Perils of Pakistan will lead to World War III
Perils of Pakistan - - The Washington Times, America’s Newspaper: “With Taliban and al Qaeda sanctuaries now secure in the foothills of the Hindu Kush, the NATO campaign to whittle down Taliban’s guerrilla units in Afghanistan could last for years. But those doing the fighting with U.S. units — Canadian, British and Dutch contingents — were beginning to lose political and public opinion support at home. Logistics were costly, with no end in sight. What they originally thought might be a two- to three-year peacekeeping commitment could now take five to 10 more years. The Afghan army, according to a Canadian assessment, won’t be able to manage security till 2015. Even German, French and Italian units, stationed in relatively peaceful zones far from the Afghan border, could feel growing reluctance on their respective home fronts to keep them there. The narco-state stigma also rankled opposition politicians in Berlin, Paris and Rome. But opium is critical to the Afghan economy. Gen. Sir David Richards, who commanded the Afghan mission until last February, said, ‘there are too few troops to conduct the operation in a manner that meets the basic rules of a counterinsurgency campaign’ and that ‘we need a doubling of forces — and probably a lot more than that — if we are to achieve minimum goals.’ That would double the 41,000-strong NATO force to more than 80,000. The future of NATO hangs in the balance.”
Its beginning to look like the beginnings of a World War III. NATO and India will be fighting Islamofascism from Syria to Pakistan. I think they will try to hold things together but they will not succeed. It fits prophetically because Islamofascism must be defeated before there can be any peace treaty for Israel and the Antichrist to confirm.

What’s democracy going to change in Pakistan? Nothing. Once they have it they’re just going to elect the Jihadis and you’re back to square one. Some people just don’t want liberal democracy. And true Islam is incompatible with it. Why can’t the West just accept that for a fact and stop the drivel. Right now the issue is not whether or not Pakistan gets a democracy or not but whether those nukes fall into the hands of anti-Western jihadis or not.
correction: Right now the issue should be whether or not the Pakistani nukes fall into the hands of anti-Western jihadis.
I doubt if India would dare allow that to happen. If radicals were taking over the nuke sites I think India would first strike all of Pakistan’s nuclear facilities. Or we would…or at least we would send special forces to take them out.
I doubt if the Pakistan military is suicidal so I see the military retaining control over the nukes no matter who is in political power. They probably will destroy the nukes before they would let the radicals bring nuclear destruction on Pakistan.
Of course there is always the chance that the military would decide to first strike India rather than lose the nukes.
