Preparing for coming global cooling may be critical to survival

I could get on the bandwagon and tell you that there will be global warming in the future, but even if it actually happened it will not have much of an impact on most that live on this planet today. Global cooling, on the other hand, does really matter to those alive on the earth today. If the earth cools, world food production will fall and many poor people would starve to death.

Most know the biblical story of Abraham and Lot. Lot was Abraham’s nephew and Lot traveled where God was leading Abraham. Tension started increasing between the herdsmen of Abraham and Lot so they agreed to part company. Lot chose to move to the plains where the cities were. Lot’s people mingled with the natives and became influenced by evil people who dominated the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah. Abraham stayed in the hill country and walked with God.

I thought that President Obama would order an air strike on Syria as soon as this Labor Day weekend, but as I completed the first draft of this article, President Obama surprised me and announced that he would seek congressional approval before he ordered a strike on Syria. I previously was thinking that Obama would just ignore the Constitution and the Wars Powers Act and just go it alone against President Basher Assad of Syria and that is the reason for my “Obama plays one-on-one with Assad but loses control of backboard” title.

Halloween spirits are behind the haunting of the Ozarks hollows

Where I live in the Ozarks, the end of October is a time where locals have learned that it is best to stay out of the hollows at night. Evil spirits are particular known to haunt the wooded hollows after midnight in late October and early November. Some of these spooky hollow stories became Ozark legends and they are told annually at the various Ozark Halloween haunting festivals.

Apparently people love going to these haunting events to feel scared as long as they believe that they are actually safe. I guess it can be like reading a scary novel, but beware, the haunting in the hollows during these Halloween festivals may seem just like play acting, but there probably is more in these Ozarks hollows than just meets the human eye.… continue reading
