I have more than once said that this would happen. North Korea has been getting freebies from America for 15 years to stop their nuclear development and has done nothing but make nukes. You cannot deal with madmen. If you read this article you will see even after the 11 disablement measures are actually taken (they have been halted) it would only take North Korea only about a year to start the facilities up again (what a great deal!). Not to even mention the secret uranium project that North Korea has that is still making nuclear material that no one is talking about or the nuclear bombs it already has made for export. So the North Koreans found ways to backed out of all the deals and have make fools out of both the Clinton Administration and the Bush Administration. North Korea now hopes to take on what they know will even be a more foolish Obama Administration.

North Korea says it halts nuclear reactor disablement | International | Jerusalem Post

The North’s announcement marks the emergence of the biggest hurdle yet to the communist nation’s denuclearization process under a landmark deal last year and is expected to escalate tension in the nuclear talks involving China, Japan, the two Koreas, the US and Russia.

Pyongyang’s Foreign Ministry said it suspended the disablement work at the reactor and other facilities at its Yongbyon nuclear complex as of August 14 because the US did not keep its promise to delist Pyongyang as a terror sponsor under last year’s deal.

The ministry also said the country will “consider soon a step to restore” the Yongbyon nuclear facilities, but did not elaborate.

Yang Moo-jin, a professor at Seoul’s University of North Korean Studies, called Tuesday’s statement “very serious” and said that it could mean Pyongyang may have decided not to deal with the administration of US President George W. Bush.

South Korean and US officials have said eight of the 11 disablement measures have been finished and that when the entire disablement is completed, it would take at least a year for the North to restart the facilities.

But all that couldn’t get Governor Christine Gregoire into a downtown Olympia bar.

She is not alone. The Washington State Liquor Control Board says it gets complaints all the time from people who are clearly of age but who still get carded. Spokesperson Jennifer Skoda says the state law doesn’t spell out who should be carded. It just says where there may be a question of a person’s right to purchase liquor, the person shall be required to present ID.

“The burden is also with the licensee to ensure their patrons are over 21,” Skoda said.

Todd Ruzicka owns the bar. He says he has no idea why the part-time bouncer chose to card someone who’s almost three times his age.

People like Nancy Pelosi, T. Boone Pickens and Al gore are telling lies that could have a catastrophic negative impact on this nations for decades. There is something wrong when all these people can get invited over and over again to appear on public media shows to give their nutty unrealistic views on energy but little or nothing is said by people who know the truth. There is a term for this, it is called brainwashing the American public.

As I speak their is a bill sponsored by Obama going through Congress that will simply give away almost one percent of America’s Gross national product each year to the UN to give to other nations. Nancy Pelosi is playing God

There is a big disconnect between the rush to convert automobiles to batteries and the reality that the electricity to recharge those batteries would require a massive new generating capacity. The same flawed excuse of “protecting the environment” has also blocked the expansion of electricity generating capacity. If the self-appointed gods of environmental protection won’t allow the expansion of electricity generation, how are the batteries of all these new electric vehicles going to be recharged every night?

Another major disconnect between the rush to replace oil with renewable sources such as wind and solar is the negative environmental impact of these renewable technologies. For example, to replace a single 50-megawatt coal-fired generating plant, which may occupy as much as 20 acres of land, approximately 3,000 acres of land would have to be occupied by wind turbines. To produce 50-megawatts of electricity from solar panels would cover even more land. How can these protectors of the environment justify blanketing the land with whirling bird-killers and solar panels that block the sun from all forms of life beneath them?

Some environmental purists genuinely want America and the world to return to the Stone Age. Nancy Pelosi is no environmental purist. She is a political creature, which is a person so intoxicated by power that the instinct to retain and expand it overwhelms common sense, logic, ethics, morality, or anything else that might get in the way.

By her refusal even to allow debate on proposals to expand oil development – where oil is known to exist – she stands like a barricade between thirsty consumers and a new mountain stream. She apparently sees herself as a self-appointed savior; she is, in truth, acting as judge and jury, condemning a nation desperate for more energy to spiraling energy costs for possibly another generation.

This is not a new posture for Democrat leadership. Democrats in the House, the Senate and the White House have blocked expansion of oil supplies for more than a decade. Had Bill Clinton not vetoed the bill that would have opened the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge more than a decade ago, gas prices would not be as high as they are today. Millions of jobs would have been created, and every American could have saved the money needlessly paid to foreign sources for oil, simply because one man played God and defied the express will of the people.

