jack Kevorkian for helping more than 100 people die.

Dozens of individuals and groups representing cancer patients, minority rights groups, members of religious communities and hospitals spoke before the Senate Health Committee in opposition to the idea. Also, numerous hospitals and other organizations opposed the measure, includeing California Disability Alliance, California Family Council, California Nurses for Ethical Standards, Mercy San Juan Medical Center, Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital and St. Mary’s Medical Center in San Francisco.

I find this method of indoctrinating school children to normal everyday living being harmful to the earth with the “climate crime” connotation as distasteful and wrong headed. I have no problems with energy conservation, in fact I encourage it. But combining such advice with a “climate cop” idea is the wrong way to get the message across. Can you imagine what sort of reaction the neighbors will have to the kids hanging this door hanger on their front door? Will the result of this now be hiding your electric dryer behind false walls so the kids and neighbors don’t see it?

The doomsday scenarios have one big thing in common — they’re all global. They will not yield to national solutions, since nations are in competition with one another, not in cooperation, save for temporary alliances. Presidential politicians love their country. Their horizon of concern is the next election.

But world humanity is at terrible risk. Our civilization could disappear by accident or design in a nuclear or biological holocaust. Must we simply accept global anarchy and hope for the unlikely best?

No. I have the answer. We need a wise and benevolent absolute despot who rules over the nations in order to tame catastrophic threats and create citizens, not of nations, but of the world.

But I have no idea how to manage the transition. And I am all too aware of Lord Acton’s warning that absolute power corrupts absolutely. Moreover, I’m a Democrat and a patriot. I’m part of the problem, not part of the solution.

Frankly T. Boone Pickens not only stands to make a lot of money on government subsidies for windmills he is flat out wrong on many counts. Oil will not hit $300 a barrel it is more likely to be $50 a barrel in inflation adjusted dollars for centuries to come if congress just allows oil drilling where we know there is oil. All we need is for liberal government and the environmental fascists to get out of the way and stop blocking the development of our oil and coal resources. If oil drilling was treated as the national emergency that it is we will solve the problem within a few years. We have the equivalent of trillions of barrels of oil in the US in oil shale, oil sands and coal. We have enough oil for many centuries, that will take care our our long term problem. We also have enough oil offshore that can be brought on line in a one to five years that will take care much of our short term problem.

It will not take ten years like the democrats claim unless government and the environmental fascists make it take ten years with their bureaucracy and lawsuits. We need to treat this like the homeland security issue it is and cut the red tape.

Pickens thinks we can free up natural gas with windmills and use the gas to power vehicles but even the gas people disagree with that. If we really wanted to free up natural gas we already have a much cheaper way of doing that. We would just have to build many more coal plants but God forbid that we dump any more helpful CO2 into the atmosphere and help the plants grow.

As I have said before, windmills have to be backed up by conventional power sources because when the wind is not blowing or it us blowing too hard as it often does in the Midwest windmills do not work. Solar does not work at night and there never will be any way to store power for periods of shortfall. So unless everyone stops using electricity when the wind stops blowing or is blowing too hard or after the sun sets this is not the answer.

Besides that, it will be an environmental disaster. Do these people have any clue what a eye sore blight this will be. 150 foot steel windmills will stretch from horizon to horizon along with their power distribution system that will make current electric lines look pleasing. It will decimate the bird populations. Do you think that giant solar farms will not have an environmental impact? What impact will they have on the animals that occupy that habitat? I will bet you will not take your family to have a picnic there. If you don’t believe me about windmills come to Western New York when they have put up these windmills farms and have ruined once very scenic ridge tops. People cannot sell their property because no one want to live near the windmills. Some people cannot tolerate the low noise that the windmills make day and night. The windmills will decimate the bird populations and they cannot produce electricity at anywhere near current rates. The costs of windmills are paid by taxpayers, robbing Peter to pay Paul, or higher electric rates.

