North Korea continues to make fools out of the U.S. State Department.

No Gravatar

I have more than once said that this would happen. North Korea has been getting freebies from America for 15 years to stop their nuclear development and has done nothing but make nukes. You cannot deal with madmen. If you read this article you will see even after the 11 disablement measures are actually taken (they have been halted) it would only take North Korea only about a year to start the facilities up again (what a great deal!). Not to even mention the secret uranium project that North Korea has that is still making nuclear material that no one is talking about or the nuclear bombs it already has made for export. So the North Koreans found ways to backed out of all the deals and have make fools out of both the Clinton Administration and the Bush Administration. North Korea now hopes to take on what they know will even be a more foolish Obama Administration.

The U.S. State Department continues to be run by liberals and is in denial all over the world. They are just as loony with Iran. There is an old saying. Fool me once and shame on you, fool me twice and shame on me, fool me three times and I should get the Olympic gold metal for foolishness. Does anyone in our government know that North Korea has EMP capabilities? Does anyone care? And Rice thinks Russia will take anything we say on George or elsewhere seriously?

Maybe the world should reward the North Koreans with the Olympics and just pretend that they are such a wonderful free nation like they did with Communist China. I notice the North Koreans waited to after the Olympics to do this. Does anyone really think that was not coordinated with China? Sure, and China’s 14 year old woman gymnasts were 16 years old. You know one of these days this whole foolish appeasement thing is going to unravel worldwide and we are going to be in a world of hurt.

North Korea says it halts nuclear reactor disablement | International | Jerusalem Post

The North’s announcement marks the emergence of the biggest hurdle yet to the communist nation’s denuclearization process under a landmark deal last year and is expected to escalate tension in the nuclear talks involving China, Japan, the two Koreas, the US and Russia.

Pyongyang’s Foreign Ministry said it suspended the disablement work at the reactor and other facilities at its Yongbyon nuclear complex as of August 14 because the US did not keep its promise to delist Pyongyang as a terror sponsor under last year’s deal.

The ministry also said the country will “consider soon a step to restore” the Yongbyon nuclear facilities, but did not elaborate.

Yang Moo-jin, a professor at Seoul’s University of North Korean Studies, called Tuesday’s statement “very serious” and said that it could mean Pyongyang may have decided not to deal with the administration of US President George W. Bush.

South Korean and US officials have said eight of the 11 disablement measures have been finished and that when the entire disablement is completed, it would take at least a year for the North to restart the facilities.

North Korea’s phony peace at any cost to the U.S.

No Gravatar

Why Bush would deal with a mad man is a mystery only known to himself and the mad people running our State Department. I will want to hear the story one day but I fear it might be an advanced case of what Ronald Regan got or some kind of coup d’état. Otherwise, it is very difficult to understand the radical change in Bush in the last few years. Maybe He wants to show some peace gesture to the world before Israel bombs Iran forcing the U.S. to join them. Or perhaps Bush needed this to get China and Russia to sign off on a strike on Iran. Who knows?

The U.S. is being played the fool by North Korea. We get to pay for the dismantling of their aging reactor and to supply them with critical food and energy and they get to keep the nuclear material and their missiles to deliver nukes. They also get to possibly try again to get nuclear material to other terrorists states like Syria and Iran.

Nothing is said about North Korea’s secret Uranium enrichment program that may continue to produce fissionable material. Now we are going to lift all sanctions and embargoes like they actually did something good and just turn a blind eye to the fact they just tried to give Syria what it takes to make a nuke. If that does not make North Korea a terrorist state I do not know what does. Thanks to Israel that plan was stopped but who knows what is going on in the slimy little demented mind of Kim Jong III?.

FrontPage Magazine

It now turns out that the options the U.S. had been contemplating were designed not to punish North Korean duplicity but to encourage it. So it is that, despite its recent collaboration with Hezbollah-sponsor Syria – to say nothing of its intent, in the run-up the Iraq war, to sell $10 million worth of medium-range missiles to Saddam Hussein for use against coalition troops – North Korea no longer will be designated a terrorist state. Never mind that the country has yet to come clean about its nuclear program. In the eyes of the Bush administration, North Korea has been given a clean slate.

And legitimacy. Notwithstanding its defiance of every nuclear treaty it has ever signed – a habit of violation that continues in its latest declaration, which reportedly discusses only plutonium processing activities and not the uranium enrichment and nuclear capabilities that were supposed to have been declared – North Korea is being treated as a credible partner in negotiations instead of the extortionist state that it clearly is. Fool the Bush administration once, the lesson appears to be, and you wind up in the “axis-of-evil.” Fool it repeatedly, and all is forgiven.

