Here are two articles that document just how dumb Americans have become. Americans cannot even pass a basic civics test and the people they elect are worse educated than they are. Perhaps you should have to get a minimum grade on a civics test to prove that you have some knowledge of how our system operates before a person should be allow to vote. American Public Flunks Basic Civics – HUMAN EVENTS

*Fully 71 percent of Americans flunked a 33-question civic-literacy survey conducted by the Intercollegiate Studies Institute. Among 2,508 respondents ISI randomly selected, 1,791 failed this test of U.S. historical, political, and economic basics. The average score was just 49 out of 100 — a solid F. While just 2.6 percent scored Bs on this quiz,

*Just 49 percent of rank-and-file Americans can identify the legislature, executive, and judiciary as our three branches of government.

*Forty percent of college graduates have no idea that corporate profits equal revenues minus expenses. (Thus, congressional demagoguery about “windfall profits” falls on sympathetic ears.) Only 24 percent of college grads realize that the First Amendment forbids the establishment of an official U.S. religion.

*Amazingly enough, this sample’s 164 self-identified elected officials know even less than laymen. They averaged only 44, as the blind lead the bland. Among office holders, 30 percent did not know that the Declaration of Independence heralds “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.”

“Our study raises significant questions about whether citizens who voted in this year’s landmark presidential election really understand how our system of representative democracy works,” said Dr. Richard Brake, ISI’s Director of University Stewardship.

Lt. General Josiah Bunting III, the chairman of ISI’s National Civic Literacy Board, describes his initial reaction to these results as “somewhat short of despair, certainly one of depression.” He adds: “These questions are designed to elicit answers to fundamental questions. A citizen should know that the president cannot declare war. A citizen should know the circumstances of the founding of the country.”

The grim results of ISI’s study reveal a crisis in this nation’s defining concept. In 1776, America’s Founding Fathers broke with Britain and established a country where men and women liberated from monarchic despotism would rule themselves, provided they were equipped with the requisite knowledge and wisdom. Will a people mesmerized by the televised humiliation of wannabe pop stars maintain this essential capacity for self-government? Thomas Jefferson’s warning remains as timely as ever: “If a nation expects to be ignorant and free…it expects what never was and never will be.”

Obama-King of Fools – HUMAN EVENTS

Trying to explain how our economy works and why lowering taxes is always better for them and their country, than imposing higher taxes is an economic bridge too far for many of the Obama sheep. Unfortunately there is no “See Spot & the Economy Run” book for the hooked on phonics crowd. Many of these numbskulls can’t balance a check book or spell “e-c-o-n-o-m-i-c-s” but they sure know who will give them stuff. The lie is impossible.

Expecting these idiotscitizens to have analyzed the tax positions of Obama and McCain and arrive at a decision that truly benefits them and America is wishful thinking. The reason is that they know zilch about how the economy operates and worse, don’t care. Bama will take care of us. Four very scary things-a sow grizzly with cubs at closerange, a coiled rattlesnake in striking distance, me in a rental car in the left lane, and dunces with credit cards.

And indeed they are dunces, products of a tax burning, failed public education system. That is, if they even bothered to complete high school. They don’t read newspapers or books, and even if they did, I got twenty bucks that says they couldn’t comprehend what they read. They are morons in the first degree. And clearly, they vote.

If and when President Obama attempts to impose his wrong-headed, punitive tax structure, their stupidity is going to come back to thump them upside their vacuous heads with a very painful crowbar of reality. The economy works in strange and wondrous ways and has a unique way of severely punishing fools. Rare justice is a beautiful thing.

These dunderheads have no clue how the economic mess was largely caused by Democrats, including Obama. But Obama, recognizing how gullible, naive and dumb many of his supporters are, drummed it into them that the economic mess was caused by President Bush and the Republicans and that he is going to give 95% of Americans a tax cut when 40% of Americans don’t even pay any federal taxes. Investing deception capital in the stupidity of his supporters was a very wise move on Obama’s part. That is if you don’t really care about anything except getting elected.

Obama’s stated agenda will bring carbon cap and trade taxes on us and hinder the use of fuels that produce CO2. Those like him who believe rising CO2 is causing global warming are either very ignorant of the latest facts or they are purposely being deceptive in order to expand global governance over everyone. “There is no convincing scientific evidence that human release of carbon dioxide, methane, or other greenhouse gasses is causing or will, in the foreseeable future, cause catastrophic heating of the Earth’s atmosphere and disruption of the Earth’s climate. Moreover, there is substantial scientific evidence that increases in atmospheric carbon dioxide produce many beneficial effects upon the natural plant and animal environments of the Earth.”