Also notice that T. Boone Pickens proposes that they take property away by using eminent domain claims anywhere where they want to build their alternative energy boondoggles. Well folks, that is fascism and I and many others do not care if the courts say government can do that. This is contrary to the Constitution of the U.S. and people in the Midwest are not going to put up with it. Try to enforce your eminent domain land seizures in some part of the Midwest and you had better bring your own private army (I doubt if our national Army will support you). If You want a revolution in this nation Pickens is proposing a good way to polarize people to bring that about.

Now I want to know why congress is listening to a 80 year old multimillionaire who has vested interests in windmills? Obviously many people have many different ideas about how to solve this problem but they are not appearing before congress, so why only listen to this wacky old man who stands to make a lot of money on windmills? Could it be that he is telling Democrats what they already want to hear?

Pickens has been touring the country pushing a plan under which domestic natural gas supplies would be used to power cars instead of electrical power plants. The federal government and private investors would build a massive wind farm system in the middle of the country from Mexico to Canada to provide electricity.

Pickens, who heads the hedge fund BP Capital, stands to benefit from such a program. He’s building a 4,000 megawatt, $10 billion wind farm in northern Texas that should start generating power in 2011.

industry group the American Wind Energy Association (AWEA) has said the Pickens plan could work if the government renews the production tax credit for renewable energy, preferably for longer than a year or two.

“I think we’re talking eminent domain,” Pickens told reporters after the hearing, referring to the practice in which the government sometimes seizes private property with monetary compensation. He said bringing the power to the coasts would take an effort similar to former president Dwight Eisenhower’s building of the national highway system during the Cold War.

Backlash: 2 million angry Democrats reject Obama?

More than two million angry Democrats are rejecting Sen. Barack Obama as the likely Democratic nominee for the presidency this year, according to a new protest organization.

“I hate to use this word but it’s fascist, and that’s the approach they’re taking to silence any Hillary Clinton supporters,” Will Bower, co-founder of PUMA/Just Say No Deal, an exploding coalition of voters who say they have raised $10 million in just days to pay down Clinton’s campaign debt.

“Barack Obama wants to give his acceptance speech in a stadium because he intends to minimize any pro-Hillary supporter dissent. It’s not because he wants to include more people. He knows that if they pull any shenanigans at convention, the Hillary delegates will walk out, and they don’t want that to be seen or heard. They’re bringing as many Obama supporters as they can to fill that stadium. It’s fascism,” he said.

Now more than two million, based on donation and other records, are determined to protest the nominating process and push for an open convention in Denver this August.

“The seeds of discontent for the birth of the PUMA/Just Say No Deal movement were planted during Barack’s poor performances at the debates, the media assault on Clinton after Iowa, Obama’s arrogance on the campaign trail, and the DNC’s selective application of its own rules,” Bower explained.

Bower said Hillary supporters were so incensed with the DNC’s action they wrote about it at their blogsites. The issue went viral, spreading rapidly across the Internet. One irate blogger came up with the acronym PUMA after blogging “Party Unity, My A**.” The abbreviation eventually evolved into the puma cat logo used at multiple sites.

It took only days for PUMA and dozens of other grassroots organizations and political activists to discover one another and convene a conference call. They agreed to band together and call the movement Just Say No Deal.

The carbon taxation has started in some nations already and in some cities in the U.S. In Britain they all will soon have carbon rationing cards if the British people are stupid enough to let the politicians get away with it.

The tax and grab your freedoms fascists are planning this for everyone worldwide to fund their socialist fascist global government. They will start with a modest tax and then keep turning the screws. Some well informed conservatives in the United States are sounding the alarm about plans to tax Americans for carbon emissions purported to cause what’s been dubbed, “Global Warming.” Adding to their fears of oppressive global climate taxation is a recent event in Canada. Read GPF on global taxes.

