I understand why people would be pissed because the police killed a teen but the two police officers involved have been charged by the government, one with murder. So, why would this produce four days of rioting and looting across Greece and Crete? I understand this shooting happened in a seedy area that is occupied by low life drug users and liberal anarchists who want no police presence. So now the anarchists across Greece and Crete have united and are using this Greek tragedy as an excuse to riot and loot. Excuse me, but what in the world do you anarchists expect to accomplish by burning and looting the property of innocent people? You are burning the same businesses that you will need to function as a society. What kind of whacked out minds destroy their own nest?

While I am on the subject, anarchists are pretty common in Europe in general. What is it that these rebels want? By definition it means they want no government. How then would you liberal anarchists get your welfare and drug money? The anarchists want a nation where everyone does what is right in their own eyes. Who then would protect the innocent and the weak from all the predators like you anarchists? Even the way your going about how you can achieve anarchy is not logical. You really think that attacking government is going to bring you more freedom? If you did not already have a large degree of freedom you would be in no position to attack government. Try rioting and looting in North Korea and see what happens.

So do you really think that these riots will bring you the freedom from government that you want? It will really bring a demand for law and order from the Greek people on your necks. So in the end with your lawlessness you are destroying the freedom that you want. The Greeks or the European people are not going to sit around and watch anarchists burn down their homeland unless they are suicidal and if most of you in Europe are now suicidal the rest of you better learn to bow to Mecca when the music plays. Three successive nights of widespread burning and looting have left stores and buildings gutted across Athens, and serious damage in Greece’s other main cities. The widely televised scenes of destruction are likely to further undermine a conservative government already rocked by financial scandals and clinging to a razor-thin majority of just one seat in the 300-member Parliament.

“No one has the right to use this tragic incident as an alibi for actions of raw violence, for actions against innocent people, their property and society as a whole, and against democracy,” he said after an emergency meeting with the country’s president, Karolos Papoulias.

Within hours of the boy’s death, riots erupted in cities across Greece, from Thessaloniki in the north to cities in Crete and the holiday island of Corfu. By early Tuesday, hundreds of stores, cars, banks and buildings in about a dozen cities had been torched, smashed or looted.

The worst violence occurred late Monday when gangs of masked and hooded youths screaming “Cops! Pigs! Murderers!” set up burning barricades across city streets and fought pitched street battles with riot police firing volleys of tear gas.

The insane foreign policy of Clinton and Bush toward North Korea just might cause the rise of another major nuclear power in the world. Japan could be a nuclear superpower in a few years after they make a decision to go nuclear. Japan has a large amount of plutonium, they have the rockets and they know how to build nukes.

North Korea has been playing us the fool for decades and our leadership will do anything to be in the good graces of the “Dear Leader” of North Korea even though allowing North Korea to retain nuclear weapons threatens our friends. This sham operation on their reactor does not reduce N. Korea’s nuclear capabilities one bit yet we took them off the state terrorist list even though they recently gave nuclear material to Syria and who knows who else.

Now it appears that we will treat them like friends until the next time they stab us in the back. Their murderous human rights abuses alone should keep them right on top of the list of terrorists nations. This is more of the same liberal postmodernism that believes that there are no evil people we just need to talk to them and find common ground and they will come around and see the light. We have a State Department full of nincompoops who have drunk the Kool-Aid of the “Dear Leaders” cult nation!

Allowing a nuclear North Korea puts us under constant danger of an EMP attack ourselves and the threat of North Korea exporting their nuclear material to other terrorist nations or groups. People who put Japan and ourselves under this risk should be locked up in a rubber room where they cannot harm anyone. If our loony foreign policies decisions result in a nuclear Japan we might as will give up on nuclear non-proliferation. Then each nation can prepare its own nukes for the certain doomsday that will come.

Japan is furious because the Bush administration, in its dying days, has done exactly what it accused the Clintonites of doing—rewarding North Korea for bad behavior. Why? Because the North Koreans are masters of brinkmanship, blackmail and extortion. They have exploited Bush’s need for a foreign policy “legacy.”

