Walid Shoebat requests Bill O’Reilly of Fox news to allow Sean Osborne to appear as Pin-Head of the year.

I just added a new blog on my sidebar called “Eschatology Today”. The Blog is written by Sean Osborne who is a military man who studied Bible prophecy for decades. Sean is also Associate Director of the popular Northeast Intelligence Network
http://www.homelandsecurityus.com

I have also been in the military or associated with the military defense establishment for almost two decades. I know most of our career military men are no nonsense straight shooting people and realists. Most love America and hate to see what is now happening to our nation. Many are God fearing true patriots and true American heroes. If civilians had half the integrity of most of our military people the problems in America would be largely solved.

So since Sean Osborne is one of these Christian American patriots who is well educated in world current events and Bible prophecy I am proud to add a link to his blog. However, telling you that is not the reason for this post. I read what was on Sean’s blog and you will simply have to read this post yourself to believe what came out of Walid Shoebat’s mouth.

The post mentions Prophezine and Ray Gano as well. I had a link to Ray Gano’s Prophezine until they started charging for almost all of their information. That really turned me off. It even made me write the following:

“Any Christian website teaching ministry that charges people to get access to most of their information is like a church that charges at the door. It is like a missionary who charges the poor natives for the Gospel. Call it a business but do not call it a ministry! There really are other ways to get needed funding. Christian websites can advertise and sell things and they can ask for donations. Those who require us to pay to view obviously do not care that the vast majority of people in the world cannot afford to pay their price for the information they provide”.

The real reason for this post is because of what I found on the Eschatology Today site about a letter that Shoebat requested Ray Gano email to Sean Osborne. You simply have to read it, also read the follow-up comments.

One of the problems I have had with some of the new “Bible prophecy teachers” that are redefining Christian eschatology is that they are very young or new converts who simply do not have much knowledge and understanding of the Bible and they often lack maturity in the Lord. We see the lack of maturity in the flame throwing and personal attacks that has been posted on Prophezine and on others sites that attack the experts who dispute the Muslim Antichrist and Beast theory.

In the letter sent to Sean Osborne from Walid Shoebat, Walid calls Sean Osborne a pinhead quite a few times. He also gives reference to a greater “pin head” the “pinhead” referred to obviously is the distinguished Dr. David Reagan who dared to critique Shobat’s infallible book.

It that any way to address PhD scholars and Christians who disagree on non essentials of the faith? These attacks also come from others as well on the forums, they claim all the old experts are wrong and the Antichrist has to be a Muslim but their arguments are weak. Therefore, I guess they feel they have to be aggressive to defend a Muslim Antichrist theory or nobody will buy their new books but that is no excuse for these personal attacks.

Anyway, to get the gist of the mean spirited attacks you will simply have to read the letter from Shoebat to Osborne.

It really has to make you wonder if those who want us to believe that the Antichrist is a Muslim is nothing but a Satanic deception. If the world believes the Beast is Islam the world will be set up for a Western conquering hero that will defeat fundamental Islam but actually turn out to be the real Antichrist.

Prophezine’s Ray Gano and Alleged Former “Palestinian” (a/k/a Jordanian) Terrorist and Muslim Apostate “Walid Shoebat” Sent Me a Letter

29 January 2009: Apparently as a direct result of my personal oppostion to the false teaching of the so-called “eastern leg” exegesis regarding the vision of the prophet Daniel, yours truly has earned the laughable and entirely bogus disdain of Ray Gano (Prophezine) and his new best buddy, the alleged former “Palestinian” terrorist known by the pseudonym “Walid Shoebat.” Grab yourself a nice cup of tea, and get comfortable, this is going to be an interesting read.

Wow! What a tirade from Mr Shoebat. He called Sean a “pinhead” in most paragraphs and used the terms “racist” and “skin-head” in other places of the email. What kind of christian does that?!

This whole eastern-leg anti-christ scenario reminds me of the continuing attacks some make on those who hold to a pre-trib rapture. The venomous name-calling is unbelieveable, completely uncalled for and unbecoming for those who claim the name of Christ. I don’t understand where this hate comes from. I have actually read posts where some will actually question a person’s salvation if they hold to the pre-trib viewpoint! And this “eschalogical flavor of the month” seems no different.

This eastern-leg anti-christ is a non-essential of the faith. The division these people bring has no place in the church. It is interesting to discuss and consider, but in the end, no one really knows who or exactly where the anti-christ will come from. And as I have said before, we should not be looking for the anti-christ. We should be looking for our blessed hope, the appearing of the Lord Jesus Christ.

To the Walid Shoebat’s and Rodrigo Silva’s, I would say, let’s have a discussion, but leave your arrogance, pride and venom at the door. It has no place among the saints of Jesus Christ.

    Kevin

This is simply unheard of. I’d never read that blog before but the accusations Shoebat makes are simply hillarious.

Arabia Felix for instance is Yemen and anyone who knows Roman or Middle Eastern history knows that it was never a Roman province. Arabia Petraea was. It comprised the Sinai and parts of what is Jordan today, where the Nabateans lived (Petra, etc) but not the Arabian peninsula itself. They did not in any way rule the Arabian desert tribes like the Quraish that Muhammad belonged to. Not at Jesus’ time, not ever. Why would they? There was nothing of interest to them in that region.

The North Arabian desert tribes (not Nabateans) didn’t gain importance until the time of the conflicts between the Byzantine Empire (AFTER the fall of the Western Roman empire!) and the Sassanids in Persia when certain tribes allied with the Byzantines (the Ghassanids) and others (the Lakhmids) allied with the Persians.

Roman soldiers during Jesus’ time were Romans or at least Italians. It wasn’t until about the 2nd and 3rd centuries AD and later on that that they hired Germanic and other non-Italian mercenaries.

You don’t have to hold a PhD in Roman history to know that he’s ripping things out of context and deliberately confusing words.

Latin was the language of Christianity from the 2nd century onward after it replaced Greek as the main language used by Christians. Rome was the undisputed center of the Christian Church. So yes, it was Western based from that point of view, though the Gospel was preached to all people.

Intellectually and theologically, Western Christianity has achieved far more than Eastern Christianity ever has. After the schism between the West and the East, the Eastern church has pretty much remained stagnant. To the Orthodox churches everything remains a mystery. Some Oriental churches still reject the dual nature of our Lord Christ and have a problem with the Trinity.

The Latin Church has produced great philosophers and theologians who have offered a lot of explanations and insight into the Scriptures to convey the meaning of the Gospel to us. If it weren’t for the Latin Church we would never have had the Reformation either – and the Reformers stood firmly in the Latin tradition.

To the Eastern churches it is all vain human reasoning somehow and we should just accept “mysteries.” You’re never sure whether you’re saved in their “version” of Christianity (though of course there is only one Christian faith and one universal/catholic Church). Which really means blindly accepting whatever the Orthodox Church says and proclaims to be “mystery”. We might as well not have received any Scriptures to study and learn from then I guess, and act like parrots or like Muslim boys in Afghan or Pakistani madrassas that can recite the whole Q’uran in Classical Arabic and not even understand a word of what it means.

But I digress. Mr Shoebat is the one who should get his facts straight. However, I doubt he’s interested because it looks like all he wants is getting his Muslim Antichrist theory to become accepted by the majority, no matter what it takes – even Bill O’Reilly is a tool to accomplish that goal now, apparently. Shoebat has lost his credibility and my respect.