As always with North Korea, there are token concessions. To demonstrate its sincerity, Pyongyang has invited foreign TV crews to broadcast its demolition of the cooling tower at the notorious Yongbyon nuclear plant. It promises to be quite the affair, though one would have to be really taken in by spectacle to forget that the plant was already supposed to be completely disabled in the 1990s and, more recently, by the end of 2007. Nor will the made-for-the-cameras moment prove that North Korea has nothing to hide. The facility at Yongbyon is believed to have been shuttered last year, having already produced enough weapons-grade plutonium to build, by some estimates, at least nine nuclear bombs. To see the destruction of this Potemkin reactor as a sign of genuine progress is to yield to illusion.

Why Obama will be tested by the Islamics if elected?

No Gravatar

It is weak presidents that lead to miscalculations and war. Zumwalt did not even mention that JFK also got us into the war with Vietnam. With the facts of this article in mind if Obama gets elected we can expect a test of Obama’s metal by Islamic radicals in the first year of Obama’s Presidency. We really should not be putting people in the White House in troubled times that are idealistic unrealistic dummies. Inexperience will not be Obama’s only problem it is his unrealistic worldview.

Islamic Extremism for Dummies - HUMAN EVENTS

Obama’s JFK analogy conveniently omits two important points: it was Kennedy’s perceived weakness that precipitated the Cuban Missile Crisis; it was not his negotiation talents that extracted him from it.

It was the absence of Kennedy’s backbone in the Bay of Pigs invasion that then led to the Cuban Missiles Crisis the following year. Emboldened by Kennedy’s earlier misadventure, the Soviets secretly positioned missiles in Cuba — drastically reducing US response time in the event of a missile launch by Moscow. This led to a test of wills between Moscow and Washington that brought the two superpowers to the brink of war.

Inexperience and naivete in the White House would come back to haunt the US again seventeen years after the Bay of Pigs disaster. An American public anxious for change voted into office a US president whose later actions paved the way for Iran’s Ahmadinejad.

As civil unrest hit Iran in 1979, Jimmy Carter pressured Tehran’s pro-US Shah to abandon his country to a man Carter believed to be Islam’s Mahatma Gandhi — the Ayotollah Ruhollah Khomeini. This “Gandhi” turned out to be more like Attila the Hun. Khomeini embarked upon a purge grander than the reign of terror introduced by the French Revolution’s Robespierre almost two centuries earlier. Carter’s naivete provided Islamic extremism with a national flag and a breeding ground for exporting Islamofascism abroad and into the 21st century. America’s reward for Carter’s assistance was the seizure of the US embassy and hostages there, followed by Tehran’s designation of the US as the “Great Satan.”

We have been in a perpetual and undeclared war with Iran ever since.

Of course, the Iranians already knew, from Obama’s earlier actions, he would be a weak-kneed leader. They gained this insight last year when Obama refused to vote for the Kyl-Lieberman amendment, which sought to label the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps — the organization of holy Islamic warriors that has left its violent footprint throughout the region — on the grounds it constituted “saber-rattling.” Color as “weak” — from Iran’s viewpoint, and ours — any US leader who refuses to officially label a terrorist group as “terrorists.”

Ignoring the fact the only times Iranian extremists reigned in their adventurism was in the face of US resolve, Obama believes he, as president, is capable of talking rationally with an Iranian leadership incapable of doing so. It is inexperience that causes one to boast he can do what three-decades of domination by theocratic extremism in Iran’s leadership and the failure of the international community in curtailing Tehran’s nuclear program tells us cannot be done

Solution to the immediate oil crises

No Gravatar

I have been hearing that there is no reason to pump more oil for some time now. If plenty of oil is being pumped but everyone is cutting back because of the price where is the oil? You can only store so much oil and then you would have to stop pumping but no one is doing that so obviously greed is the reason that OPEC does not want to increase production. They are lying through their teeth.

I would be past asking OPEC and Saudi Arabia to pump more oil. Its time the world told them they will pump more oil until the price gets down to around $50 a barrel or OPEC is going to be internationally outlawed as the criminal cartel it is.

OPEC is bring the world to an economic crises point and if the big powers don’t do something rather quickly it is going to be too late.