We have seen this movie before. North Korea has just “sold” its nuclear reactor at Yongbyon for the third time since 1994, and for an even higher price. In return for the usual promises that North Korea will dismantle Yongbyon, the United States will provide even more fuel aid than under the 1994 and 2007 agreements.

With North Korea now removed from the State department’s list of states that sponsor terrorism, it will be eligible for direct U.S. aid, as well as international loans and other benefits. The United States also expects Japan to help pay for this new agreement.

But Japan is balking. Indeed, it has reason to fear that the North Koreans, once they have pocketed these concessions, will present other demands. These might include a “nonaggression pact” with America and a “peace treaty” that will include the removal of remaining U.S. forces from South Korea.

And what of America’s previous insistence that North Korean “denuclearization” be complete, verifiable and irreversible? Gone, but covered by a fig leaf. North Korea will not be required to own up to its uranium-enrichment program, hidden underground. Nor will it be required to give up the six to a dozen nuclear weapons that it has already built. And North Korea won’t be held to account for its proliferation of fissile material to places such as Syria and Iran.

I have more than once said that this would happen. North Korea has been getting freebies from America for 15 years to stop their nuclear development and has done nothing but make nukes. You cannot deal with madmen. If you read this article you will see even after the 11 disablement measures are actually taken (they have been halted) it would only take North Korea only about a year to start the facilities up again (what a great deal!). Not to even mention the secret uranium project that North Korea has that is still making nuclear material that no one is talking about or the nuclear bombs it already has made for export. So the North Koreans found ways to backed out of all the deals and have make fools out of both the Clinton Administration and the Bush Administration. North Korea now hopes to take on what they know will even be a more foolish Obama Administration.

The U.S. State Department continues to be run by liberals and is in denial all over the world. They are just as loony with Iran. There is an old saying. Fool me once and shame on you, fool me twice and shame on me, fool me three times and I should get the Olympic gold metal for foolishness. Does anyone in our government know that North Korea has EMP capabilities? Does anyone care? And Rice thinks Russia will take anything we say on George or elsewhere seriously?

Maybe the world should reward the North Koreans with the Olympics and just pretend that they are such a wonderful free nation like they did with Communist China. The North’s announcement marks the emergence of the biggest hurdle yet to the communist nation’s denuclearization process under a landmark deal last year and is expected to escalate tension in the nuclear talks involving China, Japan, the two Koreas, the US and Russia.

Pyongyang’s Foreign Ministry said it suspended the disablement work at the reactor and other facilities at its Yongbyon nuclear complex as of August 14 because the US did not keep its promise to delist Pyongyang as a terror sponsor under last year’s deal.

The ministry also said the country will “consider soon a step to restore” the Yongbyon nuclear facilities, but did not elaborate.

Yang Moo-jin, a professor at Seoul’s University of North Korean Studies, called Tuesday’s statement “very serious” and said that it could mean Pyongyang may have decided not to deal with the administration of US President George W. Bush.

South Korean and US officials have said eight of the 11 disablement measures have been finished and that when the entire disablement is completed, it would take at least a year for the North to restart the facilities.

As Jasper Becker writes in his book Rouge Regime, “a death toll of 3 million would mean more victims than in Pol Pot’s Cambodia . . . if 15 percent of [North Korea's] population died, then the death toll, in proportion to the country, surpasses any comparable disaster in the 20th Century.”

Former Soviet dissident Natan Sharansky has written that “the international community should never trust a state more than it trusts its own people.” If this is a proper standard, then one should not expect any good to come from our current “breakthrough” with Kim Jong Il’s hellish regime.