Let me assure you that we’re not in good humor, nor take it kindly to be slurred and ridiculed by taking the other side in this debate. And our numbers are still growing. Indeed, we’re angry that the vast majority of American Scientists will not be heard by the media. We’re dismayed over the fact that the Global Warming fiasco has become politically popular and expedient to those left-wing politicians and power-brokers whose sole aim is to literally tax everything with a carbon footprint and give them control over all life, hidden within their PC guileful pretence to save the planet. They wish to save no one but themselves.

And the tide turns further. Of the 2500 originally aligned scientists and putative authors of the UN’s IPCC report some 500 are no longer faithful to Big Al’s errand. Many of these scientists discovered that their individual findings and comments were willfully misrepresented. All participant conclusions were unilaterally changed to adhere strictly to the United Nations objective of building support for world taxation and rationing of industrially useful energy. Since the original IPCC report (and there have been some 4 others now formally issued), the defecting 500 scientists have issued public statements challenging global warming. Approximately 100 of these scientists are now open defectors. Others are currently suing the UN for the misuse of their good names and research. It is difficult to see why a thinking person would even consider the IPCC report as legitimate.

The entire IPCC process is but obfuscation by the secular and atheist Left. It has allowed the Left to conflate the vanity of secular opinion with scientific and/or moral truth. There is an easy and immediate remedy for their debacle. Will Rogers stated it simply: “When you are in a hole … stop digging…. Please!”

An Obama Victory in 2012 is very likely for the reasons stated in this article. The solution to constitutional abuses by the federal government is also the one stated. States and local governments simply do not have to go along with unconstitutional federal decrees because each State in this Union has sovereignty to decide its own fate. Sure, that means that the federal government will attempt to blackmail and intimidate local governments by cutting off federal funding but States can also withhold taxes to the federal government and secede from the Union if necessary. Ruth Bader-Ginsberg, that affirmative-action appointee, said herself that the Internet makes other nations’ court rulings readily available and that we should learn from them. Said she, “[As judges and lawyers] we must look beyond our borders, to the laws and constitutions of other nations.” By the way, some people call this a judicial philosophy. I call it malfeasance and treason.

So this is our probable dystopian reality. Yet we do have some recourse. And here is what I recommend for now.

The Founding Fathers meant for us to be a nation of states, not a nation state; they intended for most power to rest on the state level and for localities to largely shape their own destinies. We must embrace this model with boldness and vigor. Huge swaths of our nation are now in the pocket of the left, but there are yet bastions of light wherein traditionalists can hold sway. In these places, campaign hard and seize control of the local governments. Then, resist any and every unconstitutional mandate.

This well thought out article points out the division that this election will bring no matter who wins. This election is going to bring division in this nation like we have never seen since the Civil War. When elections are rigged by money and media brainwashing or the media plays up lies about stolen elections how can you expect a cordial outcome? The question is will Americans then see the Democrat party for what it really is and vote it out or will it just refuse to see and look for scapegoats to persecute, tax, regulate, and blame? I suggest many of these co-dependents will never admit they were wrong. Yes, white supremacists will try to feed on this but constitutional and Christian Americans must never let them set their agenda. Taking the high road on that may be a bigger challenge than just given into the hate.

It is amazing to see to what extent people are willing to go to eulogize another human being. It is this excess that constitutes the cult of personality. The difference between admiration and cult of personality is in the degree of adulation. Is it not fair to say that Obama has the same effect on his fans that Hitler, Khomeini or other famous demagogues such as Joseph Stalin or Mao Ze Dong had? I am not equating Obama to those mass murderers. Obama has not killed anyone (at least not yet). I am only comparing their effects on their audience, particularly prior to their rise to power. Obama’s speeches are unlike any political speech we have heard in American history. Never a politician in this land had such a quasi “religious” impact on so many people. The fact that Obama is a total incognito with zero accomplishment, makes this inexplicable infatuation alarming. Obama’s speeches are grandiose. They are other worldly. He may talk about the war in Iraq, taxes or social security. It does not matter how mundane is the subject, he makes them sound transcendental and his audience is moved to tears. His worshippers do not go to listen to his plans. He has yet to offer any that is workable and different. They go to bask in his glory, to get high. Obama presents himself as someone with a unique vision and grasp of the entire problems affecting, not just the nation but the world, a pretense that is incomensurate with his track record. When in a meeting with House Democrats waxing lyrical about his trip to Europe, he concluded, “this is the moment, as Nancy [Pelosi] noted, that the world is waiting for.” The world is waiting for Obama, according to Obama. In one of his rallies he reiterated this delusion of grandiosity and said, “We are the ones we’ve been waiting for.” This sentence is logically absurd. What actually Obama wanted to say, which he masked with fake modesty is “I am the one the world has been waiting for.” When you fall for someone to the extent that Obama’s followers have fallen for him, you surrender your reason and individuality to him willingly. When millions of people surrender their hearts and their minds to one person the result can be catastrophic. This is what happened in Germany with Hitler, in China with Mao, in the Soviet Union with Stalin, in Cuba with Castro, in Iran with Khomeini, and so on and so forth. Today, we think these men were monsters, but that was not what millions of their worshipers thought. Those people loved them. Dictators can’t dictate, unless peole are willing to be dictated. Here is what Wikipedia says about Cult of Personality: “A cult of personality or personality cult arises when a country’s leader uses mass media to create a heroic public image through unquestioning flattery and praise. Cults of personality are often found in dictatorships but can be found in some democracies.

