And like the German media, the EU always has to pretend that it will not become another European Empire, when it shows every sign of morphing into exactly that. Like the Soviet Union, the EU is loudly proclaimed to be the greatest hope for eternal peace on earth — even as Europe is once again threatened by Islamic aggression. So there is a fundamental mendacity and self-deception about European discourse today. “

About 110 years ago Germany was passing the British Empire in industrial production and the Brits were concerned. They had a secret military treaty with France that neither the Kaiser nor Franz Joseph knew about. The Brits and Germans were Anglo-Saxon brothers yet stumbled into war against each other in WWI which became WWII after the vindictive Treaty of Versailles was fabricated. If Wilson hadn’t tricked us into WWI it would have ended in a stalemate. If Winston had allowed Danzig to return to Germany maybe the Germans would’ve taken care of communist Russia and we might’ve avoided the Cold War. Now the Germans are watching us destroy the world’s reserve currency and expand the American Empire into Libya. Bottom line? Fallen man needs a benevolent world dictator and He’s coming soon.
