Peter does not say that people will act like they are drunk. You misquote scripture quite a bit. People were speaking in tongues because they were filled with the Spirit and Peter clarified to people that they were not drunk. That has nothing to with you talking crazy today.

Russia today is in no military position to invade the Middle East with Iran. The Russian army is a disaster area. Russia would have problems even holding the Ukraine today. In a decade or two things might change.

I have no doubt that the leaders of Iran are quite nuts but that does not mean that Iran is now going to fulfill Bible prophecy with some Mahdi figure. If Iran goes nuclear the nuclear facilities will just be taken out.

The rest is you just reading into scripture what you want to believe.

There are a lot of people talking about Armageddon. More now than ever in my lifetime. That would seem to fulfill what Peter is saying in Acts 2. Peter says people will act like they are drunk, but are not…I don’t mean actually crazy. Drunk people say crazy things…like, “It is the end of the world” If you or I had said something along the lines of Armageddon a year ago, people would have called you crazy! Not so today. That is what I meant by that…no affront to you or anyone else. I feel the presence of the Holy Spirit and I don’t think you are qualified to say no
I Didn’t say it was going to be Oprah. I Just said that it could be someone that has such a following that could be the head of the new one world religion. Oprah has denied Christ and has claimed that that we, people are God. That is “The Secret!” Look into it for yourself if you don’t believe me. What will the new religion be? I would suspect that whomever comes up with it and is the leader, will possibly be the one that eventually magnifies themselves as God. “The Secret” is Atheism as the people that believe it don’t believe in God. The Secret could end up being it. That is how I implicate Oprah. It is just a theory.
Scripture does say that Babylon will come to power again. It will be called Babylon the Great. What other way is Iraq going to become a world power? Perhaps you can explain that to me. Back in ancient times, during the captivity and persecution,Babylon was occupied by invaders. It is assumed that it will be occupied again by invaders. It is now occupied by the greatest nation on earth. There is no denying that. Ancient Iraq was also liberated by Cyrus…who was the king of Persia in 530B.C. United states is at war with people that fight in the name of Islam. They seek to destroy the heart of America which is capitalism. They bombed the World Trade Center twice and it was meant to be symbolic. The attack on World Trade center could be Persia attacking Babylon the Great. If the dollar and the economy collapses because of Islam and policies of Obama, prophecy will be fulfilled.

Where does scripture say anyone will occupy Babylon? Scripture says that Babylon is invaded from the North and totally destroyed but that also brings the fall of Babylon. Therefore, your whole theory fails. We have not even seen the rise of Babylon and you say Americans are the people who invaded Babylon and fulfill the prophecy on Babylon?? That sir is just not logical. We did not destroy Babylon when we invaded Iraq. We are now helping to build up Iraq.

The United States is powerful because of its free enterprise system and its biblical and constitutional foundations but the United States is going the way of the world. So how then will it be powerful and unique in the future when you yourself said it will fail economically in just a later paragraph?? Again your line of thinking fails the logic test.

Obama does not fit the description of the Antichrist perfectly as you said. There will not even be an Antichrist until the two prophets are killed in Jerusalem by the Antichrist. I wonder how you think Obama and Oprah will pull that off. It is total nonsense.

Why are you also relying on some Mahdi fable as if Islam has any truth? There is no Mahdi and there never will be. Most of Islam does not even believe in a Mahdi figure. We can have more wars before the end you know. Some thought World War I and World War II would bring in the Antichrist. Just because America or Israel might bomb Iran does not mean this will fulfill any war mentioned in the Bible. How many people were looking for some Biblical answer for our first invasion of Iraq?. There was none. Just because wars happen in our lifetime does not make them fulfill scripture.

If you knew Bible prophecy you would know that Iran comes with Russia and many other nations in this end time war against Israel and God wipes them out Himself. It happens when a hook is put in the jaw of Gog the ruler from the uttermost parts of the North and God brings them down against Israel. At that time apparently Iran comes as an ally with Russia and others. If Iran starts a war with Israel or gets involved in a war with Israel before Gog is ready to come down it will not be any end time war mentioned in the Bible. Russia is not about to come down today nor anyone else from the uttermost parts of the North.