Who is Obama? Obama is not an ordinary man. He is not a genius. In fact he is quite ignorant on most important subjects. Barack Obama is a narcissist. Dr. Sam Vaknin, the author of the Malignant Self Love, also believes, “Barack Obama appears to be a narcissist.” Vaknin is a world authority on narcissism. He understands narcissism and describes the inner mind of a narcissist like no other person. When he talks about narcissism everyone listens. Vaknin says that Obama’s language, posture and demeanor, and the testimonies of his closest, dearest and nearest suggest that the Senator is either a narcissist or he may have narcissistic personality disorder (NPD). Vaknin explains: “Narcissistic leaders are nefarious and their effects pernicious. They are subtle, refined, socially-adept, manipulative, possessed of thespian skills, and convincing. Both types [cerebral and somatic] equally lack empathy and are ruthless and relentless or driven.” These were the very traits that distinguished Hitler and Khomeini. Many of these traits can be seen in Obama. As for his ruthlessness, perhaps his support of legislation to let babies die if they survive abortion, gives a glimps into his soul, that he may lacks empathy, does not value life, and if in the position of power can be ruthless. Narcissists need power to show their ruthlessness. Considering the fact that Obama neglected his own half brother, George Hussein Obama, who lives on one dollar per month in Kenya, we can’t vouch for Obama’s empathy or say he is a caring person.

Narcissists seek power. That is the whole purpose of their existence. Power for them is the elixir of life. Those who know about NPD can’t help but notice it in Obama’s posture, the tone of his voice, his demeanor and particularly his grandiose claims and unscripted adlibs. Narcissim has degrees. When it is extreme it shows in the posture and the way the narcissist walks and talks. Obama’s posture, exudes haughtiness. He is all puffery. Compare his posture to those of Hitler, Stalin and Saddam. According to Vaknin, Obama displays the following behaviors, which are among the hallmarks of pathological narcissism: – Subtly misrepresents facts and expediently and opportunistically shifts positions, views, opinions, and “ideals” (e.g., about campaign finance, re-districting). These flip-flops do not cause him overt distress and are ego-syntonic (he feels justified in acting this way). Alternatively, refuses to commit to a standpoint and, in the process, evidences a lack of empathy. – Ignores data that conflict with his fantasy world, or with his inflated and grandiose self-image. This has to do with magical thinking. Obama already sees himself as president because he is firmly convinced that his dreams, thoughts, and wishes affect reality. Additionally, he denies the gap between his fantasies and his modest or limited real-life achievements (for instance, in 12 years of academic career, he didn’t publish a single scholarly paper or book). – Feels that he is above the law. – Talks about himself in the 3rd person singluar or uses the regal “we” and craves to be the exclusive center of attention, even adulation – Has a messianic-cosmic vision of himself and his life and his “mission”. – Sets ever more complex rules in a convoluted world of grandiose fantasies with its own language (jargon) – Displays false modesty and unctuous “folksiness” but is unable to sustain these behaviors (the persona, or mask) for long. It slips and the true Obama is revealed: haughty, aloof, distant, and disdainful of simple folk and their lives. – Sublimates aggression and holds grudges. – Behaves as an eternal adolescent (e.g., his choice of language, youthful image he projects, demands indulgence and feels entitled to special treatment, even though his objective accomplishments do not justify it). Narcissists project a grandiose but false image of themselves. Jim Jones, the charismatic leader of People’s Temple, the man who led over 900 of his followers to cheerfully commit mass suicide and even murder their own children was also a narcissist. David Koresh, Charles Manson, Joseph Koni, Shoko Asahara, Stalin, Saddam, Mao, Kim Jong Ill and Adolph Hitler are a few examples of narcissists of our time. All these men had a tremendous influence over their fanciers. They created a personality cult around themselves and with their blazing speeches elevated their admirers’ souls, filled their hearts with enthusiasm and instilled in their minds a new zest for life. They gave them hope! They promised them the moon, but alas, invariably they brought them to their doom. When you are a victim of a cult of personality, you don’t know it until it it too late.

