True, but one might wonder if they are even in the faith if they deny these foundational truths after these biblical truths are shown to them from the scriptures. That is the real point of the article.

While I agree with all of the fundamental beliefs you posted and believe in them myself, interestingly enough in Romans 10:9-10 it lists only two points that are needed for salvation: 1. that Jesus is Lord 2. that God raised Him from the dead.

The idea that we are given faith by grace to believe these truths is astounding and humbling to say the least. Once I believed none of it and suddenly 26 years ago I believed it all overnight. God is good!

I agree with what you said the virgin birth is a fundamental foundational truth of Christianity. However, I left the virgin birth out here because those uninformed and those lacking understanding of this fact can still be Christians. For example, when the early Christians believed and were saved I doubt if they initially understood this. Even in the Churches today people come to Jesus on the bases of faith without knowing many doctrinal truths. Having said that, I think if someone were informed and studied why Jesus had to be born of a virgin and then denied the virgin birth they might need to question why they think they are a Christian if they are denying foundational truths.

Of course that also could be said about many of my points in the article so I guess I should have included it. It was just a judgment call to leave it out.

Excellent article. However, I did not see anything about the virgin birth. As you know, this fact is mocked by unbelievers and is under attack like never before. Jesus could not have a sinless nature if he had a human father.