Why Bush would deal with a mad man is a mystery only known to himself and the mad people running our State Department. I will want to hear the story one day but I fear it might be an advanced case of what Ronald Regan got or some kind of coup d’état. Otherwise, it is very difficult to understand the radical change in Bush in the last few years. Nothing is said about North Korea’s secret Uranium enrichment program that may continue to produce fissionable material. Now we are going to lift all sanctions and embargoes like they actually did something good and just turn a blind eye to the fact they just tried to give Syria what it takes to make a nuke. If that does not make North Korea a terrorist state I do not know what does. Thanks to Israel that plan was stopped but who knows what is going on in the slimy little demented mind of Kim Jong III?.

It now turns out that the options the U.S. had been contemplating were designed not to punish North Korean duplicity but to encourage it. So it is that, despite its recent collaboration with Hezbollah-sponsor Syria – to say nothing of its intent, in the run-up the Iraq war, to sell $10 million worth of medium-range missiles to Saddam Hussein for use against coalition troops – North Korea no longer will be designated a terrorist state. Never mind that the country has yet to come clean about its nuclear program. In the eyes of the Bush administration, North Korea has been given a clean slate.

And legitimacy. Notwithstanding its defiance of every nuclear treaty it has ever signed – a habit of violation that continues in its latest declaration, which reportedly discusses only plutonium processing activities and not the uranium enrichment and nuclear capabilities that were supposed to have been declared – North Korea is being treated as a credible partner in negotiations instead of the extortionist state that it clearly is. Fool the Bush administration once, the lesson appears to be, and you wind up in the “axis-of-evil.” Fool it repeatedly, and all is forgiven.

As always with North Korea, there are token concessions. To demonstrate its sincerity, Pyongyang has invited foreign TV crews to broadcast its demolition of the cooling tower at the notorious Yongbyon nuclear plant. It promises to be quite the affair, though one would have to be really taken in by spectacle to forget that the plant was already supposed to be completely disabled in the 1990s and, more recently, by the end of 2007. Nor will the made-for-the-cameras moment prove that North Korea has nothing to hide. The facility at Yongbyon is believed to have been shuttered last year, having already produced enough weapons-grade plutonium to build, by some estimates, at least nine nuclear bombs. To see the destruction of this Potemkin reactor as a sign of genuine progress is to yield to illusion.

Here is a perfect picture of a nation run by elitist socialist control freaks. The government says that they are parents and the people are like children. So how do they treat their children? They kick them out of cyclone relief shelters, reject foreign aid and tell them to go eat frogs.

At some point the world is going to have to do something about these monsters that get total control of whole nations like we see now in Myanmar, North Korea and other places.

Why would they want rice? wondered the military regime.

After several days of praising the work of the United Nations and charities, the regime’s official newspaper renewed its attacks on foreign aid and insisted Burmese could survive without outside help.

“The government and the people are like parents and children,” the paper said. “We, all the people, were pleased with the efforts of the government.”

“Myanmar (Burmese) people are capable enough of rising from such natural disasters even if they are not provided with international assistance,” the newspaper said.

“Myanmar people can easily get fish for dishes by just fishing in the fields and ditches,” the paper said. “In the early monsoon, large edible frogs are abundant.”

“The people (of the Irrawaddy delta) can survive with self-reliant efforts even if they are not given chocolate bars from (the) international community,” it added.

No aid agencies are known to have provided chocolate bars to victims of Cyclone Nargis.

Mr. Bush was reportedly told last week by his Director of National Intelligence, Adm. Mike McConnell, that the U.S. intelligence community does not believe the regime in Pyongyang will denuclearize and that it will, instead, simply cheat on this deal as on all the previous ones. Does all this make Carter evil, or just a useful idiot? By all accounts, Carter is highly intelligent – perhaps the most intelligent president of the last 50 years. It would be foolish to write him off as simply naive. He is quite willing to be used by dictators from Venezuela to Cuba to North Korea, so long as helping them polishes his legacy. For almost three decades, Carter has pandered to enemies of Western Civilization, shielding his treasonous behavior with the title of “ex-president.” His Hamas-hugging is just the latest entry in a political diary that would make Osama bin Laden proud.