Narcissists are manipulative and extremely resourceful. They know how to the play their game, and how to get what they want, by using others. Obama is the least experienced senator among the Democrats. His political views are the most foolish of them all. He opposed the surge in Iraq saying it will make the situation worse and he was wrong. He thinks the solution to terrorism is to sit with terrorist states without precondition and negotiate with them. When Russia invaded Georgia, all this genius did was to urge both sides to “exert restraint”. Everything this man has said so far reveals his ignorance in economical, political and military matters. Despite that, this junior senator has managed to rally the seasoned senators of the Democratic Party around himself and, not withstanding his ineptitude, he has emerged as the leader de facto of his party and their presidential candidate. This is a remarkable feat. One must never underestimate the manipulative genius of pathological narcissists. They project such an imposing personality that it overwhelms those around them. Charmed by the charisma of the narcissist, people become like clay in his hands. They cheerfully do his bidding and delight to be at his service. The narcissist shapes the world around himself and reduces others in his own inverted image. He creates a cult of personality. His admirers become his co-dependents.

Could all this phenomenal support and unbounded adulation erupt into violence? All the abuses and killings in Nazi Germany were done by the Germans, ordinary people who loved Hitler and believed in the glorious tomorrow that he was promising them. Hitler was insane, but those who did his bidding were not. Despite being smart, they did not hesitate to fulfill their fuehrer’s wishes and commit the most heinous crimes. The same thing happened in Iran. Ordinary people, once under the spell of Khomeini, acted like beasts. This is what happens when sane people follow insane people. Could the same happen in America? Why not? Look how millions of people literally worship Obama. With some people I cannot even talk about Obama. They cannot tolerate any criticism of him. They get angry and, not only they want to end the conversation but threaten to end the friendship. I am familiar with this kind of religious devotion to a person. The reaction that I get from Obama worshippers is similar to that of Muslims when their prophet is criticized. They are even prone to insult you. See how they overlook Obama’s blatant lies and are willing to forgive his major sins such as racism. Note how the mainstream media bends the rules, twists the facts, exaggerates Obama’s little virtues, absolves his sins, and even lies to sell him to the public.

The narcissist’s anger and intolerance is projected on his servile followers who also become angry and intolerant of criticism of their leader. Remember the sick symbiosis between the narcissist and his codependents? The followers get their narcissistic supply by elevating the status of their leader. The greater he looks, the better they feel. They see their glory is his glory. Conversely, when the narcissist is criticized, his followers become offended. They take those criticisms personally and their instinct of self defense is triggered. They will become vigilantes and will silence their critics through intimidation, bullying, mocking, threats and violence (like calling those who disagree with Obama, racists). This paragraph is a later addition. About a week after I wrote the above, Missouri sheriffs and top prosecutors formed Obama “Truth Squads” and threatened libel charges against Obama critics. I am no prophet, but see how my predictions are coming to pass. This is only the begining. Narcissists are intolerant of criticism and create a reign of terror to silence their critics. Please someone invite this Obama’s “Truth Squad” to respond to his article and silence me.

Vaknin writes: “Narcissists use anything they can lay their hands on in the pursuit of narcissistic supply. If God, creed, church, faith, and institutionalized religion can provide them with narcissistic supply, they will become devout. They will abandon religion if it can’t.” Therefore, the question whether Obama is a Muslim or a Christian, whether he is pro Palestine, as he has been all his life or whether he is pro Israel, whether he is a black supremacist or an agent of racial harmony, are moot. Obama is anything you want him to be and situation dictates. He takes the side that is more expedient to his cause. To communists he is a comrade, to Islamists he is their man, to Palestinian fighters he is their hope and to the Jews he is a staunch Zionist. The narcissist’s creed is himself. Everything else is negotiable. Obama will do and say anything as long as it suits him. He will embrace any cause, will align himself with anyone, and will shift his position wherever the wind blows. Narcissists are chameleons.

Obama’s election as the first black president of the Harvard Law Review led to a contract and advance to write a book about race relations. The University of Chicago Law School provided him with a fellowship and an office to work on his book. The book took him a lot longer than expected and at the end it devolved into…, guess what? His own autobiography! Instead of writing a scholarly paper focusing on race relations, for which, he had been paid, Obama could not resist writing about his most sublime self. He entitled the book Dreams from My Father . Not surprisingly, Adolph Hitler also wrote his own autobiography when he was still nobody. So did Stalin. For a narcissist no subject is as important as his own self. Why would he waste his precious time and genius writing about insignificant things when he can write about such an august being as himself?

Narcissists are often callous and even ruthless. As the norm, they lack conscience. This is evident from Obama’s lack of interest in his own brother who lives on only one dollar per month. A man who lives in luxury, who takes a private jet to vacation in Hawaii, and who has raised nearly half a billion dollars for his campaign (something unprecedented in history) has no interest in the plight of his own brother. Why? Because, his brother cannot be used for his ascent to power. A narcissist cares for no one but himself.