I have a suggestion. Everyone should open up their national oil reserves right now and at the same time the U.S. should take care of the Iranian nuclear and military threat. After this threat is out of the way there will be no future oil speculation because of the Iranian threat. Then we should go all out to help Iraq gear up their oil producing capability and also tell Saudi Arabia that they will fill the gap or they risk dire consequences.

OPEC sees no need to pump more after price surge | Reuters

DUBAI (Reuters) - OPEC members saw no need on Sunday to pump more oil in response to last week’s double-digit surge in oil prices to over $139 a barrel that top exporter Saudi Arabia described as unjustified.

Top oil exporter Saudi Arabia is the only OPEC member with capacity to boost output quickly and significantly.

But Saudi Oil Minister Ali al-Naimi and his Pakistani counterpart met on Sunday and agreed that the price rise was unjustified and unrelated to market fundamentals, the official Saudi Press Agency reported.

“The increase of the oil prices is becoming a real threat to the worldwide economy,” Germany’s Economy Minister Michael Glos told Reuters.

$150 OIL?

OPEC blames factors beyond its control, including speculation and international political tension, for the price rises. Those factors could take prices even higher soon, said Iran’s OPEC representative Muhammad Ali Khatibi.

“I forecast that by the end of summer the price of oil will reach $150 a barrel,” Mohammad Ali Khatibi was quoted as saying by Iran’s state broadcaster.

Ann Coulter in her own humorous way points out that if your going to talk to the animals you better make sure they are caged.

If we could talk to the animals

You always know you’ve struck gold when liberals react with hysteria and rage to something you’ve said. So I knew President Bush’s speech at the Knesset last week was a barnburner even before I read it.

Bush said:

“Some seem to believe that we should negotiate with the terrorists and radicals, as if some ingenious argument will persuade them they have been wrong all along. We have heard this foolish delusion before. As Nazi tanks crossed into Poland in 1939, an American senator declared: ‘Lord, if I could only have talked to Hitler, all this might have been avoided.’ We have an obligation to call this what it is – the false comfort of appeasement, which has been repeatedly discredited by history.”

The way liberals squealed, you’d think someone had mentioned Obama’s ears. Summoning all their womanly anger, today’s Neville Chamberlains denounced Bush, saying this was an unjustified attack on Obambi and, furthermore, that it’s absurd to compare B. Hussein Obama’s willingness to “talk” to Ahmadinejad to Neville Chamberlain’s capitulation to Hitler.

Liberals think the way to deal with dangerous tyrants is to send in a sensitive president who will make Ahmadinejad fall in love with him. They imagine Obama becoming like Barbra Streisand’s psychotherapist, like in “The Prince of Tides.”

Liberals refuse to learn from history because they put their hands over their ears and tell themselves over and over again: “Hitler was different.”

Obama says tiny Iran is no danger to the U.S.?

No Gravatar
It is hard to believe that someone this ignorant could be a serious contender for being the President of the U.S.

Obama says that tiny Iran is no treat to the U.S.? What Senator! Did you sleep through your EMP briefing or did you just not show up? One nuke at the right altitude and location could reduce this nation to third world status. Iran certainly will have that capability in a few years. In addition, Iran is not a tiny nation. When was the last time Senator Obama looked at a world map or read any demographics. Can the Senator even locate Iran on a map? Iran unchecked has the population and the power to take over much of the Middle East. If you think we have oil problems now what would it be like if Iran’s version of Islamofascism controlled the entire region?

There is also the fact about the existence of Israel or perhaps Israel does not matter to the Senator, like many have said? So is Obama really saying that Iran is not a threat to Israel or is he saying that he would not defend our ally if she was attacked by Iran? The answer is, he would not be there to defend Israel.

Further, Venezuela and Cuba are threats to other nations in Central and South America even to Mexico and thus they are a threat to us. Does Obama think that it is fine if Mexico goes Communist like Venezuela and Cuba and becomes anti-American. What kind of foreign policy is this loon proposing?

Incredible! The Senator gets my Demented Delusional or Dumb Club of the week award for his Leftist Harvard “brilliance” and anyone who votes for him should share in it.

Obama pooh-poohs danger from ‘tiny’ Iran

Leading Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama pooh-poohed the idea that Iran or any of a few other “tiny” nations around the world offer a serious potential threat to the United States or the free world.