Nancy Pelosi is now playing God, standing where Bill Clinton stood more than a decade ago, defying the expressed will of the people by blocking access to the known oil reserves that are so desperately needed by the entire nation.

This Nobel buffoon challenges the U.S. to get every kilowatt of electricity out of what he calls “Earth-friendly” sources in 10 years. It can’t be done and everyone knows it. It can’t even be done in fifty years. He is even contradicting the Alliance for Climate Protection that he chairs. They say it will cost the nation 1.5 to 3 trillion dollars over thirty years and that does not even count the two billion it will cost for clean coal. So who do you think will pay this five trillion dollars? You will pay for it by higher prices on everything and through carbon taxes.

We do not have to be at the mercy of oil producing regimes. Environmentalists and globalists like Al Gore made that possible. We can once again be the largest oil producing regime on the planet. We have the largest oil and coal reserves in the world and it will cost only $50 a barrel to get it out of the ground. The oil is in oil shale and oil companies now know how to get it out of the ground without harming the environment. The U.S. and Canada have have enough oil and gas in shale, oil sands and coal to be a major exporter to the world for a thousand years. Granted it would take about 30 years before we can become a major net exporter but each year we will be producing more and more of our own oil at the equivalent of $2 a gallon gas. Those are the facts. However we need to get started if we are ever going to be a net exporter rather than an importer. That means that we have to allow oil shale development on Federal lands where most of it is located and coal plants needs to be built that will start converting coal to oil. The know how exists. Pilot project are under development that will produce oil out of shale for under $50 a barrel, the same methods can be used for oil sands. South Africa is now producing oil out of coal for most of the oil needs of their nation at $30 a barrel.

What really needs to be done is for Congress and environmentalists like Al Gore to stop blocking progress. CO2 in any level that man produces is beneficial to the earth. It makes green plants grow and there is no evidence that it is linked to global warming. In fact, as CO2 level continue to increase the earth has not cooled in over a decade and it actually started major cooling in the last two years. Alaska as I speak is having the coldest summer in a long time. Your not going to see pictures of ice free passages in the Arctic this year unless they use last years footage (that is not at all above them). So without any evidence they say global warming is taking a ten year break and it will start again once they ramrod their crazy energy policies on much of the world. This really has nothing to do with global warming it is all about global control of everyone.

Increased volcanic activity will more likely have more effect on CO2 in the future then anything that man does. Since man only causes less then five percent of the CO2 in the atmosphere.

Another thing is Al Gore and other globalist like him are the ones who exported all our manufacturing to other nations. So they created the rapid uncontrolled development in China and India and now they say that these nations are causing the problem by using more oil. So they created the problem and now the same people who created the problem tell us the problem they created is the cause of the world oil shortage. Gee, maybe you people should of thought of that before you exported all of manufacturing jobs to nations that have few environmental controls. They governments are also subsidizing the cost of oil in these developing nations. If they let the free market set the price of oil many of the jobs would go elsewhere and China and India would not keep expanding at this insane rate.

Al Gore also does not understand economics 101. Oil prices can only go as high as people are willing to pay for it. They are not going to keep going up. If they did there would be a world depression and oil demand would decline. We heard the same nonsense under Jimmy Carter in the late 70’s but then oil prices declined under Ronald Regan due to free enterprise.

That is why anytime you hear of the likelihood of a recession in the U.S. oil prices suddenly decline. If we had a severe recession in this country all nations exports would suffer and these countries would be using less oil. It is possible that in a world recession oil prices could be back under $30 a barrel. There is also new oil coming on line in the next two years that could help push prices down. The main reason oil continues to go up is on the future speculation that demand will increase ten years down the line. However, if we start major drilling programs and other energy development that will take the future out of the oil futures market and oil will go down to what it is actually worth.

I suggest they we have a moon project and send Al Gore to the moon before the globe suffers irreparable harm from the global carbon scheme that he is pushing and his crystal ball predictions of doom.

WASHINGTON (AP) - Just as John F. Kennedy set his sights on the moon, Al Gore is challenging the nation to produce every kilowatt of electricity through wind, sun and other Earth-friendly energy sources within 10 years, an audacious goal he hopes the next president will embrace.

