Unfortunately, it is because there are no emergency instructions being relayed to the public that has cemeted my belief that their purpose is for the use of the “authorities”. And we can thank president Bush for paving the way for this possibility. He is the one who passed the law that would give the President authority to impose martial law and trample all over the limitations that were put on that power in the original insurrection act.

Like most of our “new and improved” laws, the wording is so generalized and open to interpretation that it really will take very little to tip the scales. Be prepared.

We have propped an economy on the back of sin and our Country stinks of ill gained opulence. American taxpayer funded murder of the unborn, rampid drug abuse and the profit from it thereof are enabling drug warlords and their respective supply side illegal drug caches to be in high demand from the demand side of the border i.e. America.

This Country via PETA has elevated the value of the rat over the value of the unborn baby. This Country has allowed radical groups like ACORN and ASMA to move stealthily under the cover of non-profit status to tap into billions of taxpayer dollars to merely propagate a pattern of culture alien to that afforded by our Constitution.

Gambling and gargantuan revenue earned from children’s video games and movies that glorify Satan. Sexual promiscuity encouraged by a public school system that is always in financial want.

Biofuels pushed when American oil reserves remain capped and at the behest of a governement gone mad. American commodities exports waning and Global food markets collapsing because of the incessant mission to destroy the liberty and bill of rights by CO2 taxable emmission restrictions.

The global war on AIDS and the multi-billion dollar American colossal financial investment and it’s condom campaign band-aid solution to AIDS is a mere crutch to deal with the consequence of a disease rather than address the root of the problem -sin.

Illegal immigration is destroying America by bankrupting hospitals and sucking social service programs dry designed for the needful American citizen, bloating the prison system, and helping destroy the common bonds of a Country held together by a common language, culture, and system of laws and order.

America is going down and going down hard if God Himself does stop this careening descent.

There is no way that this Country will escape the wrath of Almighty God. The Grace and Mercy of Almighty God is truly incomprehensible. His love is simply amazing to allow this Country to slide so slowly to ultimate destruction thereby allowing many to repent and turn to the living and true God, our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ.

May the Lord God Almighty, the Maker of the fearfully and wonderfully made man, give sight to the blind and may He grant a recognizable sound in our ears so that we as sheep in His fold be used by Him for His Glory now and forever.

Very well said. This not only is at the heart of the Christian worldview, it is also the essence of what true conservatism stands for as opposed to the blind belief in some fancy ideals and man-made ideology of those on the Left and the majority of those on the Right these days as well. Where it’s Marxism or Randyan Objectivism – it all boils down to the same old idea that man is basically good and that he can model the world after the fruit of some person’s imagination.

The reason why Brits put up with it is the media. Brits who read certain newspapers would try to vote out any government who increase surveillance, whereas those who read other newspapers believe it is perfectly okay to have these systems in place. Hardly anyone looks into the issue themselves, and they have only themselves to blame. I fall into the same category but I am not ignorant enough to think I have all the information. At the last election, the media balance was for Labour, so Labour was voted in. This government will be voted out next year, but what will change may be minimal.

Did you hear that they plan to enter homes secretly and do surveillance on certain people in Britain in their own homes and not even tell them about it for up to18 months?

Britain simply has gone nuts. You know as well as I do that sooner or later the day will come when martial law is declared. When that day arrives one person will have the power to use all the surveillance systems in Britain for his own end. Big Brother has already set up his devices in great Britain.

My question is why do the Brits put up with your out of control government? Have all men been chemically castrated? Stop drinking the Kool-Aid!

We have also had a more left wing government than America for a long time and people do not feel oppressed. Freedom of speech is allowed, as is freedom to work and freedom to live your life however you want (including some who waste their lives, some who follow one religion or another, those who live openly gay lives etc etc) as long as they do not affect others. So we have a reasonably free country.

As yet, we have not had a maniac of a prime minister at any point who would destroy our freedom completely. It is hard to tell whether this is likely to happen or not. If it is, then we should be vigilant and make it very difficult to do. If it is not, then we can live a little easier. Whether we act or not, it will be possible that a dangerous leader is voted in by a majority in the country and all we can do is hope that we can stop them before it becomes impossible. The elections in Palestine voting in Hamas is definitely an example I think about in this context.
