Of course it does Bill.

But the abuses of the Royal Family help create the radicals. The royals are now funding the radicals to appease them or because they agree with them. I do not think the problems will just go away if the Royal Family is gone but right now they are the only ones in Saudi Arabia with the power to do anything about the situation. We need to give them proper motivation to become our ally on this war against radical Islam instead of acting like they are our ally while they continually subvert us.

I agree very good input.

I think Europe will have to face the facts sooner rather than later. I also hear that the nations of Europe that really matter are now moving toward the right. If it continues and McCain gets elected I can see a joint war to get rid of all the radicals from Egypt to Pakistan with many regional secular governments supporting the effort at least secretly. That is the only way there can be peace in this area of the world. Expect a crack down on radicals throughout Europe as well.

From this will emerge the rise of Iraq and a new Babylonian empire to fulfill Bible prophecy. If they become pro western they just may be allowed to take over or become allied with Saudi Arabia. After Iran's nuclear program is destroyed they probably will become an ally of Russia setting the stage for the Gog Magog war of Ezekiel that most likely is still a decade or two down the road.

Iraq and the Saudis are not mentioned as coming with Gog against Israel and the Saudis even question Gog's intent. I think after the war on the fundamentalists we will see a rapid shift of all religion toward universalism and then the end time stage will be totally set. for what is described in Revelation..

Very well said and good article. It is indeed true that perhaps more than Iran, the Saudis or at least the Saudi gov't is the problem. But I suspect it's going to be difficult to get out of this awkward situation on your own. I don't really see it happening soon. Many European and other nations are seeking to establish better and closer relations with the KSA, especially in the face of the Iranian threat. I doubt if many countries would like to see the U.S. turn against its so-called "ally" right now. 9/11 really opened pandora's box. We're in the midst of an ideological clash. A lot of our own corrupt and insane attitudes are now becoming apparent as we engage in a fight against "evil." Are we going to do something about our hypocrisy and double standards? If not, the war on islamic terror is surely fought in vain.

If a war with Iran comes about soon and the country's establishment is paralyzed then I assume that might lead to a stable and wealthy Iraq. Assuming Iran has a regime change into a more liberal and moderate direction, then Iraq may folow the same path and may prove to be a more reliable Western ally and oil exporting nation than the KSA. That way Saudi power and influence may diminish without having to intervene militarily. But in the meantime I think that the U.S. should continue to fight the Mahdi army and cut off the head of the snake which is Muqtada al-Sadr.

I also agree that the U.S. really should cut the crap and get real with those Saudi and other Gulf "ally" sheikhs that sponsor extremism worldwide and keep considering another important U.S. ally, Israel, as an enemy. But the question is whether European and other nations will follow. Many countries should face the fact that a lot of the extremism from Muslims in their countries is due to the Saudis funding the constructions of mosques and all sorts of Islamic studies to further the spread of their religion and expand their influence. But the reality is some European countries like the Netherlands even recognize and subsidize salafist imams and mosques themselves! How are you going to persuade them to give up on that? After all that's been caused in Europe thanks to Islamic extremism funded by the Saudis, we simply prefer to act as if nothing is happening. The President of the European Commission Barroso today even said we should accept Islam as being part of Europe.

The U.S. hypocrital? Sure. But compared to the U.S., the European nations are, excuse me for the language, whores.