The Alliance for Climate Protection, a bipartisan group that he chairs, estimates the cost of transforming the nation to so-called clean electricity sources at $1.5 trillion to $3 trillion over 30 years in public and private money. But he says it would cost about as much to build ozone-killing coal plants to satisfy current demand.

To meet his 10-year goal, Gore said nuclear energy output would continue at current levels while the nation dramatically increases its use of solar, wind, geothermal and so-called clean coal energy. Huge investments must also be made in technologies that reduce energy waste and link existing grids, he said.

If the nation fails to act, the cost of oil will continue to rise as fast-growing China and India increase demand, Gore said. Sustained addiction to oil also will place the nation at the mercy of oil-producing regimes, he said, and the globe would suffer irreparable harm.

Government experts recently predicted that, at the current rate, world energy demand will grow 50 percent over the next two decades. The Energy Information Administration also said in its long-range forecast to 2030 that the world is not close to abandoning fossil fuels despite their effect on global warming.

Let me clarify something said in the first paragraph that is not correct. For Catholics it is not a wafer “representing” the body of Christ for Catholics it is the “Body of Christ” having said that read what the Catholic League president said.

Death threats for stealing ‘Body of Christ’

A student at the University of Central Florida says he’s now getting death threats after he stole and later returned a wafer representing the “Body of Christ” from a Catholic Mass in Orlando.

Catholic League president Bill Donohue commented on the case, stating:

“For a student to disrupt Mass by taking the Body of Christ hostage – regardless of the alleged nature of his grievance – is beyond hate speech. That is why the UCF administration needs to act swiftly and decisively in seeing that justice is done. All options should be on the table, including expulsion.”

Well you knew it had to come to this. Just wait until the liberals pass their hate speech laws. ‘Gay’ man sues Bible publishers

A homosexual man who has a blog on Sen. Barack Obama’s campaign website is suing two major Christian publishers for violating his constitutional rights and causing emotional pain, because the Bible versions they publish refer to homosexuality as a sin.

Bradley LaShawn Fowler, 39, of Canton, Mich., is seeking $60 million from Zondervan and another $10 million from Thomas Nelson Publishing in lawsuits filed in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, the Grand Rapids Press reported.

Fowler filed his claim against Grand Rapids-based Zondervan Monday, alleging its Bibles’ references to homosexuality as a sin have made him an outcast from his family and contributed to physical discomfort and periods of “demoralization, chaos and bewilderment,” the paper said.

He filed suit against Tennessee publisher Thomas Nelson in June.

There are moral ethics involved, says Dr. Mark Mostert of Regent University. He believes that, in this case, technology has “outstripped our thinking,” and contends that the creation of human-animal embryos presents the potential for doing a great deal of harm

Mostert argues that the creation of human-pig embryos will create beings that God never intended to be. He also stresses that many scientists are atheists or agnostics and care nothing about biblical ethics.

The good senator opined that “coal is making us sick, oil is making us sick – we’re ruining our country, we’re ruining the planet.”

All the labor-saving devices of the Industrial Revolution, all the wonders of its successor in innovation, the Technological Revolution, all the marvels of the last century in transportation, communication, medicine and entertainment – all made possible by the increasingly creative use of oil, coal, and natural gas. All of it swept aside as “ruining the planet.”

Sen. Reid: Your statement is a monstrous lie, and what’s worse, a reflection of a growing madness in the American political ruling class.

But first, Sen. Reid, stop the madness. If you really believe (with my county supervisor) that we must stop using all coal, natural gas and oil, then you have become the Mad Hatter of American politics. Please step aside for new leadership capable of rational thought and bipartisan problem solving.

What you are not being told is that the Left is opposing the development of the HUGE oil reserves in the U.S. and Canada through congressional legislation. The Federal government is now not allowed to buy oil sands oil from Canada but that is only the tip of the iceberg. Drilling on oil shale lands on Federal lands in the United States is illegal thanks to congress. Between the oil shale lands and the tar sands we have more oil reserves then the rest of the world combined and it can be developed at less than $50 a barrel. On top of that the democrats block off shore drilling and they are trying to legislate the shutting down of our coal industry. Obama Gets Tough – On Canada! - CWN

one of the few bright spots in the foreign oil market has been our neighbor to the north – Canada. In fact, it may surprise you to learn that the number one foreign supplier of our imported oil is Canada, not Saudi Arabia. Canada is not only a reliable supplier of drilled oil and natural gas, but it also has incredible supplies of oil trapped in “tar sands.” At current prices, it is cost effective to “squeeze” that oil out of the tar sands and bring it to the marketplace. By every estimate, the oil in Canada’s tar sands rivals Saudi Arabia’s known reserves. Already that oil represents 47% of Canada’s total output and other countries, especially China, are trying to sign contracts to get it.

