There is so much going on, all at the same time, that it is very difficult to keep up with everything. The verse that I put up is indicative of what is happening in the U.S. and Honduras. It is like the flash floods we have here in the desert southwest, one minute the sun is bright and hot, the next you are looking for higher ground because of the deluge coming at you. On Christ the solid Rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand.

Eduardo, keep your faith in Jesus Christ.

I tend to think that the Rapture could be 10 1/2 years before the second coming so seven years later when the world is expecting some type of Christ to appear they will be deceived by the Antichrist. I also would not rule out that the Rapture could be soon and even twenty or so years before the end. The Rapture is always imminent and it could happen today. A biblical type making this gap theory possible is that Enoch was taken to heaven a half of a generation before the flood. This gap might also explain why there are examples of those who give up waiting for the Lord’s return even after they know He is overdue to come. However, I would not make a doctrine out of such speculation.

I live in Honduras, Central America, and there has recently been a presidential knock out (I do not say coup because I do not believe it to be so). The Supreme Court, the Congress and the Military had to overturn the President for many reasons but mainly because he was making the country a socialist dictatorship.

Let me clarify something. We love democracy. I have lived in democracy all my life. I am free to work. I am free to enterprise. We are free to do what is right and preach the Gospel. Mel Zelaya, the overturned president, thought it was going to be easy to install a socialist dictatorship in Honduras. See, we are a very small poor country. But we`ve known what happened to Nicaragua during the 10 yr sandinist socialist diactatorship of Ortega. (By the way, did you know that the actual president of the U.N. Assembly is an Ex-Sandinista, and that the actual General Secretary of the OAS is an exmember of Allende’s Socialist Chile) So let me tell you that the mayority of the people in Honduras love freedom and democracy.

I could write you of all the things he did but I am only going to concentrate in his changing- the-constitution proposal. If he wanted a second term he needed to change the actual constitution. We’ve had 13 or 14 constitutions in 190 yrs of independence from Spain. So in 1982, the national assembly decided that they were going to put 7 articles that nobody could ever change, the seven “petreous”. One of then says that there is no reelection for the president. Now, why did Mel Zelaya, the former president, needed a second, third and so on reelection? Because he wanted to install a socialist dictatorship, as Fidel has in Cuba and Chavez in Venezuela. Since what he wanted to do was against the law, he decided to change the rules of the game. He ordered the military to help him with all this and they–thanks to God– did not follow him. Interestingly, in one moment in time, for a few days, all the honduran society waited in what was going to be the militaries response to Mel’s command. Mel began to be persecuted by the law and he laughed at it. He was unstoppable (nobody could stop him) so the military sent him away on a plane to Costa Rica.

Surprised?

I was very choked. But I know it was necessary.

Will it happen in the US?

Maybe.

Obama is backing up Mel Zelaya’s return to power although he knows Mel’s socialist agenda. Hillary dictated the US Embassy in Honduras not to give any more Turist VIsas to ANY honduran and has cut the Cuenta del Milenio monetary help to the poor of Honduras. So we are not getting any help from the US at all, by the contrary the US is making political and economical pressure to the poorest most insignificant country in Latin America.(!) This is true although we opened up our country to US troops in the 1980’s to stop the Sandinistas in Nicaragua, the US is Honduras “best friend”, and our commercial exchange with the US is the 70% of all our exchange. Open your eyes Americans. “Socialist” CHANGE has come to America.

About Obama speaking to the children, I think that his impact on kids is part of his left winged agenda. Hugo Chavez is forming a brain washing educational system in Venezuela. In 20 yrs there will be no oposition soever from the Venezuelan people. (Recently there was a worldwide march against Chavez’s expansionist plan.) If Obama is serious in transforming America in a socialist country he will try to be reelected for a 2nd, 3rd and 4rth term. He will try to change the Constitution in the name of the “people” and for the “peoples interest”. Arias, the actual President of Costa Rica, is now speaking of changing the Constitution. They definetly want to stay in power. You guys have to win the military just in case they have to take any final decision.

Sorry for speaking a lot about politics. I know that real justice will come in the New Heavens and Earth and in the Millenium. and that is my hope.

I do not want to get way off track and off the subject of the post but since you brought up those that are denying a pre-trib Rapture in recent books, I will put in my two cents worth. The main problem with those who think the Rapture and the second coming are the same is that they just look at the passages about the second coming of Jesus in Glory and ignore the passages that clearly indicate that the coming of Jesus for His own is always imminent. Should faithful Christians be watching and waiting for the blessed hope of the coming of Jesus Christ or looking to getting their heads chopped off by the Antichrist?

I notice that the latest popular books that hold this view also tend to teach an Islamic Antichrist and also tend to believe in a very limited Antichrist who only has control of the Middle-East. But the Bible indicates otherwise. Now you also know just one of the reasons why I am so against those that are teaching these latest Isamic Antichrist theories. They almost always teach that the Church is going through the tribulation. Thus, they deceptively take away from the Church the blessed hope to escape the great trial on earth that we have been told we will be kept out of (Rev 3:10). The true faithful Church on earth has no reason to be tried to see if they will follow Jesus or the Antichrist because the true Church already believes.

Like Jack Kelly basically said in a recent article “God is probably looking for a specific number of souls to complete the Church and not a date” that is why all specific date setters are wrong (by the way, this “No one knows the day or the hour” article, by Jack Kelly, is a great article). Why a specific number? I surmise the Church will replace the fallen angels.

If anyone still does not understand why there will be a pre-trib rapture of the Church Pre-trib.org articles will clear things up.

I recently read some studies that seem to show there will be no Rapture so to speak but only one final 2nd coming, one final resurrection and then its all over and Jesus sets up his 1000yr reign. So in a sense yes a Rapture but its just one time, not two. Not sure what to believe in that dept anymore but I think we must believe that Jesus is Lord and the only Way for us, that I know is most important.

Keep doing your good work. I don’t have as much free time as I used to. I am still selling, and started cooking at my daughter’s school to help with tuition.
