Mormons deceive themselves, they are not Christians

I guess Mormons can call themselves anything they want, but saying you are Christians and actually being Christians are two different things.

I have great problems with Mormon beliefs, they are not at all compatible with true Christianity. That is why Christians say Mormons are not Christian. They have a Christ not found in the Bible and a path to salvation not found in the Bible. Since they do not believe the essential doctrines of the Christian faith we can hardly say that Mormons are brothers in Christ.

Mormon beliefs about God and Jesus Christ make them Christians, no matter what critics say. This was the message repeated by several speakers on Sunday at the 177th annual LDS General Conference, held in the 21,000-seat Conference Center in downtown Salt Lake City and beamed via satellite to Mormon chapels across the globe.