You may be dreaming dreams but you certainly are not fulling Acts 2:14-17. That is one heck of a paraphrase of the passage because those versus in Acts do not say people will be talking crazy like you (please leave me out of your own interpretation).

I can agree that we are near the end times but you really need to study Bible prophecy if you want to be watchman that is not totally blind. Your not going to be a creditable watchman if you tell people that you see things that are not there.

The US is definitely heading in a bad way and the enemy is looking at the weakness of this president. There has never been a nation as great as the United States …not even the Roman empire. Unless another country adopts the constitution of the United States, there will never be one as great. I am absolutely sure of that. After all, things were done pretty much the same way for thousands of years before it was written by the founding fathers. If another country did adopt such a thing, it would take at least 100 years for it to develop into anything that we have today. I don’t think we have that much time.

Satan uses bodies and discards them when he is done. He has never left the earth. Obama fits the description perfectly…at least for now. When Hitler was in power, he fit the description, but there were too many prophecies that where not fulfilled…that is why they were wrong. Satan will be in two forms, one from the land that later gets swallowed and destroyed by the sea serpent. I do not expect Obama to survive politically. I think it possible that he be the one to bring in the terrible wars and create the laws that will oppress us Christians, but not the body that Satan will use when he comes to his full. It has already started with the mandatory healthcare. I have to wander, how do they suppress religion? A terrorist attack and another unconstitutional law forbidding worship except one designated by government. That is about the only way I can see lawmakers justifying it. A terrorist attack in the name of Islam that kills millions would provide that reasoning.

I believe that after all of this comes to pass and there is world war, then one will come that has the appearance of being good, compassionate and loving. I would think that this person or devil will have to be very rich and already have a huge following…religious type following that is. One person that comes to mind would be Oprah. Nothing made sense out of this last election. The nation elected someone with absolutely no experience and on a vague promise of hope and change.

I personally don’t believe it is going to be another 20 years.There are many reasons why I believe that. Fanatical Islam in Iran have already said that they will nuke Israel to bring in the Mahdi. They will have that bomb very soon. To a rational person, that would be suicide. To them, it is an honor to die in the name of Islam. We can see evidence of that with the daily suicide bombers. The world is very unstable right now…more so than under Bush. They were afraid of him. I do not think they are afraid of Obama and I fear that they are going to push things to the limit.

According to scripture, Satan does not come to his full until world war is broken out and the New World order has been established. All it will take is one more push. A double dip recession, which will actually be a depression and a terrorist attack that will invoke martial law. Both of those things are coming real soon. There is no way that this country can come back from that amount of spending and entitlements. The dollar is down 19% since march and we are about 500% above debt to GDP than that just before WW2. Only WW2 got us out of that.

Read Acts 2:14.- 2:17 Peter says that there will be many that will be talking crazy things…like you and I. He says that the Holy Spirit will be with many and they will be talking great things. I do not know about you, but there are a lot of people talking and unlike a 3 or 4 years ago when I started pointing out signs to people and they would think I was nuts, it is hard for me to find anyone to argue with today…even my friends that live in other countries.

I have glanced through your post and you make good points. Many I agree with. I do not know when it will be and I can not put a date on things…especially when Christ will come. I am not qualified to give dates, whether 2030 or 2012. I do know the signs though. I have been a watchman for some time. The Gospel has made it’s way around the world and Knowledge has been increased. People need to start preparing themselves for some very hard times. If they have no relationship with God, then I pray that they start because that relationship is the key to salvation.

I do not even see how America will survive economically or as the “United” States and be able to field large foreign armies overseas much longer. Like you said war precedes globalization and if you have a global power it is much more likely that many nations support it. Europe with NATO would fit the bill both prophetically and positionally.