Narcissists can be very generous, but never without an ulterior motive. They are generous when their display of generosity is noticed and elevates them in the eyes of others. Obama donated $20,000 to his racist and anti-Semitic church, but neglected his brother who could get some education and live a lot better if only he had one dollar per day. Narcissism is all about image. Vaknin says, “The narcissist is shallow, a pond pretending to be an ocean. He likes to think of himself as a Renaissance man, a Jack of all trades. The narcissist never admits to ignorance in any field – yet, typically, he is ignorant of them all. It is surprisingly easy to penetrate the gloss and the veneer of the narcissist’s self-proclaimed omniscience.” Obama’s gaffes in history and world affairs are proof of that. This man does not even know the number of states in the USA, or that Canada does not have a president. That is why Vaknin says a narcissist is a shallow pond that pretends to be an ocean. Obama’s ignorance about what should be common knowledge is mind boggling.

Hitler was smart, and so is Obama. Hitler would not have become the monster he became had he not risen to power and had he not received so much narcissistic fodder to feed on. One man who saw Khomeini prior to rising to power recalled he would gently push flies out of his window, but would not kill them. The same man massacred tens of thousands of Iranians. It is power that brings madness out of the narcissist. America is at a crucial moment in its history. I cannot think of any disaster greater than putting a pathological narcissist in control of the world’s most powerful military machine. Narcissists are empty in substance but full on promises. Obama has not proposed a single concrete workable plan, but he has raised the hopes and expectations of millions of people with his promises. The glorious tomorrow that he offers is no more real than the Styrofoam Greek columns that adorned his image during his acceptance speech.

Today the Democrats have placed all their hopes in Obama. But this man could put an end to their party. The great majority of blacks have also decided to vote for Obama. Only a fool does not know that their support for him is racially driven. Brendan Farrington, reported, evidence indicates that some black Republicans are switching parties to vote for Obama. He wrote, “Florida has 81,512 more black Democrats compared to a loss of 784 black Republicans; Louisiana has 34,325 more black Democrats, while the number of black Republicans dropped by 907; North Carolina has 92,356 more black Democrats and 2,850 fewer black Republicans. The only three states that track voting registration by party and race show black Republican registration dropping slightly since the beginning of the year.” Let us call a spade a spade. This is racism, pure and simple. The truth is that while everyone carries a misconceived collective guilt towards the blacks for wrongs done centuries ago by a bygone people to a bygone people, the blacks carry a collective rancor, enmity or vendetta towards non-blacks and to this day want to “stand up” to the whiteman. They seem to be stuck in 19th century. The downside of this is that if Obama turns out to be the disaster I predict, he will cause widespread resentment among the whites. The blacks are unlikely to give up their support of their man. Cultic mentality is pernicious and unrelenting. They will dig their heads deeper in the sand and blame Obama’s detractors of racism. This will cause a backlash among the whites. The white supremacists will take advantage of the discontent and they will receive widespread support. I predict that in less than four years, racial tensions will increase to levels never seen since the turbulent 1960s. Obama will set the clock back decades. America is the bastion of freedom. The peace of the world depends on the strength of America, and its weakness translates into the triumph of terrorism and victory of rogue nations. It is no wonder that Ahmadinejad, Hugo Chavez, the Castrists, the Hezbollah, the Hamas, the lawyers of the Guantanamo terrorists and virtually all sworn enemies of America are so thrilled by the prospect of their man in the White House. Ayers: Radical loon when Obama was only 47

Back before the media realized it needed to lie about Obama launching his political career at Ayers’ house, the Los Angeles Times provided an eyewitness account from a liberal who attended the event.

“When I first met Barack Obama, he was giving a standard, innocuous little talk in the living room of those two legends-in-their-own-minds, Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn. They were launching him – introducing him to the Hyde Park community as the best thing since sliced bread.”

The Times has now stripped this item from its webpage, but the great blogger Patterico has preserved it for posterity on his webpage.

Ayers is such an imbecile, we ought to be amazed that he’s teaching at a university – even when you consider that it’s an ed school – except all former violent radicals end up teaching. Roughly 80 percent of former Weathermen are full college professors – 99 percent if you don’t include the ones killed in shoot-outs with the police or in prison – i.e., not yet pardoned by a Democratic president.

Any other profession would have banned a person like Ayers. Universities not only accept former domestic terrorists, but also move them to the front of the line.

But Obama thinks it’s a selling point to say that Ayers is a college professor.

Instead of teaching students reading
and writing, Ayers thinks they should be taught to rebel against America’s “imperialist” social structure. In 2006, Ayers was in Venezuela praising communist dictator Hugo Chavez, saying, “We share the belief that education is the motor-force of revolution.”

He has backed a line of schoolbooks such as one titled “Teaching Science for Social Justice.”