“Iran, Cuba, Venezuela? These countries are tiny compared to the Soviet Union. They don’t pose any serious threat to us,” he told a crowd at a campaign stop over the weekend, prompting the probable Republican opponent for the White House to respond that Iran already is attacking the U.S.

Jimmy Carter the peanut traitor

No Gravatar

Here is another view on Jimmy Carter our traitorous ex-president.

Carter to Hamas’ rescue

You might think a former president best known for pulling the Persian rug out from under the shah of Iran and rolling out the red carpet for the takeover of that country by Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini might be more circumspect about embracing anti-Jewish, anti-American, anti-Christian and anti-Western Middle East terrorists 30 years later.

But that kind of expectation would only be appropriate if Jimmy Carter were a lucid, rational, moral agent. He has proven once again he is not.

Carter, instead, like so many of his fellow Democratic Party leaders, only seems comfortable when he is undercutting his own country’s national security, demeaning America’s role in the world and, particularly, blaming the Jewish state for all of the problems in the Middle East.

It’s an amazing and mortifying spectacle to behold.

In another era, a former president who acted so recklessly might face treason charges when he returned. Indeed, he should. But, of course, he won’t. His treacherous actions won’t be punished at all – paving the way for more outrageous behavior in the future by him, other ex-presidents and other private citizens who have no business meddling in America’s foreign affairs.

At some point, we have to recognize the obvious: Jimmy Carter hates Israel, he hates America and he is still pursuing some kind of payoff from the oil powers of the Middle East for doing their dirty work for them.

Jimmy Carter always takes the side of evil

No Gravatar

At what point in his life did Jimmy Carter sell out to the Devil? Every wonder why Billy Carter drank himself to death. He knew his brother.

Jimmy Carter: Emissary of evil

Jimmy Carter is all about Jimmy Carter. During his presidency, he gave up the Panama Canal and allowed the Ayatollahs to take power in Iran – all for the praise of the international community. In 1980, he asked the Soviet Union to release Jewish emigrants, hoping that such action would soften American feeling against the USSR and thereby swing the presidential election to him. In 1984, he told the Russians that if Reagan were re-elected, there would not “be a single agreement on arms control, especially on nuclear arms, as long as Reagan remained in power.” In 2002, Carter accepted the Nobel Peace Prize, despite a clear indication by Nobel Committee members that the prize was meant as a rebuke to President Bush.

Does all this make Carter evil, or just a useful idiot? By all accounts, Carter is highly intelligent – perhaps the most intelligent president of the last 50 years. It would be foolish to write him off as simply naive. He is quite willing to be used by dictators from Venezuela to Cuba to North Korea, so long as helping them polishes his legacy. For almost three decades, Carter has pandered to enemies of Western Civilization, shielding his treasonous behavior with the title of “ex-president.” His Hamas-hugging is just the latest entry in a political diary that would make Osama bin Laden proud.

Carter in the hands of terrorists

No Gravatar

I suggest that no Secret Service or any other American lives be put in danger in Syria because Carter wants to play the fool. A fitting justice would be for Carter to end up like the hostages that he left rot in Iran when President.

Carter Defends Upcoming Meeting With Hamas in Syria - Politics | Republican Party | Democratic Party | Political Spectrum

Several State Department officials, including the secretary, Condoleezza Rice, criticized his plans. Carter said he had not heard the objections directly, although a State Department spokesman said earlier that a senior official from the department had called the former president.

The State Department says it advised Carter twice against meeting representatives of Hamas, which Washington lists as a terrorist organization.

“I find it hard to understand what is going to be gained by having discussions with Hamas about peace when Hamas is, in fact, the impediment to peace,” Rice said Friday, after reports of the planned meeting surfaced.

Obama’s bad judgment might come from his grandfather

No Gravatar

You will have to read Ann Coulter’s article to get the point of all this. The point is really that Obama believes people he should not be believing and he then makes leaps of judgment that probably are not true. That really does seem to be a pattern in Obama’s life. It is not a good quality in a President.

Dreams from my father, lame excuses from my grandfather

How deranged would you have to be to cite this incident as evidence that your grandmother thought like a “typical white person” – as opposed to your grandfather being worthless and lazy? For those keeping score, Obama is aghast at his grandmother’s alleged racism, but had no problem with Jeremiah Wright’s manifest racism.

If Obama is sent reeling by the mere words of an elderly white woman, how is he going to negotiate with a guy like Mahmoud Ahmadinejad? What if Ahmadinejad calls him “booger-face”? Will he run crying from the table?