As for Obama, let us see if he even survives past his first term before we put that title onl him. The Antichrist cannot be revealed while the Holy Spirit indwelt church is here. After that, it is Satan’s to give to whom he chooses. I think the Antichrist is still two decades in the future. I am curious, Babylon was located in ancient Iraq, now currently Baghdad. Unless I am misinformed about what an invasion and occupying forces are, I would say that the United States occupies Iraq and ancient Babylon. Since the United States currently is considered the sole super-power…rapidly declining of course, it would be reasonable to think that the United States could in fact “likely” be the Babylon the Great as prophesies in the Bible indicate. Even though scripture does not mention the United States by name, it is pretty clear that the country that controls Babylon in the end of days will be the most powerful nation on earth. In ancient times during the captivity, Baybalon was also occupied by invaders. It is not likely that any other nation of greatness will be occupying that country any time soon. It has taken the time line that is outlined in the Book Daniel for the most powerful nation in the world to occupy Babylon…2300 years. If anyone honestly believes that the politicians that have been put in place Iraq control that country, they are sadly mistaken. I guarantee that nothing of significance happens without it being cleared by central command. Since it is not likely that Iraq will become a super power by itself, it is plausible to say that particular prophesy has been fulfilled the day that the United States invaded and took control of the country. There are also passages in Daniel that clearly say that that through peace, he will destroy wonderfully. It also says that he will seek to change laws and times. To my recollection, someone was just elected about a year ago on the premise of peace and change. That someone was also nominated and received the Nobel Peace Prize just days after he took office. He also seems changing the times and laws that this country has never seen in its 200 years of history and he is doing it at a speed that would be consistent with the symbols of leopards and lions with wings. He certainly seems to have a magnifying ego as well. People have called him messiah…which he is certainly not. He certainly has fooled a lot of people.There is a lot more that certainly fits the day, like the collapse of economies, the creation of new currencies and eventually the creation of one currency. We are hitting on that now. Russia, China and others already have been talking about the new world currency in which to set the standard. It certainly is not the dollar. The times we live in today much closer match what is prophesied in Isaiah, Ezekiel, Danial, Revelations, Acts, and all of the others than anytime in history. Regardless of whether anyone believes it is the time of the New Age, it will be a time of turmoil for the world if America goes the way of a New World Order and communism. America has been the stability and beacon of hope for many around the world since it first came into being. Before it we had the dark ages. There was a reason someone dubbed it that name. There is plenty of prophecy that says the God’s people will be handed over by God and that the masses will be deceived or dumbed down by Satan. It is probably safe to say that the citizens of Babylon the Great will be fooled by a politician that will make great promise that are vague and filled with hope.

I am not a preacher, nor am i affiliated with any church. I do know that something clearly is not in order. The world has become a much more unstable and dangerous place since the democrats took power in 2006 and then got unchecked power in 2008. It is these circumstances that have led me to places like this website that further my own research on scripture for the last 15 years. Who can say we are or are not in prophesy? The bible says to keep watch or the time will come like a thief in the night and if you are asleep when it comes, then it will be too late. If one must er, let it be on the side of God. I agree with most everything you have said above, but I believe that if America goes down, it will be because of the Will and Hand of God and not stupidity. One can be smart as a whip and still be deceived by a good con man. I do see that you ask a question in one sentence, but then you seem to answer it in the next. It is the latter that I have question with.

P.S. events with Israel and Iran will be the final indicator that world war is close. Israel will be blamed and condemned by the world. I think we are very close to that now…perhaps at the end of the holy season which will end in the middle of January. War precedes globalization

Don’t confuse UN panels controlled by globalists and reports from those that get grants to fund pet projects to prove AGW global warming with reports from those actually doing hard science on the subject.

One reason global warming hype is losing favor is because the tide has changed. Too many lies were told and too many reports were found out to be junk science. Now most real climate scientists do not believe AGW is a threat and have come out against the lying baloney about AGW and about some “consensus” – a consensus that only exists in Al Gore’s feeble mind. However, the politicians will not let go of the issue because it means more taxes, wealth distribution, total control of people and global governance. All things liberal love. If they stay on this path and try to double the cost of all energy in the name of sustainable development (Agenda 21) while the earth keeps cooling they run a real risk of all being tared and feathered.