Forget about Ayers’ domestic terrorism when Obama “was 8 years old.” Does he agree with Ayers’ idiot ideas right now?

The American government now intends to manage Banks and Corporations by government decree. That is not the government that our founders set up under the Constitution of the United States. We are now under socialism. Socialism is where government owns and runs corporations.

Nevertheless, our government has proven that it cannot even manage itself. If it could it would not owe over $10 trillion with $50 trillion of unfunded liabilities bills coming due. So would any rational person think that the government will now manage corporations and banks better than the free enterprise system?

Basically we have just had a socialist coup in this nation. Whether you know it or not while you slept or were panicked by the news media you went from a free enterprise system to a form of state socialism.

Oh the CEO of Bank of America went on 60 minutes and said he thinks we will go back to some form of capitalism after the debts are paid back to the government in 3 to 5 years. That is wishful thinking. The debts will never be paid back to the government because the institutions run by the government will be regulated, restricted and forced to do costly stupid things like giving out loans to people who will never pay them back. Government regulation requiring the giving of loans to unqualified people is really part of the reason why we had this crises to start with. They will now continue to lose money and the government will keep spending more money and taking more control. In addition, you are electing socialists politicians that will now spread socialism to every aspect of our society. Karl Marx has taken over America from his grave. Now it looks like the American free enterprise system will join him there.

Make no mistake any return to constitutional government and the free enterprise system will not happen before the next American revolution. When the next crises hits (and it will) your personal liberties will also be taken from you by government decree. Our Constitution means nothing when nobody enforces it.

Don’t count on stock market rally

Corporate, personal and government debt totals, over the last two decades, have reached unsustainable levels. When a small portion of the debt known as “sub prime” went from the milk and honey of the money changers to toxic waste, the whole system froze and revealed just how vulnerable it was and continues to be.

There is no doubt we may have, for the moment, avoided a second great depression but at what price? And equally important how can any of the corporations being bailed out generate the profits necessary to pay back the borrowed money?

How can companies founded on a free market business model now survive, no less flourish, under government-controlled financial socialism?

They can’t. And most honest economists know it. But the citizens of the world don’t want to face the truth behind the systemic problems. They want and demand unbridled, uninterrupted growth and accumulation of personal wealth. Wealth that is created, in many cases, without work. Wealth that is guaranteed to never drop in value.

So the government has been assigned the task by many uneducated citizens of making everyone in the world rich.

Soon we will witness what any society that subscribes to the belief that wealth without work or risk is a birthright … inflation. That is the only formula that will perpetuate the welfare state. And now that state includes Wall Street bankers and investors.

The demand for continuation of the game will cause governments worldwide to print money faster than it can be spent. Helicopter Ben Bernanke will be loading the chopper with $100 bills dropping them over the population at large. Many will think it’s great! I can see the masses in the streets getting their “fair share” of the wealth. Even Sen. Barack Obama wants to “spread the wealth around.”

But $250 billion of the $805 billion ($105 billion added pork) TARP program will now buy direct equity in American banks and possibly banks around the world. The government is now an investor with the taxpayer as the guarantor. Soon government will be in health care, automobiles, aircraft and Lord knows what else.

If these new government investments happen to fail who will save us then? The taxpayer will have already been bled dry from stopping the current failure. Has anybody planned ahead for if and, more likely, when this occurs?

If any American at this point doesn’t see the lunacy of the current plan to “save” the system then they deserve the socialism they will receive. I for one have taken steps to protect my family from the government mismanagement that is sure to come. They have done such a good job running the country that we are now placing private business in their hands? Have we reached that level of irrational panic?

Liberty was sold this week for the promise of wealth and prosperity. Apparently two cars, a home, a fat 401k and a life of ease are much more important than freedom and liberty. Liberty is based on personal responsibility and Americans want all the reward without any responsibility. Wall Street fat cats included.

Your government has replaced the greatest free market capitalist system in the world, one based on risk and reward; with a completely socialist financial system with the government at its foundation. There is only one question left to ask. Who will have the power to pick the winners and losers?

This open letter by Lord Monckton of Britain is a truly outstanding rebuttal of Senator McCain’s speech on global warming and climate change. The letter should be force fed to all who believe in catastrophic anthropogenic climate change. They should have to hear the scientific facts because what they are promoting is extremely dangerous to everyone in the world.

Lord Monckton is the man who went to court to stop Al Gore’s film from being force fed to British school children.  He won the case when the Judge ruled that the film contained much false information. Schools in Britian now cannot indoctrinate children by forcing them to watch “An Inconvenient Truth” without also presenting a rebuttal to the film. Al Gore’s lying film simply cannot stand up in court or stand up to the scientific facts. Gore’s defense of his film is that the issue is settled. The issue is settled all right, there will be no catastrophic anthropogenic climate change. Gore will not even debate anyone with any scientific knowledge and still touts his science fiction as facts. Junk Science hype simply cannot stand up to peer reviewed science. Anyone who has an open mind can read hundreds of peer reviewed scientific reports that dispute the claims of catastrophic anthropogenic climate change.