On July 1, citizens of Canada’s British Columbia began paying a so-called carbon tax for reducing greenhouse gas emissions. The provincial government is levying the tax on most fossil fuels, including gasoline and home heating fuel. British Columbia hopes the new policy will cause people to drive less and conserve more energy, thus leading to a significant cut in greenhouse gas emissions that allegedly contribute to climate change.

In addition, according to Mike Baker, a political strategist who has studied the new Canadian tax law, citizens will be expected to pay taxes for wood stove and fireplace emissions, farm equipment, trucks, automobiles and anything else that utilizes fossil fuel. He predicts there will come a time in the not to distant future when even water and clean air consumption by individuals will be taxed.

“New ‘Gobal Warming’ cops will be hired to drive around the county looking for smoke coming out of peoples chimneys and write hefty tickets to those that refuse to comply. A goldmine of new found money coming to city and county cofers,” added Baker.

“If replicated in the United States — as Al Gore and others want — this will be one of the biggest power grabs in US history.

“It’s all about who will control the earth resources. It’s big government laying claim to the waters, oceans, lakes, forests, birds, animals, earth’s land surface, the air we breathe, the food we eat and the sky and space, as well as you and me!” said Joan Veon, CEO of the Women’s International Media Group and a recognized expert in politically-motivated scientific research. British government is already dictating to their citizens to stop wasting food.

“Little by little, the world is being re-organized using capitalism as the global engine to also change the structure of government from government to public-private partnership which is a co-management of government by business,” she said in a telephone interview with NewsWithViews.com.

Al Gore’s “Inconvenient Truth” is in fact a convenient lie that fails all analysis according to history and experience. Going Green = $4 Per Gallon – CWN

Going green (its real name is sustainable development) has led to Orwellian regulations resulting in the destruction of American businesses and the jobs that go with them, including manufacturing and industry; the locking away of American natural resources like oil, timber and minerals, forcing expensive imports; the near abolishment of private property, the bedrock of any economy’s source of wealth; and massive invasion of the farming industry to assure it is “sustainable,” including the mandated use of corn for the making of ethanol, leading to food shortages and higher prices.

Above all, the “go green” mindset has resulted in a refusal by political leaders and Congress to even consider anything but renewable fuels as a legitimate source of energy. Last year’s Energy bill, supposed to be the guideline for energy policy for coming years, literally made no mention of any kind of energy but alternative fuels like wind power, solar and ethanol. And the American people, buried under an avalanche of environmentally-correct propaganda, have blindly accepted the go green mantra, missing its connection to their economic woes.

At a time when the nation is facing an economic meltdown because of rising gas prices, oil use is ignored in the most important energy policy in the nation. Astonishing. As prices continue to rise, Washington’s response is “there’s nothing we can do. “President Bush says, “I wish I had a magic wand.” John McCain says “prices will continue to rise.” Barack Obama says “tax the oil companies,” as Congress begins a witch hunt on them, pledging the get to the bottom of their “excess profits.” Senator Barbara Boxer says “now is the best time to raise energy prices.” The Democrats want to “sue” OPEC.”

In all of this rhetoric, notice how NO action that includes the drilling of oil is considered. It’s taboo. Off the table. Suffer America, because the wisdom of the day is that oil is out. Alternatives are in. Go green! This, of course, completely ignores the fact that the U.S. uses oil for 85% of its energy needs.

Such policy is driven by the Sustainable Development lobby. Led by massively wealthy and powerful special interests like the Sierra Club, Audubon Society, the National Resources Defense Council and Earthjustice, to name a very few. With their dollars and lobbyists, they are forcing Congress to implement the policies outlined in the UN’s Agenda 21 soft law document. It pretends to be environmental policy, but is really a complete transformation of our society and economy to a top down control, leading toward global governance. The environment is just the excuse to convince unaware Americans to give up their liberties “to save the earth.”

Instead of just fearing the carbon police why don’t Brits hike their skirts and do something about the control freaks that they have allowed to run every aspect of their lives?
