America will become like Sodom and Gomorrah if Christians do nothing
What Janet says in this article and her book is going to come to pass if “Christians” do not stop the anti Christian hate speech agenda. Those who love their sins will criminalize anything in Christianity that offends them. If you help elect Obama with his support of hate speech and thought-crime agendas and his stand that is contrary to the Bible on many issues you will have brought it on yourself. Also, if you elect that Liberal to the house or the Senate you will have brought it on yourself.
You can say we are working class, blacks, Catholics etc and we always voted democrat but you had better wake up and realize that this is no longer the party of your daddy. The democrats now represent all anti Christian values. You can’t say you wasn’t warned and that jail cell will not have your name on it it will just have your number.
Or will you just comply with their new laws like Lot and watch your children and grand children and everyone you know join the practices of Sodom and Gomorrah. Be aware that only Lot and his two unmarried daughters escaped the destruction. Where was the rest of his family and all his servants?

You’re a “quiet Christian” who thinks you’ll be safe if you just lie low? That’s exactly what will close your business or your church. Whether you rent rooms like the Knights of Columbus, who were fined $1,000 for not using their facilities to participate in a homosexual “marriage” reception, or are a printer like Scott Brockie, who was fined $5,000 and slapped with $170,000 in legal fees because he didn’t want to print homosexual materials, or the Canadian pastor told to deny his faith and denounce his pro-marriage stand, the ONLY way to keep your freedom is to use it now.
When the church was persecuted in England and Europe, our Founding Fathers came to America for freedom. People still build boats from scrap wood to try to come here for a glimpse of it. America is the last, best hope of the world. If we lose, there is nowhere else to go.
This is not the time for a “protest” vote. And forget about a third party. Because if Barack Obama is elected, with his thought-crimes agenda and support of the redefinition of marriage, the change we see won’t look anything like America.

You all need to realize that God is in control. now chill.
God is in control of the earth but some people are out of control and they should be warned of the consequences. If Christians continue to chill as they have been they will see persecution in this nation. Because God is in control and He will discipline His people.
God is ultimately in control, but temporarily his believers have been placed “in control” in the sense that they have the authority of the name of Jesus. If they do not use it, then God is not “in control”. It’s just that simple.
Oh, I forgot. This country is finished. I hope youve found a way to prepare yourself and others for some very disastrous times. Almost here.
I believe that no matter what the sin, over eating, drug / alchohal abuse, judging others, that the consequences on earth will be severe enough. God will forgive, people often won’t even dream of it.
I believe America is the new Sodom and Gomorrah. When I hear same sex people say ” this is ok with God because God is pure love.” I shake my head. I don’t know where in the Bible they come up with this. I know it says he is an angry, vengeful, just, loving and forgiving God but not pure one or the other. What he is is pure emotions. Had the Apostles preached then like preachers do now they still be alive today. Lets make it real. If I walked into a room and found my two son having sex with each other, They’d be lucky to make it to the front door before I took them out of this world. Well God openned the door and beheld the entire City of Sodom. I’d say 90% of our country nolonger believes in God. Women have rights and authority over men. Devorce is legal and excepted. Because women have recieved so much power we’ve given them an absolute right to kill God’s unborn children. People justify these things by saying we live in a different time and the Bible was written for that time. Hello what does that have to do with same sex and killing children. It’s simple, most don’t believe in the Father, and the others have been listening to preachers saying he’s forgiveness and love. None of these preachers have the guts to speak the Truth, and tell their congrigations that most of them aren’t going to make it through the gate. Those are the words of Jesus. The gate is narrow. This is why the Apostles are dead. noone wanted to hear it.. We don’t fear God. If you don’t fear the Gun how can you respect the Gun.

With all do respect, you sound more like the person you are describing God to be: angry, vengful…pure emotions, etc..
That’s not the God I know from reading the Bible; it’s not the God whose Spirit is in my being (according to His promise in scripture).
You are describing a caricature of God that sounds more like the typical human.
The “god” who is pure-emotion as you describe, is also the one who designed all the sub-atomic particles and arranged everything that you can perceive AND holds it all together. Such a being is infinitely bigger than we are in a respects we can conceive.
Scripture was written by God as He inspired his people. That is, one mind authored the Bible even though a number of people actual wrote the words. This God is a person, but not in a way that is less than us, rather our personalities in all their richness are as shadows to the One person in whose image we are created.
Honestly Daniel, you sound like you know a lot *about* God, but you don’t sound like you know Jesus personally. Jesus hates sin just as the Father and Spirit do, BUT God would much rather redeem fallen people than destroy them. I know that He would not want you to “take-out” people you believe to be sinning. (Also, I would point-out that the sin of homosexuality is no “worse” than that of divorce or stealing, or improperly-handled anger (such as you seem to be demonstrating in your post) – each of these things is sin and each brings death.) Justice has already been served: Jesus took the punishment and wrath of God due to each of us – we are responsible to accept this gift of forgiveness. God will give to each of His creation what they truly want: to those who really want Him, they will enjoy Him forever in Heaven; those who want nothing to do with God, will exist eternally separated from Him (and the rest of redeemed creation).
Perhaps you *do* know Jesus personally, then I would humbly ask that you consider the way you look at others who need our prayers and pity rather than our condemnation. Homosexually may disgust you, but it’s a tragic problem that goes far deeper into a person than simply who they want to copulate with – it’s a profound issue of their identity as humans – that’s why it’s so hard to reach them with God’s truth. Attitudes such as you have displayed in your post drive these people immeasurably further from God than their own sin does! We are to speak the truth in love, not in anger or hated; we are to hate the sin, but love the sinner – these things let the healing balm of the Gospel penetrate seared hearts.
If you don’t know Jesus personally, then much of what I just wrote won’t resonate with you, but if you ask God with a sincerely-open mind to help you understand who and what He is from the scripture, then He will do this. He *wants* you to know Him personally and has expended all kinds of effort to make this possible. I was once skeptical about this very thing, but in order to remain intellectually honest, I had to humble myself to start reading the Bible and ask God (if He even existed) to make the scriptures alive and clear to me. Could it be possible that you are assuming what God is like without actually learning this for yourself by reading the Bible with an open mind and sincere desire to learn the truth and seek God. God will be found by anyone who really wants Him; He often hides himself from people who think they already have all the answers and who really don’t want any part of Him.
I know Jesus personally and I know He wants to know you that way too Daniel!
Yeah, God gave his Son to pay for ALL the sins of the world. Now is the time for all sinners to find His mercy in Jesus Christ. The real mortal danger is rejecting this free gift of grace from God. Let the saved tell the world this good news, its the great commission for the saved and it is why we are still here.
Sinners cannot stop being sinners before they are regenerated into the Body of Christ nor should we Christians expect them to.