Your grandmother wasn’t a racist, Barack. Your grandpa was just a loser. Can we wrap up our national conversation about race now? I think we’d like to move onto questions about your stupid plan to hold talks with Iran.

Laurie Roth brings up Obama’s terrorist connections

No Gravatar

I cannot comment on this alleged Obama terrorist connection because this is the first I have heard about it. If the story has any real legs Obama will be finished.

New Media Alliance - Jim Kouri

There is a far-reaching scandal brewing for presidential hopeful Sen. Barack Obama, thanks to a radio talk show host based in Oregon. Syndicated talk host Laurie Roth’s revelations make the news story about Obama’s relationship with a racist, anti-American pastor look like child’s play.A top official at the Pentagon during former-President George H. W. Bush’s Administration and a former CIA intelligence officer maintain that Barack Obama and former Weather Underground honcho William Ayers funneled money to Professor Rashid Khalidi, a known terrorist sympathizer.

Khalidi serves on the faculty of Columbia University in New York and is best known as the professor who invited Iranian President Ahmedinejad to visit Columbia University after he finished his speech at the United Nations. According to confidential sources, Khalidi has direct ties to the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO), a group on the US State Department’s list of known terrorist groups.

“One source for this information was once a top military figure in the 1990s. He doesn’t take making allegations lightly. If he says something happened, believe me, it happened,” said syndicated radio talk show host Laurie Roth (http://www.therothshow.com/)

The Wilder solution

No Gravatar

It sometimes only takes one strong man to began a movement. Europe does not know it yet but leaders like Wilder are Europe’s future. People will soon see that the appeasers of Islam have brought them social unrest and destruction. They will see that those appeasing a foreign culture with radical religious laws are destroying their own national security and identity. They will see that the same type of men who are best at hiking their skirts and groveling at bully’s feet brought this all on them. Will it get nasty? Yes. Will the native homeland movements in Europe be essential for Europeans own self respect. You bet. Will Islam around the world go nuts? You bet. The Wilder solution is all the more reason not to let Iran get nukes.

FrontPage Magazine

In an unprecedented speech to the Dutch parliament this month, Wilders again pointed to the danger a creeping Islamification poses to Holland and Europe, warning it was “a few minutes to midnight.” He also chided the ruling party for betraying the Dutch culture and people, calling one minister “stark raving mad” in the speech for having said that sharia law could be introduced into Holland.Wilders has paid a heavy price for his position. He has had his own freedom restricted. Death threats from Muslim extremists have caused him to be put under 24-hour police protection for the past two years. Wilders thus joins the growing list of people in Europe requiring protection from Islamic radicals. At one time, it was only Salman Rushdie who was forced to live in hiding; now, as one observer pointed out, such people are so numerous they nearly constitute a new, social class.

Most citizens of the Netherlands have forgotten, but the Dutch were once made of sterner stuff.

“Europe is now light years away from such a resolute response to the threat of radical Islam. And that makes Wilders’ film — a lone note of dissent in a continent resigned to cultural submission — all the more important.”

McCain said, in the only interview he is giving to the Israeli media during his visit here.”They are dedicated to the extinction of everything that the US, Israel and the West believe and stand for. So America does have an interest in what happens here, far above and beyond our alliance with the State of Israel.”

OUTLAW OPEC!

No Gravatar

I suggest it is high time for OPEC to be outlawed. It is an illegal organization under international law and is a threat to the security interests of the U.S. and much of the world. And I don’t think it should take years going through world courts to determine what we know is already the truth. There are various ways that we could deal with OPEC but it would take some leadership instead of just kissing the feet of these oil ministers who insist on fixing oil prices at obscene levels. Put someone like me in charge for one month and they would find themselves playing a very high stake poker game where I hold all the aces.

It is time the free market system played out and the nations of the world were not being extorted by a group of international pirates that love to call themselves oil ministers. It is time for these nations to get ready to play with a level trading deck because the American people are not going to allow these international pirates to rip us off much longer.

OPEC president says he favours cutting oil output - Yahoo! News

VIENNA (AFP) - OPEC president, Algerian Oil Minister Chakib Khelil, said here Tuesday that he would “prefer” the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries to cut oil production at its upcoming ministerial meeting.
ADVERTISEMENT”I would prefer in this situation to lower production because demand globally is going to be lower,” Khelil told a press briefing ahead of Wednesday’s meeting in Vienna.