But if Barack Obama has his way, we are likely to watch that oil go everywhere but here. Last week, in a statement most of the media ignored, he called the Canadian oil “dirty,” and his top energy advisor raised serious reservations about whether the United States under a “President Obama” would even want the tar sands oil. And since Barack Obama opposes drilling for our own oil, guess what will happen to the price at the pump when we take the Canadian oil off the table?

But that’s really the Left’s dirty little secret — it doesn’t object to high gas prices. In fact, the Left see higher prices as just one more way for Big Government to control your life.

Now get this: Last year, liberal California Democrat Henry Waxman snuck a provision into the 2007 energy bill that prohibits the federal government from using coal-based fuels, oil shale and tar sands, all of which the United States and Canada have in abundance, in order to combat global warming. The United States Air Force is desperately trying to get this provision repealed since it immediately recognized the potential risk to our national security of another Arab oil embargo now that Rep. Waxman and his fellow Democrats have prevented the Air Force from using Canadian oil sands. It’s hard to fly planes if you can’t get the jet fuel you need. Efforts to repeal the Waxman provision are being led by Rep. Jeb Hensarling (R-TX) and Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-OK), two outstanding conservative champions.

Why Bush would deal with a mad man is a mystery only known to himself and the mad people running our State Department. I will want to hear the story one day but I fear it might be an advanced case of what Ronald Regan got or some kind of coup d’état. Otherwise, it is very difficult to understand the radical change in Bush in the last few years. Maybe He wants to show some peace gesture to the world before Israel bombs Iran forcing the U.S. to join them. Or perhaps Bush needed this to get China and Russia to sign off on a strike on Iran. Who knows?

The U.S. is being played the fool by North Korea. We get to pay for the dismantling of their aging reactor and to supply them with critical food and energy and they get to keep the nuclear material and their missiles to deliver nukes. They also get to possibly try again to get nuclear material to other terrorists states like Syria and Iran.

Nothing is said about North Korea’s secret Uranium enrichment program that may continue to produce fissionable material. Now we are going to lift all sanctions and embargoes like they actually did something good and just turn a blind eye to the fact they just tried to give Syria what it takes to make a nuke. If that does not make North Korea a terrorist state I do not know what does. Thanks to Israel that plan was stopped but who knows what is going on in the slimy little demented mind of Kim Jong III?.

So it is that, despite its recent collaboration with Hezbollah-sponsor Syria – to say nothing of its intent, in the run-up the Iraq war, to sell $10 million worth of medium-range missiles to Saddam Hussein for use against coalition troops – North Korea no longer will be designated a terrorist state. Never mind that the country has yet to come clean about its nuclear program. In the eyes of the Bush administration, North Korea has been given a clean slate.

And legitimacy. Notwithstanding its defiance of every nuclear treaty it has ever signed – a habit of violation that continues in its latest declaration, which reportedly discusses only plutonium processing activities and not the uranium enrichment and nuclear capabilities that were supposed to have been declared – North Korea is being treated as a credible partner in negotiations instead of the extortionist state that it clearly is. Fool the Bush administration once, the lesson appears to be, and you wind up in the “axis-of-evil.” Fool it repeatedly, and all is forgiven.

As always with North Korea, there are token concessions. To demonstrate its sincerity, Pyongyang has invited foreign TV crews to broadcast its demolition of the cooling tower at the notorious Yongbyon nuclear plant. It promises to be quite the affair, though one would have to be really taken in by spectacle to forget that the plant was already supposed to be completely disabled in the 1990s and, more recently, by the end of 2007. Nor will the made-for-the-cameras moment prove that North Korea has nothing to hide. The facility at Yongbyon is believed to have been shuttered last year, having already produced enough weapons-grade plutonium to build, by some estimates, at least nine nuclear bombs. To see the destruction of this Potemkin reactor as a sign of genuine progress is to yield to illusion.

