Almost all the polls say Trump is losing the 2020 election by a wide margin. There is oversampling of Democrats in most polls but I have little reason to believe that all of these polls could be wrong. Even so, people being polled might just be telling the callers what they think they want to hear. There is a lot of that going around today. Nobody wants to become a target of the social justice mob. This tells me that over half of Americans publicly side with the Democrats because they think this is the safest position to take. For example, the vast majority of “Christians” actually claim people achieve heaven by doing more good works in their lives than bad. They also think other religions can lead to salvation. They deny essentials of the faith like the virgin birth, that Jesus led a sinless life, and paid and died for their sins. Many even deny that Jesus was God. More than half in a recent survey said they believe Jesus was the first created being.

America now finds herself in a mess for good reason. In just one lifespan there was a transformation of America from what was honorable to the perverse.)

The 1950’s and early 60’s certainly were far from perfect, but most people in America led fairly honorable lives back then. The mid 60’s were the very last of the Happy Days of Richie Cunningham. That TV program and programs like the Andy Griffith Show or Ozzie and Harriet were not that far off the mark for small town America.

Bible prophecy has been of great interest to me since 1973 but until 1999 I only discussed it with friends. Back in the seventies and eighties I was hoping that the Lord’s coming would not be later than what Hal Lindsey and Jack Van Impe were projecting (before 1988). After that date came and went, I started thinking that the tribulation should start around 1993 or 2000. That was mostly based on Grant Jeffery’s timelines. I drove my friends nuts parroting his speculations.

By the mid 1990’s, I no longer had all my apples in the 2000 cart. As much as I did not want to believe it could be so long, I said if these events did not take place around 2000 they probably would not occur until around 2030.… continue reading