Algeria joins Iran and Venezuela in calling for a cut in output ahead of the second quarter when demand for heating fuel was expected to drop owing to warmer temperatures in energy-hungry Europe and the United States.

All three are traditional hawks in OPEC, frequently favouring output cuts to support oil prices, which are trading at record highs above 100 dollars per barrel.

Amid soaring prices, analysts believe OPEC will agree to maintain output on Wednesday. This would not be enough, however, to appease energy consuming nations who want OPEC to increase production to help bring down prices.

The White House on Tuesday urged OPEC to keep world markets “well supplied.”

Delusional Ahmadinejad believes that Iran is the number one world power

America Bush-wacked by North Korea

No Gravatar

Living in denial about North Korea is just more proof that the Bush administration foreign policy is totally nuts. Lets not forget that his foreign policy toward Iran will soon allow them to have nuclear weapons and that he intends to create a terrorist state next to Israel to create peace in the Middle East?

The real state of play, then, is that North Korea will not fully
declare, much less disable or dismantle, its nuclear weapons programs,
and it has continued to proliferate. To mask this noncompliance, the
State Department will talk optimistically of the next phases of
diplomacy, continuing to provide North Korea with heavy fuel oil,
removing it from the list of state sponsors of terror, even negotiating
a peace treaty and full normalization. In short, no amount of evidence
of North Korea’s bad intentions will deter the Bush administration from
declaring diplomatic victory.

Iran says Israel is too weak to confront them.

No Gravatar

This statement by the Iran Foreign Minister is dumb and delusional. Why in the world would Israel use nukes against a rag tag army that was not a strategic  threat to Israel? If Israel takes out Iran’s nuclear facilities and Iran and Syria take military action against Israel it is a whole different ball game.

One has to wonder why Iran is again spouting this rhetoric each day. They either must believe what they say - that would make them delusional, or else they think they can scare Israel off by their belligerent words. But all their words against Israel’s right to exist just makes an attack on their nuclear facilities more likely.

Iran: Israel too weak to confront us

Iran purges and the US State Department encourages them

No Gravatar

The US State Department and Secretary Rice have such Liberal dumb polices worldwide that one has to believe that the elite Left actually runs our State Department even in so called Conservative administrations. It appears that the globalist elite run foreign policy in spite of the President and stupid actions like the NIA report come by direction of this department.

clipped from frontpagemag.com
OPPONENTS of taking a tough line on Iran have always claimed that imposing sanctions (not to mention threatening military action) would strengthen the Islamic Republic’s most
radical elements.
Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice looks to have bought that argument. Last
week, she agreed to water down the new sanctions that her advisers had devised
against the Islamic Republic.
Waving an olive branch, Rice also called for a peaceful resolution of the
dispute over Tehran’s illicit nuclear ambitions.
Events inside Iran, however, provide a different picture. The Council of the Guardians of the Constitution, a 12-man committee of mullahs and their legal advisers, this week rejected applications from nearly 4,000 men and women to run
in the March 14 general election. Nearly all the denied applicants belong to the 21 groups designated by Western observers as “reformist” opponents of the ultra-radical President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

British Intelligence chief says Iran will have nuke by 2009

No Gravatar

The report says that the NIE will make an attack on Iran more likely because it stopped the sanctions.

clipped from www.worldnetdaily.com

MI6 chief John Scarlett and Mossad leader Meir Dagan believe the U.S. report
not only has undermined efforts to impose tough new sanctions on Iran but,
ironically, makes a pre-emptive strike on Iran’s nuclear facilities more likely.
The prospect of that attack came closer when Israel’s new ambassador in London,
Ron Prosor, said that Iran “will have enough uranium to make an atomic bomb by
2009.” Proser is one of Israel’s leading experts on Iran’s nuclear program.

US Navy inaction risks greater danger

No Gravatar

Looks like someone else sees things pretty much the same as I stated on my previous post. The boats should have been sunk and Iran needs to be told that any threat to any international ship will be dealt with swiftly.

clipped from frontpagemag.com

EARLY Sunday morning,
the US Navy lost its nerve and guaranteed that American sailors will die at
Iranian hands in the future.

We should’ve sunk every one of them.

Not because we’re warmongers. But because the Iranians had made threats,
verbal and physical, that amounted to acts of war. When will we learn that
resolute action taken early saves vast amounts of blood and treasure later?

They now believe that the Bush administration, our military and the entire United States are afraid of them.