If your ever going to read anything about all the falsehoods being fed to the public on global warming and wish to know the catastrophic effects that the implications of climate change legislation will have on the U.S. and on the world this is the article to read. It is a four part lengthy document just full of scientific facts that rebut the major arguments of the man made climate change theory.

This rebuttal should be read by all politicians and anyone who gets their information mainly from the mainstream media. The article below is a very thought provoking article. No rational nation should willfully take this risk and put itself in this position. Be it Hitler, Mao or Chavez the socialists often first get in power through a popular election. After that they change the nation to conform to their own image. Do you really think Obama will not attempt to do that? If so you are naive. American Thinker: What If Obama Doesn’t Have America’s Best Interests at Heart?

I have known many “players” in my life, notably in big corporations, who might have easily written, as Obama has, that they “serve as a blank screen on which people of vastly different political stripes project their own views.” All of them turned out to be the ones who truly did have malicious intent. They were the ones who were survival-of-the-fittest professionals, ready to adapt to any circumstance and say whatever had to be said in order to win the game. They were the ones who built careers on the backs of people of more substance but less savvy, people who were either forced or were willing to lie face-down and be walked on. They were the ones whose artful dishonesty came with eloquence and a smile, concealing designs that were, in the end, hardly conceivable as virtuous. Often — very often — they were completely unqualified to lead. Always they found majorities who loved them.

The reaction to Obama by the people of America is disturbing, to say the least. I have not seen anything quite like it in America. Ronald Reagan, for example, was also very popular, but his name evoked enthusiasm and, at his death, reverence. But never the sort of idolatry inspired by Obama. Even Obama’s detractors do not seem to loathe him, at least not in the way that they have loathed the Clintons or Gore or Kerry. I have heard more than one Republican say, “Well, if I have to put up with him for four or more years, at least he’s tolerable.” Obama’s mass appeal is uncommon and frightening.

So, I am now imagining a very real scenario — similar to what I have seen on a smaller scale in the corporate world — about to be played out on a national, and possibly global, level. Our country seems to be ready to put into the seat of power a man — good-looking, charismatic, silver-tongued, to be sure — who has almost no experience, has never served in an executive capacity, has barely held a real job, and has no record of success other than his remarkable campaign.

This is a man who in less than two years has arisen as a political messiah. He has mesmerized an emergent block of college-age voters (whose chief sources of information, by the way, are comedians). He has inspired “Obama youth” corps and Maoist-style choirs of praise. He has been dubbed “the One” by his Matrix-saturated worshippers. He has captured the hearts and minds of half of America, nearly all of the media, and most of the world itself.

If Obama is just another bumbling Democrat, who, armed with a lot of really bad policies, simply wants to do America proud, well, then, if elected, he will muddle through the next four to eight years trying to implement change, will be hindered by the American political system, will enervate liberals and thus energize conservatives, and, eventually, the tide will turn. Like the aftermath of a very disagreeable season, we will have weathered the storm, will survey the damage, and will send in the rescue teams to rebuild.

But then again: What if Obama doesn’t have America’s best interest at heart? What if his candidacy has to do with the willful and radical recreation of the country, one that embraces Marxist ideals, i.e., socialism in some form or another? What if the “change we can believe in” — the central theme of his campaign — is directed subversion of the Republic in favor of the sort of Utopian, collectivist state that radicals like Bill Ayers have been dreaming of since the Sixties?

Who needs revolution when one can use evolution? If Congress turns decidedly left, Obama will have a good chance to help the Supreme Court do the same. At that point, the Left’s idea of a “living” Constitution, which allows interpretation to supplant the process of amendment, will be used to make us all believers.

FP: What inspired you to write this book?

Anderson: A sense of growing concern that the Left—with some help from a handful of Republicans—is keen on shushing right-of-center political speech. America in 2008 enjoys a remarkable, historically unprecedented abundance of new and old media outlets for obtaining news, information, and entertainment—something we celebrate as “the media cornucopia.” Think about it: newspapers (still) and magazines (more in existence than ever before); radio and television both broadcast and cable and satellite; DVDs; and of course the wild, dazzling, endlessly mutating Internet. As I argued in an earlier book, South Park Conservatives, this cornucopia has allowed viewpoints long downplayed or excluded in the mainstream, including conservative and libertarian ideas, to get a much wider public hearing, especially via political talk radio and the blogosphere.