It would be a fitting way to lose a nation. The most unqualified and most Far Left President in the history of the nation would nominate the most unqualified perverse person ever nominated to the Supreme Court and be ratified by the most amoral Senate in the the history of this nation. Only then when the Far Left controls all three branches of our government will the amoral majority in this nation get the government they asked for and deserve and the moral minority will then have ample reason to reject these reprobates and start their own nation. A leading legal journalist believes that if Barack Obama wins the presidency in 2008, he might appoint Hillary Clinton to the U.S. Supreme Court – much to the chagrin of at least one pro-family legal expert. (see related story)

Tony Mauro, Supreme Court correspondent for Legal Times and American Lawyer Media, penned a column for USA Today suggesting the possibility that Obama might put Clinton on the nation’s high court. Mat Staver, founder of Liberty Counsel, quips that if Senator Clinton (D-New York) were to be appointed, he would have to clear his throat just to say “Justice Clinton.”

“… [T]his particular notion of Hillary Clinton being a justice on the United States Supreme Court is absolutely scary because we know, indeed, that she’s not going to follow the rule of law,” says Staver. “She’s going to be ideologically driven — and we know which way her ideology leans.”

The ‘pregnant man’ freak show

A messiah in our midst?

Before we answer that question, let me vent for a moment. In 2000 I was cruelly denied the Pulitzer
despite being the only columnist in America to ask the pressing question: Is Al Gore an alien? The evidence was there for all to see. He was born nine months after the mysterious alien sighting at Roswell, N.M. His weird syntax and verbal rhythms are otherworldly. He often refers to “earth” or “this planet” as if he’s just passing through, and he once angrily complained to the Washington Post that it had printed a picture of the earth from outer space “upside down.”

There is no “upside down” in space — unless Gore had his childhood view in mind.

At least I’m not in the wilderness this time. Lots of people have pondered the possibility that Barack is our Divine Redeemer. There are Web sites dedicated to the question “Is Barack Obama the Messiah?” Google that question and you’ll get more than 35,000 hits. (Enter just the words “Messiah” and “Obama” and you’ll get nearly 10 times that.)

But there’s more concrete evidence. Since Obama declared his candidacy, there have been remarkably few biblical plagues. And lions and lambs seem open to bilateral negotiations.

Obama’s apostles are hard to dismiss. Oprah simply calls him “The One,” because “we need politicians who know how to be the truth.” (Jesus says in John 14:6 “I am the way, the truth …”) Oprah goes on to say Obama will help us “evolve to a higher plane,” which would put Obama in the role of our Intelligent Designer.

I think this article expresses the difference between real marriage and the perverted counterfeit that will always be a perverted counterfeit no matter how many governments try to change a natural order that cannot be changed. I’m going to dispense with the subtleties and point out what most are thinking but won’t say for fear of the inevitable “progressive” backlash (shhhh …they’re everywhere): So-called “same-sex marriage” is a counterfeit. If marriage is a Rembrandt, then the ridiculous and oxymoronic notion of “gay marriage” is a Rembrandt knock-off from the pages of Mad magazine. It’s a silly novelty.

I know. I’m “mean-spirited.” But in light of the California Supreme Court’s recent opinion – which enigmatically manufactured a “constitutional right” to “same-sex marriage” from thin air – I think we need to come back to earth for a moment. Mind you, re-entry into reality’s atmosphere will inevitably burn some folks.

When same-sex friendships are twisted and sexualized, practitioners of “the sin that dare not speak its name” are forced, at every level, to merely mimic the genuine article. They jump through a series of inelegant hoops to create a fantasy world wherein two people of the same gender clumsily imitate natural heterosexual pairings properly designed for procreation and the healthy rearing of children.

Even “gay sex” (male-male anal sodomy) is a crude, man-made imitation of the natural heterosexual reproductive process. Sadly, as millions of homosexuals have had to learn the hard way, this disordered, makeshift simulation of a natural biological process is coldly rejected by the very human biology it mocks.

As the CDC has illustrated time and again, unnatural behaviors beget natural consequences. Homosexual conduct – especially among males – creates an environment ripe for infectious disease and emotional and spiritual injury. This, by definition, is perversion.

Not only are we moving toward energy rationing we are moving toward a government of socialist control freaks that intend to control every aspect of our lives. They already have control over one third of the population of the earth and if you think it will not come here with the Far Left loons that you are listening to and electing to government just wait a few years. And having proclaimed the ultimate commandment — carbon chastity — they are preparing the supporting canonical legislation that will tell you how much you can travel, what kind of light you will read by, and at what temperature you may set your bedroom thermostat.

