This word Babylon is not talking about Rome, Mesapotamia, This is talking about a Godless world-system that entices and allures people and christian's away from Christ. Who is Babylon? No reason to think they would not do that in the future. They also receive far less judgment in the tribulation because they apparently repent. Someone has to control all this area after the Arabs are defeated and I cannot see Israel doing it by themselves with a few million people. After the war western influence will be strong in the whole MU area and I just see Egypt and Iraq going with the flow in order to become very prosperous. I do think Israel will be given the regional oversight by the MU. You say Muslims and Jews will not mix but after the religious wars against Islam and other fundamentalism the only religious allowed on earth will be those that have modified their theology to teach religious pluralism and universalism. There could never be peace and security before the next war of Ezekiel 38 and 39 if Jews and Muslims were not at that time living at peace The war of Ezekiel 38 and 39 is not a religious war. And when people start pointing that out, they'll be labeled malcontents, keeping people out of work or trying to hinder the Obamessiah from bringing prosperity back to the U.S.A.