Many people—incumbent politicians in general, but above all the political Left—hate this profusion and are keen to contain it, pare it back, get rid of it. Our book documents the most dangerous regulatory measures being brewed up in Washington, or already in place, to do this: a new Fairness Doctrine, or regulatory analogue; “network neutrality”; and the extension of campaign finance restrictions to cover media. The book tries to alert Americans to a danger to their political liberties and explain, in a clear a way as possible, the way complex media regulations work in practice in ways that have profound political implications.

FP: Overall, what do you think is new and fresh about your book and what do you hope it will achieve?

Anderson: I think our book is the first to explain, in as clear and systematic a way as possible, the extent of the threat to political speech being cooked up in Washington as we do this interview—and with the prospect of an Obama presidency and a Democratic Congress, the time is now to understand what’s at stake and fight back. It is also encourages conservatives to embrace media freedom rather than pursue their own regulatory crusades on things like cleaning up cable television. The Right has benefited hugely from the proliferation of outlets and media in recent years and should recognize that fact.

I don’t normally post movie reviews but “An American Triumph” grounded in Judeo-Christian ethic sounds like a movie that is a lot of fun. Especially since it exposes the Far Left for the demented people they are and it is also gives them a taste of there own medicine.

The plot revolves around a retelling of the Scrooge story, this time on Independence Day. A leftist documentary filmmaker named Michael Malone (Kevin Farley) plots, with MoveAlong.org, to abolish the Fourth of July. Soon, he is visited by three spirits who show him what the world would be like if the United States had never waged war. While hostile critics will call it an apology for warmongering, it cannot be stereotyped with such a simplistic, not to mention inhuman, message. One film soldier tells protestors he, too, opposes war, but it is sometimes inevitable. The film’s true message is that there is evil in the world, and it must be opposed by moral good backed by might.

This moral clarity, grounded in the Judeo-Christian ethic, may alone explain why such movies are never made in Hollywood.

However, the real attraction is not the message but the jokes. The trailer does not do the film justice. Producer David Zucker did the audience a favor by not making a conservative film with jokes but a comedy that happens to be conservative. Suicide bombers as a whole are made the object of scorn. One of the terror leaders remarks, “It is getting harder and harder to find suicide bombers, and all the really good ones are gone.” Muslim sexual morés also take a grazing hit. The al-Qaeda recruiting video, done in the style of 1950s and ‘60s educational film strips, is not to be missed. By far the funniest moment is the screening of Rosie O’Connell’s documentary about radical Christians, which makes reference to an Episcopalian suicide bomber.

Perhaps this points to the movie’s most politically consequential motif: it fittingly depicts, in a comic format, how the radical Left has moved into the mainstream of the Democratic Party. In the film, Malone introduces former president Jimmy Carter at a MoveAlong.org rally, just as Michael Moore shared the real-life Carter’s box at the 2004 Democratic National Convention, and as Al Gore made his post-9/11 political rebound bellowing red-faced rants at MoveOn.org rallies. For making this point, this author has himself been parodied (but not nearly as well as this ensemble does the Left).

Dr. Ted Baehr wrote a good movie review of Bill Maher’s new demented move called “Religulous”. What should anyone expect from Bill Maher. Anyone who has ever listened to Bill Maher ought to know that He is one demented demonic sick puppy who cannot help but let everyone know about it.

Why would anyone think a demented mind mocker like Maher could know anything about Christianity or religion? Bill Maher is a prime example of a demonic person full of their own self enlightenment. The only thing this move will prove is that some people will watch anything in the theaters these days. Of course Bill Maher richly deserves my Demented Delusional or Dumb Club award for his unique contribution to foolishness.

“Religulous,” comedian Bill Maher’s new movie attacking Christianity and religion, is full of lies, half-truths, false assumptions, logical contradictions and fallacies, distortions, intolerance, prejudice, bigotry, arrogance, ignorance, and hypocrisy. Opening Oct. 3, the movie is a pathetic propaganda piece that will warp the hearts and minds of the gullible and the ignorant. It is also very poorly researched and argued.

At the end, Maher launches into a diatribe comparing all religious leaders and believers, including President George Bush, to evil and ignorant Muslim terrorists. After making that overbroad generalization, Maher angrily denounces people of faith for being too certain and too judgmental. He then tells them that it is actually more “humble” to acknowledge doubts and belief in God and religion, like he does.

It is telling that none of the Christians Maher talks to in “Religulous,” not even Father Coyne, actually makes their living as professional biblical scholars or history scholars, much less as professional Christian debaters. Thus, all the alleged evidence that Maher summons against Christianity and religious faith in his movie is about as empirically and logically one-sided and invalid as you can possible get!

Of course, at the same time Maher accuses his opponents of these nasty things, he is doing the same things that he just accused them of doing. Maher’s tirade is not only logically self-contradictory, and, hence, irrational, it is also hypocritical. Instead of pointing fingers at religious people, especially Christians, Maher needs to look at himself in the mirror!