You need to understand this because this is really Al Gore’s cap and trade scheme brought to every individual. The only thing negative the British government has to say about it is that it is ahead of its time. In other words, we have not completed the brain washing project yet and don’t have the bureauacy in place yet but we will, and right now some might even oppose us.

Make no mistake about it, carbon rationing is what they want for all the people of the world. They want every product to be regulated by government and this carbon scheme will allow them to do that because there is carbon produced in the manufacturing or use of just about everything on earth.

This is really rationing of everything on earth under one global governance umbrella. They will try to make it seem not too bad at first and then they will keep turning the screws. In the end, only the elite rich will be able to buy all the credits they want and criminals. While us poor peons will be limited to the crumbs that they allow us.

What does this mean to the poor? Think about just a few of the implications:

• Meat will have high carbon credits and meat will be out of your price range.
• Heating and air conditioning of your house will be limited and set at the temperature that they dictate.
• Gasoline and Diesel will be rationed unless you can buy the carbon credits at ten times the rate.
• Electricity will be rationed
• Travel will be very limited and long distance travel will only be affordable for the rich
• building permits will have to pass the carbon test. That means no more limited use buildings like churches.
• The size of your house will be limited unless you can afford construction and utilities at ten times the rate
• Those who exhale CO2 and are not productive like the sick and the dying might be allowed to die
• Pets will only be allowed if you can pay the huge carbon fee imposed and the increased price for their food.
• All products will become much higher in price to pay for the manufactures use of carbon
• cook outs and campfires will be outlawed or priced out of existence.

That is just a fraction of one percent of the things that the control freaks will come up with if you allow this world insanity to spread. Also think about the Gestapo that will be created to enforce every aspect of your life. Notice that they will force you to carry a carbon rationing card, next they will force you to take the chip if you want to buy or sell. All this to stop the world from “possibly” increasing the temperature of the earth by .3C over the next hundred years.

Frankly, if you allow anything like this to come into being to save the planet from this non existent carbon and global warming threat you might as well just check yourself into the loony bin and save the rest of the world from your insanity.

If that sounds like harsh wording it is meant to be. This global warming hype with the regulations they propose is the greatest danger to this planet that the world has ever seen. It will allow unelected bureaucrats to control everything in everyones life. It is nothing but big brother fascism and if you cannot see that, you are a danger to the world. Every adult should be forced to use a ‘carbon ration card’ when they pay for petrol, airline tickets or household energy, MPs say.

The influential Environmental Audit Committee says a personal carbon trading scheme is the best and fairest way of cutting Britain’s CO2 emissions without penalising the poor.

Under the scheme, everyone would be given an annual carbon allowance to use when buying oil, gas, electricity and flights.

Anyone who exceeds their entitlement would have to buy top-up credits from individuals who haven’t used up their allowance. The amount paid would be driven by market forces and the deal done through a specialist company.

MPs, led by Tory Tim Yeo, say the scheme could be more effective at cutting greenhouse gas emissions than green taxes.

But critics say the idea is costly, bureaucratic, intrusive and unworkable.

The Government says it supports the scheme in principle, but warns it is ‘ahead of its time’.

The idea of personal carbon trading is increasingly being promoted by environmentalists. In theory it could be used to cover all purchases - from petrol to food.

HOW THE SCHEME WOULD WORK

Every adult in the UK would be given an annual carbon dioxide allowance in kgs and a special carbon card.

The scheme would cover road fuel, flights and energy bills.

Every time someone paid for road fuel, flights or energy, their carbon account would be docked.

A litre of petrol would use up 2.3kg in carbon, while every 1.3 miles of airline flight would use another 1kg.

When paying for petrol, the card would need to swiped at the till. It would be a legal offence to buy petrol without using a card.

When paying online, or by direct debit, the carbon account would be debited directly.

Anyone who doesn’t use up their credits in a year can sell them to someone who wants more credits. Trading would be done through specialist companies.

To declare that homosexuals can marry is patently absurd. The very definition of marriage is the union of a man and woman, first and foremost, for the procreation of children.

To say two men who live together and engage in sex can be married renders the idea and ideal of marriage meaningless. The news this week that John McCain will attend the national convention of La Raza is beyond disturbing.
